Sunlight glistened against the ocean the salty air further enhancing Daphne's wonderful time at the beach as the redhead took a dainty sip from her drink.

"This is the life," Daphne signed in contentment basking in the sun in her purple beach suit. Her sun glasses and beach hat provided protection from the sun rays for her delicate face Daphne rummaged through her bag and found the book she had brought from the store and flipped it open

She was spending the day alone, away from the gang. The Petite woman loved them dearly, but lately she hd been stressed. Daphne had been feeling like she had been going crazy lately and that was saying coming considering she busted mysteries for a living .

It all started after the mystery crew helped solved the Witch's mystery involving the famous band called the Hex Girls. Strange things started happening to objects around her when she was she stressed or emotional.

On one particular instance, Daphne had noticed Fred looking at another girl like she was a piece of meat. That had angered Daphne and wished she was closer to the nearby stand of newspapers and magazines so she could whack him in the head and flicked her hands in frustration.

A second later a rolled up newspaper came zooming past them attempting to whack Fred. He had ducked of course and it hit poor Scooby instead "Yikes!" Their four legged friend yelped into Shaggy's arms, shaking the duo ran screaming,"ghosts!" The rest of the gang chased after them and explained away the incident as some strong wind.

But other strange incidents of things being thrown about the place or when she needed something objects would move closer to her

On top Of it all, Velma had been going through her own troubles. Oftentimes a no good criminal would try and attack her and suddenly, she was able to run a hundred if not a thousand times faster than the speed light, and she was someone the wasn't athletic.

Daphne had hoped that the book that she had brought at Velma's promoting earlier at the store would shed some light on her dilemma. She was not an avid reader by nature, preferring fashion magazines and. fashion illustrations to occupy her time, but the redhead was in a jam.

The book was about those who had the ability of telekinesis. She chewed on her lips as she attempted to read the first few lines, her hands slightly shaking in anticipation of what she could uncover.

Unfortunately, a shadow had blocked the sun, keeping her from reading and discovering what she needed to know.

She looked up at the person blocking her sunlight, "what's the big idea?" She hissed to the newcomer, glaring at the person.

Her anger quickly melted away when she realized Sally from the Hex sisters was standing in front of her in all rock star glory, in a black beach suit, with a sly smile.

"Sally, what are doing here?" Daphne asked with an inviting smile putting her book aside.

"It's Thorn." The goth corrected her friend with a glare though her words held no malice. "I've been trying to reach you for months."

"Really? Why?"

Thorn didn't answer, but her gaze landed on Daphne's book, and snatched it with a raised eyebrow.

Daphne quickly went on her feet attempting to get the book back from the dark haired girl."It's nothing, Velma got me into the syfy stuff."

"This is a good start, but wont fully explain what's happening to you, sis." Thorn said as she handed the book back.

"What are you going on about?"

Thorn sat on a nearby beach recliner and crossed her legs. "I've been learning to control my Wicca abilities for bandmates and I formed a coven, now they have abilities. too. We've been going around the country fighting monsters, while on our music tour."

"And you need the gang to help you defeat the monsters?" Daphne summarized, nothing phased her nowadays she had experiences with aliens and a talking dog for goodness sake.

"Not necessarily," the goth said taking a gulp of Daphne's juice without qualms of germs, Daphne huffed at this, but didn't say any anything as she waited for the girl to continue

"We need more sisters for our coven, we need more strength. A coven is more powerful with more sisters." Thorn paused and put her hands on Daphne's shoulders, "we need you sis and Velma too."

"But we're not Wicca," Daphne stammered.

"You two, touched Ravencroft's spell book, did you not? When a female touches a real Wicca spell book they can be given abilities wether they want it or not is irrelevant.'

"Scoob, Shaggy, and Fred also touched the spell book." Daphne reminded Thorn.

"They are not female and one is a dog."

"True," Daphne relented. "I'll talk to Velma about this, but I'm not sure she will believe me.

The goth girl smiled in relief and uncharacteristically hugged Daphne."Great, hopefully we can be sisters. The band stops by Coolsville tomorrow."

"But you are already here." Daphne said confused.

Thorn was about to reply when she grasped her head, "Ughhhh, my connection is breaking." And to Daphne's surprise the rockstar morphed into a terrifying monster that snarled at her. Daphne screamed in horror and flicked her hands, the monster was pushed away, not before taking swipe at Daphne knocking her unconscious.

The emerald eyed young woman awoke with a shriek and a gasp filling her lungs. She was sweating in bed and not devoured by a monster. "It's only a dream." Daphne told herself and turned on her light. When she had gone to bed everything was neat and tidy, now all her stuff had been thrown about. One would think it was a work of an intruder, but Daphne had already woken up numerous times, from a nightmares with monsters only to find her room a mess and she was all alone. She looked at her table side where her book on telekinesis was, had she done that? "It was only a dream." Daphne murmured to herself again, while her thoughts landed on what Thorn had told her in the dream, making her uncertain, "Wasn't it?"

AN: Hey Guys! Thanks for reading. Not sure if I will ever update again, but figured I'd publish this idea. Feel free to drop me some ideas. A Beta would be wonderful to collab with, not the best with English.
