(In the deep reaches of space, a strange looking pod is currently floating, passing an unnamed planet before heading straight into the Milky Way Galaxy. Days later, the pod reaches to the Earth and falls down when entering the planet's atmosphere. The pod drops into San Fransokyo Bay and began growing roots, spreading them underground)
(Andrew Stewart is currently in the backyard, standing on a platform while her mother, Mary is working on a painting of him)
Andrew: (speaks through clenched teeth) Mom, can I move? My face is starting to freeze.
Mary: I'm almost done.
(Mary is finished)
Mary: Done.
(Mary turns her masterpiece around, revealing a painting of Dawn kissing Andrew)
Mary: What do you think?
(Andrew is speechless as he blushes)
Andrew: It's nice Mom.
(Mary giggles)
Mary: Thank you.
Andrew: Now, it's your turn.
(Mary sits on a stool with her legs crossed while Andrew uses his telekinesis to lift a marble in front of him)
Andrew: Don't move.
Mary: Okay.
(Moments later, Andrew uses his powers to sculpt the marble, making it look like his mother, much to her delight)
Mary: Aww.
(Mary gives Andrew a hug and kisses him)
Mary: I love you Andrew.
(Andrew blushes)
Andrew: Uh, thanks Mom.
(Suddenly, a strange looking flower pops out from the ground, getting their attention)
Mary: Huh?
Andrew: What's that?
(The flower blooms, producing a white clear gas, directly at Mary and Andrew as they began to cough)
Mary: (coughs) What was that? Come kind of gas?
Andrew: (coughs) More like a paralyzing gas.
(Andrew stops coughing as his body suddenly freeze in place)
Andrew: Oh no!
(Andrew tries to move his hands, but barely)
Andrew: My body is numb.
Mary: Andrew!
(As Mary went to help Andrew, she freezes in place as the gas paralyzed her)
Mary: Hey, I can't move!
Andrew: Me too!
(Andrew tries to move his limbs, but couldn't)
Mary: Andrew.
(Mary struggles to move, but no avail)
Mary: (groans) My muscles.
(Moments later, clouds began to covering the sun, depriving the strange plant some sunlight as it closes up and submerges into the ground)
Andrew: It's gone.
Mary: We're still immobilized.
Andrew: Do worry Mom, I hope it wears off.
(Soon, Andrew and Mary began moving, stretching their arms and legs)
Andrew: I guess it was temporarily.
Mary: Good, I didn't want to become a statue of you know what I mean?
(Andrew chuckles nervously)
Andrew: Yeah, I do.
(Moments later, have of the city is covered with plant vines and strange flowers popping out from the ground, near several parks and forests, spreading pollen which paralyzes people)
(At the Fredrickson Candy Factory, Go Go and Honey Lemon is watching the news)
Bluff: Breaking news, the city is invaded by strange looking flowers that release a paralyzing gas that freezes people in place. Scientists have discovered that the flowers match no other species of flora on Earth, meaning that this is caused by an extraterrestrial plant creature. Many civilians have been sent to San Fransokyo General to be treated when a giant pod has emerged from San Fransokyo Bay, producing a powder that also paralyzes living beings. Some victims have been taken to a medical camp at the baseball stadium as well.
Go Go: This is bad.
Wasabi: Yeah, alien plants taking over the city. Where's Hiro and Baymax?
Honey Lemon: I know, Baymax is taking care of Hiro and Akiko after they got paralyzed.
(Mini-Max hops on Go Go's head)
Mini-Max: Which is why Fred sent me to assist you after he and his mother have been rendered incapacitated.
Go Go: Let's suit up.
(At Stewart Tech, Harold, Adam and King Blight are looking at one of the flowers, which is currently in a containment box)
King Blight: These flower were planted by a Spore Pod, an alien plant that spreads on other planet, it needs to feed on water and sunlight to survive.
Harold: You seen this thing before?
King Blight: When I was a young boy, I fell into a field filled with these flowers. The worst part is that one of my daughters has been exposed to the paralyzing powder while protecting a family.
Harold: I'm sorry to hear that. We really need to make the antidote, Megan and Dennis got hit by the paralyzing powder. Although, Max, May, Alex, Anna and Ashley were also hit by the powder, but it didn't effect them.
(Allen Drake enters the lab)
Allen: I can help create the cure Uncle Harold.
Harold: Allen, why are you here?
Allen: My sisters got paralyzed and my parents sent me here to assist you since I know a thing about science and technology. I even came up with plans to create a serum cure for the common cold.
King Blight: This that's why he's considered to be the smartest boy on the planet?
Harold: Yes, even as a baby, he's a genius.
(Daphne and Jade enter the lab as well)
Jade: Don't even think about leaving us out of making a cure.
(Jade smirks along with Daphne)
(At the medical camp in Oracle Park, many victims are laying on beds, groaning in pain as they try to move, several people like Megan Cruz, Fred, Felony Carl, Richardson Mole, Professor Granville, Hiro, Akiko, Wendy Wower, Mayor Saito and Judy are unable to move due to the paralyzing powder. Alina and Jerry are sadly watching Trixie and Andy under the effects of the paralysis)
Trixie: (groans) It hurts.
Jerry: Be strong kids, you'll be better soon, I promise.
(Meanwhile, Rachel Drake is sadly watching her own daughters suffering the same fate with her husband comforting her)
Brian: Don't worry, they'll make it.
(Mary is holding Cora while she, Andrew, Daisy, Max, May, Alex, Anna and Ashley watch Megan and Dennis laying on their beds)
Max: Are you guys okay?
Megan: Just paralyzed, but we're okay.
(Megan groans)
Dennis: (groans) My muscles.
May: I guess we're immune to the powder.
Alex: Must be the G-Energy Compound in our DNA.
Anna: How are we going to stop the flowers from spreading throughout the city.
Max: Dad and King Blight are working on a chemical compound to freeze the plants.
(Clara and Zoey are watching Dawn laying in her bed, groaning)
Clara: Watch over you sister, I'm going to help Max and the others.
Zoey: (nods) Okay.
(Later at Stewart Tech, Allen, Jade and Daphne are working on creating a cure for the paralyzed victims)
Jade: The cure is almost done.
Harold: So the flowers don't just paralyzing living beings, but their true purpose is to absorb sunlight?
(King Blight nods)
King Blight: The flowers feed of sunlight energy and transfer that energy to the pod. Once the pod gets the energy, it will evolve.
Harold: Evolve, into what?
King Blight: The pod will evolve into a giant creature and it will grow stronger when it feeds on sunlight and water.
Harold: Just like a normal plant.
(Later, the San Fransokyo Police Department as well as Go Go, Wasabi and Honey Lemon, and some Stewart Tech employees are destroying the flowers with a weed killer chemical spray)
Wasabi: The weed killer is working.
Honey Lemon: Good thing it doesn't harm humans.
(Max, May, Alex, Anna and Ashley are using their ice beams to freeze the remaining flowers)
Max: Plants can't stand cold temperatures, we ice the flowers and break them.
(Alex, Anna and Ashley smash the frozen flowers into pieces)
Anna: This is fun.
(Meanwhile in San Fransokyo Bay, the pod starts glowing green as a roar is heard)
