Name: Katie Age: 16 (birthday, Oct. 24) By now, you'll have noticed, "Gee, Katie sure hasn't written/updated in a while; Is she dead? Is this account inactive? What the hell is going on?" And to answer your FAQs, no, I'm not dead, no, this account is not inactive (not really? sort of? i dunno? I'll explain??), and I don't even know what the hell is going on. So, I've grown up quite a bit since I've written these stories, and I've come to realize that some of my content was very ignorant and problematic, which is why I don't think I'll be updating these stories (and if I do, it'll be a way's away). HOWEVER! I DO write sometimes on Tumblr (link below). If you search the tags on my blog I'm sure you could find some writing of mine. In addition to this, I'm a senior in high school, and if you kept up with my woes and frustrations back when I was super active, you'll have known that I was apply to the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. Guess what? I got in! I've done some crazy stuff in the last few years, like take a neuroscience class and do a foreign exchange in Japan (as well as take Japanese) and become president of Book Club, and I'm even going to Greece in a few months. And guess what I'm doing right now? That's right! College apps! So, I'm sorry to everyone who is waiting for that new chapter of Summer Love or wants me to finish the Blood of Olympus (which you shouldn't because the actual book has been out for a while). Life has gotten away from me. I do different kinds of writing now (I'm even teaching a Creative Writing Seminar at my school!) If you want some recent book recs from me, I have enjoyed the Captive Prince trilogy, Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses, The Song of Achilles, etc. To be honest I've just been reading a lot of fanfiction lately.
