Chapter 85 (All Hallows Thieves)

"Are you sure that you want to do this?" Mom asked.

"Yes," Alex said flatly. "They need to be held accountable for everything that they are doing to me Mom."

"Alright then." Mom said.

The three of us headed to the police precinct to file charges on both Kingston and MacFord. As we enter the place there was a lot of movement. Mom led us to the main desk, where a female officer stood there.

"Hello can I help you?" the female officer asked.

"Yes," Mom said. "We want to file charges for both bullying and assault."

"Really?" The female officer asked. "Can I ask who is want to file and on who?"

"It's for my daughter Alexis Black," Mom said. "It's against Jessica MacFord and Alice Kingston."

"Is the person who wants to file the charges here?" The officer asked.

"Yes I'm right here," I said. "I want to file charges on both of them for bullying and assaulting me numerous times."

"Do you have evidence of these supposed bullying and assault?" The officer asked.

"Yes we do," Mom said pulling out a file filled with everything that both Kingston and Macford did to Alex. As having thing about how the school was doing nothing about it. "Here are everything about the two of them bullying and assaulting my daughter. I wanted them to be held accountable for it."

She placed the file on the desk and pushed it over to the officer.

"We will look into it." The officer said.

"If we don't hear from you then we will be back," Mom said simply. "We will keep coming back until its handle."

The officer just smiled at us.

Heading down to the Lair to see the Guys. The chill in the air was nice apart from the summer heat that was trying to linger.

"Do you think the cops are going to do something?" Tabs asked.

"I hope so," I said

The elevator came to a stop and stepped out into the lair to see the guys were still training.

Mikey turned to see us.

"Hey, Dudettes." He said.

"Hey, Guys!" I said loudly.

Mikey bounced over with a large goofy grin.

"It's nearly all hallows eve." He said happily as a kid on sugar.

"Yes we know Mikey, let's just hopes it's a good one," I said.

"Your not a fan of Halloween?" Don asked.

"No I love Halloween and I love that it's also my birthday," I muttered

"Well that cool to be born on Halloween," Mikey said. "Do you have an awesome Halloween slash birthday party?"

"Most of the time we celebrate it on the weekend of it so others can be able to trick and treat." I reasoned

"Understandable," Don said.

"If it alright with you guys I just want to hang out," I said.

"Come on Killer let's get some video games to destroy," Raph said. "You might even beat Mikey's high score."

(Tabs P.O.V.)

I watched as Alex and Raph walked away.

"No way you're going to beat my high score!" Mikey Yelled.

"Wait Mikey, I need to tell you guys something," I said. "Alex filed charges against Kingston and MacFord on bullying her. They got worst, they dumped paint over all her and called her Carrie."

"They did what?" The Guys demanded.

"Yeah, and the school doesn't want to do anything about that why Alex started with file charges against them," I said.

"We need to avenged Alex," Mikey said. "Time for revenge!"

"I agree," Don said.

"Well, whatever it is Ava wants in on it," I said.

"We will work on something big," Mikey said looking at Don.

"I'm sure we can think of something." He said.

"You don't mess with the Hamato Clan," Leo growled.

Halloween was fast approaching, seeing Police were talking with the office asking the office staff, hoping that means that there were following up with the file charges, passing Alex in the hallway giving her a look of shit was going down, yet both Kingston and Macford were still going in the campaign of hate and pain towards Alex. Alex for all of it she refused to fight with them. I wanted to know what The Guys were planning but they were not saying anything nor was Ava saying anything. I knew that Alex hadn't said anything about what they know or if she wanted them to do it. The leaves were quickly changing and were falling in the seesaw path. Pumpkin and earthly scents were flooding in. Soon it would be November and that meant Thanksgiving. Halloween decorations were covering the windows and Halloween fliers filled the newspapers. I knew most people were moving into the party and candy. Even the teachers were getting into the Halloween fun.

Alex told the Guys that we would be celebrating Alex's birthday this weekend. Still nothing from the Guys and Ava on what they were going to do as revenge on Kingston and Macford.

(Alex P.O.V.)

Glancing looking at the digital clock at reading 11:59 pm. In less than a minute it would be my birthday and I would 18 meaning I would be aged out of the supposed great prophecy. The clock switched to read 12:00 am.

"Happy birthday," I whispered to myself before allowing myself to fall asleep.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you Happy birthday dear Alex happy birthday to you!" Mom's singing voice woke me up from my sleep.

Pushing myself up and smile at her, Tabs walks in holding a lit candle in a black and orange frosted cupcake.

"Happy birthday Alex," Tabs said with a large smile.

Offering her a smile and blow out the candle. We all cheered at it.

"Happy Birthday love," Mom said. "And to many more."

"Thank you, Guys," I said smiling brightly.

"Alright what do you want for breakfast?" Mom asked.

"Pancakes please?" I asked.

"Of course anything else?" Mom asked.

"Could I have a hot chocolate with it?" I asked.

"Of course love," She said. "You get dressed and come out."

Tabs smiled at me and headed out of my room. Hoping up making my bed, dressing in skinny black jeans, and pulled out an orange and black stripe long shelve shirt. Pulling my hair up and made quick work of pulling it into a braid. Before heading into the dining room. The dining slash living room was done up in black, orange, and purple paper steamer, and balloons of the same colors. The dining room table was covered in plates, glass, and silver wear. There were some wrapped gifted presents in the bright and shiny coloring of orange and black as well a few were warp in cartoon comics.

"So Happy birthday," Tabs said handing me over a small gift that was wrapped in shiny black and orange paper. "Here it's a little something."

"Thank you," I said offering a large smile. Ripping the warping paper off to find a black box pushing off the lid to find a bright and shiny silver bracelet. The charm on the bracelet was a simple circle that was inlaid with a shiny red stone. "It's beautiful Tabs thank you."

"Your welcome," Tabs said. "The cool part of the bracelet and charm has a tracker in it so if we get lost then we can find each other."

"Thank you Tabs," I said slipping it over onto my wrist. It fit perfectly.

Tabs gave me her smile.

"Girls, food is ready." Mom said.

She appeared from the kitchen holding a plate of steaming pancakes that were in the shape of pumpkins and other Halloween shapes. Sitting speedily and took a deep breath and enjoy the smell of the pancakes and the melting butter as well as the sweet smell of the maple syrup. Mom also placed turkey bacon and sausages on the table.

"Happy Birthday once again Alex." Mom said.

"Thank you again, Mom," I said.

The school day was nearly over both Kingston and MacFord hadn't done anything but both Tabs and I stood on guard many of the other students were in the holiday spirit, the hallways were filled with color steamers and many of the lockers had different Halloween symbols decorating them. As well as many of the other students were in costumes as well, the rules no weapons or masks. The shrill ring alerted us to the end of the day.

"Enjoy your Halloween night of trick and treat!" The teacher called as everyone rushed past, taking my time giving a small smile and nod to the teacher before heading out into the wild halls. The fact that it was Halloween night, Hades my godly parent would make an appearance, giving the location of the meet. My spidery scent tingly moving with speed to dodge balloons that were filled with something gross smell. Meeting eyes with Kingston who's arm was falling back. Offering her a smirk as I walked past.

"Happy Halloween," I whispered. "Have a fun night."

Allowing fear to slip out, a whimper rang to my ear coming from Kingston's mouth.

Walking away from her to meet up with Tabs.

"Happy Halloween!" Tabs yelled.

"Happy Halloween!" I shouted.

Pushing the large doors away from us as we walked outside of Halloween night. Children were laughing and running through the street dressed in costumes with parents running after them.

"So are we tricking and treating?" Tabs asked.

"Well I do want to go to the Halloween parade," I said. "And I do have a meeting Hector."

"Understood," Tabs replied as we headed for the subway.

Drums and horns alerted us at the parade were started, both of us were dressed in demigod gear making us look like modern warriors from Rome. We hope that we would meet up with the Guys there. People pushed up to the railing to see the parade and enjoy the night of misfit and fun. People began to walk down the street don in various crazy costumes.

"Are you having fun?" Tabs asked.

"Yeah, I am are you?" I asked.

Tabs gave me a smile in response, more people came walking down, yet there were screams. We pushed through the crowd thinking that it was just part of the parade but so we realized that its part of it A small winged gargoyle-like creature flew at a woman. Reacting with a swift kick to send it flying away.

"Hey, are you okay?" Tabs asked helping the woman up.

"There more coming," The woman cried. "I need to warn everyone."

"Where did they come from?" Tabs asked.

"There came from the blue star hotel." She cried before running away from us.

We shared a look and ran towards the blue star hotel. Getting closer to the blue star hotel to find more of their small winged gargoyle-like creatures swapping and stealing things, low and below the Guys were there.

"Why is when there is outta chaos going on you Guys can be found in the center of it?" I questioned.

"I wish I knew why?" Don asked.

We watched as the creatures were dropping stolen items at the feet of two men, both wearing blue, one in a suit the other where a robe of blue and yellow.

"There they are!" Leo yelled.

"Explain?" Tabs demanded.

"Come on," Leo ordered.

"We tell you later," Don said running after Leo and the others.

"Those creatures are still following us, Boss!" I heard the one in the suit said.

"Nothing to worry about Hadji," The robed guy said lifting a golden figure. "The power of the idol is more than enough to deal with them."

They took off running, making us given chase. Chasing them into an alleyway. As we got closer the robed guy was kneeling and chanting as red light appeared on the figure.

The figure began to grow and try the blue.

"Ah man," Raph said. "I hate magic."
The figure began to move and be alive, it was massive with six arms with a blue skin tone.

"That's April's statue?" Don asked. "You think she would be asking for more money for it?"

"Crash them!" The robed man yelled pointing at us.

It jumped and crashed onto the ground causing it to shake.

"Well like they said the freaks come out at night," Mikey said.

"Well, I'm for putting them back to bed," Raph said.

Pulling our weapons and launched an attack, rushing at the statue made alive. As we fought at the statue which was proving hard if not downright unstoppable. Being thrown away before getting back up and jumping right back into the fight.

"This guy is tough," Mikey muttered.

"Keeping going," Leo ordered.

"How many arms does one monster need?" Mikey asked.

The monster managed to get into a dead end. Raph growled.

"He's boxing us in," Leo said. "We need more room to maneuver."

"Guys," Raph said. "Follow my lead."
He moved, jump on the living statue, and climbed up the fire escape ladder. The rest of us quickly followed. The living statue started to shake the fire escape.

"Go, Go, Go!" Leo yelled.

We climbed up as fast as we could, the living statue climbed after us.

As we reached the roofline we disappeared from view, the living statue pulled out some gas pipes. Raph launched him only to be sent flying back and crashed to the ground and didn't get back up. Leo and Don then attacked themselves. Leo and Don were slapped and it sent them both flying. Mikey and the two of us ran from behind.

"Hey Ugly!" Mikey yelled before throwing one of his nun-chuck into the living statue's face. It growled and looked down at us.

"Oops," Mikey muttered before being hit and sent him flying into a wall.

Tabs began to shoot arrows.

"My father is the god of thieves, not you!" She yelled.

It growled and swung before sending us both flying into the short wall. The air left my lungs as I hit the wall.

The living statue growled and ran at Mikey.

"Mikey get up!" Don yelled. "Mikey!"
Don threw his bo staff which tripped up the living statue sending him flying over the roof and missing Mikey. Mikey looked upright as the living statue went flying over the roof into the street before. A loud thud sounded below us. We ran to make sure Mikey was okay as well as seeing a large hole in the street that when down to the subway level.

"Mikey, you okay?" Don asked.

"On there one pothole I wouldn't want to hit with the shell cycle," Raph said.

We headed down to the hole to see that the hole did go to the subway level. At first glance we couldn't see the living statue, we hopped down to see and find the living statue. "Yahoo little boy blue!"Mikey whistled.

As Don walked with his bo staff at the ready. A subway roared past up us sending air flying past us, all while Don was still looking for the living statue.

"You think the fall took care of him?" Raph suggested.

"I don't know," Don said looking at us. Right as the rumble began to move and appeared the living statue.

"Look out!" Leo yelled.

"All take that as a no," Raph muttered.

It roared at us.

"We can do this!" Leo ordered. "Fight in tandem move fast, get in, get out don't let him grab you."

We evaded the living statue and getaway. Mikey landed a quick and strong kick, sending the living statue back into a post. A train sounded.

"Keep pushing him back!"Leo yelled.

We keep getting him to move back closer and closer to the rail. It seems to realize what the plan was so as Leo when to attack he grabbed Leo by his wrist and stuck the blades into the ceiling as Raph fought to lift an arm that was broken off. Leo using gravity managed to free his blades and kick the living statue leg and two arms off. Right as Raph using the broken arm into the living statue head and face. Leo gave a kick and sent the living statue into the oncoming train. Raph nearly slipped into the train way.

"I got ya!"Leo yelled grabbing Raph.

"Subway train one, large ugly monster zero," Raph said.

A bright red light appeared around the broken part of the living statue before disappearing.

Coming back up to the street level to see the so-called king of thieves being put in a cop car. Two cops looked at us.

"Thanks for all your help," the taller one said. "Why do you kids run along and have fun with your trick and treating."

"Uh okay," Raph said.

Mikey smiled brightly

"Candy here I come." He said and ran off with the rest of us walking after him

Getting happy birthday's from the Guys before heading off to meet with Hades or his code name Hector. Walking through the Greenwood cemetery, seeing the ghosts that were at a party, and walking towards the gates. Heading to the Charlotte Canda mausoleum. Taking a breath and gently placed my hand on the gate. It opens on its own, seeing all darkness. With a flick of the wrist, a fireball appeared above my hand as more fireball appeared around me.

"Hello?" I questioned.

"Who dares enter the world of the dead?" A loud and booming voice shouted.

"I dare, Alex Black Daughter of Hades!" I yelled.

Fire came to life, there in the center of the room appeared a male figure in an all-black suit.

"Hello, Daughter." The figure said.

He looked up to show an older man with black hair and beard, cold brown eyes.

Giving a deep bow and smile.

"Hello Father," I replied.

His cold eyes began warm and he offered a large smile.

"Hello my dear," He said. "And Happy birthday."

Rushing over and giving him a tight hug which he happily returned.
