A/N: Please read and review?
In the East River, lay the remains of a Triceraton Tri-Base on its side.
Cath: You ever get the feeling that things are not exactly what they seem? Take this Triceraton Tri-Base. It seems to be a space invader, but it's really just another casualty, still lying around from the recent alien attack mouths ago.
A Foot helicopter flies over towards the Tri-Base, being flown by a Foot member, with Oroku Saki in the passenger's seat.
Then there's Oroku Saki a.k.a. The Shredder.
The helicopter flies over the ruined city, as members of the Foot repair parts of it, as a Cop stands nearby.
He seems to be using his fortune to rebuild New York.
The helicopter lands near the Cop, then two cranes pull up part of a Triceraton Starfighter each.
But he's really more interested in cleaning all this leftover alien technology for himself.
The six Turtles all stand in a tunnel with their weapons out, when four robots land in front of them.
Lastly, these eight foot tall Amazons. They seem to want to slice us into itty, bitty turtle pieces.
The four robots came out of the shadows as the Turtles stare at us
Okay, they really do want to slice us into itty, bitty turtle pieces.
The robots pounce towards the Turtles.
In Oroku Saki's mansion, Saki himself stood in front of a podium, staring at the Mayor and members of the press, either filming or snapping pictures of him.
"Mr. Mayor, members of the press, in recent weeks I have been called the savour of the city." he began. "In all modesty, I am merely a man fortunate enough to process the means to jump start the rebuilding of this great city."
A image screen behind him showed a picture of the ruined city.
"My salvage and construction crews, will lead the way..." he went on, before the screen showed the city getting repaired. "..in restoring New York..."
The screen then showed a bright shining repaired New York.
"..to a shining palace."
The press all clapped their hands.
"Wow. That's amazing." a few said.
One man then walked forward, not looking happy.
"Mr. Saki, do you have any comment on your allegations of your ties to an ancient criminal organisation?" he asked.
Saki frowned, before he turned to Karai, who stood by a doorway, who nodded.
"And, your alleged connections to street gangs like the Purple Dragons?" the man asked.
The rest of the crowd gasped, before Karai joined them, as the Mayor approached Saki.
"Uh, I'm sorry, but Mr. Saki-san is not taking questions at this time." the Mayor apologised.
He and Saki both turned and walked away.
"Mr. Saki, is it true that renegade scientist Baxter Stockman is still on your payroll?" the reporter asked.
Karai elbowed him in the chest.
"Oh!" he moaned, falling to his knees.
Four other reporters all gathered around him.
"Whoa." a man said.
"Here that, Carmine?" another asked.
"Are you alright?" a third asked.
Karai pushed the reporters away from the one on his knees.
"Could you please move back?" she asked, before she crouched down and got behind him. "It appears this reporter is overwhelmed by the excitement of this event."
She put her hand on his neck, causing him to pass out.
The others began to mutter to themselves as the Mayor and Saki approached a door, Saki turned to Karai slightly as he did.
Meanwhile, in the city, the Turtles were all running along the rooftops together.
"Ladies and gentlemen, the name of the game is Ninjutsu stealth, and height and senses." Leo explained, in the lead.
They jumped onto a roof one at a time, before jumping towards another, first Leo, then Elisa, Raph, Mikey, Cath, and then Donnie.
"Or as we like to call it..." Raph said.
"..hide and seek." Mikey finished.
Once Donnie landed on the roof, he noticed the others were gone, meaning it was his turn to look for them.
"So, I guess this means I'm it." he mumbled.
He took out his Bo and began to run along the rooftop, before he pole-vaulted over it and onto another one. He landed on a air-duct, then patted Mikey with his Bo, as he was hiding behind it.
"Huh?" Mikey muttered.
He looked up and stared at Donnie.
"Ah. Hey!" he complained, as Donnie jumped onto another rooftop.
Donnie looked around, then ran towards a water tower, then poked his Bo upwards, hitting Cath's belly, as she was right underneath it.
"Huh?" she muttered.
She dropped down just as Donnie turned and ran off.
"Hey, no fair!" Cath yelled.
Donnie jumped and landed on another rooftop, then landed on a ledge on another, then ran to the corner, seeing Raph hiding behind it, who he then hit slightly with his Bo.
"Huh?" Raph muttered, before turning to Donnie, seeing he had his night-vison goggles on. "No way, cheater!"
Donnie laughed as he jumped away and landed on another rooftop. He ran towards the roof entrance nearby on it, then hid near it, before patting Elisa's shoulder with his Bo, as she was behind it.
"Wha?" Elisa muttered.
She turned to Donnie as he pulled his Bo back.
"Hey, that's cheating!" she complained, as Donnie ran off.
Donnie jumped onto another rooftop, then ran towards its water tower, seeing Leo hiding right beneath it, hanging onto the supports, then he patted Leo's arm.
"Huh?" Leo muttered, turning around. "Oh, come on?"
He jumped down and landed in front of Donnie.
"You're missing the point of the exercise Donnie." Leo said.
"What? My sensors are heightened, with night-vison goggles." Donnie assured, lifting them up.
He put his Bo away and turned around, as Raph, Mikey and the girls all landed behind him.
"What do you say we heightened your sense of pain?" Raph said, punching his fist.
"You're not meant to use technology for this exercise, Don!" Elisa scowled.
They both raised their fists to punch Donnie, Cath folding her arms, showing no sign of stopping them.
"Time out?" Donnie asked, holding his hands like a 'T' shape, as his Shell-Cell beeped. "Duty calls."
"Oh, you lucked out!" Elisa frowned.
Donnie took his Shell-Cell from his bag, then put it to his ear area.
"Hello?" he asked.
He moved his head away as a loud ringing came from the other end.
"Ah! Another wrong number!" he moaned. "Somebody keeps trying to fax me or something."
"You need to change your number then." Cath advised.
"Yeah, yeah." Raph said, punching his fist. "Now where were we?"
Donnie gulped as the others approached him - expect Cath - when a noise roared above them all.
"Huh?" Donnie muttered.
They all turned and looked up, seeing Police helicopters moving away. Donnie put his goggles away, as Raph grinned, while Mikey and Elisa both looked confused.
"What the shell?" Mikey said.
The Turtles all ran towards the edge of the rooftop, seeing Police helicopters over Central Park with spotlights.
"Police copters?" Donnie questioned.
"Something's going down in the park." Leo realized.
"Yeah, but what?" Elisa wondered.
Donnie took out a pair of binoculars from his bag, then looked down at the park, seeing Foot technicians all over the place.
"What do you see, Don?" Cath asked.
"Can't quite make out what it..." Donnie explained.
He moved the binoculars away, before spotting Triceraton Starfighters being lifting off the ground.
"Whoa. Triceratons?!" he questioned.
Mikey patted his shoulder.
"Uh, Don?" he said, pointing up at the sky.
Donnie turned to him, then looked up, seeing three Foot helicopters lifting up a Triceraton Starfighter each with cables, before flying off with them."
"Some kind of Foot activity." Donnie gasped, as the Turtles turned around.
"Let's check it out." Leo said.
Once in the park, they approached the Foot camp, seeing construction equipment lifting up the remains from the Triceraton invasion.
"It's some kind of salvage operation." Mikey noted.
"Look at all that alien tech they're grabbing?" Raph asked.
"I'd hate to think what Shredder wants it for." Cath gulped.
"Something's not right." Leo said.
"Yeah. They're cleaning everything up." Donnie noticed.
"No, I mean, something's not right." Leo corrected.
A bunch of Foot Ninja then jumped down from the trees all around them, and surrounded the six Turtles.
"Foot Ninja?" Raph snarled, as they took their weapons out. "Good, I could use a workout."
"When do you never?" Elisa teased.
The Foot began charging at the Turtles.
"With this pyjama heads, we'll be lucky if we break a sweat." Mikey smirked.
Two Foot Ninjas threw a chain at Donnie, who spun his Bo around, when one of the chains wrapped around it.
"Ah!" he gasped.
The other chain wrapped around the other end of his Bo, then he pulled on it, but the Foot held their ground. Donnie grunted as he kept trying, when Leo came over and sliced the chains up.
Mikey spun his Nunchucks around, then ducked as a Foot threw his chain at him, which then wrapped around a tree branch.
"Ha, miss!" Mikey scoffed.
The Foot then pulled his chain back, snapping the branch off, which then hit Mikey in the shell, knocking him down.
"OW!" he moaned.
Elisa blocked ones sword with her Kamas, then they both pulled back from each other, then she tried to kick him, but missed as he ducked, before he tackled her, tripping her up onto her shell.
"OH!" she moaned.
Cath ducked as one tried to slash her with his sword, then she jumped up as he tried to slash her legs, before she kicked him in the chest with both feet, knocking him away. She then turned around as another two charged at her, then both jumped up and kicked her in the chest, sending her flying away, before she hit a tree.
"OH!" she moaned, touching the side of her head. "I really felt that one!"
Donnie blocked ones sword with his Bo, then they pulled away from each other, before Donnie twirled around on his Bo and kicked him away. He turned around just as another threw three Shurikens at him, which wedged themselves into his Bo, before a third kicked him in the shell, knocking him onto his chest.
"AGHH!" he moaned, hitting the ground.
He skidded along it, before he lifted his head up.
"Is it just me, or are we breaking a sweat?" he asked.
"No sweat here, Donnie-boy." Raph assured, blocking a Foot's sword with his Sais.
He then moved left slightly, then blocked another slash from his sword, when another spun a chain around. He then threw the chain away, before it wrapped around Raph, trapping him against a tree.
"AGHHH!" he groaned.
He tried to use his strength to break free, but the chain was too tight around him.
"Uh, guys!" he called, before a Foot dived towards him with a sword. "I'm breaking a sweat now!"
The Foot kept diving towards Raph, but Leo then blocked his swords with his own before he could slash Raph. Leo then pulled back, making the Foot fall over, before he sliced the chain up, freeing Raph.
Raph then jumped towards another one, then dodged a slash from his sword, before he kicked him in the chest, knocking him away.
Mikey spun his Nunchucks around while surrounded by seven Foot Ninjas. Two then threw chains at him, which wrapped around his Nunchucks.
"Ah!" he yelped, before they got pulled out of his hand. "Whoa. These guys are a lot tougher than I remember."
Donnie landed in front of Mikey, then blocked twos swords with his Bo.
"Better trained too." he noted, before pushing them away with his Bo. "In fact, their fighting style seems awfully familiar."
All six Turtles stood together as the Foot all approached them.
"Yeah, but from where?" Cath wondered.
The Foot all approached the Turtles, but then stopped and looked up, seeing four Police helicopters heading towards the area with searchlights.
"This is N.Y.P.D Sky Patrol 1..." an Officer reported.
The helicopters all flew over the area, but saw no sign of the Turtles or the Foot.
"..salvage perimeter is clear and secure."
"Roger that, Sky Patrol 1." another Officer said.
The helicopters all flew away, as the Turtles watched them from under the Driprock Arch Bridge.
"Hey, since when do Police Choppers patrol Foot operations?" Mikey wondered.
"That's a good question?" Cath admitted.
Donnie looked up and saw Foot helicopters flying away with more pieces of Triceraton Starfighters.
"Uh, guys, can someone please tell me what the shell that was all about?" he asked, turning to the others.
"Two words; alien technology." Raph answered, holding his right fingers up.
"Right. Tones of it lying around after the big invasion." Leo said, as the helicopter spotlights flew over the arch. "And apparently, Shredder's got all the salvage rights."
Once the lights left, they all ran off towards a sewer entrance.
"And the Police are helping him?" Donnie questioned.
"I'm not surprised, due to what they're saying on TV." Elisa said.
Leo bent down and picked the cover up.
"Throw enough scratch at this city, and you can make all kinds of new friends." Mikey said.
Leo jumped down into the sewer, followed by Raph, Elisa, Cath, Donnie, and then Mikey.
Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Saki opened the door to his main room, then he and the Mayor both walked into it, then Saki took off his jacket.
"So, uh, those reporters allegations, anything I should know about?" the Mayor asked.
Saki put the jacket on a coat hanger stand, before taking his normal outfit from it.
"Pure tabloid fantasy, Mr. Mayor." Saki lied, getting behind a clothes rack.
The Mayor walked around the clothes rack as Saki changed into his normal outfit.
"Because the last thing I need in election year-" he began.
Saki came out from behind he clothes rack, just as Hun entered the room behind him.
"Master, an urgent message." Hun explained.
"I gave explicit instructions that the Mayor and I are not to be disturbed." Saki snarled.
Hun turned to the Mayor, who noticed his Purple Dragon tattoo, before he bowed before Saki, then he turned around and walked away.
"You must forgive the rudeness of my...bodyguard." Saki said.
"Was he wearing a Purple Dragon's tattoo?" the Mayor asked, turning to him.
"The dragon is a symbol of great honour, in the land of my ancestors." Saki lied.
He and the Mayor walked towards the table in the room, which had a bunch of blueprints on.
"Now, I have been reviewing your plans for refreshing Times Square." Saki explained, picking one up. "I am afraid 47 million dollars is out of the question."
"Oh..." the Mayor sighed.
"You will require 147 million dollars." Saki said, before turning to him. "I have already wired the funds into the city's account."
The Mayor smiled and laughed. "Oh... Well, I'm sure you know best." he said.
"Always." Saki said, turning away.
Down in the sewers, the Turtles all walked down a tunnel.
"Whatever Shredder's up to with that alien tech, it can't be any good." Leo said. "The question is, how can we stop him?"
"The old wooden clog in the machine; sabotage." Donnie answered.
"You mean; break stuff?" Mikey inquired.
"That's exactly what he means." Cath explained.
"Now you're talking words I understand." Raph grinned, punching his fist.
"But where do we start looking?" Elisa inquired.
"Well, those Foot Copters we saw earlier were heading towards the waterfront." Mikey recalled, as they ran down the tunnel.
"Let's check it out." Leo said.
At the mansion, Saki stared at a statue of himself in the main room.
"Open." he said.
The statue opened up into two bits, then he walked towards it. Once in the gap, he turned around, before the statue closed on him. He then went down a hidden elevator, before it opened up in a laboratory room, where several Foot Tech Ninjas were working.
He walked into the lab, then approached Hun, Karai - in her uniform - and Stockman.
"Report?" he asked.
Hun, Karai and Stockman all bowed their heads, before Hun turned to Saki.
"Master, please forgive my earlier interruption?" Hun asked, as Saki stopped. "But I thought you'd want to know, we encountered the Turtles near the Central Park salvage operation."
Saki grabbed his arm and squeezed it while holding it up.
"OHH!" Hun gasped, before falling to his knees.
"You are not to be seen or heard while I conduct our legitimate business!" Saki ordered. "Is that clear?!"
"Yes, Master!" Hun understood.
Saki let go of his hand, before he rubbed it.
"As for the Turtles, they must not be allowed to interfere with my plans." Saki instructed, as Hun got up.
A red-headed Dr. called Chaplin came running up the steps towards them.
"Actually, I have a little project that might come in handy." he said. "I've been-"
Stockman used his metallic arm and grabbed his collar.
"Never interrupt Mr. Saki, Dr. Chaplin!" Stockman snarled, before letting him go. "You'll have to excuse the new guy. He's a little overenthusiastic. He just needs to learn his place."
"Let me see this...project of yours, Dr. Chaplin?" Saki asked intrigued.
He walked forward as Stockman looked shocked.
Dr. Chaplin led them all towards a door, before it opened up, showing a room with four sphere objects inside.
"Well, when I say 'my project', it's really based on the ground breaking work of Dr. Stockman." Dr. Chaplin explained, before they stopped. "I mean, he's a giant in this field. It's hard to believe I actually get to lead a tech-team with my idol."
"Lead?" Stockman questioned, turning to Saki. "But I'm the tech division leader."
Saki whacked his metallic hand away.
Chaplin took out a remote control from his pocket.
"So, here they are." he said, pressing a button on it.
Four 8 feet tall robots rose up from the ground in front of the spheres, one gold, one sliver, one bronze, one grey. Each of them resembled Karai, with red eyes, Samurai armour, and different weapons - Silver had two swords, Gold a spear, Bronze a Scythe, and Grey a Kusarigama.
"I call them the Amazonian Blade Bots." Chaplin explained.
"Do I detect a resemblance?" Karai asked.
"You don't mind, do you?" Chaplin asked, blushing. "It's just that...well... I mean, you're just so prefect."
Karai turned away from him, her arms folded, unamused.
"Ah." Chaplin sighed.
Grey held out its Kusarigama, spinning the chain half above itself.
"Uh, so..." Chaplin said.
Gold spun its spear around, before holding it behind itself.
"..anyway, these bots..."
Bronze twirled its Scythe around in front of itself, before it held it upwards.
"..are the latest in remote guided mech technology..."
Silver took out its swords, then spun them around on either side of itself, before locking them together in front of itself.
"..completely controlled by our operatives in these geo-sphere substations."
A Foot Technician was in each sphere, then one moved slightly, causing Silver to slash its swords out while bending down, its left in front of it, its right out behind it.
"Yes, well, the video game generation do enjoy their little playthings." Stockman admitted, as Saki put his hand on his chin.
"I love like to see a demonstration?" Saki requested, lowering his hand.
Stockman looked shocked as he turned around.
"Why not let Karai test their metal?" Hun suggested.
He and Karai glared at each other.
"Excellent suggestion." Saki agreed.
Karai walked forward and stared at the four Blade Bots, who all stared at her. Silver then slashed its swords out, as Karai brought out hers and a Kusarigama, spinning it around. She then threw the chain at Sliver's leg, then pulled on it, before Sliver sliced the chain up, then sent a slash at her, which she blocked with her sword, before it kicked her away.
"Oh!" she moaned.
She hit the floor and skidded along it, before hitting a wall.
"Uh!" she moaned. "Huh?"
Silver pounced towards her, then she jumped over it as it landed and tried to slash her with both swords, making them slash the floor slightly. She landed behind it, then slashed its legs with her sword, tripping it up onto its back, as its controller moved his substation back to a lying position.
Grey spun the chain part of her Kusarigama, then threw it at Karai, wrapping it around her.
"Uh!" she moaned.
Grey then pulled the chain back, lifting Karai up slightly as she spun around, before she hit the floor, then bounced along it slightly.
"Oh!" she moaned, as she stopped on her side.
Silver's controller pulled himself up, then Silver got up and dived towards her, landing near her as she turned to it. It then raised its swords over itself, as Karai braced herself.
"Ah!" she yelped.
Silver then lowered its swords to strike, stopping just inches away from Karai.
"Hold!" Saki commanded.
Karai opened her eyes and stared at Silver, as the other Blade Bots gathered around it.
"Huh?" she muttered.
Silver straightened up and raised up its swords.
"So...what do you think, Mr. Saki?" Chaplin asked.
"You did hear him say this was all based on my work." Stockman recalled.
Saki ignored him and turned to Chaplin.
"If your robots prove themselves by destroying the Turtles Dr. Chaplin, then perhaps we can retire your mentor Dr. Stockman once and for all." he said.
Stockman gasped, for that sounded like a death threat.
"Looks like someone's going to be out of a job soon." Hun smirked.
Karai pulled herself up.
"I have other matters to attend to." Saki explained. "Karai, proceed with the other operation we discussed."
Karai bowed as Saki turned and walked away, leaving Hun confused.
"Wait, other operation?" Hun questioned, turning to Saki. "Is there something I should know, Master?"
Stockman grinned and moved closer to Hun.
"Apparently I'm not the only one being considered for early retirement." he smirked.
He chuckled as Hun gritted his teeth angrily.
Meanwhile, in the East River, lay a Triceraton Tri-Base from the invasion, half above, half below the river. Near a hole in the side of it, was a platform filled with Foot Technicians, with a motorboat nearby.
The Turtles all rose their heads up from the water nearby, then stared at the Tri-Base.
"The fallen Tri-Base, and the Foot are already here." Leo said.
"Let's see if we can slow down their salvage operation." Donnie said.
"Permanently." Raph said, punching his fist.
"But how do we get in undetected?" Mikey asked.
"Simple, we go underneath, bro." Elisa explained, before she dived into the river.
The others then followed her, then soon they all surfaced inside the Tri-Base. They all got out of the water, then ran down a nearby tunnel.
"Looks like we're in the central elevator shaft." Donnie noticed, as they walked down it.
"Man, this is weird." Raph said. "Everything's all turned around."
"Well, it is on its side, bro." Cath reasoned.
The five eldest Turtles all walked down the shaft, when Mikey came swinging past them on a cable with one of his Nunchucks, using it as a zip-line.
"Elevator going down!" he whooped, going past them. "I mean, sideways."
He pulled his Nunchuck off the cable, and then landed on the ground and turned to the others.
"Mikey, keep it down!" Donnie hissed.
Raph ran forward, then jumped up towards a shaft door, landing on it. He then pried it open with his Sai, seeing a bunch of explosives on the other side.
"Whoa. Check out the armoury?" he said.
The others - expect Mikey - all looked through the doorway.
"We could have a heck of a 4th of July with these fireworks." Raph said.
"Know what I think?" Leo asked, getting their attention. "We just found a way to keep the Tri-Base tech out of Shredder's hands."
"Yeah. Yeah." Elisa smirked. "There's no way all this tech would survive an explosion these things could make."
They all soon ran into a room, then towards a large hole in the floor, then they stopped near it. They all looked down the hole, and saw a bunch of Foot Technicians working on something that resembled a pyramid.
"Down there." Donnie said. "Foot."
"They're industrial little monkeys, I'll give them that." Raph admitted.
"But what are they doing?" Elisa wondered.
Most of the Foot Technicians all held a buzzsaw to the pyramid, while a few observed.
"So that's what they're after, the Tri-Base Power Core." Donnie said.
"Doesn't look so dangerous to me." Mikey said.
A Foot Technician lowered a crane down towards the top of the Power Core, then another put the end into a hole with ropes around it.
"Are you kidding?" Donnie asked, turning to Mikey. "There's enough juice in that thing to wipe out the entire city, and most of New Jersey too."
Cath gulped. "In Shredder's hands, that is really bad news." she gulped. "He could hurt thousands of innocent people with that thing."
"We'll stop him, sis." Leo promised, seeing how worried she was.
The Foot Technicians all stopped sawing the Power Core, then the one manning the crane lifted it up.
"We can take 'em out easy." Raph smirked. "They're not Ninjas. They're just flunkies."
He then jumped down towards the Power Core.
"Raph, wait?!" Elisa called.
Raph ignored her as he kicked the one on the Power Core with both feet, knocking him down and off it.
"OHHH!" he yelled.
The others turned as he fell past the scaffolding, before they turned to Raph and began spinning chains around. Two then threw theirs up to him, wrapping them around his ankles.
"AHH!" he yelped, as they pulled him off the Power Core.
The other Turtles all jumped down towards the room, then Mikey landed on the scaffold, facing a technician. He then charged at the technician, then tried to punch him, but missed as he ducked, then grabbed Mikey's arm and threw him over himself.
"WHOA!" Mikey yelled.
He hit the floor hard on his chest.
"OH!" he moaned.
He pulled himself to his knees, then rubbed his head.
"They sure don't fight like flunkies." he noted.
Cath landed near one, then dodged as it tried to slice her with a sword, then tried to kick him, but he blocked it with his hand, and then kicked her in the chest.
"AGHH!" she yelled, before hitting a wall. "Oh!"
She rubbed her head as she looked up.
"How they'd get this tough?" Cath wondered. "We're normally better than this."
Elisa blocked ones sword with her Kamas, locking their weapons together, making her grit her teeth.
"I know! It's like someone's upped their training!" she gritted.
Leo landed on the ropes around the Power Core with one of his swords out, as a technician landed on it near him.
"Yeah. They fight like...Karai." he noted, as a he blocked a slash from the technician's sword.
Donnie landed on a scaffold near one with a buzzsaw, while holding his Bo.
"So wait..." he said.
He held his Bo up, before the technician sawed it in half with the buzzsaw.
"Ah!" Donnie gasped, backing away. "You're saying..."
He ducked as the technician tried to saw his head off, then back flipped as he tried to saw his legs off.
"..Karai trained these flunkies?"
Leo swung forward on the rope and kicked the one off the Power Core.
"I guess she's still working for the Shredder." he assumed.
"WHOA!" the technician yelled.
Raph ran up a wall as two spun their chains around.
"Lucky us." he said sarcastically, kicking his feet against it.
He back flipped and split kicked the two technicians, knocking them down.
"AGHH!" they yelled.
Leo sliced the rope around the Power Core, causing it to shoot down towards the ground, landing hard when it was earlier, making a clanking noise. He put his sword away, as Donnie and Cath ran over to him.
"Hey, careful with that thing!" Donnie warned, as Leo walked off the power core. "Unless you wanna vaporize everything within a hundred mile radius?"
"Yeah, Leo! You wanna harm all those people?!" Cath frowned.
"Well, how do we keep Shredder's goons from coming back for it?" Leo asked.
"By making it inoperable." Donnie explained, opening it up.
"Huh?" Leo asked, confused.
"Make it unusable." Cath translated.
"Ah..." Leo said.
"We'll need something to short out its circuitry." Donnie explained. "Something like..."
Water began dripping from the ceiling, one drop hitting the Power Core, making it sparkle slightly.
"Huh?" the three Turtles gasped.
"Water. A lot of water." Donnie said. "Salt water."
"Looks like Ellie gets her wish after all." Cath smirked.
Later, Leo and Donnie were in the explosive room from earlier, while Raph sat in the doorway, Mikey and the girls being outside the room.
"A few well placed explosive changes..." Leo began, picking one up, before passing it to Donnie. "..in the Tri-Base's asteroid underbelly..."
Donnie turned around and passed it to Raph, as Leo turned and picked up another one.
"..should open up the flood gates..."
He turned and passed it to Donnie, as Raph passed his to Elisa.
..and short out the Power Core."
He turned and picked up another, as Donnie passed his to Raph.
Later, Raph placed one on a support beam in the underbelly.
"By the time we're done..." Leo explained.
Raph set the timer on the explosive.
"..there won't be any alien tech left for the Foot to salvage."
Donnie put an explosive down on the ground, then armed it, as the others stood around him.
"Timer set for one tri-gone." he explained. "About ten minutes by my calculation."
"Plently of time for us to get out." Leo said.
A noise then made them all turn.
"You guys did hear that right?" Cath asked.
"I did." Elisa nodded.
They then all saw four shadowy figures approaching them.
"Or for something else to get in." Raph said.
The shadowy figures all emerged from the shadows, showing they were the Blade Bots.
"Well, this is something new." Donnie noted.
"You got a point there, bro." Elisa agreed.
The Blade Bots all brought out their weapons, then Silver somersaulted forward and landed near Raph, who charged at it. He then tried to stab it with his Sai, but it jumped over and landed behind him, then kicked him in the chest as he turned around, sending him flying away.
"AHH!" he moaned, hitting a rock.
He fell onto his chest and moaned.
Gold charged at Donnie, then tried to slash him down with its spear, but missed as he jumped to his left.
"Wha?!" he gasped, landing on a cone in the wall.
He turned, then jumped away as Gold tried to slash him again, slicing the cone up.
Bronze charged at the girls, then tried to slice them both with his scythe, but missed as they ducked, then they both rolled away - Elisa to her left, Cath to her right. It then turned and kicked Cath in the shell as she got up, sending her flying away.
"UH!" she moaned, hitting the ground.
Leo back flipped and landed on a rock, then turned around as Grey ran along the wall, spinning the chain on its Kusarigama around. He then jumped away as it tried to hit him with the chain, then he ran off down the tunnel, as it ran along the ceiling. He stopped and turned to it, then ducked as it tried to hit him with its chain again.
Raph blocked Sliver's left sword with his right Sai, then used his left one to block its right sword.
"We really don't have time for this!" he complained, slashing them against Silver's leg, but didn't even dent it.
Silver then kicked him in the chest and sent him flying away past Leo, Mikey and Grey.
"AGHH!" he moaned.
Mikey ducked as Grey tried to hit him with its chain.
Elisa blocked Bronze's scythe with her Kamas, then pulled them back and slashed its chest slightly, but didn't even scratch it.
"Huh?" she muttered.
Bronze then booted her away, sending her flying away before she hit the ground.
"OH!" she moaned, hitting it on its chest. "Just what are these things made of; Titanium?!"
The timer on the explosives kept counting down.
Donnie began to climb up a set of cones, which formed a makeshift ladder.
"Guys, follow me!" he called, before he stopped and turned to his siblings. "We need to get the shell out of here before those explosives blow!"
Gold then sliced up one of the cones his hand hung onto.
"AH!" he yelped, turning to it.
Gold then sliced a cone his legs were on, causing him to fall down towards the ground.
"AGHHHH!" he yelled.
He hit the ground on his shell, then Gold landed right above him, then raised its spear over its head.
"AGHH!" Donnie yelped.
He began to breath hard, but then stared at an explosive behind Gold, before it blew up, causing Gold to catch fire as it fell on him.
"Donnie?!" Raph called.
"DON, no?!" Cath cried.
"I'm...I'm okay!" Donnie grunted, lifting Gold off of him. "Just a little bruised."
He then ran off towards the others.
"Come on, let's go!" Leo called.
Another explosive went off behind them as they, Silver, Grey and Bronze all ran down a tunnel. Another then went off, which caused a lot of water which hit Grey and Bronze. Another then went off, causing more water to get into the tunnel, which hit Silver, creating a tidal wave which went after the Turtles. The Turtles all ran down another tunnel, before the water caught up with them all.
"AGHH!" they yelled.
The wave sent all six Turtles and four Blade Bots down the tunnel like on a water slide.
"AGHHHHH!" the Turtles yelled.
In the lab beneath the mansion, Chaplin and Stockman both stood by the technicians in the spheres, before approaching one, seeing the floor on a screen.
"No! No! No!" Chaplin exclaimed. "What's happening?! My Amazonian Blade Bots! Get them out of the flood, now!"
Stockman laughed hilariously.
(Tri-Base)
The four Blade Bots began to climb up a wall and out of the water.
(The lab)
Chaplin saw them on the screen in the sphere.
"Yes! These babes are indestructible." he grinned.
Stockman turned away from him in annoyance.
"What if this young up-start punk actually succeeds in finishing off those reptiles?" he muttered, before moving away. "I'll be finished. Retried permanently."
He turned to Chaplin.
"We'll see about that." he snarled.
In the Tri-Base, water was flooding all over the power core room, before the Turtles all surfaced and coughed slightly.
"You guys alright?" Leo asked, turning to his younger siblings.
"Fine." Raph assured, holding his thumb up.
"We're swell." Donnie said.
"A-Ok." Elisa assured.
"Check." Cath said.
"I'd be a whole lot better if we can get out of this stupid Tri-Base." Mikey said, as it began it sink into the river.
"He's right. We need to get outta here!" Cath agreed.
They all began climbing up the scaffold near the Power Core.
"Come on." Donnie said, leading the way. "Up here. It's the only way out of the chamber."
He and Leo made it to the top of the scaffold, then turned to the others - the girls being behind them, Raph and Mikey behind them.
"Guys, hurry up!" Donnie said. "Before the water fries the Power Core."
They all then jumped away onto the stand the Power Core was on, just as the water reached it. It began to fry as they all climbed up a wall, then jumped over a catwalk, before landing on another, seeing the hole to the shaft above them.
"Whoa. That was close." Mikey admitted.
The four Blade Bots then showed up above them all and crouched on the other railing on the catwalk.
"But at least we made it up." Mikey said.
"Yeah. Up, but not out." Leo said.
The Turtles all jumped and grabbed the railing, then swung on it and kicked the Blade Bots in the back, knocking them away. Gold managed to grab onto the railing below them, while the others hit the water, before the Turtles sat on the railing.
"Yes!" Mikey whooped. "One toasted Power Core with a side order of butt fires."
"That's one dish I can live without." Elisa smirked.
Gold glared at them while holding onto the railing below them, before it swung itself forward, then kicked Raph away as it dived up.
"AHH!" Raph moaned.
Gold landed on the railing, then took out its spear.
"What the?!" Mikey gasped.
"Huh?" Elisa exclaimed.
They both took out their weapons, before Gold tried to slash them both with its spear, but they blocked it with their weapons. It then pulled its spear back as they both fell down, nearly going through the gaps in the railing. They both tried to pull themselves up, when Raph came diving down from the hole, then blocked Gold's spear with his Sais as it tried to slash Mikey and Elisa.
He then lowered its spear slightly, as Mikey and Elisa got up, then Leo kicked Gold in the back of the leg, making it fall to its knees as Raph moved back. It then whacked Leo in the chest with the butt of its spear, knocking him into Donnie and Cath, knocking them all back. Raph then stabbed his Sais into Gold's hand, causing it to short-circuit.
"Hey, I think we've damaged this one!" he called.
He pulled his Sais back, then knocked Gold's spear up into the air with them. Leo then caught the spear as it dived towards him, then he held it up as Gold turned to him.
"Sorry, Karai." he said.
He slashed Gold across the chest with its spear, slicing it in half, causing the top half to fall into the water, which was now right near them. Elisa then kicked the bottom half of Gold into the water, before the room shook.
"Let's move it..." Donnie said.
Leo handed Donnie Gold's spear.
"..before we find ourselves going down with the ship."
He put the spear behind him, then all six Turtles jumped up towards the hole. They all soon climbed into the elevator shaft, then ran down it, as the Tri-Base sunk deeper and deeper into the ocean. They all kept running, when the Tri-Base turned slightly, causing them to fall towards the floor with the doors on.
"WHOA!" they yelped.
They all kept on running, past the room with the explosives in, but then stopped when they heard a clanking noise.
"Huh?" Cath muttered, as they turned around.
They all stared at a smokescreen, as Sliver, Grey and Bronze all stepped out of it.
"Oh, not again?!" Raph complained, as the Blade Bots brought out their weapons.
"Just how many times do we have to do this?!" Elisa complained.
"I don't know, but we don't have time for this!" Mikey said, as the Turtles brought out their weapons - Donnie holding Gold's spear.
In the lab, Chaplin stared at one of the sphere's, seeing the back of Grey on the screen in it.
"Yes! That's right." he said. "They take a licking and keep on ticking."
Stockman approached another sphere behind Chaplin.
"Let's see them lick this?" he snarled, lowering his hand down.
A small hologram of the system appeared in front of him, before his hand began moving on a small circular knob - like R2 in Star Wars - before it turned green.
In the Tri-Base, the Turtles all stared at the three Blade Bots, which raised their weapons up, before their eyes went blank, and electricity came out of them.
"Huh?" Elisa muttered, as they fell into the explosive room.
"What the...?" Raph said.
The Turtles looked down at them, as they began to short-circuit.
"'Bout time we caught a lucky break." Mikey said.
"Are you out of your shell?!" Donnie asked frantically. "Those sparkling Karai bots, just fell into a room full of Triceraton explosives!"
"As they say in the Navy, abandon ship!" Elisa yelled.
The Turtles all turned around and ran down the shaft.
"AGHHH!" they yelled.
The Karai bots then blew up, starting a chain reaction, which caused a large explosion to go off in the explosive room. The Turtles kept racing down the shaft, before they reached an exit, then jumped through it and dived into the river. They all swam off as explosions went off all over the Tri-Base, causing it to sink into the East River.
"Ah." the Turtles gasped, surfacing.
They all panted, before they turned to smoke that came from where the Tri-Base had been.
"Whoa." Mikey said.
They all turned around as they heard a noise.
"Now what?" Donnie wondered.
"Just what else can happen tonight?" Cath asked sarcastically.
They all watched as a motorboat pulled up near them, showing Karai onboard, who stared at them all, wearing a headset radio.
"Karai, what is the status of the Turtles?" Saki asked through the radio. "Have they been captured? Destroyed?"
Leo glared at Karai, before she touched her headset.
"No, my lord." she lied. "I'm afraid they got away."
She sped her motorboat away, then turned it around, and raced towards the city.
"What? She couldn't give us a lift?" Mikey inquired.
Raph smacked the back of his head.
"Shut up and swim!" he snarled.
"Yeah, come on!" Elisa said.
Mikey rubbed the back of his head, as his older siblings swam off.
Later, in the lab, Hun and Stockman stood by one of the spheres, as Chaplin stared frantically at Saki.
"I don't understand what happened." Chaplin assured. "The bots were all working perfectly, and then...somehow they just self-destructed."
"Here's the problem." Stockman said.
Saki and Chaplin turned to him, while Hun approached him, as he had the same hologram of the system up in front of him.
"A glitch in the power surge protection code. Rookie mistake." Stockman said. "One I can easily correct."
Saki turned to Chaplin, who looked confused, before he turned back and walked past Stockman. All four of them then approached Karai and two technicians, who stood by the elevator with a crate.
"Please don't blame the boy?" Stockman asked. "It's my fault. I should've checked his programming more thoroughly."
"See that you do in the future." Saki snarled, as he stopped and turned around. "This entire project would've been a complete failure, had I not heeded Karai's advice. The Tri-Base operation was simply a decoy, to keep the Turtles busy while she recovered this..."
The technicians pushed the crate into the elevator as he pointed at it.
"My true objective..." Saki explained.
Stockman and Hun both approached him.
"Uh, I would be happy to examine whatever alien technology you were able to-" Stockman assured.
Hun came over and pushed Stockman aside.
"If I can assist you in any way, Master, I-" Hun began.
"Enough!" Saki snarled, holding his hand up. "Karai and I need to discuss how best to rid this organisation of dead weight!"
Hun and Stockman gasped as the door closed, then the elevator began to move upwards.
"Master, if I may?" Karai asked, getting Saki's attention. "This ongoing project of obtaining alien technology...costs are skyrocketing."
"I appreciate your concern Karai, but money will be meaningless, where I am going." Saki assured, touching the crate.
Karai stared at him, not knowing what her Father had planned to do with all the Triceraton technology.
