"Alright my little minions have a seat and I'll tell you what I want to see today in regards to your training and don't forget to put in your four hours at the hospital today, I gave you leeway yesterday but no more" Genma commanded.
Once they were finished with their D rank for the morning, it had taken a whopping fifteen minutes to complete which impressed him and the client with their superb teamwork, though that's what he got when the kids were friends for years, they knew each other well.
However at his order the genin promptly sat before him, ready to listen to anything he had to say eagerly and it was only their second, technically fourth day as an official team, Genma gave them a minute before taking a deep breath.
Then looked into Hinata's eyes "First there is a limit on the amount of laps you'll each do, Sakura, Kiba being the ones with the most stamina you have five laps, Hinata, until you attain the same level you'll be wearing weights and doing an extra lap around the grounds" Genma announced.
Retrieving a scroll from his pouch and handing it to his blue-haired kunoichi "Okay Genma-sensei is there anything else you would like me to improve on" Hinata nodded her head, accepting her new accessories and barely batting an eye over it.
"Yes, but we'll get to that, next up is Kiba, good stamina, great at taijutsu, but you suck at shuriken-jutsu, so you'll be spending an extra thirty minutes after your laps on throwing until you can successfully hit a target 10 times out of 10" Genma turned his gaze on his sole male student.
Who gulped but didn't argue with his new orders "Do I have to wear weights like Hinata or is it just her" Kiba piped in, eyeballing the weights that his teammate was already wearing and they looked fairly heavy if he wasn't wrong.
His sensei snorted "Eventually for now it's just Hinata, lastly Sakura, you're a generally well-rounded genin, though I did see some flaw in your taijutsu, so that's what you'll be working on for an extra forty minutes until I say otherwise" Genma finished.
Pulling out a couple of books he'd borrowed from the library for both Kiba and Sakura that would help them improve "Now for the other things, ninjutsu, genjutsu and kenjutsu, all three of you will receive a crash course on each once your done with the other aspects of training" Genma said.
Waving the kids off to do their morning training and taking a seat under the tree like he had yesterday, minutes later Kurenai appeared as she had the previous day to spy on Team 4's training not that she'd see much.
As far as he was concerned Kurenai could do whatever she wanted as long as she didn't interrupt his students in any capacity, because despite what it looked like he had spent hours devising a fully-thought out training schedule for his genin.
"Is it time for that crash-course you mentioned Genma-sensei" Sakura inquired when a whistle drew their attention and they all looked over to find their sensei beckoning to them with his hand for them to stop what they were doing.
Each of them looked winded from their extra practicing "Yep, first genjutsu, I'll put you in the heaven viewing jutsu and then I want you to break out of it, your first priority is recognizing the signs of being in a genjutsu, after I'll have you practice casting one" Genma quipped with a grin.
Hands already blurring through the necessary hand-signs to place the genin in a E rank genjutsu that wouldn't mentally scar them, shortly after, and he meant literally a few seconds, Sakura broke out of the illusion, followed by Hinata a minute later and Kiba a few minutes after them.
Considering their developed sensory skills genjutsu was pretty much useless on them "Good that means you three won't be caught off guard, we'll still continue however, next kenjutsu" Genma smirked, pleased that these kids made teaching them things easy.
Upon saying this he handed each of the genin a wooden sword and demonstrated a few general swings for them to repeat back to him and finally ninjutsu, he made them take the chakra nature test and was very surprised by the results.
Sakura had water and wind nature, Kiba earth nature and Hinata fire and lightning nature chakra's "Wh..What's wrong sensei" Hinata inquired, seeing the look on Genma's face as he pondered over the situation that had just arisen.
At her question he knew he couldn't ignore her "Just debating over what to do Hinata, don't worry about it, I will figure things out so all of you get the necessary training for this, for now practice kenjutsu for the next thirty minutes then we'll break for lunch" Genma smiled reassuringly.
Knowing he'd have to make another trip to the library for his students, before he knew it, their time together was over and the genin were headed home for dinner and then as requested the trio headed to the hospital to volunteer their time, learning what he wanted.
Before Team 4 knew it however a week had gone by since they'd officially been assigned as a team "Today should be fun kids, I found the perfect D rank to really challenge you and then we'll head to our training ground for something different than our usual" Genma chuckled.
When they were lined up before him "Fun for you, you mean Sensei, we'll struggle probably while you get to laugh at our failed attempts" Kiba snorted under his breath, thankfully out of ear-shot of anyone who could hear otherwise he'd be getting whacked over the head most likely.
The two kunoichi shared an amused look over the Inuzuka's head since he was smack in the middle of them "So what's our mission Genma-sensei" Sakura asked, since they weren't headed into the tower which meant Genma had already collected their mission for the day.
"I'm so glad you asked Sakura, today you five that includes you two Boei, Akamaru, get to put your tracking skills to the test again, Madam Shijimi, our beloved Daimyo's wife has requested us to find her precious kitty Tora-chan, here you go" Genma grinned.
Freaking Kiba out a little bit because he looked a little to happy about this mission but dutifully the three of them crowded around the picture Genma presented to them of a cat with a red ribbon tied around one of its ears.
Without knowing the full details the team split up using their superior tracking skills to find a literal needle in a haystack as it took them a grand total of three hours to find their target, another hour to corner him in an alley and fifteen minutes to secure him in a carrier.
Not without getting scratched to all hell from the obviously feral and quite vicious feline "Th..That cat wa..was awful" Hinata sniffled, once the mission was finally considered complete and they had left Tora in Madam Shijimi's hands.
A hand came down on her head "Sorry Kids, but now you know that missions can turn at the flip of a coin, don't ever assume that just because your good at something that there won't be something that can make your life difficult" Genma informed sagely.
Hoping they understood the lesson he'd tried to impart on them by this mission, the previous missions had been easy and swiftly done in a timely manner and he hadn't wanted them to think that missions would be a breeze for them all the time.
"For now lets head to the hospital get you healed up and have a late lunch which is on me today, anywhere you want I'll pay within reason of course, then we'll have an hour to go over tool maintenance before I dismiss you for the rest of the day and no hospital duty" Genma declared.
Leading the way to the hospital where a medic took one look at his genin and immediately understood they'd encountered the menace known as Tora, fifteen minutes later all injuries dealt to them were healed and the four of them were on their way to Yakiniku Q.
After a crash-course on how to properly maintain their tools Genma released them for the rest of the day to do whatever and Sakura headed home "Hey Sakura-chan" Naruto greeted, in the foyer when the door opened to admit his pink-haired honorary sister into the house.
A smile lit up her face at the sight of him "Hey to you to Naruto, sorry we haven't had time to sit and chat lately, Sensei's kept us really busy" Sakura apologized, feeling bad for kind of neglecting the blonde over the past week they'd become genin.
Naruto shook his head "Nah don't worry about it Sakura, I do understand we're not gonna have time to really spend time with one another as a family anymore, though at the very least it looks like your free, you are free right or do you have to go to the hospital tonight to" Naruto asked.
"Genma-sensei let us off the hook for tonight so I'm free, oooh I know how about we have a camp-out, we could get Hinata and Kiba, pitch a couple of tents and have sensei chaperone or something, if he agrees, where we just you know have fun like normal kids" Sakura suggested.
Really wanting to do normal things with her friends like they hadn't been able to all week "Only if he agrees Blossom, Genma might want to relax so keep that in mind" Kizashi warned from his chair, knowing that soon he and Mebuki would be going another one of their trips.
Sakura bobbed her head in understanding then dashed back out the door with Naruto on her heels "Guess the house will be empty again tonight" Mebuki sighed, getting a case of empty nest syndrome as both her children, yes she counted Naruto as hers, were considered adults now.
Kizashi reached out and patted his wife on the arm "They know where home is Mebuki and those children will always come back to us no matter what it takes to do so" he assured, writing something down in a notebook.
"Just as they'll always await our return whenever we go off to sell our merchandise" she smiled softly before heading back into the kitchen to make dinner for the two of them because she was certain Genma would agree to Sakura's request.
Mebuki wasn't wrong the minute the two genin landed on the doorstep to Genma's house the door swung open "Making a social visit are we or is it time for another trip for your parents" Genma greeted beckoning the duo in to his home.
Both preteens shared a calculated glance behind his back "I thought it'd be fun to do a camp-out tonight with me, Naruto, Kiba and Hinata-chan, and well besides our parents and Hayate-sensei your the only one I know that I trust who can safely chaperone us" Sakura fidgeted.
Acting like her normal self "Chaperone huh and it'll just be the four of you, sure a camp-out sounds exciting, in fact I can turn it into a learning opportunity for you lot, knowing how to survive is key after all" Genma grinned.
Heading deeper into the house leaving the genin one of whom sweat-dropped while the other snickered under her breath "Do you have to deal with that on a daily basis Sakura-chan" Naruto whispered unsure if this was a good idea now or not.
It was no wonder Sakura barely had any time for anyone, Genma worked his students hard-core apparently "Mhm pretty much Naruto, everything we do even if it's simple stuff, Sensei gives us advice or tells us important things that could help us later on down the road" Sakura said.
Though of course he made it seem like he did the bare minimum, Genma taught them a lot when jealous former classmates of his weren't around or so he said "Don't just stand there kids, I know you haven't asked Hinata or Kiba yet so get a move on while I do things" Genma clapped.
Reappearing to find them still stood in the middle of the living room though they scrambled for the door at the command to his amusement "I've got Kiba, you go get Hinata-chan cause her Dad scares me still" Naruto suggested.
Splitting the pair of them up in opposite directions "See you in a bit Naruto" Sakura waved, climbing astride Boei mid-run even, since she could totally do that now and the lynx gave a great leap onto a roof to Naruto's chagrin.
"Oh Sakura what brings you by so late, wait don't tell me Lady Hinata, you wish to see her" Neji caught her as she was heading through the gates of the Hyuga Compound and she realized how long it had been that she'd sat down and talked to her best friends cousin.
As she whirled with a bright smile "Hi Neji and actually I'm here to speak with Hiashi-sama first, Naruto wanted all of us to hang out like we use to so I thought up the idea of a camp-out, we got the go ahead from our parents and Genma-sensei agreed to chaperone" Sakura explained.
Quickening her pace to walk side by side with the older genin "Quite the intriguing notion, do be sure to have fun then" Neji chuckled, proving that he hadn't changed much since receiving his headband and being put on a team.
With that she was alone until Sakura found herself staring down Hiashi Hyuga who wouldn't admit that he was amused as he waited for the question she wished to ask "Hiashi-sama would you mind if Hinata went to a camp-out with Naruto, Kiba and I, Genma-sensei will be there to" Sakura asked.
Bowing as was proper before a clan-head "Shiranui you say, very well, enjoy your evening, Sakura go collect Hinata for your night outing" Hiashi relented fairly easily because he owed much to this girl.
She flashed him a radiant smile full of sharp teeth before rapidly disappearing from his office to retrieve Hinata "Ah Sakura-chan wh..what are you doing here, was Ge..Genma-sensei joking about having the night off from hospital volunteering duty" Hinata stuttered.
Wearing a frown when her best friend barged into her bedroom "Nope, we're having a camp-out us three, plus Naruto and Sensei, so pack and meet up at Sensei's place, I've got to go do the same" Sakura instructed hurriedly.
~Twenty minutes later~
On her way back to Genma's with Naruto in tow, sporting packs for their camp-out wherever they'd be doing it at anyway, they bumped into Kakashi "Sakura-chan, Naruto, whats the packs for" Kakashi frowned.
Arching a singular silver brow on one of his students "For camping Kakashi-sensei, us two plus Hinata and Kiba are getting together for some fun time and Genma-sensei is kind of turning it into a learning opportunity for us" Naruto huffed.
Still miffed he got gypped on the sensei factor "That so, he does realize your my student and I should be the one to teach you whatever he plans on teaching right" Kakashi commented, Naruto opened his mouth then shut it and looked to his feet.
Feeling like he was about to cry as he realized he might be exempt "Come on Kakashi-sensei does it matter, it's just a little basic survival training anyway" Sakura stepped forward, defending her honorary brother fiercely.
"I suppose it doesn't, however next time think about your teammates to Naruto, it wouldn't be fair if they didn't get the same training as you" Kakashi scolded, walking off down the street to brood over the situation.
Leaving his blonde student to grumble irritably under his breath as they continued their march to Genma's "Jerk-sensei it's not like I specifically thought to leave them out" Naruto scowled, only to have his shoulder pat reassuringly by Sakura.
Right as they arrived at their destination Kiba skid to a halt next to them on the doorstep to the house all four of them had visited many times over the years and four minutes later Hinata joined the trio as the door swung open to reveal Genma sporting several packs.
Upon seeing the kids waiting for him, he grinned "So who's ready for some fun out in the woods, I know I am" Genma questioned, psyching the genin up, all four of them bounced in excitement and eagerly followed him down the darkening streets of the Leaf Village to their next destination.
To Genma's frustration, halfway there, Kakashi appeared before him with his remaining genin both of whom sported their own packs "Genma I heard from Naruto so thought to tag-along with Sasuke and Shino, all six of them deserve the same opportunity to learn don't you think" Kakashi remarked.
"Kakashi you do know this isn't strictly about training right, it's just a hangout between friends and I can't help it if one of those said friends to my genin happens to be one of your genin, your being an ass on purpose" Genma grit out.
Beyond irritated with his former classmate at the moment "Didn't Naruto ask you for special survival training" Kakashi frowned, confused for some reason and Genma resisted the urge to roll his eyes.
Before shaking his head "No Kakashi, these kids wanted me to chaperone their camp-out, so I thought to give them a few pointers on survival" Genma snorted, hoping the man would take a hint and not intrude.
Of course he was asking for to much apparently as Kakashi decided to go ahead and still tag-along with Sasuke and Shino, Sasuke looked like this was the absolute last thing he wanted to do as he started calling Naruto various insulting names under his breath and blaming him for the situation.
Genma was just about to snap something at Kakashi to control his students mouth when he caught sight of the hurt plastered all over the blonde brats face when it was taken out of his hands by Boei who let out a growl "Boy unless you want a bite taken out of you silence your tongue" Boei snarled.
Immediately a hand came down to rest atop his head "He's right Sasuke, your being a dick about the whole thing, can't just accept that your getting a little training out of our personal time which your intruding on by the way, you have to be an ass about it as well" Sakura snapped.
"And this is in no way Naruto's fault, why because Kakashi-sensei was the one who wished us to participate" Shino chimed in, effectively putting an end to Sasuke's foul mouth for the time being at least, they were sure he'd start in again later.
For now though he was blissfully silent and Naruto found that he did have an ally on his mostly unwanted team "Thanks Shino" Naruto aimed a smile at the Aburame Heir, who simply nodded, thirty minutes later they were set up near a stream in a wooded area.
With Genma throwing out pointers on how to properly pitch tents for the inexperienced ones, while as he suspected Kakashi had taken roost in a tree ignoring his students as the blonde had complained about all week to Sakura.
Poor Naruto really had gotten the short end of the stick "You know Kakashi, I know someone who'd be more than willing to take on these kids if you aren't going to teach them or you know even be a proper sensei to them" Genma threatened.
Hoping to light a fire under the man's ass and get him motivated to actually train his genin, a single dark as night orb focused on him intently before rolling upwards, snapping the book in his hands shut and dropping down to help out.
Kurenai already had it out for Genma and there was no need to have the kunoichi's ire turned on him as well "Fine, Shino, Sasuke watch and learn" Kakashi ordered, deciding to leave his other student to his former classmate for the time being.
As he expertly set up his tent with minimal effort "About time" Sasuke scowled once all the tents were ready for sleeping in and his stomach decided to remind him that he hadn't yet eaten dinner so he turned to the adults "What did you bring to eat, surely you packed something right" he asked.
Or rather demanded, behaving as the spoilt brat he'd always been "Everything we brought is mostly snack type foods, there's a river right there take this opportunity to learn how to catch a fish or any other kind of animal and cook it" Genma snorted.
Clearly not going to cater to his demands nor was anyone else as Sakura headed over to the river, that lynx on her heels "What do you think Boei, fish or something else tonight" Sakura questioned, peering into the depths of the slow-moving river.
Where fish was visible from the surface despite it getting darker on them "Hare" Boei's head suddenly snapped up as he caught the scent of a hare and with a mighty leap was gone over the river after his prey.
"Meat sounds good, come on Hinata turn on those byakugan eyes of yours and tell me what you see, we can share if we find a good target like perhaps a boar piglet" Kiba grinned, already salivating at the thought.
Hinata giggled under her breath but focused her chakra into her eyes to search for their own prey "To the left Kiba-kun, Akamaru-kun, about fifteen meters is what you want, use a clone and get behind it and coral it towards me, I'll use kunai to incapacitate him" Hinata instructed.
Quickly finding what they sought leaving Sakura, Naruto, Sasuke and Shino undecided on what they wanted "Fish sounds good, but I'm not sure I'd be any good at cooking it" Naruto sidled up to the pinkette a moment later.
Sasuke gripped for about a minute or two until Kakashi decided to be proactive again and help his remaining students while Sakura slightly instructed Naruto on how to catch fish, then build and start a fire without using a jutsu and cook his fish.
As the others who were absent returned with their own catches to do the same as Naruto and Sakura already had "So Haruno how many missions have you and your team failed, I bet every single one of them like we have right" Sasuke scowled.
Trying to make conversation as they settled down to chitchat and enjoy the rest of their evening "Us fail a mission don't make me laugh Uchiha, we've completed every single one, though one did give us a bit of trouble, we still finished it" Kiba snorted.
Enjoying the look of frustration on the uppity jerks face, that's what Sasuke got for being mean to Naruto all the time really "That's unusual, why because you three have excellent teamwork, so no mission should be troublesome" Shino frowned.
Participating himself "Yeah well Genma-sensei decided not to give us any details on our mission target so we were a little ill-equipped to deal with him once we found him, it was less about teamwork, more like the cat was a total menace" Sakura huffed lightly.
Baby blue eyes turned on her "Wait are you talking about that vicious and feral cat Tora, we've tangled with that stupid cat five times in the past week and we still couldn't catch him" Naruto asked in horrified awe.
Not jealous in the least that Team 4 had managed what Team 7 hadn't because he wouldn't wish Tora on anyone let alone Sakura "Did you help them Genma" Kakashi eyed his former classmate but Genma shook his head.
"You wish Kakashi but the kids did it on their own and they learned a valuable lesson at the same time, never assume that because of the mission rank that the mission will be easy, always be prepared for it to turn at the flip of a coin ain't that right kids" Genma smirked.
Eyeing his genin who nodded their heads eagerly for him "O..Oh I just r..realized are we going to s..set up traps to" Hinata commented suddenly when the thought came to mind and Genma patted her on the head and taught them basic protection for their camp.
Later he would teach them more but for now he and Kakashi were there and they were in a safe area, with that the genin sat around chatting and snacking for the rest of the evening and by the end of the it Sasuke had relaxed enough to stop being a douche.
As the kids were winding down Genma decided to call it a night and corralled the genin into their tents Sakura with Hinata, Kiba with Naruto, Sasuke with Shino while the two Jonin had tents to themselves and the next morning after breakfast they split up to resume their normal routines.
So it came as absolutely no surprise to Team 4 when Genma assigned them a C rank mission two weeks later once they'd done the initial ten D ranks followed by properly training them for the remaining time so they would be well-equipped to handle doing an outside the village mission.
"Th..The Land of Tea….Genma-sensei are we really g..going there and wh..what are we going to be doing on our mi..mission exactly" Hinata asked upon hearing the news when they crowded around the low table in Genma's living room.
Hopefully asking the relevant questions "What do you think we're doing…tracking of course, apparently there has been a recent increase of burglaries in the area, so you three are going to do what you do best, track the thief down for our client" Genma informed.
Causing his students to straighten and become serious "Our find Tora mission was to prepare us for the possibility of this wasn't it Genma-sensei" Sakura remarked, quick-witted as usual, Kiba and Hinata shuffled closer to her in response.
Genma leaned back waiting, knowing that his final student would ask his own question "And how long will we be there searching for our target Genma-sensei, isn't it like almost time for your parents to on one of their trips to Sakura" Kiba commented.
Reminding the Jonin of that fact himself "Five days my little minions so we'll be back in time for their trip Sakura, this will also be a good time to try out your new techniques that each of you have been practicing" Genma assured.
Knowing there was absolutely no way he could leave the blonde haired kid alone during that time and inwardly thanking the kami that this mission and the Haruno's trips didn't overlap "Awesome I can't wait to try out Slash-Claw" Sakura bounced.
Popping up from the floor as she did so, followed by Kiba and Hinata as they left to go pack for their mission "Blossom what are you up to" Kizashi greeted when Sakura appeared in the house and made a beeline for the stairs.
Though at the question she paused then turned to face him "Genma-sensei figured it was time to start having us do C rank missions, so we've got one in Tea for the next five days tracking down a thief, we will be back in time for your trip I promise Dad" Sakura grimaced lightly.
Especially when his blue eyes went wide "Just….Just promise us you'll be careful Sakura, we love you, have always loved you as our own daughter once it came out we couldn't have children and Naruto is the son we always wanted" Kizashi sighed.
Chartreuse orbs glittered with happiness "Of course Daddy, I love you and Mom and my little brother to, all four of us will come back, Genma-sensei will make sure of it, anyway I'll meet you in the living room in a bit but I have to pack now" Sakura announced.
Hugging her adoptive Father "And I will make sure that no injuries befall them on the mission, from the way Genma-san explained the mission it should be simple but I will keep a wary eye out just in case" Boei rumbled, padding after his mistress after saying that.
Nineteen minutes later Sakura was back, hugging her parents and repeating the news to her mother while handing over a message that was meant for Naruto since she wouldn't be able to seek him out and tell him in person "Good luck Sakura" Mebuki called after her adopted daughter.
Waving to the girl as she exited the house, figuring it was time to get back to Genma's and got a smile back in return before Sakura leaped astride Boei and took off over the roofs to their amusement, she made it back at the same time as Hinata.
"Did telling your parents and N..Naruto-kun go well, you seem happy" Hinata inquired, able to tell that much about her best friend as they entered the house only to find it empty, Genma wasn't there but the kunoichi were sure this is where he wanted them to meet him.
So they sat to wait and five minutes after Kiba joined them, meanwhile Genma was actually stocking up on supplies since they had a couple hours of time to kill he knew that he had to give his genin a crash-course on pouch stocking and all that jazz.
Luckily while he was out and about he caught sight of Naruto and borrowed him from Kakashi for a few minutes "Listen Kiddo, Sakura will be gone for the next five days, don't give anyone grief over it but I gave them a C rank tracking a thief in Tea" Genma relayed quickly,
Before sending him back before he could complain or whine about the unfairness of it all and hurriedly finished his business in the market in a puff of smoke he was home to find that his students had already returned ahead of him.
Patiently waiting as he took a seat on the couch before shoving their packs and pouches forward for him to inspect "Commendable I suppose but it's not good enough, luckily we have time to kill so time for another crash-course my little minions on packing and pouch stocking" Genma said.
Chuckling in amusement as they sighed but dumped their things out on the table so that he could show them how to properly prepare for future missions "You do know that what your asking is impossible right" Kiba grumbled.
Becoming frustrated fifteen minutes later as his belongings wouldn't fit in the pack like Genma wanted them "That's because your still trying to cram it all in there willy-nilly Kiba, watch I'll demonstrate" Genma snorted softly.
Understanding of his frustration so he opened his own pack, dumped everything out then neatly packed it all away again demonstrating that it was possible to fit everything in and still have more than enough room for any extra supplies.
Expletives were mumbled under Kiba's breath as he finally managed the task thanks to the demonstration "Are we ready now Ge..Genma-sensei" Hinata asked once everything was packed and they were well-equipped to handle just about anything on their mission.
"Not yet Kids, there is one last thing, these, one each and should you find yourself in any danger if your on your own channel chakra into it and it will bring you straight to me" Genma shook his head, reaching into his pouch.
And pulling out three tags with a strange formula on it "Hold on isn't that….the flying thunder god seal, first made by Nidaime-sama and then utilized by Yondaime-sama in the war against Iwagakure" Sakura was the first to recognize the formula for what it was.
"Ding, ding, ding we have a winner, you are correct Sakura, Yondaime-sama taught me his seal personally and I will use it to protect you if I must, now that, that's done we will now commence with our mission" Genma clapped.
Very proud of the rosette as each of his little genin stowed the tags away in their pouches reverently and followed him out of the house after locking up Genma lead the way down the streets to the gates.
Where they met an unwanted road-block "I happened to overhear that you gave your genin a C rank mission, they've barely been official shinobi a month Shiranui, they are not ready for a higher rank mission" Kurenai snapped.
Intent on getting her way one way or another as she squared her shoulders and stood firm against the unimpressed glare "Yeah and who's Sakura, Hinata and Kiba's sensei, me, not you Kurenai you have no authority here so stand aside" Genma sighed.
She didn't budge an inch unfortunately "I've been watching you Genma, not once have you taught these genin of yours anything substantial, you've made them undertake a total of 10 D rank missions that's it, along with minimal training, they aren't ready" Kurenai shook her head.
So certain that Genma was a less than exemplary sensei to the genin, prompting the man to roll his eyes in response "Kurenai that's enough, you've been trying to stir up trouble since Team 8 got reassigned to Genma as Team 4" Asuma appeared thankfully.
And while the woman was distracted by her secret boyfriend Genma pointed to the check out counter and had his genin quickly sign out "What's her problem anyway" Kiba frowned once they were well on their way to Tea.
"Your mother pissed her off so she's taking her irritation out on me….what you mean Tsume didn't tell you, she got you three assigned as a team together when originally Sakura was meant for Team Seven and Shino was for Team 8 but thanks to Tsume your now Team 4 under me" Genma said.
Answering the question they'd all been wondering since being put on a team together but for now they were going to focus on their mission as they continued down the path to their next destination eager to test their limits.
