Since the first day she had been fully awake and aware of her situation and surroundings Sakura has gathered a bit of information.
One - being a guest at the Uchiha main house means being closely monitored by the family. Not in a we don't trust you so we gotta keep an eye on you way but rather in a you're too sweet and innocent to be here so we're going to treat you like a princess and protect you at all costs way. Which leads to her next observation.
Two - she can get away with anything. She is positive that she can break the most expensive object in the house and one of the members would not only gladly cover up the whole mess but also confess to the crime and even stab themselves to death. All to protect Sakura and her sweet innocent self.
Three - Sasuke just HAS to be the cutest boy she has ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only is he smart but also considerate and attentive to her (this could also be because of point two). He has done everything in his power to make her feel comfortable and welcomed and made sure to fill every second that they spend together memorable. Seriously, he's going to be a heart crusher if no one stops him.
Four - Shisui and Itachi are rivals who respect each other and help each other grow. That's it, no explanation needed.
Five - Fugaku was… well he was Fugaku. Sakura couldn't quite explain it but most of the time he was this towering man of hate and a permanent frown but when no one was looking, when he was hidden in the shadows and felt safe he allowed that mask to drop.
He rolled his neck side to side, eyes shut and left hand rubbing on his cracking neck. Sakura wouldn't have given it much thought but when he sighed from his chest and his shoulders drooped further down she realized he was fighting an invisible battle all by himself.
She supposes that they may be similar in that regard.
You see, Sakura was used to being alone. Yes, she had her parents and her cousins and yea the villagers were friendly but she was still alone. Her mother calls her unique but unique means weird to kids her age.
Unique means getting mud hurled at her. Unique means being pushed by other kids and pointing fingers in front of laughing faces. It means being called names and getting left out of games and activities.
Sakura was a loner, someone who had to keep her head down when alone but pretty smiles and friendly greetings in the presence of adults.
Which is why, when Fugaku arrived at the house just in time for dinner she decided enough was enough. She would either get kicked out of the house or get incinerated by the chief of police. Worst case scenario, Itachi gets removed as her "babysitter" but it would all be worth it.

No one was paying attention to them. Mikoto was in the kitchen humming to herself. Itachi and Shisui were setting the table and Sasuke had run off to use the bathroom. Sakura herself was making her way back when she saw movement at the door.
Fugaku had made his way inside, the door behind him closed, one sandal already toeing off the other and lips separating in anticipation of what Sakura could only assume would be a greeting, when he glanced up and locked his dark eyes with her green ones.
Immediately his lips closed and tugged down into a frown, eyebrow twitching downward and one nasty glare sent straight at her. The displeasure was rolling off of him in waves.
Sakura could do one thing and one thing only.

The pink haired thing had been invading his home for about five days but he wanted it out already. She was a nuisance that his eldest son didn't need and his youngest didn't need to get influenced by. As it was Sasuke didn't seem to have his brother's ingenuity and Fugaku was already dreading the consequences of that situation.
As tension within the clan rose Fugaku grew more and more weary of the implications and possible outcome. He was not ready for a war with the village but the clan elders were growing restless and causing some members to question Fugaku's position.
All he wanted was to get home to his lovely wife, quiet eldest son, and the bundle of innocence that was Sasuke.
Instead he gets a hideous pink haired brat staring at him as a greeting.
His face automatically formed into a frown and glare, this expression had been on his face for all of two or four seconds at most before the pink haired abomination did the unthinkable.
Amidst their showdown a pink thing pushed out of her mouth before disappearing just as quickly back inside. The girl smiled slowly then and said in the most high pitched, innocent voice to have ever been heard on Earth, "Oh, good evening Uchiha-san, welcome home!"
It wasn't until after she said home that he fully registered what had happened.
That pink haired demon had just stuck its tongue out at him.
a/n: I'm sorry this is not only late but also short. Thank you for your patience! As a little background on me, I work full time and do school as well. Summer means I get to write more but after staring at two computer screens for eight hours a day all I want to do is get home and sleep :(
I think part of my issue is that I sit on a chair during work and then still come home and sit on another chair to type since I have a desk top. I've been thinking of cashing out on a laptop that way I can sit on my bed or couch and maybe get my creative juices flowing better.
Once again thank you for your patience. Hopefully I can update again on the first of October (yea, its September already crazy) and maybe the 15th of this month for Bakers Daughter if you who also follow that one and want to know.
Please let me know what you thought of this chapter or yell at me for not updating like I should be :)
Until next time!
