A/N: I consider this to be the darkest episode of the entire series.
Please read and review?
On a rainy day, people of New York walked down a street in raincoats - some with umbrellas - all looking upset, like they were slaves.
"Attention servants of the Shredder, your Lord and Master will now address you." Karai explained.
They all stopped and looked up at a few screens on buildings, showing the Foot Symbol, then Shredder's head.
"For those of you..."
A Foot Blimp flies over the city.
"..still living under the illusion that..."
A bunch of robots with wings powered by enslaved Utroms called Utrominators fly over the city.
"..you will have freedom, know this: My armies..."
A bunch of Karai bots fire Gatling guns from their hands, walking past skeletons.
"..have exterminated the last pockets of resistance..."
One Karai bot stomps on a skull, smashing it to pieces.
"..and I now control the entire planet."
A bunch of Utrominators fly in the sky, firing guns at the ground.
"The..."
In a lab, a Zombie Utrom flies a hover pad towards a bunch of Foot Police, working on stuff.
"..traitorous Utrom scientists I have captured are..."
In another room, a bunch of men and military vehicles from Tanks to Armoured-Cars move towards a Transmat device.
"..completing a colossal transmat device. With it, I will send forth my armies and enslave the stars, one world after another."
The people in the city stared at the screens.
"There is no hope. There is only the Shredder." Shredder declared.
The people all sighed, turned and walked off.
"Remember, the Shredder is always watching." Karai warned.
In the lair, Donnie was sitting by his computer, having a video chat with April. Behind him, Leo was training, while Cath was reading a medical book in a chair, while Mikey sat on the couch, reading a comic, while Elisa was doing kata moves on the upper level.
"Donnie, it's hard to believe you actually travelled through time like that." April said.
"I know, April, it's wild isn't it? But it really was the year 1406, and we were there, all because of the Time Scepter." Donnie explained.
"Well, anything's possible. I think Uncle Augie's artefact taught me that." April said, remembering how it zapped her and the Turtles to that Jungle World.
"I know. I was going over some of your Uncle's calculations, and-" Donnie began.
He turned around as the lair began to shake.
"I think we're having an Earthquake!" Donnie exclaimed, turning back to the computer.
"Nothing's happening over here at-" April argued.
The screen went fuzzy, cutting her off, then the computer shorted out, making sparks come from it.
"AH!" Donnie yelped, back flipping off his chair.
He turned and ran off towards Mikey as the screens began to smash.
"What the shell is going on?!" Elisa exclaimed, jumping down to the lower level.
The river water began to rise up as Donnie turned to it, then a wormhole opened up as it went back to where it was.
"Master Splinter, what's going on?" Leo panicked.
Donnie ran towards the couch. "We've seen that kind of energy before." he recalled, pointing at it.
A large figure came out of the wormhole, which then spread its wings out, showing it was Ultimate Drako.
"Drako?" Splinter gasped.
"And the Daimyo's son." Leo said. "This is what we told you about, Master Splinter. They merged somehow, combined together!"
Raph came out of the garage room, blocking the light from the wormhole with his forearm.
"All into one ugly package." he said.
"We told you we would return!" Ultimate Drako snarled. "We told you we would have our revenge!"
The wormhole vanished behind him.
Raph began charging at him with his Sais out, spinning them around.
"Revenge this, whack bag!" he roared.
"Raph, wait?!" Elisa warned.
Raph jumped up and dived towards Ultimate Drako, who shot a blast from the Time Scepter at him, which hit Raph as he jumped up to kick him, freezing him stiff.
"AGH!" he yelped.
Ultimate Drako then grabbed him with his tail, then threw Raph across the lair with it.
"AGHH!" Raph yelled.
He hit the pillar with the 'Sewer sweet sewer' sign on, before he hit the floor on his shell, then the sign landed beside him as he sat up..
"As if you could simply fight us?!" Ultimate Drako snarled.
Raph got up as they all stared at Ultimate Drako.
"We control time and space!" Ultimate Darko snarled, as Raph got up. "With Lord Simultaneous' Time Scepter, we are unbeatable!"
"Someone quick, grab the-" Donnie began.
The Turtles and Splinter all jumped towards Ultimate Drako, who waved the scepter around, stopping them all in mid-air.
"Now we will have our vengeance!" he snarled.
"Leonardo, destroy him first!" Ue-Sama sneered, glaring at Leo.
"No! We agreed, the rat first!" Drako argued. "Then the Daimyo, your Father."
"Then Leonardo!" Ue-Sama said.
"They will all pay, all of them!" Drako declared.
Ultimate Drako held up the scepter, as the end lit up.
"Yes! All of them will learn the meaning of suffering, beyond time and space!" he declared.
He waved the scepter around, then sent a beam forward, which hit Splinter and the Turtles.
"AGH!" Donnie yelled, hitting the floor on his shell. "AH!"
Smoke came up all around him, then he got to his feet and spun his Bo around, prepared to fight. Once the smoke cleared however, he saw no sign of Ultimate Drako, Splinter or his siblings, and saw the lair was trashed.
"Huh?" he gasped. "Master Splinter? Master Splinter?! Leo?! Cathy?! Raph?! Elisa?! Mikey?! Anybody?!"
His voice echoed in the lair, but no one came towards him.
He soon pushed a door down, then walked into a the warehouse above it, seeing the Turtle Tunneller stuck in the ground by its back wheels.
"The entire lair is trashed - even the warehouse?" he questioned.
He stopped and turned to the Tunneller.
"Huh? The Tunneller looks like it's still in one piece." he noted, before he turned and walked off. "But this place feels like it's been abandoned for a long time."
He walked out of a hole in the garage door, then walked into the city.
"None of this makes any sense?" he questioned.
He stopped and looked around, seeing the city was not the same as it was before being zapped here, as buildings were trashed all over. He looked up as he heard a noise, then saw a helicopter above a building, which then shined a spotlight down at him.
"AH!" he grunted, covering his eyes with his forearms.
About four cars parked in front of him.
"Attention, citizen!" a man said.
Two men got out of each car and aimed a gun at Donnie, showing the doors had the Foot Symbol on.
"Place your hands in the air and drop your weapons!" the man yelled, before Donnie stared at them. "Repeat: Hands up and drop your weapons!"
Donnie raised his hands up, as the six men came towards him, all dressed in black coats. He then saw the Foot Symbols on their left sleeves, shocking him as he looked amongst them all. He then took out his Bo as they got closer to him, when three Shurikens hit the ground in front of them, making them stop.
"On the roof!" one yelled, looking up. "Get a light on him!"
The helicopter moved its light towards a shadowy figure on the roof of the warehouse.
"Fire! Open fire!" the Foot ordered.
The figure jumped as the light came onto him, then all the Foot began firing at him, as he ran across the rooftop's edge. The figure then jumped off the roof and landed amongst the rubble as Donnie turned to it, then it hid behind a wrecked car. The Foot goons all ran towards the car, then most stopped and fired at it, as two jumped onto it. They both fired their guns at the roof rapidly, shooting it off, but saw no sign of the figure. One of them bent down, before the figure lifted up the boot of the car, sending the Foot flying away.
"Ah!" he moaned, bumping into the other.
"OH!" they moaned, hitting the ground.
The figure jumped out of the car as the others fired at him, then he flipped forward through the air, showing his left arm below the elbow was missing. He then whacked the gun of one of them down with a Nunchuck, then he jumped and kicked the Foot goon down.
"OH!" he moaned.
The figure turned to another, who fired at him, before he knocked his gun out of his hand with his Nunchuck.
"Ah!" the Foot gasped.
The figure then kicked him in the chest, knocking him down, as another fried at him. The figure whack his gun down slightly with his Nunchuck, then whacked him in the face with it.
"OH!" he moaned, falling down.
Donnie stared at the figure, who skidded slightly while spreading his legs apart, then whacked another Foot with his Nunchuck, recognizing the style.
"Mikey?" Donnie questioned, shocked.
"AGH!" the Foot yelped.
Another got up by the car as he landed in its boot.
"OH!" he moaned.
The first sat up, as a third got knocked towards him, hitting him, knocking them out in the boot.
"OH!" they moaned.
The second took out a sword - which was wrapped around a belt - before Mikey whacked it out of his hands, then he whacked him in the chest with his shoulder, knocking him into the car boot, which then closed on them. Mikey put his Nunchuck away, as the helicopter's spotlight shined on him, showing his headband now covered his entire head, then he side jumped to his left. He picked up one of the guns and fired it at the cars, destroying them, then he aimed and fired it at the helicopter as its spotlight shined over him, making it fly off as smoke came out of it, barely still in the air, before it crashed into a building.
Mikey dropped the gun as Donnie came towards him.
"Mikey, am I glad to see you." Donnie said.
"So, it's really you." Mikey said gruffly, stepping out of the shadows. "You came back."
Donnie stared at him, seeing he looked older, and had scars all over his arms and legs, with pads on his knees and shoulders, and a belt that wrapped around his left shoulder to right hip.
"Mikey, your...your arm?! What happened to you arm?" Donnie asked frantically.
"You're the one that's got some questions to answer?!" Mikey retorted coldly, pointing at him. "Where the shell have you been all these years?!"
"All these years?" Donnie questioned.
"You've been gone over 30 years, Donatello." Mikey said.
"30 years?" Donnie questioned. "It can't be?"
"Can be and is." Mikey said coldly. "We thought you were dead. Cath cried her eyes out for weeks over losing her favourite brother. How the shell could you just abandon us like that?!"
"I didn't!" Donnie swore, shaking his head. "I'd never abandon you guys. One minute we were all in the lair together, the next minute I woke up here. I don't know how."
"So, the Turtle with the big brain finally doesn't have all the answers?" Mikey said coldly. "Who'd a thunk it? I bet even Cath won't be able to answer this for you. But we can't talk here."
He backed away into the shadows.
"Come on?" he said.
He turned and entered the warehouse through the hole in the wall.
Soon, both brothers jumped and ran along four rooftops, as Foot cars patrolled the city streets with searchlights, while Foot Blimps and Utrominators flew over the city. Both brothers jumped along some more rooftops, then began climbing up a wall, as a Foot Blimp showed pictures of Shredder's helmet.
"Serve the Shredder." came Karai's voice. "He is your Lord and Master."
Donnie and Mikey ran across Times Square, the neon signs all showing Shredder's helmet.
"Serve the Shredder and live." Karai said.
Both brothers crouched down near a manhole grate with stream coming up from it, then Mikey lifted it up with his Nunchuck.
"Where are we going, Mikey?" Donnie asked.
"I'm taking you to Master Splinter." Mikey explained.
"Are Leo, Raph, Elisa and Cath with him?" Donnie asked hopefully, as Mikey sat down.
"You kidding?" Mikey questioned, turning to him. "Leo, Raph and Elisa aren't with anybody anymore. As for Cath, she's been busy helping out some small resistance movement."
He dived into the sewer, as Donnie looked puzzled and shocked, before following him.
In another part of the city, which lay in ruins, Shredder's helmet appeared on, while a statue of Shredder stood in the square.
"Beware what you do?" Karai warned. "The Shredder is watching. Always watching."
A manhole cover was lifted up, then Donnie climbed out of it.
"Where are all the people?" he asked, seeing no one around.
"You mean the ones that survived?" Mikey asked, getting out.
They both ran off towards some trees and into Central Park.
"They're forced to work 18-hour days in the Shredder's labour camps." Mikey explained. "No one's allowed out at night."
He bent down near what was left of a bush.
"What happened between the others?" Donnie asked, crouching down behind him.
"Let's just say - apart from Cath - they got into a big fight a long time ago." Mikey answered.
They got up and ran off, but then Donnie stopped as he stared phasing away.
"AH!" he gasped. "What the shell?"
He stopped phasing away, then he shook his head and ran after Mikey.
"When you never came back Donnie, well...everything just fell apart." Mikey explained, before they stopped. "We were a team. Without you, it just didn't work, no matter how hard Cath tried to fill in for both you and herself. Guess we really needed that level-head of yours."
They both walked past some trees, then stopped.
"Master Splinter?" Donnie inquired.
Mikey pointed at a tombstone past a ruined fence in front of them.
"He's over there." he said.
Donnie looked at the tombstone closely, and saw the word 'Splinter' written on it.
"No!" he gasped.
He walked towards the grave sadly.
"Master Splinter is...?" he said, falling to his knees, before punching the ground. "NOOOO!"
Mikey came up behind him.
"Master Yoshi used to bring him here to the park, back in the day." he explained. "It's not the safest place, but it's where Sensei wanted to be buried."
"H...How?" Donnie breathed, turning to him.
"A couple of years after you disappeared, Master Splinter gave his life protecting the five of us." Mikey explained. "There wasn't anything Cath could do to save him."
Donnie closed his eyes and turned around.
"I can't believe this place?!" he cried, opening his eyes. "It's all...so horrible."
He got to his feet and walked off.
"You'll get used to it." Mikey assured. "Besides, what can you do?"
Donnie turned to him.
"It's the way it is." Mikey said.
"It's not the way it was!" Donnie argued, turning away, before putting his hand on his chin. "Maybe I can't change the past, but that doesn't mean there isn't a way to change the present. We've gotta face the Shredder, and take him down."
"Ha." Mikey scoffed. "We tried, too many times."
Donnie walked away from him. "We're going to try again, Mikey!" he insisted, turning to him.
"You got a plan?" Mikey asked.
"I'm working on it." Donnie said, approaching him, before touching his shoulder. "But, we're going to need the others."
"That's a tall order, Donnie." Mikey said. "But I think I know somebody who can help."
Later, in the ruins of 2nd Time Around, several people were sitting or standing around tables.
"Resistance team 7, this is Ops. Proceed to target." a man said through a radio.
A teenage boy walked towards April, who stood around a big table which showed a map of the city.
"Take this to Angel." April instructed, handing the boy a piece of paper. "Her Commandos will have to destroy that Fuel Dump before it gets moved on Friday."
"Yes, sir!" the boy said, saluting.
The boy turned and walked off, as April turned to the map.
"Yo, Rebel Leader." came Mikey's voice.
April turned left and stared at him and Donnie.
"Look what the cat dragged in." Mikey said.
April turned and walked towards them both.
"April?" Donnie said happily, recognizing her.
"Donatello?" April gasped. "You came back?"
She hugged him tight.
"Splinter always said you would." she cried. "Casey too."
"Where is Case, that big bonehead?" Donnie asked.
April pulled back from him, then Donnie turned to Mikey, who flinched. He turned back to April, who closed her eyes sadly, then he saw a picture of Casey on a wall, telling him Casey was dead, like Master Splinter.
"Oh, no?" he gasped.
"I'm afraid so, bro." Mikey said.
"There's someone else I think you should see though." April said, pointing to her left.
Donnie turned and to a doorway, and saw a figure approaching him in the shadows, seeing it had robotic feet. As it got closer, he eyed it, when it came out of the shadows, showing it was Cath, her body heavily scarred all over, especially her left arm and right shoulder.
"Cath?!" he gasped.
"Donnie?!" Cath gasped.
She ran forward and hugged him tight, crying happily on his shoulder.
"I've missed you so much, bro." she wept.
She pulled back and then looked at him.
"Wait, you look like you haven't aged a day?" she said, shocked.
"What happened to you?" Donnie asked. "I mean, your legs?"
Cath looked down at them and sighed.
"I lost them in battle." she explained. "I had to build these in order to walk again, otherwise I'd have been useless. It took me a while though."
"She offered to make me a replacement arm, but I refused." Mikey explained.
A figure in a wheelchair, with a tank attached to his left shoulder began to move towards the four of them.
"Well, well, well, Donatello?" he said.
Donnie and Cath turned, and saw it was Hun in the wheelchair, while Stockman's tank was attached to his shoulder.
"What the?!" Donnie gasped, brining out his Bo.
He pointed it at them, as they got closer to him.
"Looking younger than ever." Stockman noted. "And how do we look; just another one of the Shredder's apropos punishments. Don't be a blight, Hun? Say hello?"
"Greetings, Donatello." Hun grumbled.
"Don, it's alright?" Cath asked, touching his shoulder.
"Yeah, relax, Donnie." April said, touching his other shoulder. "They're on our side. We saved them from being executed about five years back."
"Apparently the Shredder had had enough failures from them." Cath explained, folding her arms.
"This life is worse." Hun sighed. "I wish I'd been put out of my misery."
"And I wish that you had been put out of my misery, you miserable misanthrope!" Stockman snapped.
Donnie put his Bo away and approached Casey's picture, before turning around.
"April, there's got to be a way to end all this." he said. "Can you get Leonardo, Raphael and Elisabetta to meet me?"
"I can try." April promised.
"Yeah, good luck?!" Cath scoffed. "Those three haven't been friendly much since Sensei died. Even Ellie gave in her anger over that."
"Well, we have to try...sis." Donnie said, touching her shoulder.
At the Shredder's Palace, which resembled a pyramid - without the top - Karai walked down a long hallway, which had the Foot Symbol on the floor, with all sorts of stuff against the walls. She then stopped near a large door at the end of it, and bowed down on her knees.
"My Lord, I bring news." she explained.
Behind the door was Shredder, wearing a new sort of amour, which had multiple arms.
"Speak, Karai?" Shredder asked.
"Our Enforcers were involved in a skirmish near the Turtles old lair." Karai explained. "Senses have identified the attacker. It is the Turtle Donatello."
"So, the prodigal son has returned?" Shredder inquired. "Excellent. I want Donatello's' head brought before me, with or without his body!"
Later, as a Foot Blimp moved over the city, Leo stood outside the Resistance Headquarters in the shadows. He wore a black overcoat, fingerless gloves, and had sunglasses on instead of his headband, and only had one sword, and he was heavily scarred all over.
He ran towards the building, then peeked in through a hole in the wall, before he jumped through it, and into the building. He then took out his sword while looking around, when another figure landed behind him, who he knew. He turned around, as the figure looked up, showing it was Raph, who was heavily scared, had lost his left eye, and wore a brown coat and fingerless gloves.
"What the shell are you doing here?!" Raph demanded, getting up.
"Raph?" Leo said. "April's guys didn't say anything about you being here?"
"You two?!" a female voice growled.
Leo and Raph looked up, as a shadowy figure jumped down and landed between them.
"You!" they frowned, for it was Elisa.
Elisa got up and stared at Raph, wearing a brown overcoat and hat, showing scars all over her body, and she also had a robotic right hand, while the back finger on her left was missing.
"If I knew you two would be here, I wouldn't have come!" Elisa snarled.
"Ha. Guess we still agree on stuff after all." Raph scoffed.
"Yeah, we do!" Leo snarled.
"Oh, what's the matter, Leo?" Raph scoffed. "I remind ya how ya made us abandon Master Splinter, when he needed us most?!"
He punched Leo's arm slightly, who waved his sword around, making him back off.
"It's what he wanted, Raph!" Leo argued. "To save us! If we'd all gone back there, we would've all been destroyed!"
"We could've saved him!" Raph argued angrily.
"You knew we couldn't!" Leo snapped. "He was gone! Cath couldn't do anything, remember?!"
"Oh, boy, here we go again?!" Elisa frowned, facepalming herself.
"NO!" Raph roared, pushing Leo away.
"Alright, Raph, I'm through talking!" Leo snapped. "Let's settle this once and for all!"
"Fine! You gonna try and stop us?" Raph asked, turning to Elisa.
"I gave up on that years ago!" Elisa snapped. "Now if you two don't mind, I'm outta here! Goodbye, ex-brothers!"
She turned to jump up, when she was whacked in the chest by a Bo.
"OH!" she moaned, hitting the opposite wall.
Both brothers gasped, before the Bo hit Leo in the chest, then it whacked Raph.
"AH!" Leo moaned.
"OH!" Raph groaned.
They both hit the floor, then all three Turtles sat up.
"Huh?" Leo gasped.
"No...way?" Elisa gasped.
"Ah... What?" Raph said.
They all stared at Donnie, who stared at Leo while holding his Bo.
"Leo, Elisa, Raph, we need to talk." Donnie said, turning from Leo, to Elisa, to Raph, before putting his Bo away.
He helped Leo and Raph up as Elisa got to her feet, all looking speechless.
"Donnie? No way!" Raph said, hugging him tight.
"Don?" Elisa said. "Is that really you?"
Donnie nodded as Raph pulled back, then she hugged him tight, fighting tears of joy.
"Donatello! You're back!" Leo said. "I don't believe it!"
Elisa pulled back and wiped her tears, as Mikey, Cath, and April approached them.
"Believe it." Mikey said, getting their attention. "And Brainiac here wants to go up against the Shredder."
"You serious?" Elisa asked.
"Bingo, sis." Cath sighed, nodding.
"We've already tried it, Donnie." Leo explained. "How do you think we lost Casey?"
"And how'd you think we got all these scars and lost body parts?" Elisa added, showing him her hands.
"The Shredder's Palace is surrounded by an Army of Foot Police." Raph explained.
"And Utrominators." Leo added.
"And Karai Legions." Raph said.
"And it's filled with booby traps." Elisa added.
"You can't even get inside to fight him." Leo said.
Hun rolled himself and Stockman towards them all, getting their attention.
"And if you could, you couldn't beat him." Stockman said. "The Shredder's new Exo-Suit is stronger than ever. I should know; I designed it."
"It's impossible." Leo said, shaking his head.
"Can't be done, Donnie." Raph said. "It's hopeless."
Elisa nodded sadly in agreement.
"I don't know what happened to you guys, but the Turtles I knew believed nothing was ever hopeless!" Donnie said, clutching his fist. "Please? We can do this."
The three older Turtles turned to each other, then they all put their hands together, moved by Donnie's words.
"Alright, Donnie, we'll do it one more time." Leo said. "But please, tell me we have a fighting chance?"
"I've been working up a plan." Donnie assured. "Do we have any hardware? Exo-Suits? Anything?"
"Well, we captured a Karai Legion bot that Dr. Stockman has been modifying." April explained, pointing at him.
"Alone? You didn't help him, Cath?" Donnie asked.
"I've been too busy helping the wounded and sick to help Stockman in the lab." Cath said. "I'm a Doctor first, Scientist second."
"Okay. Still, that's a start." Donnie said. "And there's something we'll need from the lair."
"The lair?" Raph questioned. "It got wasted years ago."
"Not all of it." Donnie assured. "There's still something in that'll hopefully work."
"What do you mean?" Elisa asked, confused.
"You'll find out." Donnie promised.
Later, as Utrominators flew over the city and Shredder's palace, Karai walked down the hallway towards, then bowed before the door.
"Master, the Utrom slaves have finished building the Transmat." Karai explained. "It will be operational in two hours."
"Excellent." Shredder said.
The ground then shook, getting Karai to turn around, as the Tunneller shot up through the floor. She took out her sword as it landed on its bottom, then its door opened up.
"Who dares?!" Shredder demanded.
Mikey jumped out of the Tunneller and landed crouched down, before jumping away. Cath then followed him and dived to her left, before she rolled along the floor slightly, before getting up. Leo then followed her and jumped to his right, then Raph came out and jumped to his left, then Elisa came out and dived to her right. Donnie then came out, wearing the modified Legion bot, which had shoulder cannons, a claw for its right hand, its legs squashing some of the steps as he climbed out, then he jumped towards the others, digging the claw into the ground.
"Can the Shredder come out and play?!" Donnie dared.
"So, the Turtles have reunited?" Shredder said.
Karai stepped away from the door, as it opened up, then Shredder stepped out from it. The Exo-Suit was black, 4 times to the size of a normal one, had four arms - with gauntlets on two and a claw on a third - with spikes on the back, and his Utrom head was beneath his helmet.
"It is 30 years overdue, but I will finally put an end to your pathetic lives!" Shredder vowed, moving forward.
"Shredder, your reign of terror is over!" Donnie declared, pointing at him.
"Legions, attack!" Karai commanded, pointing at them with her sword.
A bunch of Karai bots charged at the Turtles, then quickly formed a circle around them all.
"Destroy them all!" Karai commanded.
The Karai bots all took out their weapons - ranging from swords, spears, Kusarigamas, claws, to sawblades on their hands - and dived towards the Turtles.
"For Master Splinter!" Donnie yelled, aiming his cannons.
He fired them rapidly like Gatling guns, blasting three Karai bots to pieces. He then turned while sitting firing them, hitting things all over the hallway, destroying eight more Karai bots as he did, as another two came running towards him.
"Donnie, look out?!" Elisa yelled, spotting it.
Before Donnie could turn around, April fired a mini missile launcher at them, destroying them both, before she jumped down to help the Turtles. She landed and crouched down near the Tunneller, then fired two more missiles, before she ran to her right.
As she did however, Hun rolled himself and Stockman to the doorway.
"Hun, stop?!" Stockman begged. "What are you doing?!"
Hun moved himself and Stockman down the steps, then looked around.
"We're suppose to stay in the Tunneller!" Stockman said.
Hun ignored him and raced towards Shredder.
"Master, please take me back?!" Hun begged, before he stopped.
"What?!" Shredder gasped.
"I'll serve you." Hun promised. "Please?"
"Hun, what are you doing?!" Stockman demanded.
"Exterminating you two traitors will be an added bonus to today's great victory!" Shredder declared, raising his foot up.
He then lowered it down over Hun and Stockman.
"Oh, crud." Hun gulped, knowing what was coming.
Shredder then stomped on them both, squashing them to death.
"Ha!" he grinned.
Karai bots surrounded the Turtles, expect Donnie.
"Come on!" Mikey said gruffly, spinning his Nunchuck around. "We've gotta buy Donnie a little more time. Keep the bots busy!"
All five Turtles jumped in different directions, then began to charge at Karai bots.
Elisa dived and sliced ones hand off with her Kamas as it turned to her, then she back flipped and kicked it in the chest, knocking it away.
Cath dived past two as they tried to slice her, making them slice each other in half with their swords, then she knocked a third down with both her Tonfas, before she somersaulted forward.
Both girls then gathered near each other, as more Karai bots surrounded them.
"I knew this was a bad idea." Elisa gritted.
"And you used to never back down from a fight, sis." Cath joked.
"Oh, hardy haw haw." Elisa scoffed. "Come on! Don needs more time!"
They both rolled forward as two Karai bots tried to hit them, Elisa dodging ones sword, Cath ones sawblade.
Mikey charged at a few, then jumped and whacked one in the head twice with his Nunchuck, knocking it back. He landed on his feet, then dodged to his left as it tried to hit him with its spear. He then wrapped his Nunchuck around its elbow, then he ducked and got under it as it raised up its arm, then he pulled it over him with his Nunchuck, and onto its back. He turned as another two came towards him, then he charged at them.
"AGHH!" he yelled.
He jumped as one tried to slice him with its sword, then he kicked the second in the shoulder, then spun around and kicked it in the back of the head, knocking it down. He landed on his knees, panting slightly, as more Karai bots surrounded him, then he got up. They all raised their weapons up, as they moved closer to him, then he turned around.
"Donnie! DONNIE, I'm..!" he yelled.
Five of the Karai bots all slashed him.
"AGHHHH!" he screamed.
"Mikey?! NOO!" Donnie gasped, staring at the Karai bots.
He stared at Mikey's dead body, which lay amongst the Karai bots, who then turned and charged at him.
"You'll pay for this, Shredder!" Donnie vowed.
He charged forward and knocked two aside, then stopped near Shredder, who turned to him.
"If it's the last thing I do, you will pay!" Donnie vowed, firing his Gatling guns.
The bullets hit Shredder's armour all over, creating a smokescreen in front of him.
"AGHHH!" Donnie yelled.
He stopped firing and looked at the smokescreen, before Shredder grabbed his armour with both his upper arms, lifting him up.
"30 years, and this is all you have?" Shredder smirked. "Turley pathetic."
He ripped off the arms, causing Donnie to fall towards the ground.
"AGHH!" he yelled.
"Disgusting creature!" Shredder snarled.
He kicked Donnie away as he sat up, sending him flying away.
"AGH!" Donnie moaned, before hitting the floor on his back. "OH!"
Shredder laughed, as Cath turned to Donnie and gasped.
"Don?!" Cath cried.
She ran towards him, hoping he was still alive, when Shredder whacked her with his right lower forearm, knocking her against a wall.
"AHH!" she moaned.
She looked up as Shredder towered above her.
"You monster!" she scowled. "You'll pay for all you've done, Shredder!"
"Oh, we'll see about that!" Shredder smirked.
Donnie looked up as Shredder stabbed Cath right though the chest with his lower right hand.
"AGHHH!" she yelped, coughing up blood.
"CATHY!" Donnie cried. "NOOOO!"
Cath turned to him as blood kept coming out of her.
"Don...keep...fighting..!" she coughed.
Shredder spun around and threw her away, hitting the ground near Mikey's body, killing her.
"NOOOOO!" Donnie cried.
"CATH!" Leo growled, turning to her.
He turned back and charged at two Karai bots, which charged at him, then he jumped over one as it tried to slash him. He landed as it turned around, then he sliced the other with his sword, then he turned and ducked as the first tried to slash him, then he sliced it in half. He turned around as Karai charged at him with her sword.
"Huh?" he gasped.
They both locked their swords together, then glared at each other.
"I beg you, leave this place, or you will force to do what my duty commands?" Karai begged, as they pulled apart.
They both locked their swords together, then Karai jumped to Leo's right as he tried to slash her. He did a handstand as she tried to slash him, then he kicked her in the leg, before she grabbed his leg and threw him away.
"AGHH!" Leo yelled.
He hit and smashed a glass casing before hitting a wall.
"Uh!" he moaned, landing on his knees.
He shook his head.
"Not this time, Karai!" he gritted. "This time you have to make a choice..!"
He got up and jumped over Karai as she charged forward and tried to slash him.
"..once and for all!"
He landed near the arm of a Karai bot, as Karai turned around and charged at him. He picked up the arm, then turned around and tried to hit her with it, but she knocked it out of his hands with her sword, but then he kicked her in the belly.
"AH!" Karai moaned.
Leo spun around to punch her, but missed as she dodged, then she dodged a kick from him. She dodged a punch from him, then got behind him, then tried to slash him, but missed, then he grabbed her arm and threw her over him.
"AHH!" she yelped. "AH!"
She hit the ground on her back as she flipped forward, then rolled onto her chest.
"OH!" she moaned.
Leo kicked his sword up as he approached Karai, then he caught it.
"I'm sorry, Karai." he said, resting it on his shoulder. "I never wanted it to be this way."
He held it out as she looked up at him, then he held it up, as a Karai bot came up behind him. He raised his sword up, then spun around and slashed the robot in half, turning his shell to Karai, who picked up her sword, then slashed his shell with it.
"AHH!" Leo moaned.
He coughed some blood up, as some poured from his shell, before he fell to his knees.
"Forgive me, Leonardo?" Karai asked softly.
Raph stared at them both.
"LEO! NOOOOO!" he yelled.
Karai turned to him as he charged at her, then he body tackled her, before she kicked him with both feet, sending him flying away.
"UH!" he yelped, before smashing a casing. "AGH!"
Karai charged at him, as he sat up inside the casing, then he picked up a piece of glass and threw it at her, which she sliced open with her sword. He then charged at her, then dodged as she tried to slash him, then he kicked her in the back.
"AHH!" she moaned.
She hit the floor on her side, then Raph jumped up and dived towards her.
"AGHH!" he growled.
He dived down to kick her as she lifted herself up to her knees, then she turned and slashed him across the chest.
"AGGGHHHH!" he yelled, flying away.
Blood came out of his chest as he hit the floor on his head, as Karai got up.
"AH!" Raph moaned, rolling onto his chest. "OH!"
He lifted himself up as blood poured out of him, before he turned and moved to Leo's body.
"Leo... Leo... Agh! Agh!" he moaned.
He died of his wounds and fell onto Leo's body, as Karai stared at them.
"NOOOO!" Elisa yelled.
Karai looked up as she dived towards them, then she back flipped away as Elisa landed near her brothers bodies.
"If you really had honour Karai, you'd have never served someone as evil as the Shredder!" Elisa scowled. "I don't what Leo saw in you!"
"I wish it didn't come to this, Elisabetta." Karai said sincerely.
She sent a slash at Elisa, who blocked it with her left Kama, then Elisa tried to slash her with her right one, but missed as she back flipped away.
"AGHH!" Elisa growled, charging forward.
Karai blocked a slash from her right Kama with her sword, then blocked one from her left, then blocked another from her right, before kicking her in the belly.
"OH!" Elisa moaned, stumbling back.
She gritted her teeth, then dodged a slash from Karai's sword, before she spun around and kicked her in the back.
"OHH!" Karai moaned, stumbling forward.
She turned around and sent a slash at her, knocking her left Kama out of her hand. Elisa then blocked her sword with her right one, locking them together.
"AGHH!" Elisa gritted.
She pulled back, then ducked as Karai tried to slash her, then spun around and tackled her, tripping her up.
"AGH!" Karai yelped, flipping through the air.
She hit the floor on her chest, then Elisa jumped and dived towards her, before she turned around and stabbed Elisa through the chest.
"AGH!" Elisa moaned, dropping her Kama.
Karai kicked her away, then she landed near Leo and Raph's bodies on her shell, as blood poured from her.
"Uh!" Elisa moaned.
She sat up and turned to her brothers while holding her hand over her wound.
"Guys...I'm...sorry for...not...stopping you!" Elisa moaned.
She fell onto her chest and died of her wounds.
Karai stared at the bodies of the three eldest Turtles, feeling a bit remorseful - especially for Leo.
"Karai!" April yelled.
Karai turned to her as she held up a big rocket launcher.
"End of the line!" April said.
Karai turned around to her, then spun her sword around and charged at her.
"Hah!" she yelled.
April fired the rocket launcher at her, making her stop.
"AH!" she gasped.
The rocket hit her, sending her flying away, before she hit the floor on her side, as blood poured from her.
"AGHH!" she moaned, rolling along the floor.
She then stopped on her chest, then tried to get up.
"OH!" she moaned.
April stared at her, as she got to her knees.
"Master...I am finished!" Karai moaned.
She fell onto her chest and died of her wounds.
Shredder laughed as Donnie got up, his right Gatling gun falling off his armour.
"You are the last of your kind, Donatello!" Shredder snarled.
Donnie turned to the Tunneller, hoping his plan was gonna work.
Shredder moved closer to him, then grabbed his shoulders and lifted him up, holding him close to his face.
"And now, I will crush you, like the insignificant worm that you are!" he swore.
"You always did claim victory before you actually won." Donnie recalled, releasing a hidden button on his armour. "This whole attack, was to get you into potion to do this!"
He pressed the button on his armour, then two grappling hooks shot out of the Tunneller, which wrapped around both his and Shredder's armour.
"What?!" Shredder exclaimed, as the chains pulled them tight together. "What is happening?!"
The Tunneller's drill powered up, then the chains began to pull both sets of armour towards it.
"AGH!" Shredder growled. "NO! I am the Shredder!"
The drill began to saw through Donnie's armour.
"AGHHH!" Shredder yelled. "I am the Shedder!"
Donnie jumped out of his armour before the drill got to him, then he landed beside it.
"AGGHHH!" Shredder yelled. "I am-"
The drill began drilling through his armour.
"AGGGHHHH!" he yelled.
The drill fully cut through his armour and chains, then moved to him.
"AGGHHHHH!" he yelled, before the drill disintegrated him.
The drilled powered down as Donnie rested on the remains of both sets of amour.
"It's done." he said, satisfied.
April dropped her rocket launcher and closed her eyes, mourning the other Turtles. She then opened them as Donnie approached her sadly, mourning his siblings.
"My siblings. My poor siblings. This world..." he sighed, turning to her. "..this future...it's a nightmare."
"It was a nightmare, Don. But you, Leo, Raph, Elisa, Cath and Mikey..." April explained, as he closed his eyes. "..you gave us back our future."
Donnie began to phase away again, shocking him as he looked at himself.
"April, it's happening again!" he gasped. "Something's pulling me away! It's stronger this time!"
"Donnie, remember, there's always hope." April said. "No matter what!"
"AGHH!" Donnie yelled, before he vanished.
"And...thank you." April said.
She looked amongst the ruins of the room, being the only survivor of the battle, as the Sun rose up over the now liberated New York City.
A/N: I know some of you were hoping one of the girls would survive, but I felt Donnie's motivation to stop Shredder by losing all his family was necessary. So I'm sorry about that.
