Chapter 13: Conversations- Part 4

"I thought that my life sucked," Harry said to Hermione. "Now I'm reading about a kid that makes my life look normal."

"And his poor mother," Hermione said. "I would hate it if I had to watch my mother die."

"I'm still seeing no point in reading these books," Ron said. "They're full of words that make no sense and I want things to make sense."

"Ron, they do make sense."

"No, they don't."

Harry saw no point in trying to make his point clear. It was clear that Ron would never understand the Muggle world.

"Don't worry about it," Remus said as Ron stalked off. "Even I have some trouble but nothing like this."

"I'm worried that I'm going to end up like him."

"A person too determined not to understand anything."

Remus put his hand on Harry's shoulder and said, "I doubt you'll end up like that."

Harry hoped he was right.

Time in the room, everyone learned, moved at a difference pace than outside the room. Neither of them knew what time or if it was even day or night. Their food arrived, which they ate, and Harry wondered what was going on out there. What was Voldemort doing right now?

"Let's start with the next chapter," Narcissa said. "Who will read?"

"I will," Snape said and he took the book and opened it. "I am Offered a Quest."
