Hey guys, sorry for being gone so long, been dealing with some things as of late, new work to get used to, having to put one of my cats down as she's unable to eat thanks to being allergic to her teeth. I'm just trying to type to get rid of some thoughts in my head, which may be more emotionally filled. Anyway, I was thinking about this, but I'll talk about it more at the end of the chapter.

RWBY belongs to Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum, while the OCs currently are my own.

Making it back to the resort, after getting used to my new eye, I could see the haze of darkness flowing from the various fallen Grimm that my friends slew. It seemed odd how it flowed from the fallen corpses, but it was rather soothing to watch, but I could see my friends cleaning their hands of the dark ash blood. Then, I noticed that Lilic turned around and bounced on her feet, making me wave my hands to her, so she started to run towards me with the intent of hugging; I opened my arms, and she tackled me to the ground.

"You're alive!" She cried out, holding me tightly. "When Stephen told us you fell, we were worried you wouldn't be able to get back. So what happened down there?"

"Not much," I said, getting her off back onto my feet. "Found out it was a former base for the Faunus Revolution, somehow related to the parents of the current and future White Fang leaders, lost an eye."

"What!" Candie and Lilic cried out, hearing the eye part.

"Funny story for that, I'll tell you when we get my new eye more adjusted. But, unfortunately, I still see red with this eye a bit."

"Okay, you're going to be needing to explain that more."

"Once when everyone is, either we do it here for the party, or we are heading back."

Candie nodded her head while we get onto our feet and made our way inside. It was a lot cleaner than when it was...

"How long was I gone?" I asked them, looking between them all.

"Ten hours," Stephen says while looking at his phone.

"Did my fight with the Shaman take that long?"

"Shaman?" Lilic asks, turning towards me.

"Bastard shocked me with a bolt of lightning, which shut off my arm from moving until I self-started it or got shocked again. Hurts like a bitch."

"You swore!"

I look at Leroy, the one who pointed towards me as if I killed a person, while the rest were in shock. I blinked, looking between them, trying to figure out why they thought I never swore. Shaking my head, we discussed the resort, with them signaling Atlas that we completed the job. It seemed that it'd be a day before they're able to pick us up, so I overlooked the corpses.

"Tomorrow, they'll be here," Lilic says, sighing, before looking at me. "Now, explain the eye."

"During my fight with the Shaman Grimm," I said, blinking for a second. "Okay, before I start talking about it, I came across a humanoid Grimm I'll call Agony for now."

"Humanoid Grimm?" Stephen asks, taking out a notepad. "What traits do they have?"

"Two significant details to them is that they scream," I stated as he writes it down. "I don't know what it would due to an average person, but it didn't affect me at all; besides that, it's able to stretch out its claw-like arms in a sweeping motion."

"That doesn't sound good at all," Lilic says, rubbing her eyes. "But it moved around like an ordinary human?"

"Slightly spastic, but yeah, pretty much. But the Shaman was slightly different, as it was able actually to speak if only a tiny bit."

They nodded their heads and started to set stuff down, preparing themselves to stay out to make sure no more Grimm was walking around while I dealt with working my new eye out. Looking around the place, I could feel a bit of darkness coming off of everyone; probably what they're able to see is negativity. I decided to try this and looked around, seeing a small back of glowing dots where everyone is at, which is pretty cool to make sure no one was listening.

Looking around more, I could see a wave of red moving near, and no one was close to it, so I decided to use my PipBoy for a second to contact the rest of the group.

"Is there anyone else near the southern area of the Resort?" I asked, getting 'no's in response. "Then I'll head in that direction to see what's going on over there."

I used my kicks to send me flying to the area to see what's going on, making it to the other location in a few minutes, taking a look at who was there, being a small pack of Creeps. I smiled and kept an eye on them before pulling out my blade and felling down, impaling the first one before me. They all backed off before going invisible, but I could still see them, which let me pull out my Nevermore Hatchling and started to shoot at them, hitting each one in their heads, killing the pack in a few seconds.

"Seven Grimm, Seven kills," I said, smiling, not seeing anymore around. "This may make me a bit more dangerous if anyone had an invisibility device or semblance."

I smiled before feeling something above me, looking up to see a baby Nevermore just sitting on the tree, looking cute. It flew off, which I didn't take care of, before looking around with my Grimm Eye, not seeing Grimm anymore. I turned back around to head inside, sending a message through my PipBoy that it was just a band of Creeps and collected all of my loot, being scales, possibly being useful for a diver suit. Food for thought, but I was able to jump back to the main building, landing close to Leroy, who jumped and pointed at me.

"How the fuck are you able to do that?" Leroy asks as I smile.

"Well, I compress my leg suspension and uses it against the ground like it's being punched, and it lets me bound distances. And if I use that feature in both my legs and arms, I can make small pockets of airbursts that can either put out small fires or could easily fracture bones on a non-aura active being."

"Slightly scared of you now."

"Good, let's get some food until tomorrow."

He nods, and we head inside to get some dinner, which looks like it will be some MREs, so I grabbed mine for being mac and cheese. Getting one of the heating packets warming up with some water, puts it into the bag, and let it cook itself while enjoying some bacon and warm water. I watched the rest, slightly annoyed about the food they have to eat, as I ate mine without arguing.

Once everyone was done, Lilic and I went out to do a final sweep for the night, which was nice to hang out with the best Faunus girl I got to know and talk to. Both girls are worth dating between her and Penny because she is an adorable girl with a cute personality, while the other was a girl that seems like she needed some love due to the world. Once we were out of range of everyone else, I rubbed her back, making her hold onto me and crying into my chest for a bit.

"You have no idea how worried I was when you didn't come back from your dungeon run," she says, calming down a bit. "And after hearing you losing your eye, I don't think it's that I could handle the thought if you were gone from us."

I hold her close, rubbing her back as she cried. My eye is starting to hurt a bit, making me grab it and open it up, seeing significant negativity coming off her.

"Once we get some more material and see if I can make a model two for my armor, you don't have to worry."

Lilic nodded, and we get back after our sweep, making her get to her bed to sleep in while I take the couch. I fell asleep rather quickly, as the next day already rolled by, making me get up from the sofa, popping my robotic spine. Heading down, I saw a pair of green swimshorts with my name on them before picking them on and putting them on. I smiled as I saw the rest of them resting by the beach; Lilic in a purple sports one-piece, Candie wore a bright blue bikini top with side ties, while both Leroy and Stephen wore swim trunks with a shirt.

I took a seat next to Lilic, smiling at her as she smiled back.

"Your eye looks different," she says, making me pick up a reflective surface, seeing my eye glowing a bit orange.

"More Grimm-Like," I answered before hearing a whistle.

Turning around, I could see the General with the owner and crew, looking around the place smiling.

"Hellow there, General," I said, getting a nod back. "Did you bring the doctor with you?"

"He's currently at the bullhead to make sure any repairs are going to be needed to the electrical system," Ironwood says as we nod. "Now, are you enjoying yourselves?"

"I barely showed up, but I can see some people are enjoying themselves," I answered, with Lilic nodding her head in agreement.

"Good, you got three hours, then we have to leave. Alpha, head to the Doctor to make sure everything is running fine."

"Of course, look cute, by the way, Lilic."

I got up and made my way to the Bulkhead to see what the Doctor needs, and I could locate him with Penny resting on it. I waved my hand, getting a couple of waves back before I sit down next to them.

"Good to see you again, Alpha," Penny says, smiling.

"Same here, Penny, and hello, Doctor," I said as he holds my head, looking at my eye. "Yeah, I lost my robotic eye during a fight against a Wind-Agony named Shaman."

"Agony?" He asks as I spawned a voice box.

"Yeah, Humanoid Grimm that screams and stretches their arms to attack. This one seemed to be able to speak, so it was quite old, and it's able to use both thunder and wind, but I was only able to get wind nanobots from it."

"I see; well, we'll record the incident and investigate the voice box; for now, what happened with your eye to go orange?"

"So, since I lost my robotic eye, I was able to get a Grimm Eye to replace it with some remnant with my mechanical eye. Do you think you can do something with my eye to fix it?"

Doctor Pelodina nodded his head, took my Grimm eye out, and worked on it while I sat next to Penny. She made her swords float around as the blades moved around the place; she reviews its movements and twitches her fingers. I enjoyed watching her with the slight lack of depth perception but sighed, annoyed about the conflict I'm having right now. I do love Penny, she is a fantastic gal, but I don't know what her thoughts are of me. But, then, Lilic, a cute girl, I might add, is technically closer to my spirit age; though my body is nearly thrice her age, she doesn't seem too worried about it.

It felt weird, and I don't know if I should expect anything about it before I felt a hand on my shoulder, making me turn to see the Doctor with my new eye. I leaned back for him to go ahead and install it into my head, which went by painlessly, and I rolled my eye, looking around with it. It still had the red glare with the haze, but I could zoom in with the vision, getting a better view of anything at range.

"Penny went to the changing room so she can get changed, leaving us a bit to talk," the Doctor says, making me sigh.

"I'm having a hard situation in my head Doc," I said, getting a nod from him. "My heart makes me like two different people Penny and Lilic, but I don't know who I should honestly date."

"I see your problem," he says, rubbing his forehead. "I can't give you an answer for that, as Science can't answer the danger that is of Love. What I can suggest in doing is see how your heart goes, and if Penny does admit she loves you, I hope you can respect her decision that you're the one she loves."

I nodded my head before getting up and started making my way to the beach, stretching a bit, before seeing Penny in a light aqua, frilled bikini, looking cute on her. I watched everyone as I don't know if I could swim in the water, so I used ice to make some small piles of ice and snow, then shave the ice-making some ice cones, which is pleasant as Candie's hand candy syrup, so we had some flavoring for it.

We all started enjoying our shaved ice cones; I sat and watched Leroy and Stephen tossing balls around while Penny dealt with having Candie and Lilic make sure she didn't lose her top, leaving me to enjoy the sweetness of watching everyone having fun. Finally, sighing, I got up and walked off, deciding to take the time to overlook my items and make sure my equipment adequately maintained everything. Finally, I was able to find a nice quiet place, which I used my device to replace the swimming trunks with my pants.

Pulling out my sword first, I made sure the edge was still sharp, which a few parts weren't, so I took a whetstone and started to sharpen both edges to make sure there is no more dullness to it. Then I went ahead and checked out both my revolver and rifle, glad to see there isn't much cleaning for it, so I made sure there was no excess black powder for it. Of course, the gun didn't need much with the cleaning since I didn't have much room to use it properly, but nothing is wrong with making sure they would still function.

From there, I went over my armor, which was the Grimm Poncho, trying to see where I can mark up a new set of armor. I know I had the Great War armor for this, but I want to make sure we can make a good deal with the armor before getting a message. Then, opening up my Pipboy, it was a message from Candie, which I was about to open before getting a call, which I answered.

"Alpha here," I answered as a video started.

"Hey, there, boss," one of the Faunus I hired says, waving his hand.

"... Never actually go your names, have I?" I asked, getting a no. "Right, I'll just call you Alex and the other Alexis for now, so what do you need?"

"We got some advancement with the armor," Alex says, smiling. "We were able to come up with a rough idea on increasing the Grimm Pelts into the Leather as well as making up with a rough concept for Grimm Armor as well."

"That is good progress; when should we expect a prototype for the leather?"

"Give us a couple of days, and you'll have yourself a couple of different leather ideas. First, we used some Grimm claws to make a rough leathering knife and used older techniques. Then we got to try some machinery, but I don't think it'll work as well."

"Alright, but we'll talk about it when we get back. What's Alexis doing right now?"

"She's talking with the local White Fang leader about some additional assistance with the production of the Leather and see how it'll go."

"Hopefully, they don't mind it, but it'll be difficult for now; we should be back later tonight, so if you do have a small sample ready, let me know then."

"Understood, boss, see you soon."

I nod my head, ending the call before looking at the message Candie sent me, curious about what it's about.

'Hey Alpha, figured you'd be off doing something,' Was the start of it, which I nodded to. 'Just want to let you know we're about to head and, so we want to make sure you're on the flight with us real quick.'

"Thanks for the message Candie, I'll be there in a couple of seconds."

Making sure I got everything, I used my legs to head over there, seeing that I was a bit away from the Bulkheads, so I shifted my leg in the air to see what I could do. Hitting the air, expecting nothing to happen, I changed directions mid-flight, letting me experiment as I fly towards them, landing down next to the ship. Smirking, I nodded my head at the development before hopping onto the Bulkhead, sat next to Leroy before looking towards my Pipboy, seeing the quest was done and was replaced with [By Skin and Bones] quest.

[Now that you're done with riding the beaches of Grimm, you got a new thing to look forward to. Armor! Test out the leathers and see what they have for you?]

Nodding my head, we took flight and watched over the waves as we make our way to Atlas. My eye noticed plenty of red spots across the islands that we pass by, even over Menagerie, seeing the records, deciding to make an impromptu drop.

"Pick me up in a day," I said, as they look at me before I walked out and dropped down to Menagerie, causing some cries.

I landed in the waters near the shores before swimming over to it, glad I don't get affected by the water. Once to the beaches, I saw that everyone was staring at me, mostly in confusion, before I walked across the sand, using the fan to dry myself off. Looking around the place, they seemed to keep their eyes on me, mostly trying to figure out what I'm doing there before I looked at the messages again.

Nodding to myself and basic knowledge of Menagerie, I took this as an opportunity to look through the local wares and purchase some items for myself. First, I visited some local stalls to see what the local cuisine was like, seeing a heavy seafood base with rice and noodles while imported goods like bread and butter. Then, deciding to try the smoked fish jerky, which was pretty good, I ate it while I was choosing to get some clothing there was well, looking great in a pair of shorts with a button-up vest, before locating the Belladonna household.

I turn to my side, seeing a black-haired woman wearing a long black dress with a white dress underneath and a simple smile on her face.

"Hello," she says as I wave my hand. "What brings you to Menagerie?"

"I need to drop something and fell out to do so," I answered in an agreeable answer.

"Is that why a Bullhead is above the island right now?" she asks as I nod.

I hand her the image I found to her, in which she laughed a bit before putting it between her exposed cleavage, after folding it a bit, and invites me into the house. One that I was willing to enter, primarily for seeing plenty of baby Blake images and more of the story for the idea and what they're for. Once inside, I looked around the rather large building, seeing different kinds of pictures of her, Gira, and Blake, seeing the adorable baby girl holding her favorite baby toy.

"You have a good eye on pictures," she says as I turn around. "She loves her little yellow dragon."

"I'm calling this foreshadowing for now," I said before she sighs. "I have to ask, why did the image have your's and your husband's names on it, Mrs. Belladonna?"

"Our parents thought it was a good idea to have our names on it, as they were getting done with the Great War, they wanted to have us remember them with our terms."

"I see; well, I have a Taurus and Kahn to locate as I got a message for them as well. Found them while doing a culling at the nearby resort island."

"Oh, someone accepted the mission from Atlas?"

"Yep, I was an extension as there were some ruins that needed to be explored, where I found that image and audio recordings. It seemed to be an old Faunus Resistance base, though I'll leave a part of the gold here."

"Thank you."

I nodded my head and extended my hand, pouring some of the gold out of my hand, making her eyes widen, leaving about two pounds there. She gave me a small hug, which I had returned before she lets go, and I waved her goodbye, letting her be so she can talk with Gira before I stopped.

"By the way," I start, turning to look at her. "Do you know the definition of Menagerie?"

"Yes, but there wasn't anything we could do about it. We haven't told Blake, though."

I nodded my head, let her be, left the house, and started making my way down the path to the docks, seeing the Bullhead lowering some rope before I shot up, catching the railing before crawling in. I retook my seat, and we went ahead and started making our way back to Atlas, making it back at night, before getting off and would have the payments be sent to our accounts. I was happy I created a new account to have the funds go into the store and accrue since I wouldn't be touching it, though it'll be treated as an emergency only if I need either repairs or new items to upgrade my items more.

Once we were able to touch down, I decided to head off while they do their debriefing and get the gold to be looked at by an inspector, excluding the weapons used by the library. So, dropping the gold off with a very happy evaluator and visited the armor to drop off the collected weapons so they can be cleaned and restored, which left me heading back to the General's office. While I was making my way, I was greeted by Weiss and her mother, which was surprising that she's out of the house without a bottle in her hand, but it may be a good influence.

Once I could get to the General's office, it was him and I, which was surprising as Winter would usually be next to his side. He gestured to a seat, which I had taken, and he presses his hand against his forehead while a scroll was on the table, with Ozpin's name on it.

"And as I have informed you, we do not know the evolution of certain Grimm getting ahold of items to increase their power, Ozpin," James says, as sipping was heard.

"While that is understandable, James," Ozpin says, sounding sluggish. "If you have a secret research going on that could help us face these things, it would be greatly appreciated if you could share it with us."

"And I'll tell you when we do," James says as the call ends. "God, dealing with him is an annoyance."

"Yeah, it's to be expected, General," I said, getting a nod from him.

"So, what did you experience in the Ruins. From what Lilic and Candie mentioned, you went MIA for three hours before contacting them."

I went ahead and explained to the General to the best of my capabilities what I learned during the short exploration in the three-story, from the Agonies to the boss that I fought, with the annoying puzzles it brought at the very end. He did cup his chin as I explained what was going on before he informed me that Ozpin did tell him that there were some reports of an electric Reaper Wasp in Vale. I connected that Ozpin needed to get any more information about a possible way to remove the Elemental Grimm that was roaming around.

It might be something to get in the future, give me resistance to electricity, and if I meet Nora, we can make things so much fun. Anyway, putting that onto my maybe list, all that information for Ironwood left after finishing up with my report, I started making my way to the lab to see what they have set up for me. Getting to the lab with no incident, I saw the duo currently looking at the prototype skinning using Grimm Skinning Knife.

"So, what are we looking at?" I asked them as they turned around.

"When we skinned the hide into the leather, it did seem to increase the structural safety," Alex says, with Alexis holding up a small clipboard.

"By also using some of the metal that Ruby was able to send to us and making micro threading," Alexis starts, including a smile. "We were able to come up with a basis of armor that could allow those with locked Aura to take hits like those with unlocked Aura."

"Just without the healing factor," Alex added, shrugging a bit.

"Alright, so Ruby got the ratio set up with the metal so we can make some blades for testing."

Awesome.

So, I got a few things I wanted to talk about, one of which is the pairing. I originally planned on having it be OC x Penny, which is probably an uncommon trend with an OC going with a side/main character, but I have been thinking about changing it to OC x OC. If you guys don't mind the slight change, Penny's cuddly reactions could be that of a clingy sister, but I want your opinions. Other than that, I'll go ahead and give a short description of the Semblance we have our OC/SI using.

Semblance: Harvest (Minor Gamer Element)

Description: Harvest is a passively-active Semblance that within a three-mile radius of the user that will cause loot, which is small hingeless boxes made of metal that can't be open in any shape or form. These can only happen with collecting items through the Pipboy, depending on the Strength stat, useless if the soul is connected to a robotic body. Depending on what was defeated would depend on what items are collected, hides, and bone from Grimm or unique material found with a specific Grimm.

Hopefully, you guys don't mind that hiatus; work was taking a bit more time, and having to put down one of my cats did keep me away, but I'll try to get these out at least once a month. I have also started another Gamer fic called Gamer Gates in the My Hero Academia, where we'll focus again on the realistic way of combat for gathering material.
