A/N: Please read and review?
Up in space, the planets began to align with the Sun.
High Mage: For thousands of years, we have awaited this day: the complete planetary alignment of our solar system.
A bunch of crystals began to shine and echo on Pluto. It then lit up, sending a beam down the towards the other planets.
And with these celestial events...
The beam shoots down towards Earth, then down towards New York City.
..the spark of power within...
The light hit a city street, then went down towards the Underground City.
..the long dormant crystals has been renewed.
The light hit the Crystal Moon over the city, shining it brightly over the city.
There are those who...
A beam shoots out from the Crystal Moon towards a crystal inside a place with a similar outline to the city.
..fear this alignment...
The crystal lights up, then fires beams in all directions.
..will provoke untold disasters upon the Earth.
A bunch of crystals light up in the walls of a room, before a door opens up, then two beams shoot through it.
Yet it is not the...
The beams hit a crystal in a room, which then sent numerous beams towards frozen statues all around the room.
..planetary alignment the humans race should fear; it is what the alignment has awakened.
One of the statues, was the supposed Sole-Survivor of the city, which the Turtles had met over a year ago, whose eyes lit up.
In the lair, Donnie was explaining to his siblings about the upcoming planet alignment he'd heard about, using a grapefruit for the Sun, and a bunch of doughnuts for the planets, which he'd put on a table.
"It's really quite simple to understand." he assured. "The longitudinal span of the other eight planets, the Moon and the Sun, collimate within a geocentric sector of 14 degrees, to form a grand planetary alignment with Earth."
His siblings all stared at him, expect Mikey, as he bent down.
"Say this grapefruit is the Sun, right." Donnie said, touching it. "And the Earth is the third doughnut from the..."
He looked at the doughnuts, and saw the third one away from the grapefruit was missing.
"Hey, what happened to Earth?" he questioned.
The Turtles all turned to Mikey, who was munching the said doughnut in his mouth.
"What?" Mikey asked, his mouth full.
"Shell-for-brains!" Raph smirked, punching Mikey's shell.
"Ah!" Mikey yelped.
"You and your stomach!" Elisa snarled, folding her arms.
"But Don, none of this should have an effect on the Earth, right?" Leo asked hopefully.
"Yeah. Astronomically speaking, the planets are just too far apart to exhibit any gravitational pull." Donnie explained.
The lair began to shake, making all six Turtles wobble.
"Ah!" they yelped.
The shaking then stopped.
"And that was just a random Earthquake, right?" Mikey asked hopefully.
The lair shook again, this time knocking them all down.
"Oh! Right?!" Mikey panicked.
"I...I don't think that was." Cath said.
Leo picked up the remote as he got up.
"Maybe there's something in the news about it." he reasoned.
He turned on the TVs, as his younger siblings got up, before Channel 4 news popped on, showing a seismograph going crazy.
"A live feed from the university seismograph, rating in at 7.8 on the rector scale." the newsman reported.
The screen on its left showed a worldwide map from Channel 11 news, with the words 'Eyewitness Exclusive' on.
"Closet estimates, put the apocentre 1000 miles south of Greenland." said the newsman.
The large long screen showed a map of the ocean, with part of the ocean floor rising quickly, the words 'Sea Level Breach' on, with a flashing line above the waterline.
"Scientists believe, that with the current shifting of tectonic plates, we may be witnessing the birth of a new island, or even a subcontinent." the newsman reported, as the map showed the ocean floor rising up from the sea.
All the screens then showed a newsman in a city, with floods happening all around him, the words 'Crisis watch' in the corner.
"With displacement of water so massive, it's dangerous raising the sea level." he explained.
The screen showed a strong wind over a city, blowing on trees and buildings.
"Unstable temperatures have prompted violent thunderstorms..." the newsman explained, as a thunderstorm went over the city. "..due to reach the Eastern seaboard within the hour."
"It doesn't make any sense." Donnie said, confused, putting his hand on his chin. "There must be something else at work here?"
"The question is; who and how?" Cath realized.
The lair began to shake again.
"Ah!" the Turtles yelped, wobbling.
"I told you we should've listen to that guy carrying the 'End is near' sign!" Mikey said.
"..zones, including power outages-" the newsman said.
The power in the lair all shorted out, cutting him off.
"No way?!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Whoa!" Elisa gasped.
"Oh, great!" Raph groaned.
"Think the whole city is out?" Leo asked.
"It's...possible." Cath said.
Donnie turned to his lab, as a crystal from the Underground city began to echo and glow.
"Huh?" he muttered. "Hey, guys, check it out?"
"What is it?" Cath asked, turning to him.
"Come on." Donnie said.
All six Turtles approached Donnie's lab, then he picked up the crystal, which lay on his work table.
"Impossible?" he questioned, holding it up. "The crystal was completely burnt out."
"It's not now." Leo noted.
"It seems to be supercharged." Donnie noted.
"How?" Raph wondered.
"Yeah? I mean, it hasn't worked in months." Cath recalled.
"I'm not sure." Donnie said, turning to them. "It might have something to do with the alignment."
A munching noise made the five older Turtles turn to Mikey, who was eating another doughnut - which he'd snatched from the table.
"What? It's Pluto." Mikey said, pointing his his mouth. "Who cares about Pluto."
"Ah!" Elisa moaned, face-palming herself.
"Or, it might have something to do with the Crystal Moon in the Underground City." Donnie said.
The lair shook again, making the Turtles flinch.
"Ah!" they yelped.
"We'd better check it out." Leo and Donnie decided.
"Agreed." the girls said.
Later, all six Turtles were in the Turtle Tunneller, as lights came on and shined on it from above.
"Remember, Donnie? You promised I could drive." Mikey smirked.
The Tunneller's lights came on, then it powered up.
"Alright, just try not to grind the gears?" Donnie asked.
Mikey drove the Tunneller off and down towards a tunnel.
"I'll watch him, Don." Elisa promised, sitting beside Mikey. "I'll make sure he doesn't scratch it."
"Hey!" Mikey complained.
He began to grind the gears as he kept on driving, making his older siblings turn to him.
"Sorry." he said.
He drove the Tunneller down a tunnel, the same one they knew led to the Underground City, which still had the footprints left from one of their formal mutated friends.
"I'd suggest everyone strap in." Donnie suggested.
Mikey turned the Tunneller left and drove it down the tunnel.
"We've dug out all these tunnels already, remember?" Donnie recalled.
"Yeah, how could we forget?" Cath asked sarcastically.
The Tunneller then went down a waterfall.
"AGHH!" the Turtles yelled.
They all clamed down as Mikey began to move the Tunneller down steadily, making them all laugh.
"Yay!" Leo whooped.
"Whoo!" Elisa whooped.
The Tunneller then went down a rocky slope, then Mikey turned it left and down another tunnel. He then raced it through the abandoned Foot Genetics Lab, racing it quickly so it could then jump over the ruined bridge on the other side.
It soon raced through the area with the familiar hexagon shaped door, skidding slightly before it shot down it.
"Hit the brakes?!" Donnie asked. "Hit the brakes?!"
Mikey raced the Tunneller to the other side, coming into the Underground City, then it jumped over the ledge, and landed in the pool of lava.
"AH!" the Turtles yelped, as it rose up from the lava.
Mikey raced the Tunneller off the lava and onto the ground surface near it. He then stopped the Tunneller, then opened its door, then the Turtles all got out of it - expect Raph.
"Um, what's wrong with this picture?" Leo asked.
They all stared at the Underground City, but saw this time, it was inhabited, with people riding on Hover Scooters, as well as creatures flying through the air, and the Crystal Moon shining over the city.
"Whoa!" they gasped.
"This sure ain't the way we left it." Raph recalled, joining the others.
"Yeah, this joint is jumping." Mikey noted, seeing people on a bridge - all dressed like the Entity.
"So much for that creep being the last of his people!" Elisa snarled.
"I wonder what other lies he told us?" Cath huffed, folding her arms.
"It's as if the entire city has somehow come back to life." Leo noted. "And, d'you hear that?"
He heard some of the people chanting in a nearby area with a similar outline to the city.
"Some kind of chanting." Leo said.
The people chanted in a weird language, before turning to English, all staring at a crystal ball, which showed the Earth shooting beams from their eyes.
"Rise, Olinthous, rise!" they chanted. "Hear me?"
They chanted in the weird language, as one turned around and walked away. He then stopped and held up the crystal, revealing himself to be the Entity, then saw the Turtles in the crystal.
"So, they have returned?" he noted.
He began to walk off, then soon walked along a bridge leading towards the city, before he stopped and stared at the Turtles down below.
"You think there's a connection between what's happening down here and what's going on up top?" Raph asked, as they walked up some steps.
"Given what we've seen, I wouldn't be surprised." Elisa admitted.
"And it makes sense." Cath added.
"Well, let's find out." Leo said.
The Entity brought out six red small crystals from his cloak, then threw them down towards the lava. They landed near it, then the lava moved towards them, making them shine.
The Turtles kept walking through the city, when they spotted two people on a Hover Scooter, moving towards them.
"Uh, excuse me?" Donnie asked. "Could you please tell us..?"
The man driving the scooter turned it right and raced it off, sending dust into the air.
"Hey?!" Donnie complained.
"It's like they don't even see us." Raph noted.
"Or hear us." Elisa added.
"They see and hear us, they just don't care." Leo deduced.
"Why?" Cath wondered.
"AH!" Mikey yelped.
"Not now, Mikey?" Elisa frowned, turning to him.
"Um...Ellie." Cath gulped.
Elisa turned around as three lava creatures came out of the wall in front of them.
"Well, it looks like somebody cares." Mikey said.
The Turtles turned around as another three lava creatures rose up behind them.
All six lava monsters then surrounded the Turtles and slowly approached them.
"What are these things?" Leo questioned.
"I don't know, but from the looks of them, I'd say they're not the welcoming wagon." Mikey gulped.
"And I don't think we're welcome here." Cath added nervously.
"Any suggestions?" Donnie asked.
"Yeah. Let's beat the magma outta them!" Raph smirked.
"I had a feeling you were gonna say that." Elisa grinned.
They all ran towards one of the lava monsters each, then they all rolled forward between the lava monsters legs as they tried to grab them. They both out their weapons and turned to the lava monsters, whose bodies then retracted themselves, facing them without turning around.
"Okay, I didn't see that coming." Cath gulped.
Mikey turned and ran off, as one of the lava monsters tried to punch him, but missed as he jumped up, and landed on a balcony.
"Good plan, Raph!" Mikey said sarcastically, spinning his Nunchucks.
He jumped off the balcony and somersaulted over the lava monster, which punched the balcony, then he landed crouched down.
"Except, how do we fight monsters made out of lava?!" Mikey panicked, getting up and turning around.
Leo dodged a punch from one nearby, while Elisa back flipped to avoid a punch from another, then Mikey jumped up as the one in front of him tried to punch him.
"AHH!" he screamed, as its fist hit the ground.
Raph ran along a balcony towards one of the monsters.
"Like this!" he yelled, jumping up as it punched the balcony.
He then tossed both his Sais at it, but it fired a ball of lava from its hand, hitting both Sais. It then shot towards Raph, who then ducked as it hit the wall behind him, before it fell to the floor.
"That thing slagged my blade!" Raph snarled, pointing at the monster.
He growled as he marched forward, ducking under another lava ball.
"Raph, wait?!" Leo called.
"Cool it, Raph?!" Elisa sneered.
They, Donnie, Cath and Mikey all surrounded Raph, Elisa getting in front of him.
"Guys, we're not winning this one!" Leo said.
"So, let's try a new plan?" Mikey suggested. "One I like to call, running for our lives!"
"Ah!" Donnie yelped.
"Come on!" Cath yelled.
The Turtles all turned and ran though an doorway, then rounded a left corner, but then stopped.
"Ah!" they gasped.
A lava monster came out of the wall in front of them, followed by two more.
"Now what?!" Raph questioned.
"Tell me you guys got a plan?" Cath asked.
"Uh, more running?" Mikey suggested.
The Turtles all turned around and ran off as the lava monsters threw lava balls at them, hitting the ground. They ran under a bridge, then though a doorway, but then stopped and saw hundreds of people like the Entity standing in front of them. The people all walked forward, before the Turtles turned left and ran off.
"Since when did we become so popular?" Donnie wondered.
"If we are, we're on the Most Wanted list!" Elisa argued.
The Turtles all stopped and gasped, when three lava monsters came out of the wall in front of them.
"We're boxed in!" Raph exclaimed, as they turned around.
The people slowly approached the Turtles, before a trap door opened up beneath them, making them fall.
"AGHHHH!" they yelled.
They all landed on their feet in a room, then turned to a doorway.
"There's a door." Leo said.
They all ran towards the door, when a bunch of laser lines popped up in the doorway, trapping them.
"Yeah, a cell door!" Donnie corrected.
"Not good. Not good at all!" Mikey panicked.
Cath looked around, and saw there was no other way out.
"Looks like we're trapped." she said. "There's no other way out."
"Then let's make a way-" Leo began, bringing out his swords.
He tried to slash the lasers with them, only to be shocked by them.
"AGHHH!" he yelled. "AH!"
He fell onto his back and dropped his swords.
"Leo?!" Raph gasped.
"Leo?!" Cath cried.
"Leo?!" Donnie yelped.
They all crouched down around Leo, then Cath turned him onto his shell.
"Leo, you okay?" she asked.
"Yeah..." Leo moaned, lifting his head up.
"And this is why I have to ask; why do we keep coming back down here?!" Mikey asked.
Elisa slapped the back of his head in annoyance.
"Ow!" he yelped.
"Last time, we had a good reason, Mikey!" Elisa snapped.
A door opened up on the other side of the laser bars, showing the Entity.
"I have asked myself that very same question." he admitted, approaching the bars.
The Turtles all turned to them once he was close.
"Oh, not this guy again?!" Mikey complained.
"You should not have returned!" the Entity snarled.
"That's exactly what I told them." Mikey said. "But would they listen; no!"
"We wouldn't have come back down here, but whatever's powering the crystals is wreaking havoc on our world." Donnie explained.
Raph pointed at the Entity. "I don't know what you're up too, buddy..." he said, before crystals began to pop up behind him, moving towards him. "..but you better knock it off or-"
The crystals got close and wrapped themselves around him, moving him towards the lasers, shocking him.
"AHHH!" he moaned.
"Raph, no?!" Mikey cried.
"Raph?!" Cath cried.
"Let him go?!" Leo demanded.
"Or you will what?" the Entity inquired.
Raph moved his head away from the laser bars, then the crystals began to vanish.
"Pathetic creatures." the Entity said, shaking his head as Raph fell onto his side. "This is far beyond your control."
Leo and Cath approached Raph, then crouched down near him.
"After 10,000 years, a new day is dawning for my people." the Entity explained. "The Y'Lyntians shall rule once more."
He eyes glowed as the Turtles stared at him - expect Raph.
"Your people?" Leo questioned, as Raph moaned. "You told us you were the sole-survivor of your kind? That you were peace loving. Why all the lies?"
"Yeah, why didn't you tell us about all the frozen people hidden in your city?!" Elisa demanded, clutching her fists.
"At the time, I had limited power." the Entity explained. "I needed your help to maintain my city. So I said what I had to."
Leo and Cath helped Raph up.
"I don't understand. What is it you Y'Lyntians are trying to do?" Donnie asked.
"Reshape the world the way it used to be." the Entity explained, turning around.
He walked off.
"We won't stand by and let this happen!" Leo roared.
"It is already happening." the Entity explained. "There is nothing you can do. You shall be the first slaves of the new world order."
He laughed evilly as he walked off.
Later, Raph banged a wooden stake against a wall, trying to dig though it. Elisa watched him as he did, while the others all got onto each other's shoulders, trying to reach for the top of the trap door. (Cath was between Mikey and Donnie.)
"This is gonna take a mouth!" Raph complained.
"I had a feeling it world." Elisa said, folding her arms.
"Don, can you reach?" Cath asked.
"No good. It's too far up." Donnie said.
Mikey whimpered as a wall in front of them began to melt slightly.
"Uh, now what?!" he panicked.
Donnie, Cath and Mikey all jumped off Leo, then all six Turtles stared at the lava.
"More lava monsters?" Mikey gulped.
The lava kept melting a hole in the wall, before it exploded, making rubble fly over the Turtles. They stared at the hole, when a female Y'Lyntian - who'd been among the crowd from earlier - showed up on the other side, holding a crystal.
"Come with me if you want to live?" she instructed.
She turned and ran off, as the Turtles glared slightly, not trusting her, expect Mikey.
"I wanna live." Mikey said. "How 'bout you guys? You wanna live?"
"Anything's better than sitting locked up in here." Raph reasoned.
"Even if we can't trust her." Elisa added.
"Alright, let's go." Leo said.
They all ran towards the hole.
"But be ready for anything." Leo cautioned, as they turned and ran after the woman.
Soon, the Turtles and the woman all walked down a hallway.
"So, who are you?" Leo asked.
"And why are you helping us?" Cath inquired.
"Yeah? Aren't you one of them?" Raph questioned.
The woman stopped and turned to them.
"All will be revealed." she assured. "Follow me."
She turned and kept walking down the hallway, then the Turtles followed her.
"My name is Versallia. I am an Y'Lyntain, but I am not like the others." she explained.
They all stopped and turned to a closed door.
"We must stop them." Versallia said, holding her crystal up.
"Stop them?" Leo questioned. "We don't even know how they're doing what they're doing."
"Would you care to explain that to us?" Elisa asked.
The door opened up, then Versallia lowered her crystal.
"Then you will learn." she said, as they walked into the room. "Here, in the Chamber of Chronicles, you will learn the past."
They all stopped and stared at a large blue crystal - similar to the green one the Entity had used to show the Turtles about how his race was supposedly extinct.
"I don't know. Last movie we saw, turned out to be a pack of lies." Mikey recalled.
Versallia held up her crystal as it glowed.
"Please, attend?" she asked.
(The crystal)
An island rested in the middle of the ocean.
"We were of a different age, a time long ago, when Y'Lyntains held unsalable dominion over the Earth." Versallia explained.
On the island, were a bunch of Y'Lyntains, who were walking around, before they stopped and looked up at the sky.
"We were the first - the chosen. The Heavens bestowed upon us powers beyond imagining, in the form of mighty crystals from the stars."
The crystals shot down towards the sky towards the Y'Lyntains.
"AH!" they screamed, running off.
The crystals then hit the ground, causing some explosions.
"The largest of these - the Sun Crystal -"
A large crystal hit the top of the island.
"came to rest high atop Mt. Termaes, overlooking the entire continent."
The planets began to align with the Sun.
"As a final gift from the Heavens, the planets aligned and empowered our Sun Crystal..."
The Sun Crystal shined brightly over the island.
"..charging it, with unbelievable energy."
Y'Lyntains all over the island began to pick crystals up.
"Crystal energy which we harnessed..."
One Y'Lyntain put two crystals together, making them shine and echo.
"..to build the largest, most splendid civilisation on Earth."
A bunch of floating objects fly around near the island.
In the city now on the island, two Y'Lyntains were painting a picture each, while another two were lying back watching them.
"But we Y'Lyntains had advanced so far, so fast, we began to believe ourselves..."
Soon, a bunch of Y'Lyntains stood in front of a bunch of normal Humans, most behind a cage, while a man stood on a stage with two others like slaves.
"..superior to all others."
A Y'Lyntain held his hand up, as the Slaver pointed at him.
Six Y'Lyntains soon stood in a room full of crystals, surrounding a man in chains.
"We enslaved many innocent Humans, and when they could not preform the jobs we imposed upon them..."
A triangle shaped dome opened up into five pieces above the man.
"..the limitless power of our Crystal Sun..."
The Crystal Sun shot a beam down towards a crystal in the room, which then shot one to each Y'Lyntain.
"..was used to mutate them, into creatures better..."
The Y'Lyntains eyes and mouths opened up, firing beams at the man.
"..suited to serve our selfish needs."
The beams mutated the man into a gilded fish Merman. He looked at himself frantically, then he turned and ran towards a river entrance, which he then dived into, where more were swimming in.
"Water breathers, to bring us the bounty of the sea."
A green furry creature - which Donnie, Elisa and Mikey recognized as the Green Woman monster from the woods outside the Jones' farmhouse - roared as it pulled a cart full of rocks.
"Monstrous, beasts-of-burden, to raise our monuments and dig our canals."
Another beast-of-burden followed the first, as another two loaded rocks into another cart.
Three men with giant angel wings swooped down from the sky above the city.
"And Avians to patrol the skies..."
They all stopped while flapping their wings, staring down at three Y'Lyntains rowing a boat across the ocean.
"..preventing certain Y'Lyntains from escaping."
They swooped down towards the Y'Lyntains, who gasp.
"Y'Lyntains, who - like me - detested..."
The Avians pick up an Y'Lyntain each and fly off with them.
"..the dark ways of our own people."
Years later, a fleet of old warships approach the island.
"And then, an uprising. The Human cultures banded together and launched an attack upon our home."
The ships beached the island, then a few fired boulders from catapults and arrows at the Y'Lyntains.
"Ah!" some panicked, running away.
"The Y'Lyntains were taken by surprise."
The boulders hit the buildings, smashing them to pieces.
"The High Council gathered in the Star Chamber to take..."
The top of the Star Chamber - which was the triangular shaped dome - opened up.
"..retaliatory action."
A bunch of Y'Lyntains watch three beasts-of-burden move a wheel-of-pain around, raising a green crystal up.
"And the slaves were ordered to turn the power of our Crystal Sun into the most..."
A light beam shot from the Crystal Sun, and hit the green crystal.
"..devastating of weapons."
A beam shot from the green crystal towards one of the ships, splitting it in half as a fire spread across it. Bot halves then sank beneath the ocean as the survivors dived into the ocean.
The beasts-of-burden moved the wheel-of-pain around, as more beams shot towards the fleet, sinking another three ships.
"But many slaves were allied with the Human forces, determined to put an end..."
A bunch of Mermen rose up from the ocean entrance behind the Y'Lyntains
"..to their cruel Y'Lyntain taskmasters."
The Merman pounced on the Y'Lyntains, starting a rumble.
"AHH!" the Y'Lyntains yelled.
One Y'Lyntain backed away from the fight, when an Avian swooped down behind him and picked him up.
"The power of our Crystal Sun was..."
The beasts-of-burden saw what was happening, then turned the wheel-of-pain around in the other direction.
"..turned back upon itself, with catastrophic consequences."
The green crystal's beam hit the Sun Crystal, lighting up brightly, shattering it to pieces.
"And the fable island of Y'Lyntius, sank beneath the waves."
The island sank slowly under the ocean, before vanishing beneath it.
(Reality)
The Turtles all looked shocked by what they saw, especially Elisa, Donnie and Mikey by the beasts-of-burden, while Cath was disgusted by what the Y'Lyntains had done to those innocent people.
"Wait a minute?" Mikey said, putting the pieces together. "The fable island of Y'Lyntius? You mean Y'Lyntius is really..?"
"Atlantis?" Donnie gasped, getting the picture too. "Of course. Why didn't I get it before?"
"Even I didn't see this coming." Cath admitted.
"So, you guys are from the Lost City of Atlantis?" Donnie asked. "Unbelievable."
"Yes." Versallia confirmed. "We may be all that remains of the once great civilisation. A few of us managed to escape destruction, and took a fragment of the Sun Crystal."
They all stared at the crystal, which now showed sailboats moving away along the ocean, one carrying the fragment of the Sun Crystal.
"Though its power was hugely diminished, it was enough to give life to..."
(The crystal)
The fragment of the crystal shined over the Underground City, forming the Crystal Moon.
"..an underground refuge."
A bunch of Y'Lyntains walked along a bridge, while others flew either Hover Scooters or other Hover vehicles around the city.
"Now named the Crystal Moon, this smaller power source ultimately began to weaken."
The Crystal Moon burnt out, darkening the Underground City.
"And without slaves..."
The cable car and people on Hover Scooters moved through the city, before they vanished.
"..the Y'Lyntains found they were ill-equipped to survive on their own."
In a hidden room beneath the city, nearly all the Y'Lyntains were frozen in ice statues, with crystals beneath them.
"So they chose to go in Crystal Suspension, until the next planetary alignment could recharge the Moon Crystal."
The Entity - the only one not in suspension - walked towards a door.
"Only one remained awake - the High Mage."
The door opened, then he walked through it.
"It was his task to watch over the city until the Crystal Moon could be recharged."
The door closed behind him, as smoke came over the crystal.
(Reality)
"And now, all has been fulfilled as foreseen by the High Council." Versallia explained. "The alignment has come to pass."
She turned around to the Turtles.
"The Crystal Moon is recharged. And the High Council are using it to raise our ancient city from the sea." she explained.
"And, with a sudden geological change on such a massive scale, continents will shift and sink." Donnie realized.
Leo and Cath both gasped at the news.
"Most of the Human race will be wiped out. It'll be the end of the world as we know it." Donnie deduced.
"Ah!" Mikey flinched.
He grabbed Cath's shoulders and turned her towards him.
"Please tell me that's not true?!" he asked.
"I'm afraid it is." Cath sighed sadly.
"But I'm too young to go!" Mikey exclaimed. "I can't go yet! I-"
Elisa slapped him across the face, calming him down.
"Will you calm down, you blockhead?!" she demanded. "That is not gonna happen."
"Yeah. We gotta stop 'em!" Raph said.
"Maybe we can take a page from Y'Lyntion history, and sabotage the crystal power source just like the slaves did." Leo said.
"Well, that would give them something to remember." Cath admitted.
"Sounds like a plan." Raph agreed, liking it, before punching his fist. "Let's do it."
They all soon approached a door, which opened up.
"I can get a prism large enough to interfere with the energy beam." Versallia explained, before they walked into a chamber. "But we will have to gain access to the Star Chamber. It will not be easy."
"Especially if more of those lava monsters are around." Mikey said.
They all stopped, then Versallia picked up a staff with a crystal on either end, as the Turtles stared at a bunch of armour.
"This Y'Lyntion armour will protect you from the Lava Wraiths." she explained.
Mikey stared at her as she held up the staff.
"If you dislodge the Fire Crystals from within their bodies using these staffs..." Versallia explained, as Mikey picked one up. "..the lava monsters will disintegrate."
She tossed Raph the staff she held, who caught it.
"Good. It's time for a little payback." Raph grinned. "Those goons melted my Sai."
All six Turtles then held up a staff each, standing in a circle. (Cath was between Donnie and Mikey, while Elisa was between Leo and Raph)
"Suit up, guys." Leo said, as they spun the staffs around above them.
They then all banged the top ends of their staffs together, making the crystals shine slightly.
Later, in the Star Chamber, the High Mage and a bunch of Y'Lyntains were staring at the crystal that showed the Earth, chanting as beams shot from their eyes at it.
"Hear me, A-E-I. Rise, Olinthous, rise!" they chanted, as some of the lava monsters stared at them. "Hear me, A-E-I. Rise, Olinthous, rise!"
All around the Earth, large thunderstorms went off in the sky over the oceans, causing something began to rise up from it.
Nearby, a door lit up, before it opened up, showing the Turtles in the Y'Lyntain armour, holding their staffs.
"Time to party." Mikey said.
"Not yet." Cath said. "We have to get there first."
They all ran towards a doorway - Leo rolling forward past it, before Versallia showed up near him on a Hover Scooter.
"Here." she said.
She touched Leo's shoulder, getting him to turn to her, as she held a large crystal.
"This will be enable you to disrupt the crystal energy flow." she explained.
Leo put his staff behind his shell, then took the crystal.
"Right. Thanks." he said.
He turned to his siblings as Versallia hopped back onto the scooter.
"Okay, we all clear on the plan?" Leo asked.
His siblings all nodded.
"Be careful." Leo cautioned.
He climbed up the wall as Versallia drove off in the Hover Scooter.
"Alrighty then, Turtle Armour Force, move out!" Mikey said, pointing at the doorway.
"Who made you boss?" Raph inquired, as they ran through it.
"Raph, let it go!" Elisa hissed. "Now's not the time for arguments."
"She's right." Cath agreed. "Come on."
Once Leo reached the top of the wall, he looked around and saw it was clear, so then he jumped over the wall and onto the roof. He then ran along it, then hid against a weird shaped wall that went diagonally, before he looked up, and saw it was the wall leading to the top of the Star Chamber.
"Huh? So far so..." he said.
A lava monster rose up from the wall in front of him.
"..bad!" he yelped, backing away.
He back flipped as the lava monster tried to grab him.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
He took his staff out, then twirled it around above him.
"Okay, now where's that crystal heart of yours?" he wondered.
He charged at the lava monster, then sliced open its chest slightly with his staff, before it turned and punched him in the chest, sending him flying away.
"AGHHH!" he yelled.
He hit the roof on his shell, then he back flipped onto the edge of the roof, before spotting a burnt piece in his armour.
"At least we know the armour works." he sighed, relieved. "Now, let's give the staff another try."
The lava monster threw a lava ball at him, but missed as he somersaulted over it, then he landed on the roof and charged at it. He spun the staff around over his head, then jumped up and dived down, slicing the lava monster in half with it, before he landed facing the remains.
"Wow. Y'Lyntion battle armour, don't storm the Star Chamber without it." he joked, holding the staff up.
Meanwhile, the other Turtles were all walking down a hallway towards the Star Chamber.
"Hey, Raph?" Mikey said.
"What?" Raph asked.
"Does my butt look big in this outfit?" Mikey asked.
Two lava monsters began to rise up behind them all.
"Mikey!" Raph frowned.
"Now's not the time, you two?" Elisa frowned.
"Yeah, focus will you?" Cath asked.
They all approached a set of steps, when a lava monster rose up on their left, making them stop and turn to it.
"Ah!" they gasped.
Donnie and Cath turned around and saw another rise up on their right, then another rose up from the stairs in front of them. The Turtles then turned to the two behind them, then Donnie gasped as one threw a lava ball at him.
"AH!" Donnie yelped, as it hit him.
He went flying away, stopping just near the one by the stairs, before he back flipped and landed on his feet. He then spun his staff around, then sliced another lava ball with it. He then charged at the nearest lava monster, then stabbed it in the hip, as the others all dodged a whack from another each.
Donnie pulled his staff back as the lava monster turned to him, then he sliced it again, before he grabbed him and banged him against a wall.
"AH!" he moaned.
The lava monster pulled its hand back, making him fall to the floor. He got back up and stared at it as it charged at him, then he jumped over it and landed crouched down. They then turned to each other, then he sliced it in half across the chest, threw his staff at it like a spear, hitting the top half before they could merge again, pinning it against the wall. Both halves then melted, as Donnie had hit the crystal in the top half, which fell to the floor between both halves, as the staff moved away.
"Hey, guys, it works." he said. "Aim for their crystal heart!"
He turned around as Mikey ducked to avoid a punch from a lava monster, before it grabbed him and banged him against the ceiling.
"AH!" he moaned. "Easier said..."
The lava monster threw him to the floor, hitting it on his shell.
"..than done!" Mikey exclaimed.
He rolled forward between its legs as it tried to hit him, then he got up and turned around, then it shifted its body so it faced him.
"Gross!" Mikey said disgusted.
He sliced its left foot off with his staff, then sliced its right leg off, making it fall onto its chest. Mikey then stabbed it in the chest as it tried to pull itself up, knocking out its crystal heart, melting it.
"Aw, did I break your heart?" Mikey joked.
Elisa and Cath stood back to back while facing one each, then they both rolled forward between their legs as they tried to hit them. Elisa got up and turned to hers, then sliced its chest open with her staff, while Cath turned to hers and sliced its legs off, tripping it up. Both girls then jumped over their lava monsters and past each other, then Elisa stabbed Cath's thought the chest, knocking out its crystal hear. Cath then sliced Elisa's in half downwards with her staff as she dived down, knocking out its crystal heart, as both halves of its top hit the floor. She then landed near and turned to the remains, as Elisa did the same.
"Sorry, but you're not our type." Cath joked.
"So bye-bye." Elisa smirked, waving.
Raph stabbed the last lava monster through the chest, then sliced its chest open slightly, before it wrapped its arms around him, lifting him up.
"AHH!" he groaned.
He raised his staff up, causing the lava monster to bite it, snapping it in half.
"AGGH!" Raph grunted.
He pulled both halves away, then twirled them around, then sliced off the lava monster's head with them, before he jumped free from its arms, and landed in front of it.
"Okay, now let's find that crystal of years!" Raph said.
The lava monster picked up its head, which merged with the body, giving birth to a new head, then it threw a fireball at Raph, who sliced it with the left half of his staff.
"Right back at ya!" he snarled.
He threw the right half at the lava monster, hitting its chest and knocking out its crystal heart, which hit the wall behind it. It then fell to the floor, with the half of the staff, then the lava monster melted.
"Um, clean up on aisle 12." Mikey joked.
"Shut up?!" Raph frowned, as the Turtles all began running up the stairs.
"Come on!" Donnie said.
"Let's just hope it's not too late." Cath said.
In the Star Chamber, the High Mage and the other Y'Lyntains were still staring and shooting beams from their eyes and mouths at the crystal that showed the Earth.
"Hear me, A-E-I. Rise, Olinthous, rise!" they chanted.
The High Mage touched his crystal as it glowed, stopping his eye and mouth beams.
"Our sentries have failed." he explained. "Maintain your focus. The Island must continue to rise!"
He turned around and approached a door.
"I will deal with the intruders." he explained.
The door lowered itself, showing the Turtles - expect Mike and Leo. Donnie and Raph then walked forward and crossed their staffs - Raph holding Mikey's - over in front of the High Mage, while Elisa and Cath stood behind them, then Mikey popped up above them all, hanging upside down.
"Roll out the welcome mat and brake out the phone China." he joked. "You got company!"
"You dare desecrate the Star Chamber?" the High Mage snarled.
He touched his crystal, lighting it up, then lighting shot out of it, hitting all five Turtles.
"AGHH!" they moaned.
All but Mikey then dropped their staffs, as the lighting lifted them up.
"Fools! You are no match for my power!" the High Mage snarled.
His lighting lifted the Turtles up.
"We know, that's why we're not here to fight you!" Donnie grunted.
"Yeah! We're here to distract you!" Mikey declared.
"What are you talking about?!" the High Mage demanded.
"Have you lost count or something?!" Elisa retorted.
The High Mage looked up, then saw Leo standing on the roof, seeing what Mikey and Elisa meant.
"Your crazy ritual is wrecking havoc across the globe!" Leo announced, holding up the large crystal. "But it stops now!"
"NOOOOO!" the High Mage yelled.
He took his hand off the crystal, freeing the five younger Turtles as he stared at the eldest.
"AGHH!" they yelled, hitting the ground.
Leo jumped off the roof and landed on a crystal, before he held the small one up.
"Yes!" he said.
He slammed the small one into the large one, cracking it open, sending beams out all over the chamber, putting holes in it.
"AH!" the High Mage yelped, turning around.
He put his hands over his ears as more beams came out of the crystal, as his fellow Y'Lyntains kept firing their beams at the one showing Earth.
"AGHHH!" they yelled, as lighting shot at them though their beams.
Versallia showed by the big crystal on her Hover Scooter.
"You have done it." she said.
Leo turned to her and jumped onto the scooter.
"But come? We must flee the city." she explained, lowering it down.
The other five Turtles then got up, then hopped onto her scooter - making it a cramped space - then she flew them through the door. The Star Chamber began to explode all over, which extended to the city, sinking it beneath the lava - including the bridge. Three beams then hit the Crystal Moon, causing it to fall from its place, and then fall into the lava.
Versallia stopped her Hover Scooter and looked back at the city with the Turtles, before its crystal burned out.
"We've lost all power!" Donnie gasped. "Jump!"
The Turtles all jumped off the scooter - Leo grabbing Versallia before he did - then they all dived towards the cliff face near the cave - where they'd first discovered the city.
"AHH!" they yelled.
Leo grabbed the edge of the cliff as the others landed on it on their chests. He and Versallia then looked at the lava - as the scooter hit it - then Raph came over and bent down near the edge of it.
"Grab my hand?" Raph asked.
Versallia took his hand, then he pulled her up, then she walked towards the others, as Raph helped Leo up. They all then stared at the Star Chamber - the Turtles taking their helmets off as they did - as it sank beneath the lava.
"Close call, but we did it." Leo said, touching Versallia's shoulder.
"The world is safe, but...but I've lost everything I've ever known." she sighed.
She put her hands over her eyes as she touched, then Cath crouched down beside her.
"We did what we had to, Versallia." Cath explained. "It's not your fault your people were like that."
"Thanks." Versallia wept.
Soon - after the Turtles changed out of their armour - they and Versallia all walked into the tunnel where they'd first found the city, before they stopped.
"Where will you go, Versallia?" Leo asked.
Versallia turned to the Turtles. "I have heard long ago, of other underground cites, where Y'Lyntains like myself fled the Dark Empire." she said. "I hope to find them."
"Well, if you ever get topside, look us up?" Donnie asked.
"You'll always be welcome with us, Versallia." Elisa promised.
"Farewell, my friends. Safe journey." Versallia said.
"Same with you." Cath said.
Versallia turned and walked down another tunnel, to start her journey.
"Come on. Let's get the Tunneller and get outta here." Leo said.
The Turtles turned and walked back down the tunnel they came from.
"And Mikey, you are not driving!" Raph snarled.
"Letting me drive is the least you can do for dragging me back down here to Creepy Craven." Mikey said.
"After what you did on the way, no way!" Elisa scowled. "You're bound to get us in an accident!"
"She's right, little brother." Cath teased.
"Yeah, suck it up, Mikey?" Raph scoffed.
"And look at the bright side - we'll never have to come back down here ever again." Leo explained.
"Yeah?" Mikey scoffed. "That's what you said the last time, and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that."
Raph whacked his head.
"OW!" Mikey complained.
"We've only been down here three times, Mikey?!" Elisa scowled. "You're making it sound like we've been down here more than normal!"
"Uh, oops." Mikey gulped.
They all kept on walking to get the Tunneller.
