I know I said the last conversation was the last one of this series and at the time I meant it but after a question for this and the idea in my head (as well as my desire to push this story to 100k words) I decided to write a two part special based off things characters considered in chapters 6 and 12. This is kinda my version of an OVA I guess and is set after the latest release of the manga, which at time of this chapter's release is chapter 300. As such, there will be some spoilers for the yet to be dubbed episodes of the anime and the manga post the current anime location so you have been warned. I have tried my hardest to obfuscate or in one place ignore what is going on to avoid spoilers but there are some that are there so I am sorry. Most of this though is just how I could see the manga going post the war in Spade as that is when these two special parts are set. That is all I have to say on this coming part, there is something I will add to the end of the second half of this special regarding future works but I expect the next one to actually be the last in this story. That is all I have for now which means that it is time to sit back and enjoy Noelle's latest conversation.

Summary - 6 months have passed since the end of the war against the Spade Devils and a lot has changed in the wake of their victory. After a standard day, Noelle is relaxing in the bath in the hideout thinking on all that has changed be it in Spade, Clover, or for her personally, and enjoying the relaxing moment. Of course as she is doing so she is interrupted by one of her fellow Black Bull Babes who upon learning of Noelle's upcoming plans instantly wants her help. Who is Noelle to turn down a fellow girl in love, especially when she's a friend and teammate. Time to break out the Kahono playbook and help Charmy land her Prince of Provisions.
The Charmy Special Part I: Plan
Noelle sighed as she sank into the woman's bath in the Black Bulls hideout and let the hot water, controlled to the perfect temperature as always thanks to Henry's magic, do it's thing. The day itself hadn't been too bad, only routine training and a brief mission to a nearby village to help clear out a few magical beasts that were going berserk thanks to a poisoned plant that Asta and Gordon dealt with, so tame compared to normal for them. Still, a bath at the end of the day always hit the spot.
As Noelle sat there she couldn't help but think back on the last 6 months and how everything had changed since the end of the brief but bloody war with the Spade Kingdom. The war itself had been costly for them, especially the Golden Dawn, and Noelle did not want to dwell on it as it was too painful. Instead, she focused on what had happened after they had defeated the Dark Triad and prevented their insidious plans while saving Yami and Vangeance in the process. That was because everything had changed for the better in that time.
The first big thing was the revelation that Yuno was not a commoner as everyone believed but in fact Yuno Grinberryall, the rightful King of the Spade Kingdom. His parents had been King Loyce and Queen Ciel who had been killed by the Dark Triad in their coup, but a loyal guard had spirited Yuno away to safety just in time and had left him at the church in Hage to protect him. It certainly explained Yuno's off the charts magic levels and why he was a Stage 0 mage.
The revelation had come just after the start of the war, right before the attacks on the Golden Dawn and Black Bull bases by members of the Dark Triad but few had known until after the war ended. In the wake of it Yuno was left with a difficult decision as he was the rightful claimant to the Spade Throne, and one that many of the citizens of the Spade Kingdom wanted as the Grinberryalls had been beloved rulers for centuries before they were deposed, but also a member of the Clover Kingdom.
In the end, Yuno had made the decision to take his birthright but maintained membership in the Golden Dawn, though he did stand down as Vice-Captain with Langris Vaude returning to the position. This was done after Julius himself persuaded Yuno that this was the best course of action for him to take. The Spade Kingdom needed a stable king, one who had strong ties to the Clover Kingdom with contacts who had strong ties themselves in the Heart and Diamond Kingdoms, and it needed reform after the tyranny of the Dark Triad. Reform Yuno was more than willing to give it.
Yuno was in a unique position, he was a royal by birth but a commoner by upbringing and still saw himself as the latter thus knew the plight of the peasants and wanted to help them. He'd grown up with Asta and the tales of the first Wizard King and stood for the same ideals as they did. He knew the arrogance and corruption of the nobility and their prejudices towards the common folk and wanted to end that. He had planned on doing that as the Wizard King but now he could do so as the Spade King.
In the last 6 months since Yuno had taken the throne he'd already begun to reform the Spade Kingdom with his hand selected advisors into what a kingdom should be. It helped that the nobles who'd remained after his House's fall had all accepted demon powers so Yuno could remove the leaders of those Houses without an issue, after help defeating them in the wake of Clover and Heart's victory, so Yuno could begin his reform anew.
His first major decree was to end any discrimination based on class in the kingdom with heavy fines for those who broke the law. He also used the money seized from the nobles who had betrayed his family to rebuild the country and focused a lot on the rural areas to make them better for the commoners there.
It was a long and daunting task, one that faced its fair share of pushback from nobles who were losing power despite their past crimes justifying their punishments, but Yuno persevered. Noelle had even heard that he was even planning to introduce a new system to give more power to the commoners, but that was just a rumor and far from being implemented.
However, Yuno's efforts there had paid off in more ways than one as they had ramifications beyond the Spade Kingdom. Thanks both to his service in freeing the kingdom from the Dark Triad, his family's former popularity, and his welcome reforms, the people of the Spade Kingdom already loved him. King Clover, the narcissistic, arrogant, prideful buffoon who ran Noelle's kingdom, was extremely jealous of Yuno's popularity and wanted that for himself. If there had been one thing that King Clover seemed fixated on it was being worshipped by the commoners as if he was a god.
Julius finally saw his opening to change the Clover Kingdom for the better at last and used this to his advantage. Thanks to Grey's Transformation Magic, Julius was able to briefly take his old form and not the one he was stuck in right now after resurrecting following his death at the start of the elf incident and was thus able to meet with King Clover in person. During the meeting, and several afterwards, Julius used Augustus's desire to be worshipped to his advantage to persuade the King that if he wanted the adoration of the populace he needed to enact similar reforms to Yuno.
Noelle knew House Kira well, they were the worst of the 3 royal houses when it came to prejudice, corruption, and oppression, but thanks to all that was happening and Augustus's narcissism, they had a chance to make things better in the Clover Kingdom. It helped that Nozel and Fuegoleon backed Julius in this endeavor, so Augustus went with it without questioning their motives.
Naturally, they had to give all credit to the King for things getting better but that was a small price to pay for making the Clover Kingdom better for all and not what it had been before. The King himself didn't even realize that he was being manipulated as he was too distracted by his popularity being at an all time high and the people now actively cheering for him whenever he appeared. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, Julius, along with primarily Marx, Vangeance, and Yami, worked to make the system better with Augustus as their figurehead.
However, there was more to it than just a series of reforms that sent more money to the commoners for building and education and ending prejudicial laws that had given the nobility free reign to oppress the commoners. No, Julius finally had his opening to make the nation better and he was going with it at full force by finally implementing something he'd wanted to implement for years. He had created a special investigative branch of the Magic Knights to root out corruption or abuse withing their ranks.
This initiative came on the heels of numerous cases of Magic Knights abusing their power and status to line their pockets and in some cases commit heinous crimes like rape and even murder under the guise of their rank to get away with their actions. It was long overdue coming in Noelle's opinion.
To help in this endeavor, the investitive branch was made up of 9 Knights, one from each squad, under the leadership of a Knight who'd been doing this for years in secret apparently. Julius didn't say who ran it and only he, Marx, and the members of the special branch knew who was in it, mainly because they had to pass a special check via Marx's magic. This added to the fear for the corrupt Knights as they now didn't know who was and who wasn't investigating them thus enforcing good behavior as well.
However, that didn't excuse bad behavior and already many Knights had already been arrested and questioned by Marx. Social status would not get a knight off this time as they were held to a higher standard due to their position, but good service in the recent conflicts could mitigate things. Few were actually kicked out, just reduced in rank and placed on probation with strict stipulations that should they slip up they would face punishment. Only those who had committed unforgivable crimes and hadn't already atoned in the conflicts were kicked out and sent to prison, most notably the actual Xerx Lügner.
Before joining the Black Bulls Noelle may have had a problem with this due to her status and the prejudices she once held but since joining her squad and getting to know them, one in particular, her views had changed, and she saw this a needed. Nebra and Solid didn't like this at all, but Nozel agreed and was more than willing to kick out any corrupt Silver Eagles who abused their power for their own gain or pleasure. Her eldest brother had always been a strict disciplinarian, so this new branch was agreeable to him on a lot of levels and his support had helped in its establishment.
The simple face was that reforms were always tough, especially when it meant that many nobles would be losing centuries of power they'd built up, but it was for the best to make the kingdom better. Noelle supported the change now that she understood what most of the kingdom went through daily and hoped that in time they could hold their heads high as the nation that the first Wizard King envisioned for them.
The reforms and investigation weren't the only changes, there had been one more that had shocked Noelle when she learned of it. In order to make a better claim to be the Wizard King when the time came, Fuegoleon, Leo, and Nozel had all agreed to spend a year at least, though Leo was expected to spend longer, in the forsaken realm wandering as peasants and living as they did.
In order to do this, they had to change their hair, remove all trappings of royalty, and hide any telling features. To her surprise, they had all done so and seeing her brother without his signature braid and dyed brown hair was a shock that Noelle was still recovering from. The reason for this was that Julius believed that to truly be Wizard King, that person had to know and understand the whole kingdom and its people and their needs. The royals knew they had to do this and hadn't hesitated when Julius had suggested it.
Fuegoleon and Leo made sense, Noelle knew that with the exception of Kirsch, the Vermillions were the most understanding of the commoners of all the noble families. It was the fact that Nozel had agreed to it that had really shocked, but her brother had changed a lot over the last 2 years since she'd become a Magic Knight and it was for the better.
Noelle knew that Nozel's change was in part because of it was her growth, but it had also been affected by what he'd seen in the wake of the elf attack, and thanks to people like Asta and Yuno changing his mind on commoners. Asta himself was exempt from this mission as he already knew the commoners' plight being one himself and was busy with other things.
Finally, Noelle allowed her mind to wander to Asta, though not what she wanted to think about just yet, she needed to think on all that had changed with him since the end of the war and didn't want to get distracted. It actually started during the war when Asta single handedly killed a demon that was about to destroy the Royal Capital while using his devil's power in front of all the nobles there, including the monster who claimed to be a just man that ran the Magic Parliament. It was an act on par with the first Wizard King, if not more impressive given who Asta was, and had big consequences.
The main one was that the scales tipped fully in his favor after that act with even the King on his side now that Asta had saved the King's life. That was small compared to all those he'd saved in the capital due to his actions and he was fully accepted as the great Magic Knight that he was at last. There was also something stranger about his devil, but Noelle didn't really understand that, so she didn't focus on it.
The results were clear though, Asta had been fully acquitted of the false charges brought against him, the real truth of his actions during the elf incident revealed, and he'd reinstated in good standing as a 1st Class Senior Magic Knight. At the same time Black Bulls being welcomed back and now considered second only to the Golden Dawn for Magic Knight squads. That said, they kept their misfit, less than savory, reputation and only those who Yami wanted could join but they were at least more respected.
Speaking of the Black Bulls, there had been another surprise for them during the war, or afterwards for Noelle as she hadn't been around for the reveal. That was the revelation that for the 3rd time there was a member she'd never met, and it was the squad's Vice-Captain no less. Noelle probably should have seen that one coming in hindsight, she'd never heard the title used for any of the squad, but they must have had one seeing as all the other squads seemed to have one.
Turns out they did, a former noble called Nacht who used Shadow Magic and had contracted with 4 Devils using Forbidden Magic. It was because of this, and other factors apparently, that Nacht had spent years as a spy for the Clover Kingdom in the Spade Kingdom but had returned at the outbreak of the war when he discovered the extent of the Dark Triad's plans and had been pivotal in the attack.
Now with the war over though, Nacht had resigned his position as a Magical Knight and gone off to parts unknown claiming that his job was done, and his debt paid so he was off to continue atoning for his sins elsewhere. Noelle didn't understand this at all but opted not to question it as no one who knew spoke of it. In the wake of Nacht's resignation, Yami had named Asta the Vice-Captain of the Black Bulls with no objections from anyone, though Asta did have to buy Yami a new katana for some reason.
Noelle couldn't help but smile at who had been promoted. No one deserved it more than Asta and after her talk with Charlotte well over a year ago Noelle could freely admit it. Asta was the heart and soul of their squad. He had turned them around, made everyone better, and had been instrumental in them become a respected squad, even if he kept putting them in bad situations and hurting himself in the process much to Noelle's chagrin. He was the right choice for the role, and they all agreed.
Of course, that wasn't the only big change with Asta. No, the other big change was thanks to Noelle herself. Almost 18 months ago, thanks to Charlotte Roselei of all people, Noelle had finally faced her feelings and accepted that she was in love with Asta and that had to do something about it. That something started as a series of talks with her rivals, some real, one fake, and some uncertain at the time of the talk, followed by chats with a few important people about her feelings for Asta. It had all culminated in her confession to Asta himself.
It had come right at the end of their time together in the Heart Kingdom, just after the war began but before it intensified. Noelle had a gut feeling that Asta and Finral heading to the hideout with some goodies would be more complicated than usual because this was Asta and shit like this seemed to follow him wherever he went.
She turned out to be right to be worried as the leader of the Dark Triad himself decided to attack and kidnap Yami while Asta was there, but she didn't know that that was what was going to happen when Asta was about to leave. She just knew that something would happen, so she had to tell Asta in that brief window she had.
Of course, her attempt was bungled, and she couldn't get the words out until Asta told her to use her actions rather than her words as she was better with those. It was fitting that Asta would be dense but perfect in that moment and Noelle did just that by suddenly kissing him on the lips to show him her feelings.
It had surprised Asta, but he had returned it after a moment which had been amazing as it meant that he wasn't rejecting her feelings. Noelle still thought on her first kiss and smiled at the memory of kissing Asta in the Heart Kingdom Throne Room and finally being held in his arms like she'd always wanted but had denied wanting for so long.
After the kiss ended she stayed in his arms and finally said the three words she had wanted to say to him for a long time but had been unable to up until that point. She finally said 'I love you' to Asta. At last, he knew that she was in love with him and there was no way even his legendary density could miss it. Noelle knew that her love wasn't reciprocated yet, that was the curse of falling in love with Asta as he had his heart set on someone else, someone who couldn't and didn't want to marry him in Sister Lily. However, that didn't deter Noelle.
No, in fact she had gone to see Sister Lily about Asta to tell her that she loved him and to confirm that Asta was infatuated with the nun. Sister Lily had confirmed all this and supported Noelle's love for him and hoped she would win it. Noelle planned on it, but it required a costly favor from none other than Mereoleona Vermillion.
Mereoleona was the only person Noelle thought could break past Asta's density and as she was going to see the lioness for help on that anyway, she changed her request slightly to ask Mereoleona to help Asta move on from Sister Lily. Of course, Mereoleona wasn't going to help him see Noelle the way she wanted him to see her but that was fair, and Noelle had to endure 4 days of hell training with Mereoleona to pay for the favor, but she did and Mereoleona came to the hideout to take Asta for his training. She then spent 3 days literally slapping sense into Asta.
Noelle learned of all this after her confession and that Asta was still grappling with everything Mereoleona had said to him. He was finally starting to see Sister Lily as his mother figure like he should and not as a wife, but it was taking time for him to break a decade of infatuation. Noelle didn't mind though, she was more than willing to take all the time in the world, and she knew they couldn't start anything right away, so she was willing to wait. All she asked for was a chance from Asta now that he knew how she felt, and he'd promised her that much.
Asta had held up his end after the war, during which he'd saved her life by arriving at the right moment to help her much to her joy, and when the dust settled she'd taken him on the date she promised, after explaining what a date actually was. As things were new and slow between them, she kept it simple with a picnic prepared by Charmy near the base but with Asta simple worked best and he'd enjoyed it. He'd also held her hand the entire time they weren't eating and let her cuddle him after the meal, as well as exchanging some chaste kisses, so Noelle knew things were going in the right direction.
All this was as new to her as it was to Asta so going slow was more than acceptable to her as their relationship grew. Yes she was in love with Asta, but she had to win his as well and that would take time as he got over Sister Lily. He clearly had feelings for her beyond friendship, they were dating, and he initiated kisses or contact at times, so she knew they were going well but it would take time for him to reach her level and she understood and respected that. She even resisted telling him she loved him as much as possible to avoid overwhelming him, though she did say it from time to time to remind him.
They had also been pretty secretive about their budding relationship. That was mainly due to the fact that Asta was the savior of the Clover Kingdom with all his actions being properly honored so he already had enough attention on him, he didn't need the added attention of being romantically linked to the youngest Silva girl. Of course, it did mean that a relationship between them, when it did become public, would be totally accepted so that was good.
While they kept it a secret from most, there were a few who did know the truth. Naturally all the Black Bulls knew, along with Mimosa, Leo, Julius because he had to be informed for some reason, Nozel, and Mereoleona were in the know from basically the beginning. Some because they had seen the kiss, the rest right after they started dating so that there could be no issues with the team, and to show Nozel and Mereoleona that they were now together. That was at the start but since then one more person had been informed, Sister Lily.
That had been different and as much as Noelle had wanted to be there for it, she knew that Asta had to speak to her alone. Well not exactly alone, Nero had gone with Asta as a bird and hidden during the talk but refused to tell Noelle what had been said. Nero was fully supporting their relationship and even gave them space on their dates, but she was still extremely loyal to only Asta and wouldn't divulge a private conversation to Noelle that he had with Sister Lily no matter how many times she asked.
All Noelle knew was that Asta had gone back to Hage and had his private chat with the nun. He'd come back more certain than ever about their relationship and finally verbally confirmed to Noelle that he did have feeling for her that night, though he apologized to her for not being at her level yet when it came to his own feelings compared to hers.
Noelle had been more than thrilled at that though and had kissed him passionately for it, it their first proper make out in fact, knowing that she was one step closer to winning his heart the way he held hers forever and always. It was also the night that they moved their relationship to the next level and finally labeled it at last. Asta was officially now Noelle's boyfriend, and she couldn't be happier.
Of course, she did have to deal with Mimosa in the aftermath of everything. Her cousin was also in love with Asta and had been Noelle's main rival, but Noelle had beaten her to it with her confession to Asta and asking to date him. Out of respect for their friendship she kept Mimosa informed of her progress as Mimosa had requested it even though it was clearly painful for her.
Noelle felt for her cousin, she'd be in the same boat if Mimosa had won and was there for her as much as possible and always respectful if Asta was with them as well. It would take a while for Mimosa to move on, but Noelle was certain she would in the end and hoped her cousin could find happiness the way she had.
There was still one person who needed to know that they hadn't been able to tell yet though, Yuno. That had been because of his new duties as the Spade King so there hadn't been time to tell him. The one time they'd seen him after he took the crown, he reminded Asta that he was leading their rivalry now and had already achieved the position to protect a kingdom they both strove for and was making the Spade Kingdom better so Asta had better catch up. Yuno now expected Asta to become the Wizard King as he couldn't be it.
Naturally Asta rose to this challenge with his usual loud passion. He was more determined than ever to become the Wizard King and working twice as hard to reach that goal. Still, he found the time for his and Noelle's budding relationship which meant a lot to her, and she fully supported him in his quest to become the Wizard King, so she respected the balance they had between duty and personal life. Still, the fact that Yuno still didn't know about them bothered Asta, and Noelle knew it.
However, that was finally about to change. Yuno was holding a massive festival in the Spade Kingdom in a few days, one were all were welcome regardless of status and that included a lot of free food and fun games, to mark the 6-month anniversary of the end of the Dark Triad and the reform of the kingdom for the better. Naturally, Asta was invited and expected to attend as Yuno's personal guest while many Magic Knights from all 9 squads were expected to attend as well.
That meant that it was the perfect time for Asta to tell Yuno of the change in his relationship with Noelle. She would go with him as his date and they'd tell his foster brother, and hopefully one day Noelle's brother-in-law, that they were now a couple. It would also be the first large event they were going to as a couple so it would likely come out soon that they were an item. They would deal with the aftermath when the time came, the most important thing was telling Yuno and letting Asta have his moment that he'd gotten a girlfriend first.
"Thinking of Asta." A familiar voice said breaking Noelle from her thoughts with a start as she noticed she wasn't alone in the bath anymore.
She'd been so distracted while thinking of Asta, something that happened often when she wasn't with him and not doing anything else to the point that the whole squad new her 'Asta' look, that she hadn't noticed one of the other Black Bull girls joining her. Charmy had come in for her bath, complete with several sheep cooks ready to feed her as she bathed and had seen Noelle's look.
"I was just thinking of something." Noelle said with a blush, even after all these months she was still bashful about her relationship with Asta. "And yes it has to do with Asta."
"Oh, and what would that be, usually that look should be reserved for yummy food." Charmy said as she slipped into the bath and a sheep cook passed her a loaded plate designed for eating in the bath. "Course, we all know that you do want to eat Asta in a certain way, so it is understandable."
"Charmy!" Noelle exclaimed going bright red at the hybrid's words. "Not you too."
Since coming clean to the rest of the Black Bulls who hadn't seen the kiss about her relationship with Asta, the other girls had all swarmed Noelle. Well mainly Vanessa who took every private moment to give Noelle all the inappropriate advice about using her womanly ways with Asta that she could. Charmy was more about giving her food that would boost her in ways that Noelle didn't want to question or preparing date meals for them, while Grey was more about how to overcome her embarrassment as usual. Only Nero didn't say much but that was understandable given her relationship with Noelle.
"Sorry couldn't resist." Charmy said as she began to stuff her face. "Vanessa is passed out drunk right now so one of us had to tease you now that you're taken."
"That sounds usual." Noelle said with a slight shake of her head at the witch's behavior. "Where are the other girls?"
"Grey is still in the Capital as they continue to try and figure out what her magic actually is." Charmy said. "The Wizard King is fascinated by it as it is unique and as Grey is now classified as an Arcane Stage Mage they really need to figure it out. Add in that she seems to be on Owen's level of healing, and she's being swamped by the folks there."
That wasn't a surprise to Noelle. Grey's magic had turned out to be extremely strange to the point that it was classified as Arcane Stage meaning that as a Mage, Grey's power couldn't be classified normally. She was a Transformation Mage, but her magic could transform inanimate objects, convert one magic to another, and even heal in some way that she didn't understand, all abnormal for what Transformation Magic was believed to be able to do.
All that made her an Arcane Stage Mage, one of 5 Black Bulls at that stage along with Yami, Asta, Vanessa, and Nero. It also meant that now Grey was being requested by several people so that they could talk with her and learn what her magic actually was which for the extremely shy woman was a living nightmare.
"That sounds like Grey's version of hell." Noelle said. "You know how uncomfortable attention from us, her friends, makes her. I can't imagine how embarrassed she is right now."
"Yeah she requested Gauche be with her, he seems to be able to calm her down for some reason though he's still his usually self apparently." Charmy said as she ate. "So, she's getting by, but she'll be a wreck when she returns."
"Which just means that we will all have to be there for her when the time comes." Noelle said simply. "And Nero, where is she?"
"In her bird form in the common room just chilling as usual." Charmy said. "You know how she is; she never leaves Asta's side unless it's to sleep, bathe, or when you and he get really cute with each other."
"Yeah I know, it doesn't help my jealousy when she's often around or on his head but what can I do, she's basically his bodyguard at this point and I know she's basically sworn fealty to him." Noelle said with a sigh. "She's accepted that I'm Asta's girlfriend and still doesn't know her own feelings but it's always uncomfortable with her so close."
"I know, when I marry my Prince of Provision I'll have to deal with that little bug of his that he can't get rid of cos she's bound to his grimoire." Charmy said. "And she is actually a rival."
"Oh yeah, Sylph, or Bell as he calls her, is strangely in love with Yuno, that is still weird." Noelle said remembering the annoying insect that was for some reason the Wind Spirit and who was convinced that Noelle had wanted Yuno the one time they'd been forced to interact together. "I'm looking forward to telling her that I have no feelings for Yuno and that I'm Asta's woman when I next see her. That will finally shut her up when we get to the Spade Kingdom."
"Wait, you're going to see my prince!" Charmy said ignoring her food as she gaped at Noelle. "Soon!"
"Well yes, Asta is Yuno's guest for the festival coming up and I'm going with him as his date though Yuno doesn't know that part yet." Noelle said. "It's long overdue that Yuno learns of our relationship, and I know Asta really wants to tell him it in person, so this is the best time."
"Ok, I'm coming with you whether you like it or not." Charmy said. "And you know you can't stop me short of Asta's anti-magic as I can hide just about anywhere, and I mean anywhere Noelle."
"I really hope that you aren't referring to what I think you are Charmy." Noelle said instinctively crossing her legs. "But I wouldn't put it past you in this instance."
"I must see my prince, or should I say may king now that he's become one." Charmy said as her eyes sparkled. "And this is perfect for the plan I have."
"You're starting to disturb me Charmy." Noelle said a little worried at the look on Charmy's face and the fact that she hadn't take a bite of her food since Noelle mentioned she was going to the Spade Kingdom soon. "And that's not just because you've stopped eating to talk about this. What is your plan? I get the feeling we can't stop you so at least tell me what it is so I can see if I can help you."
"Nope, where there is yummy food and Yuno there Charmy will be." Charmy said with a smile. "And my plan is simple as I've been thinking about this ever since I saw you and Asta kissing in the Heart Kingdom and knew I had an ally in you two. You two are going to help me secure a date with my king."
"As much as I want to say no, that is actually something I thought about as well in the past." Noelle said surprising Charmy.
"You did!" Charmy exclaimed happily.
"Not in that sense but I knew you were never a threat to me because of your open crush on Yuno." Noelle said. "So, I knew that we could be allies if need be as the objects of our affections are closer than brothers and thus we could use that. Naturally, I support you being with Yuno above others as you are my friend and squad mate."
"Thank you Noelle." Charmy said with a smile and thankfully not offering her food, Noelle and the other girls had made it clear that they wouldn't eat in the bath even if Charmy did. "And I would have supported you and Asta too had I known of the war you and others had for him, though I don't understand his appeal. Asta's great and makes us all better but he didn't save my food."
"Thankfully, you were blinded by your gut and Yuno inadvertently discovering that the way to your heart is through your stomach." Noelle said. "But it is good to know that my squad would have supported me. Anyway, I take it that we are going to have to bring you with us to the Spade Kingdom to see Yuno."
"Correct and as he knows me and as I was one of the Magic Knights who saved them it will be fine." Charmy said. "It isn't the first time I've shown up where he is with Asta either."
"It's not when…" Noelle began before she remembered the side mission Charmy and Asta had accidently ended up on when they had gone to give a simple report to the Wizard King about the Underwater Temple. "Kiten, you went with Asta, Finral, and Captain Yami when it was attacked by the Diamond Kingdom."
"Correct because that was where my prince was, so I went to him." Charmy said before adding. "And to protect Asta as he couldn't' fight well at the time and the Captain wouldn't let him go without someone to protect him and Finral didn't meet that qualification."
"I remember." Noelle said. "Ok, it isn't the end of the world that you tag along, and three Magic Knights is an acceptable delegation, well four including Nero but she will likely be in bird form the entire time as that is how she goes undetected. Plus, you do know Yuno so he shouldn't mind and as a Black Bull he knows Asta sees you as family."
"All pluses that will work in my favor." Charmy said happily. "But you need to be on point as well Noelle. I don't want to tell Asta as he may accidentally stop it, you know how dense he is."
"As much as I love him I agree, he's too dense to be trusted but he may accidentally help us, so we had better be ready to play off what he says." Noelle said as an idea struck her, she'd have to thank Kahono for it when they next saw her and told her that she and Asta were dating, even if she still hadn't forgiven that minx for what she'd put Noelle's heart through during the Star Awards Festival. "And I know just how we will do it thanks to a meddling songstress trying it with me in the past."
"How?" Charmy asked.
"We show up and there will be two guys and two girls, I won't be counting Nero or Bell in that number." Noelle said with a grin. "And after the pleasantries, catch up, and Asta and Yuno's traditional pissing contests that they always have, one of us will suggest we go on a double date for the festival when the time is right."
"Yes, that would work." Charmy said with a wide smile at the idea and already planning her own twist on it. "My king can't deny that, and the bug would just have to deal with it."
"Plus, it means we can keep an eye on you and prevent you from eating the Spade Kingdom barren like you tried with Heart." Noelle said adding an extra layer to the plan to guarantee success. "Kahono taught me that with these things one has to be cunning and multi-leveled to get it. I will help set you up with the right situation, after that it's up to you."
"Don't worry, I'll get Yuno with my sexiness." Charmy said as she struck a pose in the bath that surprised Noelle by how good Charmy looked in it. "He can't resist me."
"He's almost as dense as Asta so it you will be surprised by how little he gets." Noelle said. "But you can do it. You will have to put up with Bell though."
"I can deal with that bug, me and her know what's up whenever I'm around." Charmy said dismissively. "Alright, let's plan this. You've won you're man, now it's time for me to win mine and then we can help the other girls get their guys, or girls if they're into that I don't actually know about some of them."
"I don't know who Grey likes." Noelle admitted. "And Vanessa may like Yami which could cause problems as I know who else likes him but can't say and might have to stay out given who it is and how much I owe that woman. As for Nero, well the only one she'd fall for is Asta."
"Well start with me, then we can find out how to help Grey." Charmy said. "So, when we get to the Spade Kingdom we…"
Noelle just smiled as she and Charmy began discussing how to put their plan into action. It would take the rest of the bath and a lot of food from Charmy's sheep cooks that the little woman ate all of but in the end they had a sense for what the plan was.
It was going to be interesting at least but Noelle would help her friend get her chance with the guy she liked. More importantly though, Noelle couldn't wait to see Yuno's face when he learned of her and Asta. That was going to be priceless.
