Author has written 8 stories for Stargate: SG-1, and Musketeers. I accidentally wandered into the wonderful world of Stargate SG-1 fan fiction while in the process of trying to find wearable Stargate merchandise on-line. I'd been watching it on SciFi in their Monday night marathons and didn't even know, when I began watching, that the show was actually still on TV. Naturally, when I stumbled across , I immediately went searching for places that specialized in just Stargate fan fiction and found the Save Daniel Jackson website. That was the first I knew he had died. Then I discovered the show was still on, started watching it, and realized Daniel was alive! What's not to love about a show that kills off their people and brings them back from the dead? I read for about a year, had a few shots of orange juice (minus the tequila), got a little cocky, and decided, heck, I can write as good as lots of the folks writing Stargate fan fic. And since I was totally miffed by Fallen and Homecoming and couldn't find a story that fit how *I* thought Daniel's return should go - that's where I started. To be honest, I haven't posted my Stargate stuff here because had gotten a bad rap. However, when I began writing in a second fandom, I thought I'd give it a try and was surprised and pleased to find it's a great place and very user friendly for authors, which is a delightful treat after trying to figure out some of the archives. If I told you that I found SG-1 fan fiction just after internet providers started offering unlimited packages (yes, Virginia, there was a time when we paid for internet usage by the hour - just like we pay for cell phone minutes now) you might be able to figure out how old I am. Let me help you with the math - that = old as dirt. Despite being old as dirt, I love to diaglogue with readers and always respond to feedback. If you spend time in my little corner of the world, I'd love for you to stop by and say hi! iiiionly (translated For Eyes Only) |
