71. Entry 72: The Jungle Moon Base

Normally, I wouldn't delve into these standalone adventures, but this recent event has sparked some insight into Pink Diamond and might provide a clue as to the matter of her fate. It seems that during the fight with Emerald, Steven and Connie fused into Stevonnie, but they crashed onto a nearby jungle moon. I knew it was a moon because it had a Diamond Base on it. Stevonnie slept there, but had a strange dream which I could only infer based on how they spoke in their sleep. Apparently, it was Yellow Diamond who commanded this base back when it was operational. Back then, however, Pink Diamond was very eager and impatient to rule a planet which made Yellow Diamond upset saying she was too immature to have a planet of her own. After the nap, Stevonnie managed to escape the moon, but even so, I had my spy drone canvas the base. I found a broken piece of the wall that could only come from a punch, no doubt from Pink Diamond. Based on the visual evidence, I figure that Pink Diamond was about the same height as Stevonnie, maybe a bit taller. Still, it is strange how that argument from millennia ago is haunting Steven's dreams. This presents a few more theories in my head, but nothing concrete. I'll have to look for more clues.
