Here are a few things about me and the fics that I like to write or read.

I am new to writing Castle fics but I have watched the show from the beginning.

I started writing these stories on my phone while waiting for my two boys to get out of school one day.

I absolutely adore Christmas fics and holiday ones in general.

I don't mind mature themes but I do mind character death fics. I read to escape life, I don't need them to depress me.

I love reviews but I don't always remember to leave them for others. I am working on rectifying that though.

My spelling absolutely sucks, thank goodness for spell check.

I read for some other fandoms also but it's unlikely that I will write for them. I used to write (with a different pen name) for another fandom years ago but got out of it when I had kids and my favorite character left the show. When I first discovered this site about 10 years ago, I usually liked the non-traditional pairings but now, I seem to only do the 'normal ones.' For the most part at least.

If you ever have a comment or critique about one of my stories, please contact me directly. I would like to try to fix something if you have a problem with it, if it is something I can fix. If you don't let me know who you are, I can't contact you back.

Update 6/10/12

Gee a year since the last profile update. Oops. A few things real quick. You can find me on Twitter, Archive of Our Own (AO3) and blogspot. I am CharlieOKelley on each of those sites so it should be easy to find me. I will be adding my stories to my blog and AO3 gradually, starting with the M rated stories. I also am looking into get a personal webpage, I like those better than blogs. Maybe I am just weird like that, and yes, I write the html out myself.

I am still working on lots of different stories some are cowritten with a friend. Teach Me More is one of them. I also need to finish up Recovering from Guilt which was my post Season 3 finale fic. I am also working on a post Season 4 finale fic but I won't start posting it until it is finished. There were other things that I wanted to mention but now I can't remember what they are.

Update 5/1/11

Geez, it's May already. Boy does time fly. I am desperately working on as many stories as I can before school is out for the summer, also known as "don't let Mommy write" time. I am finishing up a M rated story called Murder at the Toy Store, and I will soon be posting a story that I will need your help with. I will explain it fully when I post the first chapter, but basically, you tell me which way the story goes and I will try to do that.

Update 4/1/11

Not an April Fool's Joke. I have several stories in the works and hopefully this weekend I will have time to focus on my writing instead of everything else that is going on. Unfortunately, the kids have break all next week so I don't know how much I'll be able to write then. I am really hoping to work more on the Justice for Kate story but I keep getting distracted by another story I have been pondering. That other story, so far unnamed, will be coming soon but I will need my readers help with it. You will understand what I mean when I post it. I think it will be fun.

Update 3/27/2011

The M-Rated chapter for Submitting to Trust has been uploaded as a unique story. I wanted to keep the rest of it in the T-rated section and this new part is definately M-Rated. I am still working on trying to recover some files to be able to post the next chapters of Justice for Kate. Hopefully, I will have it recovered and then at a good stopping spot by tomorrow. It might end up being a short chapter at first while I get the rest of the story fleshed out. Thanks loads to everyone for being patient with me.
