In a Feudal Japan setting, Leo and Usagi climb up a wall of a temple, in navy ninja outfits.
Leo: In the past 24 hours, I've been attacked by enemies I thought were long gone, been transported to a strange new world, and I have no idea what's become of the rest of my family.
Inside, two cat guards walk down a hallway with spears, as Leo peeks down from the rafters.
Usagi moves towards a cell door.
To top this perfect day off...
A cat guard comes up behind him, then he takes off his mask.
..the only ally I have in this whole mess...
Usagi turns around with his hands up, as more cat guards surround him.
..is about to be executed.
One guard ties Usagi's hands up, then they lead him and a cat woman away.
Do you think normal people ever have days like this?
Leo peeks down from the rafters, watching them go.
In the lair, Leo was doing some sword training, while Splinter watched him. He held his right sword out, then pulled it back and held it up diagonally.
Nearby, Donnie was at his computer, talking with April, while Cath was sitting in a chair, reading a medical book. Mikey was on the couch reading a comic book, while Elisa was on the upper level doing kata moves.
"Falling rain kata." Leo said.
He did three slash moves with his sword, crouching down as he did the third.
"The way of harmonising one's self in action; this is the spirt of Yardo." Splinter explained.
Leo turned around sliced off the heads of three candles. He then turned and closed his eyes, while slashing some more one at a time.
"The mind, body, spirt and weapon, working in harmony." Splinter said.
Leo did a few slashes, then raised his sword up.
"Balance is all." Splinter finished.
Leo moved towards some more candles, then sliced their heads off, as Mikey leaned over on the couch.
"I love comics." Mikey said. "You wanna know why I love comics, Leo?"
He held it up, as Leo lowered his sword and sighed.
"I know you wanna know." Mikey said.
"Michelangelo, enough!" Splinter snapped, turning to him. "Leonardo is training! You may join him, since you have too much free time on your hands!"
Mikey scratched the back of his head as he turned to Cath.
"Yeah, Mikey. Or could you keep it down a little? I'm trying to read here!" Cath complained, holding her book up.
"Um..." Mikey muttered, putting his comic down. "I think I hear Donnie calling me. Coming, Donnie."
He turned and jumped off the couch nervously, as Leo turned to more candles, just as the lair began to shake.
"Huh?" he muttered.
"What the shell?!" Cath exclaimed, getting up while putting her book down.
Elisa turned to the others on the lower floor, while Donnie turned around.
"I think we're having an Earthquke!" Donnie gasped.
"An Earthquake?!" Mikey exclaimed, turning around. "Earthquakes always mean something really bad happens in this city!"
"What the shell is going on?!" Elisa exclaimed, jumping down to the lower level.
The river water began to rise up as Donnie turned to it, then a wormhole opened up as it went back to where it was.
"Master Splinter, what's going on?" Leo panicked.
Donnie ran towards the couch. "We've seen that kind of energy before." he recalled, pointing at it.
A large figure came out of the wormhole, which then spread its wings out, showing it was Ultimate Drako.
"Drako?" Splinter gasped.
"And the Daimyo's son." Leo said. "This is what we told you about, Master Splinter. They merged somehow, combined together!"
Raph came out of a room, blocking the light from the wormhole with his forearm.
"All into one ugly package." he said.
"We told you we would return!" Ultimate Drako snarled. "We told you we would have our revenge!"
The wormhole vanished behind him.
Raph began charging at him with his Sais out, spinning them around.
"Revenge this, whack bag!" he roared.
"Raph, wait?!" Elisa warned.
Raph jumped up and dived towards Ultimate Drako, who shot a blast from the Time Scepter at him, which hit Raph as he jumped up to kick him, freezing him stiff.
"AGH!" he yelped.
Ultimate Drako then grabbed him with his tail, then threw Raph across the lair with it.
"AGHH!" Raph yelled.
He hit the pillar with the 'Sewer sweet sewer' sign on, before he hit the floor on his shell.
"As if you could simply fight us?!" Ultimate Drako snarled.
Raph sat up, rubbing his head, as the sign landed beside him.
"We control time and space!" Ultimate Darko snarled, as Raph got up. "With Lord Simultaneous' Time Scepter, we are unbeatable!"
"Someone quick, grab the-" Donnie began.
The Turtles and Splinter all jumped towards Ultimate Drako, who waved the scepter around, stopping them all in mid-air.
"Now we will have our vengeance!" he snarled.
"Leonardo, destroy him first!" Ue-Sama sneered, glaring at Leo.
"No! We agreed, the rat first!" Drako argued. "Then the Daimyo, your Father."
"Then Leonardo!" Ue-Sama said.
"They will all pay, all of them!" Drako declared.
Ultimate Drako held up the scepter, as the end lit up.
"Yes! All of them will learn the meaning of suffering, beyond time and space!" he declared.
He waved the scepter around, then sent a beam forward, which hit Splinter and the Turtles.
"AHH!" Leo yelled.
Leo woke up in a large hole, then sat up.
"Drako!" he gasped.
He turned left, and saw he was face-to-face with a small diplodocus.
"Drako?" he questioned.
He lifted his hand up to touch the diplodocus, who then turned around and ran off.
"Master Splinter?" Leo said, picking up his swords as he got up. "Guys?!"
He turned around, then put one of his swords away, then climbed out of the hole. He then put the other away as he looked around, and saw he was in a place with small hills and weird trees.
"Okay... Drako appears in the lair, then the lair goes away?" Leo questioned. "Or maybe I went away."
He then spotted a village nearby, resembling one from Feudal Japan.
"This looks like Feudal Japan." he said. "I have to find the others. Drako could be-"
Two horses neighed near him as it lifted its front legs up, getting his attention, seeing one had a cat-like woman on, the other a panda-like boy.
"Whoa!" Leo yelped.
Both horses ran off scared, as the cat and panda both fell off them.
"Are you alright?" Leo asked. "You came out of nowhere and-"
The woman got up and held up a sword.
"Ninja scum!" she snarled.
"What?" Leo gasped.
"You won't have him!" the woman vowed. "I don't care how many Ninja Clans come!"
"Ninja Clans?" Leo questioned. "Have who? I think you should clam-"
"You will never live to see another sunrise! So swears Tomoe Ame!" the woman vowed.
She charged at Leo, who looked frantic.
"Stop?! I don't wanna fight you!" he said.
He backed away as she tried to slash him, then ducked as she tried again.
"Ah!" Leo gasped.
Tomoe Ame raised her sword up, then tried to strike him, but he blocked her sword with his own.
"I'm not your enemy." Leo assured.
They both pulled back, then Tomoe Ame growled as Leo backed away, then she followed.
"Ninja deceit!" she growled.
Leo ducked as she tried to slash him, then he blocked her sword with his own as she tried again. He then knocked her sword into the air, then tackled her.
"Ah!" she yelped, hitting the ground.
She turned over slightly as her sword nearly hit her, digging into the ground.
Leo put his swords away and approached her, as she got on her knees in a begging position, with her eyes closed.
"Please, if you have any honor in you Ninja, spare my Lord?" she begged. "Take me instead?"
"I'd like to think of myself as honorable and a Ninja." Leo said.
Tomoe Ame opened her eyes as Leo held out his hand, then she took it and stood up, shocked by his words.
"Forgive me?" she asked. "I am shamed by my actions. I mistook you for..."
The panda boy moaned.
"Ah!" Tomoe Ame gasped.
"Huh?" Leo muttered, as they turned to him.
The boy lay on his back, then Tomoe Ame ran towards him.
"Lord Noriyuki!" she gasped.
Lord Noriyuki sat up as she crouched down beside him.
"My Lord?" she said.
"Who are you guys?" Leo asked, standing over them.
"He is Lord Noriyuki; head of the Geishu Clan." Tomoe Ame explained. "I am his retainer Tomoe Ame."
"Wait...you don't by any chance know a Samurai named...?" Leo began, as he thought this might be his friend Usagi's world.
The ground then began to shake, making them all turn.
"Huh?" Tomoe Ame muttered.
A bunch of hands shot up from the ground, then large moles dressed as Ninjas climbed out of the ground. Leo held up his swords as more moles showed up behind them all, making them turn around. Some then dived into the ground, as others pounced towards Leo, making Tomoe Ame lead Lord Noriyuki away.
Leo slashed his swords at one as it dived over him, then he held them out, blocking another twos claws. He then back flipped away as a fourth rose up from the ground, then pushed his hands against the ground and jumped away, landing on his feet. He fell back onto his shell, as three rose up from the ground all around him, then he spun around to kick them, but missed as they all dived into the ground. He stood upside down, then jumped up as they all tried to grab him, then he kicked one as he jumped after him, knocking him down. He landed crouched down near a flower, then two moles came out of the ground in front of him.
Tomoe Ame led Lord Noriyuki away while looking back, then they stopped and turned around, as one mole came out of the ground in front of them.
"AH!" Tomoe Ame gasped.
She used her sword to block the mole's claws, before she slashed it at him, knocking him away. Another then rose up from the ground, knocking her and Lord Noriyuki away.
"AH!" he yelped.
"AGH!" Tomoe Ame moaned, hitting the ground on her back.
She sat up slightly as moles showed up all around her.
Leo landed on ones back, pinning his top half to the ground.
"What is going on here?!" Leo exclaimed.
Tomoe Ame gasped while moving her legs back to dodge a mole's claws, while blocking another's with a sword.
"The Mogura Ninja..." she said, sending a stab at the first, but missed as it ducked down. "..have come..."
She sent a slash at the second Mogura, but missed as he ducked down into the ground, then she fell onto her back.
"..for Lord Noriyuki."
She turned as a third's hand rose up and grabbed her sword, then rose up from the ground.
"We must protect him!" she said.
A fourth jumped towards her, but she kicked him in the chest, knocking him onto the third, knocking them down.
Lord Noriyuki looked around, as two Moguras rose up from the ground behind him.
"Huh?" he muttered, before a third's hand rose up in front of him. "Ah!"
Leo jumped forward, then jumped again and kicked the third away, just as he got out of the ground, knocking him onto the second. He then grabbed Lord Noriyuki and ran off with him, as the first tried to pounce on them, making him dive into the ground.
"Ah!" Lord Noriyuki said nervously.
He and Leo stared at Tomoe Ame, as five Moguras rose up from the ground all around her.
"Ah!" she yelped.
The Moguras all began digging into the ground around her, then she began to sink beneath the ground.
"AH!" she yelled.
"Tomoe Ame!" Lord Noriyuki cried. "NO!"
He tried to move forward, but Leo held him back.
Tomoe Ame tried to climb from the hole as she kept getting sucked into the ground.
"AGHH!" she screamed, before vanishing.
Leo put his swords away, then ran towards where she'd been, then began digging frantically.
"NOOO!" he yelled.
A Mogura's hand came out, making him move back, before the Mogura climbed out of the ground, followed by another two. Two arrows then hit the ground near them, making them turn left, seeing Usagi and Gen riding towards them on horseback, Gen with a Bow and Arrow.
"AGHHH!" Usagi yelled.
He jumped off his horse with his swords out, then split kicked two of the Mogura, then back flipped away and landed on his feet. He then dodged and got behind the third as he tried to pounce on him, then he kicked him in the back, knocking him down.
Usagi stared at the Mogura, who glared at him on his back, then turned and began digging into the ground, followed by the others as Usagi turned around.
Leo and Usagi stared at each other, as Gen rode his horse towards Lord Noriyuki.
"Usagi?!" Leo gasped.
"Welcome to my world, Leonardo-san." Usagi said, before bowing. "Your presence is fortuitous as it is mysterious."
Gen and Lord Noriyuki walked towards Usagi as he raised his head, Gen pulling his horse with him.
"Lord Noriyuki, I am pleased you are safe." Usagi said, putting his sword away.
"Indeed. Thanks to this Kame Ninja." Lord Noriyuki said, as Leo bowed.
"Usagi, what just happened here?" Leo asked.
Gen spat. "Ninja treachery." he said. "No offense."
"Leonardo-san, Lord Noriyuki has been targeted for assignation by a rival: Lord Hebi." Usagi explained, before he bent down. "Hebi has decreed that whichever Ninja Clan eliminates Lord Noriyuki will win his favour."
He put his hand to his nose, sniffing the dug up dirt.
"The attacks have been relentless." he went on. "Only Tomoe Ame's skill and honor have saved her Lord from the Ninja. Tomoe Ame's sacrifice will not be in vain."
He got to his feet, then turned to Leo.
"Gen and I will escort Lord Noriyuki to the Capital City of Edo. The Shogun is expecting him, and Hebi would not dare continue his attacks under the Shogun's watchful eye." Usagi explained.
He walked towards Lord Noriyuki, then got behind him and turned to Leo.
"And on the way, Leonardo, you can tell us how you came to be here." he said, before he and Lord Noriyuki walked off.
Later, at sunset, Usagi and Gen rode their horses over a small hill, with Leo riding with Usagi, and Lord Noriyuki riding with Gen. Leo had been explaining to Usagi what had happened to him and how he wound up in his world.
"..then, I woke up in that valley. Next thing I knew, I was fighting alongside Tomoe Ame against those Mogura Ninja." Leo finished.
"Drako?!" Usagi snarled angrily. "I had hoped we had seen the last of him."
"I have to find Master Splinter and my siblings, and the Daimyo." Leo said. "Drako and the Ultimate Ninja both want revenge against the Daimyo. The Daimyo? Wait a minute... Usagi, the Daimyo's Warstaff can send me home. If I can get to the Battle Nexus, the Daimyo can open a doorway to my world. I think I can remember the chant that opens the doorway to the Nexus, but my siblings helped me with the symbols."
"I know the ritual." Usagi explained. "I will help you in any way I can, as soon as Lord Noriyuki is under the Shogun's protection."
That night, in a palace, two Moguras threw Tomoe Ame onto the floor of a room, with her hands tied together.
"AH!" she moaned.
She looked up at Lord Hebi, who was a giant snake creature.
"The Geishu Lord should be on his knees before me, not thisss girl." Lord Hebi hissed.
"AH!" Tomoe Ame grunted, trying to break free of the ropes.
A cat like ninja approached her.
"My Lord, we had Noriyuki, but there was...interference." he explained.
"Usssagi!" Lord Hebi hissed.
"Show yourself, Hebi!" Tomoe Ame demanded.
Lord Hebi hissed slightly, as he raised his head up, then moved his head towards her.
"You will be very ussseful, Tomoe Ame." he said.
He sniggered as he approached her, then began to wrap the top half of his body around her.
"Oh, yes. I know of you, and that you are dear to your Lord Noriyuki." he said, trapping her with his body. "Your presssence will deliver Noriyuki right to me, as well as Miyamoto Usssagi. Chizu!"
A small cat ninja came out from behind a pillar.
"My Lord." he said, bowing his head.
"You're Neko Clan will deliver a message to Miyamoto Usssagi for me." Lord Hebi explained. "And if thiss Ninja from the Kame Clan interferersss, eliminate him."
The next morning, Leo, Gen, Usagi and Lord Noriyuki were near the edge of a cliff as birds chirped in the sky. Their horses were nearby, as Leo looked down the cliff, and saw a river down below.
"This is the way to Edo?" he questioned.
"It's a shortcut." Gen explained.
"Your shortcuts will be the end of us, Gennosuke." Usgai said, unimpressed.
Up above, two Neko Ninjas appeared on top of a cliff, then stared down at the party of four.
"Come, let us head back the way we came." Usagi said.
They turned around, just as more Neko Ninjas began to charge at them from Leo's left. He, Usagi and Gen all brought out their swords while staring at them, as more showed up and charged at them, surrounding them and Lord Noriyuki.
"It's an ambush!" Leo realized. "We're trapped!"
Usagi brought out his second sword, then blocked a Neko's sword with it, then kicked him in the chest, knocking him away. Usagi turned to another, then sent a slash at him, but he blocked his sword with his own, then Usagi punched him in the chest. Usagi then backed away as a third came at him, but blocked his sword with his right one, then kicked the Neko in the chest, knocking him away.
More Neko charged towards the battle, as Gen blocked ones sword with his own, while Leo blocked twos swords with both of his, as Lord Noriyuki ran off scared.
"AGHH!" he yelled.
Leo spun around and hit the Neko on his right with his shell, knocking him away, then he kicked the other one in the chest, knocking him down. Gen picked up the third Neko, and then threw him away.
Leo blocked ones sword with his right one, then blocked another's with his left.
Gen ran towards Usagi as they both stared at some Nekos, as more Nekos approached Lord Noriyuki. Gen then jumped over Usagi, then dug his sword into the ground, causing the ground to crack over the Nekos. He then stomped his foot over the crack, causing the Nekos to fall down towards the river.
"AGHHH!" they yelled.
Leo stared at a Neko near Lord Noriyuki, as more charged at Gen and Usagi, as they both turned around, then Gen took out his second sword. Gen blocked ones sword with his right one, then blocked it with his left.
"Whose idea..." he grunted, locking both his swords with the Neko's, before the Neko backed away. "..was this anyway?"
He blocked another's sword with his right, then blocked it with his left.
Usagi ducked as one tried to slash him. "Yours." he answered, blocking the sword with his right.
He sent a slash at the Neko wit his left sword, who blocked it with his own, then blocked a slash from him with his right.
"You and your shortcuts." he mumbled, blocking a slash from another with his left sword.
He jumped as the first tried to slash him in the legs, then he sliced the his sword with his own, then kicked him in the chest.
Lord Noriyuki stood against a large rock, as Leo blocked a Neko's sword with his own, then kicked him in the chest, knocking him down. Leo turned around and blocked another's sword with his left one, before a third pounced on him.
"Ah!" Leo yelped, dropping his swords.
The Neko pinned him to the ground, then pulled back and brought out his sword, then tried to stab Leo with it, but Leo caught it with his hands.
"Leonardo-san?!" Lord Noriyuki gasped.
Leo held the sword back, then turned as two Nekos approached Lord Noriyuki, who looked terrified.
"Hold...on!" Leo grunted.
He kept hold of the sword, then threw it and the Neko into the two near Lord Noriyuki, knocking them all out.
"OH!" they moaned, hitting the ground.
Leo approached Lord Noriyuki and touched his shoulder.
On the rock near them, stood Chizu and two other Nekos.
"Order the Ninja on the path to pull back, and the archers to move forward!" Chizu ordered.
He turned and walked past his two men.
Usagi blocked a Neko's sword with his right, then tried to slash him with his left, but the Neko blocked it, but then Usagi spun around and kicked him in the chest, knocking him away.
Gen ducked as another tried to slice him, then he rammed the Neko in the chest with his head, knocking him away. The Neko landed on his back next to the first, then he sat up as a horn rang out, then all the Neko turned and ran off.
"What is this?" Usagi wondered, confused.
"Ha! Cowards!" Gen mocked.
"I don't like this, guys." Leo said, getting their attention. "Something's up."
On top of a cliff near the rock, a bunch of Neko stood, as one held up his sword, then a few with Bows and Arrows showed up nearby. They aimed at the party of four, who all looked up at them, making Leo gulp slightly.
"There's only one way out." Usagi said, turning to the river. "But it's somewhere wet."
The Neko Archers fired their arrows, hitting the ground near Gen.
"Wait, you're joking?" he asked hopefully. "I hate..."
Usagi ran and pushed him down towards the river.
"..water!" he yelled.
Usagi dived after him as a few arrows nearly hit him.
Leo deflected a few arrows with his swords, before he put them away and picked up Lord Noriyuki.
"Uh!" he gulped, before Leo back flipped towards the river. "AGHH!"
They both dived into the river, as Gen struggled to swim, then Usagi grabbed him. He and Leo swam the four of them towards the surface, as a few arrows hit the water, slowing down as they did.
They rose up from the water, then walked towards some nearby grass, Gen coughing slightly as he did.
"We must keep moving." Usagi said, as they walked onto the grass, before he stopped. "Those were Neko Clan Ninja."
The others stopped as they all touched their knees.
"They will not give up so easily." Usagi said.
"Easily?" Gen questioned, as a Neko shot an arrow at them. "You think that was..?"
Leo brought out a sword and turned around, slicing the arrow in half as he did. The front end then landed near Gen's feet, as he and Usagi stared at it.
"..easy." Gen finished.
Usagi spotted a note wrapped around the arrow, which he then picked up the arrow.
"Quickly, before we are followed." he said.
He, Gen, Leo and Lord Noriyuki turned and ran off towards a forest nearby.
Later, in the forest, Gen kept his eyes out for any Ninjas, as Lord Noriyuki sat near a tree, staring at Usagi with Leo, who held the note.
"Tomoe Ame is alive!" Usagi said. "She is to be executed for crimes against Lord Hebi."
"NO! We must rescue her!" Lord Noriyuki said frantically.
Usagi turned to him.
"Lord Noriyuki, I may be a stranger in your world, but this is obviously a trap." Leo reasoned.
"Leonardo is correct." Usagi agreed. "Your safety is paramount. Tomoe Ame would tell you the same thing."
"I do not care!" Lord Noriyuki snapped, getting up. "I am Lord of the Geishu Clan! I am giving you an order! If you will not aid me, I will free her myself!"
He ran off past Usagi, who turned to Leo.
"Leonardo-san, your family needs you." Usagi said. "I cannot ask you to-"
"Of course I will help you, Usagi." Leo cut in. "What are friends for?"
That night, as lighting went over the sky of Lord Hebi's palace, Leo, Usagi, Gen and Lord Noriyuki stared at it from on top of a hill. They all also saw a large campsite, full of Neko Ninjas, with some sparing together.
"We should be in Edo." Gen said. "This is impossible! There are too many. No Samurai can fight his way through that."
Two Nekos locked their swords together, as more lighting went off in the sky.
Gen spat and huffed. "Or get paid enough to try." he said.
"We might not have to." Leo said. "If we can't fight the ninja, maybe we can join them."
The others turned to him, as he thought of his plan.
At the camp, several Nekos stood by the tents or fires, while two walked over towards some bushes. One then stopped as he heard a noise, then they moved towards a bush, when a small diplodocus ran past them both towards the camp, roaring softly as it did. They both looked confused, when Leo and Usagi grabbed one each and pulled them into the bushes.
"Ah!" one yelped.
Leo and Usagi began beating them both up, then Leo and Usagi put on their uniforms and came out of the bush, despite the fact Usagi was a bit short, and Leo was a bit large.
"Ah." Leo said disgusted, waving his hand. "Eww. I guess doing laundry is a Neko Ninja skill."
"Hmm?" Usagi said, looking at his disguise. "Ninja garb. I feel cloaked and dishonor. We will speak of this to no one."
They both walked towards the camp, as a few Nekos spotted them, being obvious to their disguises. They both approached the palace, then ran around a wall, then stopped when they saw two cat guards by the main gate.
"Hebi's castle gate is too well guarded." Usagi said. "What now?"
"More Ninja treachery." Leo answered.
Soon, both of them were climbing up a wall of the palace, towards a top window.
In the forest, Gen and Lord Noriyuki both sat around a fire, Gen eating some noodles with chop sticks, as Lord Noriyuki looked worried.
"So, uh... I don't suppose your interested in a small wager on the outcome of this little adventure?" Gen asked. "Hmm?"
He heard a noise, making him turn right.
"Do you hear that?" he asked.
A Mogura rose up from the ground behind him, then grabbed him.
"AH!" Gen yelped, as the Mogura pulled him below ground.
"Gennosuke!" Lord Noriyuki gasped, getting up.
Another Mogura showed up and grabbed his legs from beneath the ground.
"AGHHH!" Lord Noriyuki yelled, as the Mogura dragged him below ground.
In the palace, two cat guards with spears patrolled down a hallway full of cell doors, then Leo peeked down from the rafters above. He then grabbed the board and swung forward on it, landing on the next one, as the guards walked off past a set of stairs.
Usagi peeked out from behind the stairs, then turned and ran towards a cell, seeing Tomoe Ame tied up inside.
"Tomoe Ame?" he gasped.
He leaned against the door, when a guard showed up behind him.
"Stop!" the guard yelled. "Ninja scum! How dare you enter Lord Hebi's fortress!"
Usagi took off his mask and turned around.
"I am no Ninja!" he said. "I am Samurai!"
Tomoe Ame woke up as they began to slash their weapons together.
"Huh?" she muttered.
"Hyah!" Usagi yelled.
He kicked the guard towards the door, knocking it down, then he stood in the doorway with his sword.
"Usagi? No!" she cried, as he ran towards her. "What are you doing here? Please tell me you didn't bring Lord Noriyuki here?"
"Your Lord is safe, Tomoe Ame." Usagi assured, getting behind her.
He sliced the ropes up, freeing her, then put his sword away.
"Please, hurry. We have little time." Usagi said, taking her hand.
They both ran off towards the doorway, but then saw half a dozen cat guards standing on the other side.
"Less time than you think, Samurai!" one snarled.
Usagi brought out one of his swords, when one of the guards grabbed Tomoe Ame and pulled her towards him.
"Ah! Usagi!" she gasped, as the guard held a sword near her neck.
Usagi stared at them, as more guards showed up. Seeing he was outnumbered, he took out his other sword, then held his hands up and surrendered. Two guards took a sword each, then two more held their spears close to him. One guard then came up behind him with a piece of rope.
"Take this scum to Lord Hebi." another said.
The first guard tied up Usagi's hands.
"He will be quite pleased indeed." the other said.
The guards led both Usagi and Tomoe Ame away down the hallway.
Up above, Leo peeked down from the rafters, knowing it wasn't the time to act.
In the throne room, the guards led Usagi and Tomoe Ame towards a few Neko Ninjas, who turned around while holding Gen and Lord Noriyuki, who had their hands tied. The Nekos turned and walked off, as Lord Noriyuki turned around.
"My Lord, no!" Tomoe Ame gasped.
The guards pushed her and Usagi towards them both, where Lord Hebi was.
"Those with honor are so predictable." Lord Hebi said, raising his head up. "So easily manoeuvred. So pathetic."
He hissed as he moved down to Lord Noriyuki, who stepped forward.
"Lord Hebi, is it me you want. Please, spare the others?" he begged, getting to his knees. "I beg you."
Lord Hebi moved around him, trapping him with his body.
"Silly child. With you gone, I will pillage your Clan's land, and all its treasures." he hissed.
He moved away slightly, then put his whole body in front of Lord Noriyuki.
"It will be...beautiful." he said.
Unknown to him, Leo was on a support rafter above him in the shadows, before he jumped down from it, and landed on Lord Hebi's head.
"UH!" he moaned, his chin hitting the floor.
Leo jumped off him towards Lord Noriyuki, then turned around as Lord Hebi shook his head and raised it up.
"It's guys like you that give us honorable reptiles a bad name!" Leo snarled, taking his mask off.
Usagi hit the guard behind him with his back, then he kneed the one behind Tomoe Ame in the chest as she ducked, knocking him towards the one behind Gen. Gen turned as the third fell over, then he jumped back and pinned the second on the floor, before cutting the ropes with the sword, freeing his hands.
Two came at Tomoe Ame, as Usagi stood in front of her, then he kicked the first in the chest, knocking him away. Tomoe Ame rolled away, then Usagi ducked as the second tried to stab him with a spear, but then he used the end to cut the ropes around his hands, freeing them. He grabbed the spear as he spun around, then sliced open Tomoe Ame's ropes with it, freeing her hands. He then lifted the spear up to block another's, then he grabbed the second spear, then kicked the first guard in the chest, knocking him down.
"OH!" he moaned.
Usagi spun around and whacked the second in the leg with his right spear, tripping him up. He spun the other spear around above him, then threw it away, landing point down in front of Tomoe Ame, who picked it up.
Leo and Lord Noriyuki moved away as Lord Hebi moved his body, glaring at them both.
"The Kame!" Lord Hebi hissed. "You will pay for this afront!"
Leo took out his swords. "I hate to point this out, but you have no arms." he said, pointing at him. "This isn't gonna be much of a fight."
Lord Hebi moved his body around, trapping Leo with it.
"AHH!" Leo yelped.
Lord Hebi squeezed him tight, before throwing him away.
"AGHH!" Leo yelled, hitting a wall.
He fell to the floor.
"Oh!" he moaned. "Note to self: Arms are overrated."
He got up as Usagi turned around to Lord Hebi.
"You do not fight alone, Leonardo-san." Usagi said.
"Nor do I, ronan." Lord Hebi hissed.
A door opened up behind Leo, then two guards came running in. A door opened across the room, then more guards came storming in, along with a few Neko Ninjas. They all jumped or charged forward, then the Neko Ninjas landed in front of Tomoe Ame, who blocked both their swords with her spear, then tried to slash the second with it, but missed as he jumped up.
Usagi blocked a guard's sword with his, then kicked him in the chest, knocking him away. He then blocked another's sword with his spear, then knocked his sword into the end with the pole end of it, then elbowed the guard in the chest.
"OH!" the guard grunted.
Usagi grabbed one of his sword holders, which the guard had in his robes, then put the spear through the robes.
"AH!" the guard yelped.
Another came up behind him, before the spear went through his robes too.
"AH!" Usagi yelled.
He ran forward then dug the spear into the wall, pinning both guards to it, then he took their swords from them. He took one from its holder, then sliced off the top of their hair, shocking them.
"Ah!" the first gulped.
They both passed out from shock.
Usagi put the sword away, then jumped away as a third tried to hit him with his spear.
Lord Noriyuki lay scared in a corner, as Lord Hebi hissed at him, as Leo dived towards them.
"AHH!" he yelled.
He landed between the two Lords, then sent a slash at Lord Hebi, making him back away.
"Yah!" he yelled.
Lord Hebi moved back to the opposite corner, then used his tail to send his lying board towards Leo, which hit him.
"AH!" he grunted, as it pinned him on the ground.
He dug one of his swords into it to prevent it from crushing him, then he rolled out from under it, as Lord Hebi pounced forward, smashing it. Leo turned and tried to slash him, but he moved around Leo, then Leo spun around to slice again, but missed, then Lord Hebi stared at him.
"As I said before..." he said.
Leo tried to slash him, but missed as he moved around him.
"..pathetic." he hissed, as Leo turned around.
Gen jumped up with a pair of swords and slashed a guard's spear with them both, making him drop it. The spear hit Gen's foot, then he kicked it up, landing near his cut off horn, then he leaned back as two guards came at him from behind, sending them flying away.
"OH!" they moaned.
The spear fell off his head, then he rammed the first guard with his head, knocking him through a slide door.
A Neko landed on the floor, then Tomoe Ame charged at him, then tried to hit him with her spear, but missed as he jumped up. Two more then landed around her, then one spun around and kicked her in the back.
"AGH!" she yelled.
She landed and rolled towards a sword that leaned against a wall, then picked it up, as a Neko knocked her spear out of her hands with his sword. She turned around to him while lying on the floor, then blocked his sword with her own, while turning to Lord Noriyuki, who stared at her worriedly.
"Tomoe Ame!" he cried.
She turned to the Neko, then gritted her teeth as she sat up, then knocked his sword away slightly while getting up, but he managed to keep hold of it. She then sent a few slashes at him, knocking his sword out of his hands.
"AH!" he gasped.
Tomoe Ame ducked as Usagi jumped over her, kicking the Neko in the chest, knocking him towards the floor, as another stood near a pillar.
"AH!" the first moaned.
The second brought out some Shurikens and threw them at Usagi, who deflected them with his sword. Usagi then turned and grabbed a guard's spear as he came up behind him, then sliced off the end of the spear, then threw the end at the Neko, hitting his forearm cloth, pinning him on the pillar.
Tomoe Ame tackled the guard, knocking him onto his back, then she and Usagi stood back-to-back, with their swords raised, then they blocked a Neko's sword each.
Leo stared at Lord Hebi, as he moved his body towards him, then Leo dived away as he tried to hit him with his head. Leo landed near a window crouched down, then turned around, when Lord Hebi's tail wrapped around his right foot, lifting him up.
"Ah!" he yelped.
Lord Hebi moved his head towards Leo, who kicked him in the jaw with his other foot, making him let Leo go, who jumped down towards the floor. Lord Hebi roared as he raised his head up, then lowered it to strike Leo, who raised his sword up, getting it stuck in Lord Hebi's mouth. He pulled the sword from Leo's hands, then turned and threw it away, landing near Lord Noriyuki, then he whacked Leo with his tail, knocking him against the wall.
"AH!" Leo moaned.
Lord Hebi moved towards him with his mouth open, then Leo grabbed both halves of it, seeing a lot of sharp teeth as he hissed.
"Nice breath!" Leo grunted.
Usgai and Tomoe Ame stood close together, before Usagi turned to Leo.
"Leonardo!" he gasped.
Leo kept Lord Hebi's mouth away from him, turning slightly as his tongue got near him, when one of Leo's swords got near Lord Hebi's neck. He pulled his head back, and saw it was Lord Noriyuki.
"What?!" he exclaimed.
"I will not stand by and watch you harm my friends, Hebi!" Lord Noriyuki snarled.
He backed away towards Leo, who got up, as Lord Hebi backed away.
"Look around you, villain?! You are defeated!" Lord Noriyuki said.
Lord Hebi turned around, as Gen ran onto a guard's back, who was crawling away, knocking him out.
"Ah!" the guard moaned.
Usagi and Tomoe Ame stood near a few knocked out guards and Nekos, as Gen came up beside them, putting his swords away. Lord Hebi laughed as they all turned to him, before turning to Leo and Lord Noriyuki.
"You think me; defeated?!" he scoffed. "Even if you should make it out of the fortress, you are surrounded by hundreds of my Ninja."
Tomoe Ame, Usagi and Gen all turned as more Nekos showed up in the main doorway to the room.
"I will decide who is defeated!" Lord Hebi declared.
He laughed evilly as Leo and Lord Noriyuki stared at him, before a horn noise made him stop.
"Huh?" he muttered.
"Do you hear that, Hebi?" Lord Noriyuki asked. "It sounds as if the Shogun wishes to speak with you."
He and Leo moved away from the window, as Lord Hebi approached it, then put his head through it.
"What? NOOOO!" he yelled.
He saw the Shogun's army, which was made up of brown cats, marched into the Neko's camp outside.
"The Shogun's army?!" Lord Hebi gasped, turning around. "No! NOOO!"
The Nekos inside all turned and ran off scared.
"Stop?! Come back and fight?!" Lord Hebi demanded. "Cowards?!"
He hissed angrily, while turning to Lord Noriyuki.
"Noriyuki, the tables may have turned, but you will not leave here alive!" he swore angrily.
He moved his head towards Lord Noriyuki, when Leo jumped up and kicked his head, knocking him down.
"AH!" he moaned.
He lifted his head up and stared at Leo and Lord Noriyuki.
"This is not over, Noriyuki!" he promised.
He pushed a door open with his tail, then slide through it on his belly. Leo then began to chase after him, as everyone else watched.
"Let him go, Leonardo." Usagi said, holding his hand up, getting Leo to stop. "With the Shogun's army outside, there is nowhere he can hide."
Tomoe Ame ran over to Lord Noriyuki.
"My Lord, I thought I'd never see you again." she said.
"If you are to thank anyone, Tomoe Ame, then thank Usagi, and Gen, and Leonardo." Lord Noriyuki said, as the former two came up beside her. "For it not for him, the Geishu Clan would be destroyed."
He turned to Leo and bowed his head before him, then Usagi and Tomoe Ame did the same, making Leo blush embarrassingly, putting his hand behind his head.
"You are an honorable warrior, Leonardo-san." Lord Noriyuki said. "I am forever in your debt."
"Thank you, my friend." Leo said, as they both bowed.
Gen turned around and touched his chest, as everyone turned to him.
"I'm done with adventures for today. I need food." he said.
He walked off, as Usagi turned to Leo, remembering his promise to get to the Battle Nexus.
"And now, Leonardo, there is the matter of your predicament." Usagi said.
The next morning, Leo and Usagi both stood near a rock near a river. Usagi drew the symbols for the Battle Nexus on it, then put his hands together and chanted, while backing away towards Leo. Water rose up from near the rock as Leo chanted as well, then it turned into a portal to the Battle Nexus, before they opened their eyes.
"I can't ask you to come with me, Usagi." Leo said.
"You do not have to ask, my brother." Usagi assured, holding his hand up. "I am going with you."
He turned to Leo and smiled.
"As you say, 'what are friends for'." he quoted.
Leo smiled, before he dived into the portal, then Usagi dived after him, before the portal closed behind them.
