A/N: For those who've suggested me sending Cath to a post apocalypse world, I'm afraid not, since Donnie's sent to a world like that in 'Same as It Never Was', and I'd rather make sure both girls don't get sent to one not too similar to their brothers.

In New York City at night, all was quiet.
Donnie: The city has a life all its own, especially at night.
In April's shop, April was sweeping near the store window.
Sometimes it's quiet — too quiet.
April picks up a dustpan, then sweeps more dust onto it.
But you don't notice. Maybe you should.
April walks towards the back door with a bin full of dust.
Because in the...
April opens the back door and enters the back alley.
..darkness, when you're all alone, you never know what could be lurking around the next corner...
April walks towards a dumpster bin on the other side of the alley, then opens it up. She then pours the dust into the dumpster, as a cable lowers itself down behind her.
..or even at your own backdoor!
A shadowy figure lowers itself down, then touches the blub in the outside light above the door.
And you always think nothing bad is ever gonna happen to you...
April wipes some sweat off her, as the figure unscrews the blub, then April turns around.
..so you have to ask yourself...
April drops the bin, as another shadowy figure waves a baseball bat around, then charged at April.
"Ah!" she gasps.
.."Are you ready?"
April turns around and runs down the alley, but then stops and turns around.
Well, are you?
At April's shop, the six Turtles all stood on the edge of the roof, then jumped over and grabbed the edge of it. They then all began to jump down to the window ledges, until they all got onto the shop's sign, expect Raph who jumped onto the clock. He then jumped down and landed on the ground, then he ran to the door as Donnie and Cath landed on the ground.
Raph then leaned against the window near the door, as Leo and Elisa landed on the ground, then Leo got up and opened the door.
"April?" he called. "Anybody home?"
They all entered the shop and looked around, seeing no sign of April.
"That's odd. Where is she?" Elisa wondered.
"You got me, sis." Cath shrugged.
"AGHH!" came April's voice.
Donnie saw the back door open, telling him April was outside.
"Ah!" April panted. "NOOO! Uh!"
"April's in trouble!" Donnie gasped, bringing out his Bo.
He ran towards the door, then his siblings all brought out their weapons and followed him. Once out their door, they all got ready to fight - Donnie crouching down as he did - but all they saw April holding a whiffle bat, and a shadowy figure lying on the ground.
"Huh?" Cath muttered.
"I give!" the figure said, sounding familiar. "I give! I give!"
"Does he sound familiar?" Elisa asked.
"Sure does." Leo agreed.
He reached up and screwed in the blub for the light above the door, showing them the figure was Casey.
"Huh?" Leo muttered.
"Easy, April, it's only me." Casey said.
"Huh?" April muttered, lowering the bat. "Casey?"
Casey sat up as the Turtles put their weapons away - expect Leo as he'd already done that.
"What the heck are you doing?" April asked, as Donnie and Raph approached him. "That has to be the dumbest thing in the history of dumbest things you anybody could ever do? What were you thinking?"
Raph and Donnie helped Casey up.
"I'm thinking I'm glad that's just a whiffle bat." Casey said, before rubbing his head. "Sheesh."
"No. I mean, why would you do such a thing?" April asked, throwing the bat away as she turned around.
She turned around and walked towards the door.
"You asked me too, remember?" Casey asked, getting her to stop.
"I did not!" April snapped.
"Sure you did. You were bragging about your Ninja fighting skills..." Casey began, lifting his legs up one at a time, while waving his arms. "..and I said, I oughta sneak up on ya sometime and test how good you was..."
He held his left hand like a chopper, and his like a fist.
"..and you said, that sounded like an interesting idea." he finished, as April folded her arms.
"Um..." April said, putting her hands on her hips. "So, how are you guys doing? I was about to make some Hot Chocolate."
She turned around and walked towards the door, then stopped and turned to Casey and the Turtles.
"I can easily make enough for seven." she said.
"Hot Chocolate?" Mikey said.
"All right." Cath grinned.
"Now we're going somewhere." Raph said.
"Count me in." Leo said.
"I love that stuff." Elisa grinned.
"Sweet." Donnie said.
"Yeah." Mikey said.
He laughed as they all approached the door.
"Great. I love Hot Chocolate." Casey said, as he followed them.
April began counting off as the Turtles entered the shop, starting with Raph.
"One..." she said, as Elisa entered. "..two..."
Leo then entered.
"..three..."
Cath then entered, followed by Donnie.
"..four, five..."
Mikey then entered.
"..six...and seven."
She pointed at herself as Casey got to her, then she closed the door on him.
"Oh!" he groaned, hitting it. "Come on, April? You weren't that scared. You beat the crud out of me. Ah!"
He touched the door.
"April? Guys?" he called. "Geez. Everybody so sensitive around here."
He turned around and walked off in annoyance, kicking a car as he did.
In the apartment above the shop, Mikey and Leo sat on the couch, Mikey reading a comic while Leo had his hands behind his back. Raph and Elisa both sat on chairs near the windows, while Donnie and Cath sat on a puffy each on the carpet.
"Think Casey's okay out there?" Mikey asked.
Donnie's Shell-Cell began to beep.
"That's probably him now." Leo deduced.
"He's such a bonehead." Raph joked, as Donnie took his Shell-Cell from his belt.
"You got that right, bro." Elisa smirked.
"Um, hello?" Donnie said, answering.
He only got a loud noise on the other end, making him turn it off.
"Ah, it's not Casey." he said. "Sounds like somebody's trying to send a fax."
"But how'd they get your number?" Cath wondered.
"You got me." Donnie shrugged.
They both got off their puffies and walked towards the table.
April stood by the sink bench with a tray of seven cups.
"Oh! That Casey gets me so mad." she said, picking up the tray as she turned around.
She approached the table as Donnie and Cath both sat at it, then Raph and Elisa both approached it.
"What are you talking about, April?" Raph inquired, as Mikey put his comic down and got up. "You totally clobbered him."
"Well..." April said.
The Turtles - expect Donnie - all took their cups of Hot Chocolate from the tray.
"I just thought I was getting somewhere..." April said, handing Donnie his cup. "..in my training with Master Splinter."
She put the tray down on the table, then picked up her cup.
"But Casey caught me totally by surprise." she sighed. "I should've heard him coming."
The Turtles all stared at her, all but Leo and Elisa sitting at the table.
"You guys would have." April sighed.
"It takes a lot of practice." Donnie explained.
The others nodded.
"Master Splinter spent a lot of time training us to be aware of our surroundings at all times. After a while though, if you've studied hard enough, you get a sixth sense for it." Leo explained, pointing at his head.
"It took us years and years to master it, April." Elisa assured.
"Maybe you guys could help with my Ninja training then." April suggested, sitting down.
The boys all gasped as the girls turned to them, before they turned to each other.
"No way." Raph said, as his brothers shook their heads.
"Here we go." Cath muttered.
"Why not?" April asked, putting her cup down as she got up. "I'm a quick learner."
"No, April, it's not you." Donnie assured. "It's us."
"Last time we tried to play Sensei...Well, let's just say it didn't play out too well." Leo said.
"You mean, last time you boys tried." Elisa corrected. "Cath and I weren't stupid to try back then."
"Yeah, guys." Cath said. "We both knew we weren't old enough to try teaching yet."
"Come again?" April asked, confused.
"Well, we thought we could teach this kid." Raph explained, chuckling. "And we were just kids ourselves."
"One of the reasons Elisa and I knew we weren't ready." Cath frowned.
"Guys, that's no way to tell a story." Mikey said. "Here, let me do it."
"Oh, brother..." Elisa sighed, face-palming herself.
"It was a dark and stormy night, in a galaxy far, far away..." Mikey began, with a deep voice.
"Mikey!" Raph said.
"Uh, I mean...many moons ago, on a night much like this one..." Mikey corrected.
(Flashback)
In a sewer tunnel beneath the city, six five-year old Turtles ran down it, Leo and Mikey along the edges near the water, the rest in it.
"Yeah, let's go!" Raph whooped, as they laughed.
"..we were six young Turtle Tots facing the most horrible of dangerous of dangers..."
The Turtles came out of the shadows as Leo and Mikey jumped into the water.
Later, in the lair, the Turtles all sat in front of Master Splinter.
"Duh, duh, duh... the wrath of Master Splinter."
Splinter pointed at a map behind him with his walking stick.
Leo: We'd been warned. We knew what we were not suppose to be doing.
Splinter pointed at the map again.
Elisa: And back then, Master Splinter was pretty strict.
"Ah!" the Turtles gulped.
Later, the Turtles walked along a piece of wood like a balance beam, as Splinter watched them.
"Do not go to the surface." he instructed.
The Turtles turned around and walked back.
Later, they all ate a slice of Pizza while staring at Splinter, who held a cup in his hands.
"Never ever go up to the streets! It is far too dangerous!" he scowled.
He slammed a tea pot down on a table.
"Ah!" the Turtles yelped.
The Turtles soon walked along the wood again.
"Under no circumstances should you ever go above ground!" Splinter scowled, pointing his stick forward, making Leo fall off.
Splinter soon poured another cup of tea, as the Turtles ate another slice of pizza.
"If you ever think of going topside, just do not!" he scowled.
Soon, they all stood near a ladder leading to the surface, Splinter pointing at it with his walking stick.
"You had better hope I never catch you out of the sewers!" he scowled.
The Turtles all gulped and moved closer together.
April: So, what did you guys do?
One day, Raph lifted up a manhole cover slightly which was in an alley, before lowering it.
Leo: We went topside.
Raph, Mikey and Elisa all put their hands on the cover and lifted it up.
Donnie: When we finally got the lid off.
"No cutting in line!" Raph complained, as he and Mikey climbed out.
"Hey, watch it!" Elisa scowled, following them.
"Then move your big fat shells?" Mikey teased, as Leo, Cath and Donnie climbed out.
All six of them then looked around.
"It's amazing." Leo said. "All this open space."
"Man..." Raph said, as they walked down the alley. "..Master Splinter's been holding out on us."
"Well, he must have done that for a good reason." Cath reasoned.
"But up here, it's...it's..." Raph said.
"Beautiful." Donnie said.
Mikey: What we didn't know, was...
In the street, two young boys called Stevie and Arnie turned right down it and into another.
..just around the corner, was destiny.
The two boys stopped at the corner of the street, staring down it.
Or, actually it was this kid that needed help.
Both boys stared at a gang of eight kids playing street hockey down the street.
"Hey, come on! Take it on!" one said.
"It's Danny McDonough and his Wolfpack." Stevie said.
"Keep it..." one kid said.
One shot the puck towards the goal, scoring past the goalie.
"Man, those guys think they own the street." Arnie said. "How come they gotta play in front of my steps, Stevie?"
Two of the punks skated past Arnie's house, then Danny - who had green Mohawk hair - and two others skated past it.
"I'll help you." Stevie said, turning to Arnie, holding his fist up. "We'll stand up to them."
He turned to the Wolfpack, then gulped while turning back to Arnie.
"I'd like to, but they'd just beat the crud out of us." Arnie said. "You go on around and go home. I'll be okay."
"Be careful." Stevie said, patting Arnie's shoulder. "I'll see you tomorrow."
He walked off as they both waved at each other. Arnie then touched the collar of his shirt, before he walked on down the street towards his house. Once close to the steps however, Danny and his Wolfpack surrounded him.
"Hey, guys, here comes Arnie-dork." Danny joked. "You forgot to pay your toll yesterday."
He pushed Arnie slightly.
"This here's our street." Danny snarled.
"I don't want no trouble." Arnie said.
"Well, you got trouble." Danny smirked.
His gang all raised up their hockey sticks.
"Come on, guys!" one said.
"Yeah!" another said.
"Let's teach this crud a lesson!" a third snarled.
"You'll be sorry!" a fourth snarled.
Arnie turned to the ones behind him, as Danny and the others came closer to him.
"..now." one kid said.
"Pay for it!" another sneered.
"Come on, let's get this kid!" a third snarled.
"Yeah!" a fourth sneered. "Get him!"
Arnie looked around at them as they kept talking.
"Come on, take him on." one said.
Danny raised his hockey stick up, when Arnie pushed him and one of his friends away, before he ran down the street.
"Come on, leave me along!" he cried.
The Wolfpack all began to skate after him.
"I didn't do anything to you." Arnie cried.
In the alley, Raph stood on a pile of bags in a dumpster, as his siblings stared at him.
"I am Raphael, King of the Trash!" he declared.
The girls giggled as their brothers climbed up towards him on bins nearby. He then turned to Mikey and pushed him away.
"Whoa!" Mikey yelped.
He hit the ground on his shell as Raph turned and kicked Donnie away, when Leo came up behind him.
"AH!" Donnie yelped.
"Sorry, Raph." Leo smirked, putting his hands near Raph's leg, tripping him up. "But you're the trash, and I'm the king!"
"Very funny, bro." Cath laughed.
"All hail, Leo, King of the Trash Dock!" Mikey said.
Elisa laughed and nuggied his head.
"Hey!" he complained.
"You asked for this one, Mikey." Elisa teased.
"Guys, somebody's coming!" Donnie gasped.
They all turned to the end of the alley, and could hear the Wolfpack. They all quickly hid themselves under the dumpster, just as Arnie made it to the alley.
"Come on!" Danny snarled. "Let's get that guy!"
Arnie turned and ran down the alley.
"What did he do?" a kid snarled.
Arnie stopped at the end of the alley, then turned around to the Wolfpack, who chanted.
"Get him! Get him!"
Arnie ran forward slightly.
"Come on!" a kid said.
"Where'd he go?" another questioned.
"Come on!" Danny said.
"Oh, crud." Arnie gulped.
Danny and the Wolfpack all skated towards him.
"Poor little fella, he ran into a dead end." Danny smirked.
The Turtles all watched beneath the dumpster, as Danny and the Wolfpack approached Arnie.
"Talk about no honour." Elisa muttered.
"I know. Eight against one is so not fair." Cath agreed quietly.
Arnie backed away as the Wolfpack all approached him, all laughing. The Turtles watched in horror as they all them beat Arnie up.
"AGHHH!" Arnie cried.
The girls closed their eyes, not baring to watch, as their brothers flinched slightly.
"Somebody oughta help that kid." Leo hissed.
"Yeah. Finally, some real action." Raph said, getting up eagerly.
"Raph, wait!" Elisa said, touching his arm. "It's too risky."
"She's right." Donnie agreed. "Remember, we can't be seen."
Danny and three of his friends kept hitting Arnie with their hockey sticks, while the other four all watched.
"Uh!" he moaned.
Raph and Elisa then tossed the manhole cover towards the others, hitting one in the back of the head.
"OW!" he yelled.
The others turned to him, then he pushed one away.
"Hey, man, what's your deal?!" he accused.
Leo then threw a garbage bag up into the air, which then hit the third in the back.
"Ow!" he yelped, before turning around. "Hey, cut it out!"
Cath then tossed a small pipe at them, hitting the fourth in the back of the knees.
"OW!" he yelped.
He rubbed the back of his knees and turned around.
"Who did that?!" he demanded.
Mikey then threw a piece of rope at the ones near Arnie, wrapping around ones leg near Danny.
"AGHH!" he yelped.
He fell slightly and touched Danny's shoulder.
"Hey, watch it!" Danny snarled, pushing him slightly.
The Wolfpack all turned to Arnie, then surrounded him and sniggered.
"Danny, lunch time!" Danny's Mother called, getting the Wolfpack to turn around.
They all then turned back to Arnie.
"Next time, pay your toll if..." Danny warned, pointing at Arnie.
"Danny McDonough!" his Mother called.
"..you wanna use the street." Danny snarled. "Come on, we're outta here."
He and his Wolfpack all turned around and skated off.
"Where are you, boy?!" his Mother called.
Mikey: That's when young Master Leo convinced us help the kid out.
Arnie got up to his feet and rubbed his head.
Donnie: To train him, so he wouldn't need green guardian angels all the time.
Elisa: Well, you guys did, but not me and Cath.
Arnie walked down the alley.
Cath: Yeah. For once, I thought I was smarter than Donnie, which was rare.
The Turtles all stared at Leo, as he put on some old clothes, a jacket, followed by a cap.
Leo: We thought we already knew everything there was to know about Ninjutsu, so how hard could teaching be.
He turned to his younger siblings while straightening the jacket.
Raph: And it had to be better than being stuck in the sewers doing nothing.
Leo lowered the cap to hide his face.
Elisa: You boys thought so, but not us girls. We thought and knew we weren't ready for this.
"Okay, you guys know the plan. We'll each take turns teaching the kid what we know." Leo explained. "Agreed?"
"Agreed." his brothers said, saluting.
"But remember, guys, we can't let Master Splinter know what we're up too." Donnie said.
Leo nodded.
"Unless he finds out by himself." Cath scoffed.
The boys all turned to their sisters.
"Don't you girls wanna help that boy?" Leo asked.
"Well, yeah, but unlike you boys, I don't think I'm ready to be teaching." Cath reasoned.
"Neither do I." Elisa said. "We're too young to be trying that."
"Fine, suit yourself." Leo said. "But at least don't tell Master Splinter about this?"
The girls turned to the other brothers.
"Okay, fine." Cath said. "But don't say we didn't warn you."
Leo then turned and walked away.
Nearby, Arnie was touching his tooth.
"OH!" he moaned. "OH!"
"Hey, kid!"
He turned around as Leo came towards him.
"I saw what happened earlier." Leo said. "You know, you really shouldn't let those bullies push you around like that.
"Ah, it's no biggy." Arnie said, rubbing his arm. "I'll heal."
"It is a big deal." Leo reasoned. "It's a matter of honour. You can't surrender your honour so easily. This street belongs to everybody."
"Not for guys like you and me." Arnie said, rubbing his arm. "We're too small."
He turned and rubbed both his arms.
"No!" Leo argued, getting his attention. "Those guys are small because they have no heart and no honour. My Sensei... My Teacher, always taught me that true strength comes from within."
"Yeah, maybe." Arnie said. "But how do you get it on the outside?"
"You train." Leo answered, touching his shoulder. "Train in the art of self-defence."
Arnie backed away as he did a fight pose.
"Whoa." Arnie said.
Leo did a back flip, then turned to Arnie.
"I can help you." he said. "Teach you."
Arnie smiled, happy for the help.
Later, both Leo and Arnie sat on a rooftop in a mediating position, Arnie struggling to sit right.
"First of all, you have to be serious about wanting to change things." Leo explained, spreading his arms around as Arnie fell over. "You have to feel the power."
Arnie tried to sit in the right position again, but his legs wouldn't do it.
"Connect with the power." Leo said. "Find your inner core. Your honour, your true heart."
Arnie pulled on his right leg, trying to sit in the right position.
"Have you found it yet?" Leo asked.
"Uh, ah... I don't think so." he said, putting his hands together. "Uh, little dude, I can't feel my legs."
He touched them both.
"That's a good thing. Stay focused, and breath,, and you'll find your true strength." Leo instructed.
On a roof nearby, both Cath and Elisa were watching what was happening.
Donnie: Wait, you girls were watching us?
Cath and Elisa turned to each other and shook their heads slightly.
Elisa: Well, we were curious to see how you were doing. And we could tell what your faults were in trying to help that kid.
"Seems to going well." Elisa noted.
"For now at least." Cath agreed. "We better get back before the others notice we're missing."
Elisa nodded, before they both turned and ran off.
Down in the lair, Donnie and Mikey were sparring together, as Splinter watched them.
Donnie sent a punch at Mikey, who dodged and sent one at him, who dodged it. Mikey then blocked a kick from Donnie with his elbow, then ducked under another, then he ran around Donnie, who ran at him, before they turned to each other. Mikey then jumped back as Donnie tried to kick him, then he tried to kick Donnie, but he backed away.
"Excellent, Michelangelo." Splinter commented. "Donatello, lift your leg higher for the kick."
Donnie tried to kick Mikey, but missed as he jumped up and over him, then he spun around and tackled Donnie.
"AH!" Donnie yelped.
He hit the floor on his shell near Splinter.
"Sorry, Master Splinter." he said, rubbing his head.
He turned onto his chest as Splinter held his hand out.
"That is enough for now." Splinter said. "You may rest, my son."
He turned to a couch in front of a TV, where Raph said, along with a dummy of Leo.
"It is Leonardo's turn to train." Splinter said.
Both girls came into the lair unnoticed, then approached the others, just as Raph turned to Splinter.
"Uh, oh, boy." Raph gulped, turning to the dummy.
"Come, Leonardo." Splinter said, as Raph turned to him.
Both girls turned to each other.
"For their sake, Leo better get back here quick." Cath whispered.
Elisa nodded.
Splinter began to walk forward, when Mikey and Donnie grabbed his arms.
"But, Master Splinter, we wanna keep practicing." Mikey said.
"But it is Leonardo's turn." Splinter insisted.
"Leo won't mind, will you, Leonardo?" Mikey said.
"Uh, wave if it's okay, Leonardo?" Donnie said.
Raph waved the dummy's hand up.
"See, Leo doesn't mind." Mikey said.
"Hmm?" Splinter frowned.
"Uh-oh." Elisa muttered. "I think he suspects something."
Splinter began to walk towards the couch.
"Uh..." Mikey said.
He and Donnie turned to each other worriedly, before they pretended to grapple each other.
"Uh, is this right, Master Splinter?" Mikey asked.
They moved towards three bunk-beds, which was where they slept when they were that age.
Donnie then jumped to kick Mikey, who ducked.
"What about this leaping over..." Donnie asked, back flipping to avoid a tackle from Mikey. "..the leg sweep?"
Splinter ignored him and kept approaching the couch.
"I think I'm getting better." Donnie said.
"I said, enough practice!" Splinter scowled, turning to them.
Both girls turned to each other, then back to Splinter, as he approached the couch.
"Leonardo? Leonardo?!" he said.
"We knew they'd get caught." Elisa muttered.
"Yep." Cath agreed quietly.
Mikey tried to punch Donnie, who jumped over him, before they turned to their Father.
"This is it." Mikey gulped. "It's all over. We are so cooked."
Splinter reached towards the dummy once near the couch.
"Leonardo?!" he said.
"AH!" Donnie and Mikey yelped, Donnie covering his eyes, Mikey his mouth.
Splinter's hand however, touched Leo, having just made it back in time unnoticed.
"Yes, Master Splinter." he said, turning to him.
Donnie and Mikey turned to each other, while Raph turned to Leo, as Splinter looked confused slightly.
"It is time for your practice." he said.
"Oh, okay." Leo said, as Splinter turned around and walked off slightly. "Coming, Sensei."
Splinter turned slightly to his eldest sons, who held their thumbs up.
"Sorry, I didn't answer earlier." Leo said, getting up as Splinter walked off.
He back flipped over the couch and landed near Splinter, Donnie and Mikey.
"Oh, they lucked out." Cath said.
"Uh-huh." Elisa agreed, as Splinter turned to Leo.
"I kinda dozed off their for a moment." Leo lied, rubbing his eye.
He pretended to yawn, then he tried to hit Splinter, but missed as he dodged, then he spun around and did a kick. He then ran forward and did some punches, while Mikey sneaked past Donnie, and then ran off.
Back on the rooftop, Arnie was sitting in the position Leo had instructed him to, while Mikey was behind a triangle shaped window, putting on the outfit.
"Now the student has become the master." he smirked, putting the cap on.
He laughed as he walked towards Arnie.
"Ready for more learning?" he asked.
"Well, I've been trying to be serious and breath and stuff to find my inner strength like you said, but...kinda makes my heard hurt." Arnie said, opening his eyes, before touching his head. "And I still can't feel my legs."
He touched his legs.
"What, are you kidding me?" Mikey asked. "Get up, get up?"
He approached Arnie and helped him up.
"Forget all that baloney." he said, changing the topic. "The first and most important lesson is this: you need the right attitude."
Arnie looked confused, not knowing it wasn't the same kid.
"And, part of having a winning attitude, is a battle cry." Mikey explained.
He turned around and held his fist up.
"A heroic superhero kinda battle cry." he said, before punching the air. "Like in the comic books."
Arnie blinked, completely confused.
"I got it!" Mikey said. "Goro-goro-sama."
He turned to Arnie, who put his hand on his head.
"Go-ro-ro-goro, what?" Arnie questioned.
"Goro-goro-sama." Mikey said. "It means Mr. Thunder. Goro-goro-sama. It's prefect for you."
He pointed at Arnie, who stared at him, before he turned and held his muscles up.
"If you yell out 'Goro-goro-sama', while charging into battle..." Mikey explained.
He jumped forward and sent a kick in the air, before he walked back over, punching the air repeatedly.
"..your foes will flee like cowards before you."
He dived to his right, then began to approach Arnie, still looking confused.
"Oooh. I really wanna see that." Mikey grinned, before grabbing Arnie's hand. "Come on, let's try it."
"Oh! They're just gonna cream me again." Arnie sighed, as Mikey dragged him off.
Later, they both walked down towards the edge of the alley, Arnie not sure about attacking the Wolfpack yet.
"Not with your cool new heroic battle cry." Mikey assured.
He pushed Arnie out of the alley and into the street, while the Wolfpack was playing hockey.
"Remember, 'Goro-goro-sama'. Now go get them." Mikey said.
Arnie stared at the Wolfpack nervously, then held his fists up and walked towards them.
"Hey!" some of the gang said. "Come on!"
Arnie approached the end of the street and stared at them.
"Goro-goo-boola-ama!" he chanted, getting the gang's attention.
"Ah." Danny smirked.
The gang all skated towards him.
"Come on, guys. Let's get him!" one said.
"Let's go!" another said.
"Come on, you guys, let's circle him." Danny smirked.
Mikey flinched and turned away as the Wolfpack began to beat Arnie up.
"Goo-goolu-boolu-ama!" Arnie chanted.
Mikey covered his eyes as the Wolfpack beat him up heard, then lowered them to peek at the gang.
"AH! AHH!" Arnie moaned.
"Maybe I didn't give him the right name." Mikey deduced.
"Like that?!" Danny snarled.
Later, on the rooftop, Mikey began taking the outfit off, as Donnie stared at him.
"How's it going?" Donnie asked.
"Um...great." Mikey lied.
"Good, because I got something really special planned for him." Donnie said, as Mikey gave him the cap, which he put on. "He's gonna love it."
A few minutes later, Donnie and Arnie both sat on a small box around a bigger one, with a chessboard on it, Donnie being black, Arnie white.
"It's important to think your actions through." Donnie explained. "It's all like a game of chess."
He picked a Black Castle and held it up.
"You have to be thinking three or four moves ahead of your adversary - planning, knowing what's coming." he explained.
"Uh..." Arnie said.
He thought long and hard about where to move, as Donnie patted the table waiting.
"Uh..." Arnie muttered.
About half-an-hour later, Arnie still hadn't moved, which had made Donnie fall asleep on the table, before a bird landed on his cap. Donnie lifted his head up and shook it, making the bird fly away.
"Well, it might take a little more time, I guess." he said, resting his head on his hand. "Uh, I'll be right back."
He got up and walked off, as Arnie stared at him, then back to the chessboard.
"Hmm?" Arnie muttered.
Donnie walked towards the roof entrance, then he ran off towards Raph, who stood by the edge of the rooftop. He gave Raph the outfit, then took the cap off and ran off.
"Good luck." he said, throwing it.
It landed on Raph's head, who then put on the outfit. He then ran over to Arnie, then sat down opposite him.
"I've been studying the board like you said, and I still don't get it." Arnie said, shaking his head, before picking up a White Knight. "I like the horsy though. I'm trying to think it through, but...I don't know."
"Listen, pal, the first and most important lesson is: Never think." Raph said, contradicting Donnie's statement. "Never! Just act and react, and always attack!"
Arnie touched his head, completely confused as all four boy Turtles have given him different advice.
"I sure wish you'd make up your mind." he said. "Be serious, use a battle cry, think it through, never think? I don't get it."
"What you need is a weapon." Raph said. "It's all about the weapons. We gotta find you some kind of weapon."
They both looked around for something to use, but only saw the chess pieces on the board.
Nearby, Cath and Elisa were watching on another rooftop, both shaking their heads, having now watched all but Mikey's teaching.
"They're never gonna teach him." Cath sighed.
"Yeah, since they all have different beliefs and ways of thinking." Elisa agreed. "They really should've planned this out first. They're doing more harm than good."
"Come on, let's go." Cath said.
They both turned and ran off.
Later, Raph and Arnie had set up a bunch of cans against a roof edge, then they both walked along the roof with the chess pieces, before they turned to the cans. Raph held up and threw the White Queen, a White Knight, a Black Pawn, a Black Bishop, and a Black Castle at the cans, hitting five of them, knocking it down.
"Ha." Raph grinned.
Arnie gasped, before Raph held his thumb up.
"You try." Raph said.
"Um, okay." Arnie said, holding up a Black Pawn.
He threw it at the remaining cans, along with the White Bishops, the White King, and a Black Knight, but they all hit the wall beneath the cans, ricocheting them back towards him and Raph.
"Agh!" they yelped, turning away slightly, as the pieces hit their arms.
"Hmm? Maybe you just need a better target." Raph said. "Let's see how you do in combat?"
Later, Raph and Casey both walked down the alley, then Arnie stared at the Wolfpack down the street, who were once again, playing hockey.
"Now remember; focus on your weapons. It's all about the weapons." Raph explained.
Arnie looked at the Chess pieces he held, thinking slightly.
"Hey, come on." a kid said.
"Give it here, Guy." Danny said, taking the puck.
"Come on!" a kid said.
"Slick..." another said.
Arnie stared at them as they chatted to themselves.
"Let's see how you do it!" Danny dared.
Arnie held up the chess pieces, then threw them at the Wolfpack, but they all hit the road near them.
"Huh?" the gang muttered, turning around.
"Get him!" one said.
They all skated towards Arnie, then began to beat him up, as Raph flinched while watching.
"Come here, you little brat!" Danny snarled.
"Come here!" a kid said.
Raph turned away from the fight, unable to watch.
"Maybe we need to work on the kid's aim a little." he said, before turning back to the fight. "Or find him a different weapon."
"OW!" Arnie cried.
Meanwhile, in the lair, Splinter was pacing in front of the other five Turtles, the girls having gotten back unnoticed a few minutes ago.
"Now, I wish for you to take what you have learned, and use it in pairs." he instructed, turning to his children. "Michelangelo and Leonardo. Elisabetta and Catharina. Donatello and Raphael."
He then noticed Raph was missing, making his eyebrows raise up.
"Where is Raphael?" he asked.
The boys all looked nervous, while the girls kept a straight face.
"Uh... He's in the shower." Donnie lied, pointing behind him.
"Yeah. Yeah, he's in the shower." Mikey said.
"..in the shower." Leo said.
Splinter eyed them all.
"You four boys have been acting very strangely of late." Splinter noted. "And you two girls have been away from the lair for quite a while."
Elisa and Cath both blushed, not expecting Splinter to know they've been away from the lair to spy on their brothers - expect Mikey.
"Uh..." Cath blushed.
"We've been looking through the sewers." Elisa lied. "Trying to find some stuff for the lair."
"Yeah, we just haven't had much luck, Sensei." Cath assured.
"Oh..." Splinter said. "Well, next time, let me know first."
"Yes, Sensei." both girls said.
Mikey: I really thought you girls were telling the truth back there.
Splinter turned to Leo, Donnie and Mikey.
Cath: Well, it was better than your lie.
"Well, boys?" Splinter inquired.
The boys looked nervous, before Leo turned around.
"Uh, Raphael, time to get out of the shower!" Leo called.
He turned and ran off, followed by Mikey and Donnie, both blushing. Splinter blinked at them, as the girls turned to each other.
"Our excuse was much more reasonable." Cath whispered.
"Yep." Elisa nodded.
Outside the lair, Raph was walking towards the front door, just as Leo ran out of it.
"Raphael!" he said.
Raph stopped as Donnie and Mikey came out of the lair, as Leo ran off.
"Raphie, hold still?" Mikey asked, touching his shoulder.
Raph stood still, as Leo came up behind him, and dunked a bucket of water on his head.
"Ah!" Raph yelped.
"There." Leo said.
"What was that for?" Raph sneered, annoyed.
"You just got out of the shower." Leo hissed.
"AHH!" Raph growled.
They all turned around and saw Splinter standing in the doorway.
"I just got out of the shower, Sensei." Raph said, seeing why Leo poured the water on him.
All four boys smiled.
"Hmm? I can see that." Splinter said, before folding his arms. "Do you always shower with your mask on?"
"Uh, yeah." Raph said. "It's a great way to keep it clean."
Splinter eyed them all, seeing something was up.
"Come, let us resume your training." he said, turning around.
That night, Leo - in the disguise - and Arnie stood near the alley, as the Wolfpack played hockey down the street.
"Okay, now it's time to try out what you've learned." Leo explained. "To face your enemies."
"But you already made me face 'em twice, and they creamed me both times." Arnie recalled.
"Um, I did?" Leo questioned.
He put his hand on his chin, not knowing his brothers had all tried teaching Arnie differently, before getting behind him.
"Well, just try it again." he said, pushing him on. "Using everything you've learned."
Arnie walked off, as Raph, Donnie and Mikey all peeked out behind the alley.
"So, do you think he learned anything?" Mikey asked.
"I hope so." Leo said. "I mean, you taught him basic self-defence, right Mikey? How to punch and kick. And I covered inner strength."
"I didn't teach him any fighting skills." Mikey said. "I thought Raph was gonna."
"I didn't." Raph swore, shaking his head. "Donnie, did you?"
"Oh, shell!" Donnie gasped.
"Go-sumo-gala!" Arnie yelled.
All four boys flinched as the Wolfpack beat up Arnie again, before opening their eyes.
"I think the girls were right; we aren't ready for this." Donnie gulped. "And I'm meant to be the smart one, not them."
"Well, Cathy is the second smartest." Raph reasoned. "But you're right about Ellie."
"Okay... We're gonna start over and prove them wrong, but this time with the real basics." Leo decided.
"Right, or as Master Splinter would say, 'The foundation of any house must start strong and...'" Mikey quoted.
He stopped as Splinter showed up near them all.
"AGHHHH!" he screamed.
The other boys turned to Splinter, who looked very angry.
"Master Splinter?!" they gasped.
Splinter stared at them all, waiting for an explanation.
"Um, Master Splinter, we can explain." Leo reasoned.
"We've been teaching." Donnie explained.
"Like you." Mikey added. "But not as good as you."
"You know, try to follow in your footsteps." Leo said.
"There's this kid, and, uh..." Raph began.
"Enough! Home, now!" Splinter ordered, pointing at a manhole cover.
"But, the kid?" Raph said.
"We can't just abandon him." Mikey said, as Raph nodded.
"You are not ready to teach!" Splinter scowled. "You could do more damage than good. The boy must find his own path, as you must find yours. Now come, we are going home."
The four Turtles lowered their heads shamefully.
"I'm just glad my daughters haven't been involved in this." Splinter muttered.
He turned around and walked away, then his sons followed him.
"You think the girls ratted on us?" Raph whispered.
"I doubt it." Donnie replied quietly. "It's not like Cath."
"Or Elisa." Leo agreed quietly.
(Flashback ends)
April and the Turtles all laughed.
"Oh, man, was Splinter angry." Mikey said.
"I remember him coming back angrier than I've ever seen him." Elisa recalled.
"He must've made us boys practice for 70 hours straight." Leo said.
"I think he wanted to make sure we were so tired, we wouldn't be able to go topside." Donnie reasoned.
"Did you two really rat on your brothers?" April asked the girls.
"No way." Cath assured.
"Nah. Splinter got suspicious and decided to investigate." Elisa explained. "But because of that, we couldn't leave the lair to spy on the boys."
"I still can't believe you spied on us." Leo said.
"Well, it proved you guys weren't ready for teaching." Elisa reasoned.
"So, whatever happened to this kid?" April asked.
Elisa and Cath turned to their brothers, who turned to each other.
"You know, I don't know." Leo said honestly.
"None of us saw him again." Cath said. "He's probably grown up by now."
(Flashback)
Arnie walked down a street towards his home sadly.
"I'll just have to tell that kid in the red hat the training isn't working." he muttered. "Guess I just don't have what it takes."
"Hey, geek-boy!" came a familiar voice.
Arnie stopped and turned, seeing the Wolfpack ganging up on Stevie.
"Doing a little reading?" Danny sneered, holding up a 'Lord of the Rings' book. "Oh, you gonna cry? Oh, look, he's gonna cry?"
"Give it back?!" Stevie cried, as Danny held the book up.
"Stevie?" Arnie gasped.
He gritted his teeth angrily, remembering what the boy Turtles had taught him.
"What are you gonna do about it?" Danny smirked.
"AGHH!" Arnie yelled.
The Wolfpack and Stevie all turned to him, as he charged at them all, shocking Danny slightly, before Arnie punched him in the jaw.
"OOHH!" Danny moaned.
He dropped the book and fell onto the road, as his gang watched in shock.
"Get him!" one yelled.
"Yeah!" more said.
"Come on!" another said.
Two of the gang skated towards Arnie.
"Right!" a third said.
"Come on!" a fourth said.
Arnie ducked as one tried to hit him with his hockey stick, making him hit he second in the belly.
"UH!" the punk moaned.
He fell to his knees, with his arms around his belly.
The first punk turned to him, before Arnie grabbed his hockey stick, then elbowed him in the chest, and then whacked him in the jaw.
"AH!" the punk moaned.
He fell onto his back out cold.
Arnie glared at him, as Danny got up behind him, then tried to whack him with his hockey stick, but Arnie turned around and blocked it with his own.
"AH!" Danny grunted.
He glared at Arnie, then tried to hit him again, but he blocked it, then pushed him back slightly. Danny then tried to hit Arnie four more times, but he blocked them all, moving around slightly after the second, then he knocked Danny's stick out of his hand, and then tripped him up with his own.
"UH!" Danny moaned, hititng the ground.
His gang all watched horrified, before they turned and skated off.
"Whoa!" one said.
"Come on, let's go!" another said.
"Let's get outta here!" a third said.
"Come on, let's get outta here!" a fourth said.
They turned left and skated into an alley.
Danny pulled himself up and stared at Arnie, who glared at him, before he got up and skated after his gang.
"That's right!" Arnie yelled, pointing his stick at Danny. "You better run! You bullies better watch it, 'cause Arnold Casey Jones ain't letting you push nobody around no more! Goro-goro... Goongala! Goongala! Goongala!"
"Wow." Stevie said, impressed.
Arnie picked up Stevie's book, then handed it to him.
"Come on, Steve." he said, wrapping his arm around Steve. "I'll walk ya home."
They both then walked down the street towards Stevie's home.
A/N: I didn't have Cath and Elisa trying to teach Casey anything because I had a feeling he'd know it wasn't the same kid, since they sound different from their brothers.
