Chapter 17 The Date

A few hours later, Bobby and Jen took a jump jet to New York City for their date. Bobby was wearing jeans, a blue shirt, and tennis shoes and Jen was wearing jeans, a purple shirt, and tennis shoes. They put on the jet's cloaking shield and parked in a park before they headed into the city.
Bobby and Jen took in the sights, grabbed a few burgers for dinner, saw a movie, took in the sights, went ice skating, and then ate ice cream and returned to the park. Overall it was a good date.
The two heroes were heading back to the jet, when a dozen men armed with baseballs and small laser pistols appeared and surrounded them. The men looked like they belonged to a street gang.
"Give us your money and valuables and we won't hurt you!" Barked one of the men.
Bobby and Jen exchanged looks and burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" Asked one of the men.
"Oh you guys just have the worst luck." Said Bobby before he and Jen transformed.
A few minutes later Bobby and Jen returned to the plane and took off. The police arrived at the park some time later after receiving a anonymous call and found a dozen men from a local street gang unconscious and tied up.
Bobby and Jen returned to Gamma Base, where they shared a quick kiss and returned to their rooms.
