Okay, this was insane! In a most unexpected turn of events, Blue and Yellow Diamond showed up above Beach City during the wedding reception. It appeared that they got tired of waiting and came to unearth the Cluster themselves. Once it was partly formed, I began to worry. Thankfully, it began fighting back against the Diamonds refusing to form anymore than just an arm. It was good to know that the Cluster was on our side now. However, while the Cluster battled against Yellow Diamond, Blue Diamond left her ship to confront Steven without knowing that Rose Quartz and Pink Diamond were the same. She was too grief-stricken to listen to Steven's plea. It looked bad. I thought I was going to use my Diamond Defense protocol, but as it turned out, I didn't need to. Just like a deus ex machina, Lapis Lazuli came to the rescue immune to Blue Diamonds power to make every Gem around her miserable. Together, the Crystal Gems were able to match Blue Diamond. But after the Cluster returned to its bubble, Yellow Diamond supported her peer poofing Peridot and Lapis Lazuli in the process. Then, Steven was able to enter a new stage in his telepathy, which he could use his astral projection to mentally connect to others. He used this power to convince Blue and Yellow that Pink was not shattered. The fighting stopped, and now, I am anxious to see what happens next.
