Here is the twelfth and final conversation that Noelle has to have and it is the most important of all of them as it is the one y'all have been waiting for since all this began. I'll admit, when I first wrote Tsundere Chat I never expected to make this into a collection, let alone one this long in just 10 days (12 if you count the days I drafter Tsundere Chat) but thanks to all the support I've gotten and the ideas I've had I expanded it and now it is at an end so thank you to all those who have supported me this far. Anyway, this chapter is set sometime around episode 161 or 162, I am not sure as it is past where the dub is at time of publication so there may be spoilers so you have been warned. That is all I have for now which means that it is time to sit back and enjoy Noelle's latest conversation.

Summary - There's a lull in the war so Asta and Finral are heading back to the hideout to deliver some goodies from the Heart Kingdom to their teammates who stayed behind, as well as allowing Finral to get Yami from a Captains' Meeting. Noelle knows that there is a chance she won't see Asta again until the middle of the war at best so this is her last chance to confess to him before he goes but can she? Can Noelle tell Asta that she loves him or will she freeze up? Well, as they say, actions do speak louder than words.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words

"Hello?" Asta called out as he walked into the empty chamber that was the Queen's official chamber in the Heart Kingdom Palace and looked around in confusion. "Finral, guys, where are you?"

It was a few days after the war had official begun and Asta had helped free those people from that mobile fortress and nothing much had happened since then as far as they were aware. Well other than a Charmy related incident that is of course but other than that things seemed to be quiet. So quiet in fact that Asta felt he could briefly return to the base with Finral and some goodies for his teammates that were there. They needed an update on what was going on back home anyway and there was a Captain's meeting today that Yami would need Finral for, so it made sense.

As such, Asta had volunteered to head back with Finral and sort it out as they were the least needed. Noelle and Nero were tasked with staying by the Queen's side at all times as they'd prepared together due to Loropechika's belief that they were the best to aid her in defeating Megicula. The others were well versed in the Heart Kingdom techniques here, so they had to be on standby for when the inevitable attack happened. That left Finral as he was the transport and Asta to head back for a bit.

They had been here for 6 months, so it made sense that they went to see their friends again. It had been an intensive, grueling 6 months but Asta had been happy with the results, and he was now buffer than ever before and had developed his anti-magic beyond what any expected, including learning a way to fly with his Demon-Slayer sword that would shock everyone back home. He couldn't wait to show everything off when he got back for a bit.

There had been one thing other than working out and getting stronger that had been on Asta's mind these 6 months though, Sister Lily. More specifically, his long discussion and painful training with Mereoleona before coming here about how he should properly view the nun.

Asta had spent 3 days getting the sense as Mereoleona put it beaten into him and even then he wasn't certain of how he felt. He didn't believe Mereoleona's claim that any girls liked him like that, so he didn't want to give up on Sister Lily, but he also saw the logic in her arguments now that he'd had time to think on them. Not because she was a nun, that had never fazed him as he still didn't understand why they couldn't marry, but because she was his maternal figure.

Sister Lily and Father Orsi had raised Asta, the latter from birth it seemed and the former from when she arrived when he was around 5 or so. They were his parents, and you didn't marry your parents, even as an orphan Asta understood that much.

The whole thing confused him and hurt his brain when he tried to think on it for an extended period of time. He still loved Sister Lily but maybe Mereoleona had been right, maybe it was paternal and not romantic love he'd skewed them up due to the circumstances he was in. Maybe if he saw romantic love then he'd understand but he doubted that there was no way that a girl liked him that way so no point in dwelling on it, especially with a war now going on.

As Asta was thinking this, he suddenly felt a very familiar ki enter the room behind him. Of any ki, this was the one he probably knew best just because he was so used to feeling it. Even Yuno's wasn't as familiar to him but that was more because Asta had learned to read ki as a Black Bull and not back in Hage, so it made sense that it was a teammate who he knew best.

That and he and Noelle were almost never apart so he knew her ki like the back of his hand and while it had taken him a while to understand it given Noelle's personality, he knew it inside and out now. It meant that she trusted him completely just as he trusted her, he just understood that it was hard for to express it at times for some reason but by this point he'd entirely figured out his friend.

Noelle's ki, well that of any of his friends, always calmed and reassured him as it did now though as she approached, Asta picked up something else in it that he hadn't felt before. Noelle was nervous for some reason and worried it seemed so naturally Asta wanted to help his friend.

That's why he turned to see her standing behind him in the chamber, hands behind her back, left knee slightly bent and head down not meeting his eye. He was certain her face was slightly redder for some reason, but he couldn't clearly see from this distance.

"Hey Noelle, what's up?" Asta asked waving at her and causing her to look up as she smiled broadly at her. "Do you know where everyone is? Finral and I were supposed to be off around about now, but I want to say goodbye to you guys first."

"About that, I, um, er, told them a later time actually." Noelle said embarrassed and flushing deeper, but she knew that this was the moment, she was alone with her love which meant that it was finally time. "Well, that and Charmy found out that you were taking some Heart Kingdom goodies back and, well, she's trying to eat them herself."

"Yeah that does sound like Charmy." Asta said with a laugh as Noelle approached him though her nerves were still on fire because of what she planned on doing, she'd never been this bashful in her life but there was no way to avoid that feeling right now. "Though why did you tell them a different time? Did you make a mistake or something?"

"It's only a little later, you'll be off soon but first I wanted to speak to you in private so, I, er, did it deliberately." Noelle said still not meeting his gaze because she feared that if she did she would lose the strength she'd built up for this moment if she saw his kind, sparkling, green eyes. "About something important."

"Ok, can it not wait until I get back?" Asta asked. "We should get going soon as Finral will need time to rest before he can go get Captain Yami."

"Well that the thing, this is you going off." Noelle said her voice a mix of emotions. "And we know your luck, you are more than likely to run into a problem and be delayed so I am not sure when I'll see you again and when I do it might be because you've charged in to rescue me or something so it wouldn't be the right time. This is the best moment I feel as we have a moment of peace to all me to say what I need to say."

"True, I could easily end up facing off against the leader of the Dark Triad who suddenly shows up at the Black Bull base while I'm there for all I know." Asta said with a chuckle. "I always seem to be in the wrong place at the right time to help."

"Well, you do have a 5-leaf grimoire, so you get the luck of a fourth leaf and whatever comes with the devil in the 5th." Noelle said with a light laugh at how accurate Asta was, he'd been in the wrong place at the right time at least twice before and had been pivotal in saving countless people both times because of his actions. "So, I wanted to say this to you before you leave because I don't know when you'll be back and with the war I don't know if I'll get another chance to tell you, so I have to take it when it presents itself."

"Ok, that explains why your ki feels nervous and worried." Asta said though he had no idea why it was like that, or why Noelle was acting like this as he'd never seen her this timid before, but he could feel that her intentions were pure and trusted her entirely so he would listen. "What is it you have to say? You know I'm always here for you if you need me."

"I know and that is one of the reasons why I need to say this to you." Noelle said as Asta's words gave her the courage she needed to finally reach Asta and look into his eyes. "I, I,…"

However, the moment she met his gaze she faltered just as she had feared. As hard as she tried she just couldn't say the words that she'd long known in her heart to be true. She had said them to herself and at least 10 others and a spirit but none of them were Asta, none of them were actually the man she loved. Sure, she could say she loved him now but saying it to his face was infinitely harder.

Still, she had to do it. This was her time, and she didn't want to go off to war were anything could happen without Asta knowing how she felt. Even if he didn't accept it right away, she'd fight for him regardless and wanted him to know that much at least.

She'd made this decision after her bath with Mimosa, Nero, Loropechika and Undine and now it was time to tell him. Fate had forced her hand with Asta returning to the hideout today as she didn't know when she'd next see him. That meant that she had to do it now.

Yet try as she might, she couldn't get the words out. As her pink eyes met his green ones she felt her throat close up. All her denials from the past were back with a vengeance now that she was actually face to face with Asta. The idea of telling this amazing man how deeply she loved him was terrifying, but she had to push past her limits and confess her love to him. It was now or never. Thankfully, Asta in typical dense Asta fashion, came to the rescue without even realizing it.

"I can see that it's hard to say which I understand." Asta said with a smile that always gave Noelle butterflies in her stomach whenever he directed it at her, and jealous rage when it was aimed at another girl. "I know you Noelle, I know how hard it can be for you to express yourself at times so if you can show me then try that. You've always been better with actions rather than words."

Asta was right! Her dork was completely correct, Noelle was better with actions and not words, especially around him. Sure, most of those actions were violent but that was because she was covering her insecurities over her deep feelings for him. Well, she could use that now to show him just as Asta had suggested. It was yet another reason why she loved him so much.

"Fuck it, you're right." Noelle said reaching out and grabbing the cord that held his Magic Knight robe around his neck and caused Asta to yelp in surprise. "It is easier to show you."

With that Noelle yanked a startled Asta towards her, closed her eyes, and kissed him full on the lips the way she'd wanted to for almost 18 months even if she hadn't realized she wanted to until several months ago. Somehow this felt perfect for her first ever kiss, this was how it should be with Asta. It summed up their relationship and showed him exactly how she felt about him as she pressed her lips to his as hard as she could, using the kiss to put all her passion and love into her action to show Asta the truth. There was no way even he couldn't misunderstand this.

To say that Asta was shocked was the understatement of the century, if not the millennium. Not in his wildest dreams had he expected this from Noelle. He knew she trusted him and that they were good friends but this, this he hadn't seen coming in the slightest, not in a million years would he have seen expected what Noelle had just done.

Asta would admit that he wasn't the brightest man out there and he could miss things at times when they weren't obvious but even he wasn't dense enough to misinterpret this or the feeling Noelle was imparting through her lips. It seemed that Mereoleona was right but still, Noelle had been near the bottom of his list of people who could even potentially like him like this.

Regardless, Asta didn't not enjoy it. He felt how what Noelle was trying to say as she kissed him, and instinct kicked in a few seconds after the kiss started. His eyes closed and his arms encircled her back pulling her into him and returning her kiss. Almost at once Noelle responded to his actions as she softened the kiss to a more tender rather than heated one and let go of the cord as her arms went around his neck deepening the kiss.

To Noelle as soon as she felt his arms around her waist the way she'd always dreamed of she knew that Asta understood and relaxed into the kiss as he responded to her showing her that he at least wasn't rejecting what she was doing. It may be instinct or nature or actually feelings, but she didn't care. She had gotten her message across, and it had been accepted to some degree. It was time to enjoy her first kiss and what she was certain was Asta's as well. It was perfect.

Finally, though, it had to end, as they pulled apart from each other and both took deep breaths from it. Noelle knew that her face was bright red, both with a flush from what they'd just done and embarrassment at the nature of her sudden action, but she didn't care. Asta too was flushed from what had happened which was good, this was the first time she'd ever gotten that reaction from him, and it looked unbelievably cute on his face. What was better was that he didn't let go of her which gave her the courage she needed as she looked into his eyes again.

"Noelle…" Asta began but she shushed him.

"No Asta, I now have the courage to tell you what you no doubt can guess, even a clueless, adorable, dork like you can understand what I just did." Noelle said with a smile at him. "But I need to say it out loud. Asta, I love you."

Asta's eyes went wide, and Noelle couldn't help but give a light chuckle at the slightly comical reaction her confession had on him. He was clearly confused and taken aback by everything, and Noelle couldn't help but find it absolutely adorable and for once she could be totally honest about it to herself without feeling the need to blast Asta with water. This was the amazing, goofy, strange, annoying, dense, often stupid, boy she'd fallen head over heals in love with all wrapped up into one moment.

"I love you." Noelle said again feeling her confidence building as she repeated it to him. "And I have for a long time. I fell for you early and hard after seeing your full potential and drive when we saved Saussy Village. Even before then I was already going to befriend you after you saved me from my own power and complemented me despite how I treated you and told me that we'd get strong together. We have and that is all thanks to you. You have been my pillar, my rock, and my inspiration as I have gotten stronger thanks to you. It is no wonder that I would fall in love with you even if it took me months to stop denying it."

"Noelle." Asta finally began unsure of what to say but knowing he had to say something after a girl had just confessed her love for him, something he'd never experienced before. "I didn't know or realize, I'm sorry."

"You are dense Asta, I knew I was safe even if many could tell how I felt before and after I realized it myself." Noelle said softly. "And I know I can be difficult; my noble pride and status has caused me to be in denial of my love for you and then after that it was love shyness but with you leaving soon and the fact that I can't shake this feeling that I may not see you for a while, well, I had to tell you. I didn't mean to kiss you, but I couldn't get the words out and, well, you did say I was better with actions, and you were right. If I couldn't tell you then I had to show you how I felt."

"Yeah, even I got that." Asta admitted with a light laugh. "You don't kiss someone you don't like that way in that manner. I can't deny that I didn't like it and for my first kiss, well I can't complain."

"That makes me happy." Noelle said with a smile at what he'd said though she knew there was hesitance in Asta and pushed past her pain to address it. "And I know that you don't feel the same way as me yet, at least not on my level and I understand that. I just had to tell you before I lost a chance that I may never get again. I needed to tell you that I'm in love with you and that I want a chance to be with you once this is all over."

"I'm sorry, you are right that I am unsure right now and the timing means I can't really address it as well as I want to." Asta said though he never let go of her which gave Noelle even more hope that in time she'd win his love. "All this is new to me and, well, I've had a lot to think about regarding this and my past infatuation with someone but the war with the Spade Kingdom devils does come first."

"Sister Lily." Noelle said with a nod understanding Asta's point on the war and not addressing it yet as she wanted to focus on Sister Lily first. "I remember you saying so once and I have spoken with her about this, she supports my feelings for you just so you know. As does Nozel in fact."

"Wait you've spoken to them?" Asta asked amazed.

"As well as all my rivals, be they known, potential or false." Noelle said with a nod. "Had to after I realized that I love you. Then I went to tell Nozel, and he surprised me with his blessing as he now acknowledges you as a rival, he told me that as well by the way. Then I went to Sister Lily for advice and to confirm that she was who I had to win your heart from. After that, well I had to see someone else…"

"You were the one who persuade Mereoleona to have that chat with me." Asta said his eyes wide at the realization. "That's why you were gone for a while and why your skin was so shiny when you got back, those hot springs are something else."

"I needed a favor, I'm sorry." Noelle said biting her lip and blushing at the complement from Asta. "I know its selfish, I am that often, but, well, I wanted you to realize that there were other people out there other than Sister Lily who love you and want a chance. That and she wouldn't, and couldn't, marry you. Mereoleona was the only one I felt with the ability to get through to you."

"She slapped and beat me for 3 straight days." Asta protested though he didn't seem too upset and was still holding her in his arms, so she took it as a good sign. "It was hell."

"And I spent 4 days in intensive training with her before that to pay for her favor." Noelle pointed out so she'd endured an extra day compared to him. "That's where I was for a while."

"Oh." Asta said his eyes wide, he'd never expected a girl to go that far for him and as dense as he was, he could read Noelle's ki and she hadn't been lying to him about anything she'd been saying, including loving him that way. "That does mean a lot to me that you would do all that, especially as it required a favor from Mereoleona Vermillion."

"It does?" Noelle asked her own eyes widening now but feeling her heart swell at Asta's words.

"Yes." Asta said with a sigh. "Mereoleona, as annoying and violent as she is, did make some good points about how I should view Sister Lily that made sense. I can't say I'm over her in that sense, it will take time, but over the last 6 months I've started to see things differently as Mereoleona instructed me. Though I didn't believe it when Mereoleona said that I had multiple women into me. It just seemed so implausible."

"You have four Asta." Noelle said bluntly. "Me, of course, and three others but I have sworn to beat them and never give up on my love for you. That is how deep it is and how much you mean to me."

"I can't say I saw this coming." Asta admitted. "Or that any girl would like me. Usually, it's Yuno who the girls like."

"Please, your brother has two girls after him and one is that wind spirit while the other is Charmy because he saved her food one time." Noelle said dismissively, she may be completely biased but Asta would always beat Yuno in her mind. "You have double that. You are amazing Asta, it's no wonder girls fall for you even if you don't realize it. You captured my heart in its entirety long ago, but I know that this is new for you, it is for me as well. I'd never had a crush before you and by the time I realized my feelings I was already madly in love with you. I won't give up."

"I can tell." Asta said and it touched him that Noelle wasn't going to give up despite his uncertainty on the matter. "And I am sorry for not being at that level yet with you. I like you a lot, I meant what I said when Kahono asked me that during the Star Awards Festival, and you are very important to me. You're amazing in your own right Noelle, not to mention being absurdly powerful, graceful, elegant, beautiful, kind, and all that."

"Asta." Noelle softly said her cheeks bright red but not looking away from him, she would never tire of hearing him complement her. "That means the world to me that you will say that, and I understand your hesitation. You are still getting over Sister Lily, and that will take time."

"Yeah though this does help." Asta said with a smile at her that had its usual effect. "I now know that Mereoleona wasn't wrong about other girls actually having feelings for me."

"That is good to here." Noelle said smiling back at him and resisting the urge to kiss him again as she knew that would be too much right now. "And I wasn't expecting marriage or anything like that right away, I just want a chance to win your heart the way you've won mine forever and always. I know we need to focus on the war and both of us have key roles to play in it which must take priority but after, if you're willing, I'd like to take you on a date and see were things go from there. I don't care how slow it is, I know it will take time and that's all I ask for, time to win your love."

"I can do that." Asta said with a smile and meant it, after that kiss he knew how Noelle felt for him and if there was anyone who could compare to Sister Lily to him it would be Noelle and it wasn't fair to not give her a chance. "Mereoleona told me to be open minded on this and after the war we can see where this goes. I can't promise anything, and the war does take priority as you said but after, sure, I'll go on a date with you. It will be slow though; I do need time as you said."

"I understand that, and I will respect it." Noelle said as she tried to hold her composure at Asta actually saying yes to a date with her. "But I do love you, so I won't give up on you no matter how long it takes. You taught me to never give up, it is fitting that I use that when it comes to my love for you."

Asta smiled at that. It showed how much Noelle had grown and how they'd made each other better from the very start that she was willing to use his philosophy for this, it was a good beginning. It would take time and the war had to be finished first, but Asta would see where this led. He was certainly going to be seeing Noelle in a new light after that kiss and her confession so that was a start.

However, before he could say anything, there was a yell and a spinning sound, and they turned their heads in time to see a rolling Loropechika still in her pajamas rolling towards them having tripped on something while standing still it seemed. Reflex kicked in and the Black Bulls broke apart in time to not be wiped out as Loropechika rolled passed them right where they were standing before she hit her throne and came to a stop. Undine suddenly appeared behind her with a worried look on her face as she looked down at the Queen of the Heart Kingdom.

"Loropechika dear, are you ok?" Undine said worried. "That was a pretty bad one."

"Yes I am fine, I just tried to get a better angle to hear them and tripped." Loropechika said as Undine helped her up and into the throne, making sure that her glasses were on straight in the process as if this was a normal occurrence for her, which minus the talk Noelle and Asta were having it was. "Sorry for the interruption, it was so cute and romantic what you were doing I couldn't resist listening to everything. Congratulations Noelle."

The pair just stared in shock at the Queen before they went bright red and then realized that if she were there than the others probably as well, well except Rill and Charlotte who'd both already returned to the Clover Kingdom for the Captain's meeting in the capital. Turning, Asta and Noelle looked towards the entrance to see the sight that greeted them there.

All their friends were there staring at them with varying degrees of reactions. Luck just had his usual smile on his face so likely didn't know what was going while Leo was gritting his teeth with a mix of pride and annoyance on his face while Finral was crying and babbling about Lady Finnes. Noelle ignored them and turned to focus on her two rivals that were present. Charmy was also there but her teammate definitely didn't like Asta that way and was busy eating though Noelle didn't know that Charmy was already thinking of how she could use this to secure a date with Yuno.

Mimosa was the most telling of all of them. She was white faced and eyed, her hair on end at the sight which told Noelle that the girl had been suspicious enough to come and spy on her which meant that she had seen the kiss. However, she hadn't interrupted them with a scream and the reason for that was clear. Standing behind her with both hands over Mimosa's mouth but with her head poking around the royal's was Nero. The Sealing Mage caught Noelle's eye and gave her a nod and a small smile. She'd had the strength to do what Nero had failed to do in the past.

"Oh, hey guys." Asta said in his usual tone clearly oblivious to the situation that was brewing while Noelle felt like she'd die from embarrassment. "How long have you been there?"

"We arrived at different times." Nero said still keeping a no doubt screaming Mimosa silent. "This one came first as soon as she learned that Noelle and Asta were alone and saw the kiss. I was suspicious too and followed her to keep her quiet in time. Noelle took the initiative first and the moment shouldn't be ruined. Well done, you did what I couldn't though I'm still undecided, but I will not act if they fall that way."

"Seriously." Noelle said with a sigh of relief that Nero would at least be less of a threat now. "That is good to here, thank you Nero."

"Huh?" Asta asked a little confused.

"Nothing." Noelle said. "But you should release Mimosa now, I think she's stop screaming."

"Sure." Nero said and let got before taking a step back as Mimosa fell to her knees, tears falling as she sobbed there, and Nero put a hand on her head. "There, there, Mimosa, you knew it would come down to who acted first. Noelle won this round but don't give up, Asta wouldn't like that."

"Um, Mimosa, are you ok?" Asta asked confused and worried at the sight before him.

"No, I'm one of the four Asta." Mimosa said with a hiccup as she looked at him and knew she had to confess even if this was the worst way she could think of admitting her feelings to him. "I love you too."

"What!" Finral yelled surprising them all. "Asta has two royal cuties after him and Nero might like him, that's not fair! Why won't the ladies like me like that! No bad Finral, only Lady Finnes and this is good, you now know that those three aren't into, so you aren't tempted anymore. You're getting stronger."

"Damn Asta, you are truly a worthy rival." Leo said with a grin at how Asta had won the hearts of two royals as Finral began to bash his head on the floor to clear his mind of bad thoughts. "Beat me to a girl and multiple royals no less. I can't let that stand, I'll win a heart too and someone who can equal Noelle. I would be a failure as a rival if I didn't."

"Um, the only one I can think of is my sister Nebra." Noelle pointed out. "And you have no chance there. Your fire will never melt her ice."

"A challenge worthy of me." Leo said and Noelle knew that it was no hope, but it would be amusing to watch Leo try and fail to woe her sister. "I will try because if Asta can get two royals to fall for him I can't fall behind him. We are rivals and this is included in that rivalry."

"I am confused." Asta said as his brain began to hurt as he tried to process all that was happening before him. "What is going on? And did Mimosa just confess as well?"

"Asta, you are really dense." Noelle said with a sigh. "Yes my cousin did as well because she is one of my rivals for you. I didn't mean to do any of this in front of them but, well, my jealousy must have rubbed off on Mimosa. For what it's worth, I am sorry Mimosa, I just took my opportunity. If our roles were reversed I'd be as much a mess as you. I meant it when we chatted, this shouldn't ruin our friendship cousin."

"I know, it's ok, I don't have any hard feelings towards you Noelle." Mimosa said as she dried her eyes and tried to smile but it would take a while to recover and Asta would hold her heart for a long time even after her loss. "I don't mean to be a mess, this just isn't how I imagined this going, or losing but you are right, at least one of us would lose."

"Huh?" Asta asked. "But…"

"Enough." Noelle said putting a hand over Asta's mouth. "If we are going to see where this goes, and you said we would, we are going to be monogamous. You and Mimosa can have a chat when you return so things can be understood better, and I know Mimosa won't have any hard feelings towards you."

"Never Asta." Mimosa said with a genuine smile at him. "You will always be dear to me."

"Um, ok." Asta said still confused but understanding that this had to wait. "I think we can talk more about this later though, right? We do have a war to win and a few devils to kill."

"True you lot do." Undine said as the others finally came up to them, Mimosa still looking sad but putting on a brave face in her defeat as she put all her focus into the coming war. "Deal with this once the war ends."

"Agreed now Finral, you and Asta should head out." Loropechika said. "The rest of us need to be ready just in case and as cute as this was, it has caused a little delay."

They all nodded and Finral, still crying mixed tears stepped forward ready but paused for a moment. Noelle had a look and the distance they were about to cover was vast so the briefer the portal was open the better.

"Come back Asta." Noelle said walking up to him and giving him a second, chaste, kiss on the lips as Mimosa looked away. "And remember I love you."

"I will." Asta said still a little confused, but he was willing to see where this went when things died down. "I promise."

Noelle nodded and Asta took the goodies from Luck before Finral opened the portal and they left for the hideout but not before Noelle and Asta shared a final glance. She knew that it would be slow and steady with him and that she needed to be patient, but Noelle still smiled, if it meant winning Asta's heart Noelle would take all the time in the world.

She had confessed to Asta, and he was going to give her a chance once the war was over. She was not going to waste it. She was going to win his heart as he'd already won hers. Love would prevail and Noelle was going to prove that fact with her love for Asta. She would be with the man she loved, that was a promise. She would hear Asta say the words she'd said to him to her. One day, Noelle would hear Asta say that he loved her.

Well, there it is, after 11 conversations (10 for Noelle and a special one for Asta) the confession has finally happened, and Noelle has told Asta how she feels. I know his reaction may not be satisfying to some, but I feel it is more realistic given Asta's personality. It will take time, but he'll give Noelle a chance and she won't waste it, she will win his love the way he has hers. To any wondering, the opening scene when Noelle arrives is based of the final clip of the 11th ending credits where Noelle is all cute and bashful as she approaches Asta, blushing and unable to look at him as if she is about to finally confess. I couldn't resist modeling the start after that as it just felt right. This is the end of this collection, I can't think of anything more to add to it plus we are at the end of the canon material, including the manga, so I will end it here. I don't know if I will do another Black Clover fic for a while, I have two active, long fics going at the moment and at least two more long crossover ones I am working on that I need to get back to. I had initially only planned for this to be a one shot between Noelle and Charlotte because the idea was stuck in my head (course the last time I tried that I am still working on that series 117 chapters later) but thanks to all the support I got on this story I kept going with more conversations that felt right as I built up to this moment to end it all on so thank you to all those who have supported this sudden endeavor I began 10 days ago.
