'He came back, not by your doing or Naruto's' Inner's insidious voice whispered in her head, the pale vision of Inner reflecting back at her through the mirror the word inner marking the strange inner beings forehead.
Her eye twitched 'Face it Outer Sasuke-kun doesn't want you, why would he when he has Karin' the voice cackled really trying to upset her outer counterpart the one that was in constant control it seemed.
Sakura turned her back on the mirror closing her eyes trying to block out the voice inside her head 'It's useless your to weak Outer, you can't shut me out anymore' Inner's voice seemed to grow in volume echoing loudly in the confined space of her head.
Making the pinkette wince 'Worthless, weak, a nuisance that is all you'll ever be to everyone around you, a burden to all your friends' the voice cackled again, digging the knife in deeper and the rosette wondered.
Wondered when the voice of her inner desires had become so dark, taking on its own personality it seemed 'Hate them, loathe them, despise them for your own weaknesses' Inner urged a glint of insanity in her paler eyes.
She decided on a walk hoping to find something to distract herself from that poisonous voice but no matter what she couldn't get it to shut up "Hey Sakura" Suigetsu yelled, waving the kunoichi down when he saw her heading towards them.
Tired bloodshot eyes turned to him, staring blankly through him as if he were a ghost "Whoa you don't look so good maybe you should go see a medic or something" Suigetsu reeled back, the kunoichi was ridiculously pale.
And then she laughed, arms wrapped around her stomach, slightly hunched over, it wasn't a happy laugh no she sounded like she'd gone insane "Have a good day Suigetsu" Sakura smiled wide just going through the motions.
Before turning and wandering off further down the street away from him that blank empty look settling in her eyes again 'You can't even pretend can you that's how weak you are, pathetic, maybe you should just do everyone a favor and get rid of yourself' Inner suggested.
So convincing that Sakura's feet turned unwillingly in the direction of the nearest field, hand on her weapons pouch as she trudged slowly along the off-beaten path 'That's right, die, die, die, die' Inner chanted madly.
As she gained control of their body and made Sakura pull a kunai from her pouch and despite the struggle slowly made Sakura raise the blade to her throat "DON'T" there was a shout and a hand tightly clasping over the one with the kunai.
Stopping it mere inches from slicing through tender flesh "She won't shut up" Sakura grit out through tightly clenched teeth even though Inner had tried to prevent her from speaking, the hand over hers tightened further.
"Force her to, we all deal with voices inside our heads, you can beat yours just as I did mine" the newcomers voice assured softly, breath caressing the shell of her ear, how she wanted to surrender herself to that gentle voice.
But Inner refused to be ignored and so a struggle ensued, it was painful his grip, every time it felt like she'd gained a little ground over the insidious voice, Inner came back stronger and louder bringing tears to her Outer self's eyes.
The other voice was speaking again "Whatever its saying don't listen, don't believe, it's all lies, this isn't the Sakura Haruno I've heard so much about, she's strong" the newcomer said, sounding so familiar as life sparked once more in beautiful green eyes.
"Strong, me" Sakura whispered in a strained tone of voice, obviously having listened a bit to much to that pesky inner voice of hers, he knew how bad it could get as he carefully lowered her hand, she gave him no resistance.
Genjutsu cast on her weakening, Sasuke was a real bastard to place it on the pinkette to keep her away from him "Yes, strong, no matter what anyone or anything else says it's the truth" Jugo assured kindly.
Inner's voice faded some not as loud now 'Sasuke-kun still doesn't want you' the insidious inner voice reminded harshly attempting to wrestle control back as her outer counterpart began listening more to the outsiders voice.
Tears blurred her vision "But Sasuke-kun" Sakura choked out only to have a rough finger pressed gently against her lips, bright red-orange eyes peered down at her a hint of pity in his gaze and he shook his head.
"Not worth it, it's time to let him go, all those feelings you have for him, they bring you nothing but pain" Jugo said, carefully feeding his chakra into her to help weaken the sharingan induced illusion or break it completely.
Before Sakura was broken beyond repair, that little spark grew and the voice inside her head retreated more and then it was like something snapped as she jerked, jutsu coming undone "THAT FUCKING BASTARD" Sakura growled.
Angrier than ever before as she realized what had been going on with her lately, Sasuke had put her in a genjutsu with his sharingan with her fury empowering her she cast one last look at Jugo, whispering a near silent thank you to the man.
Then stormed off down the streets on the hunt for that asshole and when she found him she reared back her fist "SASUKE-KUN" Karin shrieked as her fiancee went flying from the unexpected punch to the stomach.
Going through three tree's and slamming with a sickening crack into a rock "IF YOU EVER USE YOUR SHARINGAN ON ME AGAIN I'LL RIP YOUR EYES OUT UCHIHA" Sakura snarled positively furious.
Dark eyes widened and whispers filled the air from the accusation "Sakura-chan what are you talking about" Naruto hesitantly asked, gulping when she turned wild angry eyes on him and he thought she was going to scream at him to.
"This fucking bastard put me in a sharingan induced illusion, mark my words Uchiha I'll have your eyes out of your sockets if you ever, ever flash that dojutsu at me again" Sakura pointed, absolutely livid.
Despite someone trying to calm her down, she didn't want to be calmed down or placated though as she glared murderously at the Uchiha, all this opening her eyes to what he was really like deep down and now she no longer cared one bit about the bastard.
Didn't even count him as one of her comrades either anymore "DON'T YOU FUCKING TCH AT ME UCHIHA I WANT A VERBAL ANSWER" Sakura snapped, practically ready to strangle the bastard when he did his typical thing.
"Fine just stay the fuck away from me Sakura, I don't want you I have Karin, you are nothing to me got that" Sasuke scowled, wondering how the hell she'd found out about the genjutsu until he spotted Jugo out of the corner of his eye.
Of course, Jugo, he had been against the idea in the first place after all "Perfect because you are nothing to me as well, as far as I'm concerned your not really welcome in Leaf" Sakura scoffed, spinning on her heel and stalking off.
Leaving behind a stunned group of people including Sasuke himself because he'd never thought he'd hear Sakura say something like that to him "That was incredibly stupid of you Sasuke" Kakashi shook his head in disappointment.
"If you ever do anything like that to Sakura again, Tsunade will have no choice but to seal away your sharingan, just be grateful that it wasn't Hokage-sama who found out about it or you'd be in a much worse state" the Copy Ninja warned.
A day later, Inner's voice no longer an issue, Sakura decided to go on another walk to get some fresh air after spending hours in the hospital, she'd been called in for an emergency surgery that had needed her skills.
Half-way through her walk she was joined "You don't have to worry, Sasuke got reprimanded severely and just so you know I was against him doing that" Jugo informed, though from the way she'd reacted.
Sasuke was pretty much out of mind and heart at this point for her "So you knew and that's why you tried to help me, thank you Jugo at least your decent unlike him" Sakura caught on rather quick and snorted.
"It wasn't all due to the illusion, we all have voices inside our heads, some are just louder and harder to quiet down, Sasuke's changed but before he use to be able to quiet mine, gave me a peace of mind I hadn't had in years" Jugo admitted.
Walking casually at her side, his insane crazy inner voice quiet for the time being "My voice was never quite that bad, I use to hide my real thoughts and Inner became a part of me, she was the voice of my inner desires the ones I could never tell anyone" Sakura confessed.
Jugo nodded as if he understand and she realized that she'd found herself an ally among the group Sasuke had brought back with him, should Inner ever give her any trouble again Jugo would help her because he had a voice inside his head to.
