Earth

In a deserted land where everything appears to be straight back from the early times from Arizona. Everything now up to this day abandoned. A ghost town so quiet the only thing anyone, would set foot in this town, would hear the wind whooshing past your body. Though unknown to most people of the planet, this place has evolved in something more of a training course that was secretly utilised. Other than the creators of this training course, the ones, who discovered this place held things, didn't when this training course was built. Now it's used by grandpa who is planning on using this course to train Ben to improve as he will progress, learn, understand, and proceed to face new threats that could overwhelm him, outwit him through strategy or through gaining an advantage over him, or provoke him to battle with no patience upheld in not even the slightest way.

Grandpa just finishing the last few things that needed to be prepared so he can proceed to start the training that he aims to push Ben to becoming more better if he is to carry on acting as the hero with that watch. After finally completing the last few things, the old man straightens his eyes at Ben, who is very ready to assume the challenge. "You ready?!", he questioned Ben, wishing to know of Ben's preparation. He smiles, feeling like this might help.

Ben smiles, next on slamming the watch, in which it had its selected alien in silhouette icon be of a figure with pointy spikes sticking out. The arms more sculpted in being made of rocks. The transformation commence, causing Ben to have his arms wrapped in the diamond shards that quickly crawl along his entire body until it consumed all over Ben, except his eyes, which immediately turned yellow. Diamond spikes stormed out of his backside, finally completing the transformation process. Ben finally becomes Diamondhead, an alien who he believes would be up for the challenge.

"Oh yeah!", Diamondhead responding to recent one grandpa said. He thought about becoming Four Arms or Heatblast but quickly declined the idea of their uses. Heatblast is an alien to accidentally turn the whole town into a mass of devastation even though there aren't people living in this region anymore. Times have changed regardless of people sentimentally bringing back old things that mattered to them. If he went Four Arms, he wouldn't be able to shoot. Only thow rocks, which won't be as sufficient as Diamondhead's shard shootout and Heatblast's fireball attacks.

Grandpa is unimpressed with Ben's chosen alien form, almost finding it as though Ben would typically use the strongest aliens to overcome all his enemies. He did remember getting told that Ben went Upgrade to beat Selina but that was only the time when Ben was unable to take her down with might. After that, he saw Ben transforming into aliens such as Wildmutt to pull robbers out of their motorcycles, Four Arms on smashing down people who are strong to hold their own for a short while, Heatblast for blasting criminals till they crash against the wall. He's never relied on using his brains only if it was very necessary. He isn't convinced in using the weakest forms like Grey Matter, Ripjaws the latter who can only be used when it involved happening to be underwater due to his severe weakness in feeling weak when there's no water, Ghostfreak for only going stealth or sneaking in. These aliens grandpa less sees. Other than Heatblast, Four Arms, and Diamondhead being used more frequently, Ben has used aliens like XLR8 for speed, and Stinkfly for flight. This fully convinced grandpa Ben had to be trained before he comes up against opponents who could use these circumstances of Ben not relying on his weaker forms to its advantage. After all, the old man is afraid someone or something may appear, and it could be eventual.

Diamondhead clenches his fist, sharpened in getting ready for what's about to throw his way.

"Remember to think out there, Ben", grandpa said, moving to the controls which is where he'll start the course. "Don't just try to muscle it. Might isn't always right".

"I know", Ben assures him. He then reshapes his hands into pointy spikes. "But it's always fun".

Grandpa started the training course.

From one side, numerous small rockets sprung out.

Diamondhead quickly notices it, shooting a few shards at them. Each of them is hit with a diamond crystal.

Grandpa proceeds to move on for the next phase, activating the course to raise from a different angle, cardboards appearing up.

Those cardboards Diamondhead noticed seemed to be pictures of earlier years back when the age of madness came to exist. There are three cardboards. One cardboard shows an appearance of a man who's skin is halfway torn, revealing his cyborg appearance. The second cardboard shows the appearance of a slimy monstrous creature that is consisted of only mud. The third cardboard views an image of a real deadly demon monster with spikes out of most sides of his body.

Diamondhead shoots from his back direction because the cardboards are located from his backside.

The cardboards are shot down, resulting in those crystals sticking on the cardboard.

Diamondhead steps back, preparing to hinge on his senses to detect any upcoming things yet to come out. He brings his spiky hands back into hands that have fingers. Those same fingers moving at a controlled pace, fuelling up on Ben's concentration as he is endeavoured to be prepared for the next throw-up.

A few humanoid robots emerged from their respective exits from separate buildings.

Diamondhead smiles, seeing them. "The real fun starts now", he mutters, later jumping up above the robots. Diamondhead slams on two robots, ripping one leg out from one robot. He swings the leg around him, hitting the other robots backwards. Diamondhead then shoots a few crystals from one direction swiped to the next direction, sending additional robots back.

A few more cardboards. One cardboard's picture displays a Nazi man with a dark-grey suit attached of a black cape. Black boots and black belt worn. The symbol he wore deduces it's a Nazi being. He is white, and he has black hair. Another cardboard shows the appearance of a pale green skin-toned woman who seems be wearing a bathhing suit consisted of leaves clayed together to cover the lady's naked body. The third cardboard shows an image of a man dressed in a yellow suit with the crest displaying a red-coloured streak placed on his chest.

Diamondhead notices that too, shooting them down. He then registers multiple androids charging at him from directions he didn't realise they came from. Ben hammers his hand down, forming a diamond spikes from the ground, smashing up on every android under their feet, sending them flying sky-high till they get destroyed after crashing on the ground. He then bolts diamonds at another side where cactuses newly showed up, instantly slicing them into pieces.

A few dartboards showed up from the cliff located above Diamondhead's head.

Diamondhead fires diamond crystals at the darts, not getting a bullseye since some of them hit outside of the red dot despite the crystals hitting on the boards. He moves forward, preparing to launch more blasts.

Meanwhile, Gwen is relaxed on the seat in front of the Rust Bucket, watching Ben's performance in the training course. Her expression seems neutral due to less excitement Gwen has.

Grandpa is watching Ben's performance. He thinks Ben's performance has been a little sloppy by possible reason of Ben never up against challenging enemies, which wasn't an excuse he'd want to hear from Ben. He wants him to maintain his best at peak without any setbacks or drawbacks caused from his laziness. "Focus Ben!", grandpa shouts to him. He moves a finger directed on his head, gesturing in terms of wanting Ben to know what he should be doing when he is in action. "Think!".

"No worries grandpa", Diamondhead reassures him, gesturing a hand to make sure his grandfather isn't too hurt about his current performance. He then sees small unharmful rockets just past Ben's frontside. Diamondhead shoots those missiles without turning his frontside to face them. He throws his hand in shooting numerous crystals at a few appeared unharmful grenades.

Unbeknownst to Ben because of him being distracted after getting a little drowsed from the pressure he's facing, a robotic figure comes out from the ground behind. It was very different from the robots Ben faced. This robot is a thing grandpa didn't realise, in which the old man comprehended on seeing.

"Ben! Watch out!", grandpa tells him, gesturing a hand flattened with the palm fronted. He knows about one of the aspects of Ben that would make him weak.

Diamondhead swirls around, encountering a muscled man who's skin is white. He had green hair, which is a mohawk. Red lips drawn as one viscous smile as if it was used by a knife to cut those lines up. His size and muscle are astonishingly big to which is a size an ordinary human wouldn't reach up to, it was monstrous. This physical appearance is more grotesque than anything imagined. His spine jutted out. Shoulder blades and ribs broke out of his skin, which was covered in boils and veins. Ben shaped his face as if a million sharp pinches are shot on every part of his body while something stabbed deeply on his chest. Ben tried to get his hands to launch the crystals but before that occurred it, he was slammed by that monster away, resulting in Ben accidentally springing diamonds on every direction, on every building, on anyone.

Those very diamonds crossed through everything, malfunctioning the training course which resulted it in the controls, grandpa was on before ducking to avoid the crystals from landing on him, to go haywire, instantly shut down.

Gwen ducked in time before feeling the diamonds shot at her way. Those same diamonds instead hit on the Rust Bucket.

Diamondhead rose his body up, nervously chuckling. "Oops. My bad", Ben said, rubbing his head over his mistake.
