The next morning, when the others awoke to find that the Hughes, the Giant, and Dash and Violet were gone, they got worried.
"This is unlike them, to leave without letting us know." Bob said.
"Could they have gone for a morning trip?" Gus (Reflux) asked.
"I don't think that's the case." Honey said, as she showed them things she had retrieved from the Hughes' room.
Evelyn analyzed the rag, "Chloroform." she said.
Then, Strig (Screech) took a look at the shell Honey found, "It's one of Bomb Voyage's knockout gas bombs." he said.
"So that means the bad guys were behind it." Rogard said.
"Hey, what's this?" Joseph asked as he picked up what appeared to be an envelope.
"It looks like one of those video broadcast envelopes." Evelyn said before it activated and showed Mansley.
"Hello, Parrs, and to you, Boss." Mansley said.
"As I'm sure you know by now, your friends and the little tykes have disappeared. My friends and I have them." Mansley said as he moved to show the deactivated Giant behind the Hughes, Dash, and Violet, who were tied up.
"You can try to save them if you want, but if you do, you might end up regretting it." Mansley said before the message ended.
"Well, at least now we know who has them." Rogard said.
"But, now we have to go get them!" Helen said.
"If something happens to our children...!" Bob said.
"Take it easy. I assure you, we'll save them." General Rogard said.
"We need a plan first." Lucius said.
Evelyn analyzed the signal and sent out a drone to find where it originated from.
"While the drone's looking, let's go over a plan." said Gus.
Later...
"So, here's the plan. If the bad guys leave at any time, we sneak in and hide, while one of us unties the others. Then, we head back here and figure out how to deal with those bad guys." Brick said.
"Okay." everyone said.
