Working on getting ready for this test, and as well going to the SAT class. It feels like a giant kindly one playing the long and waiting game. Alex kept pushed herself into studying more and more just made me both a mix of pride and awe at her drive on passing this test.
Studying on my own P-SAT book as Alex slipped past me, glance at her to see that her hair was pulled up into a messy bun. Holding the P-SAT book close to her. She disappeared into the kitchen. She soon reappeared with toast behind held in place by her teeth. She offered a nod of the head and disappeared back into her room. Just rolling my eyes and when back into studying myself.

"Ava passes the peanuts," I said. "Please."
A bowl of peanuts came sliding over the dining room table. Ava had been pulled into studying with us. Her father had found out that we were studying for the SAT, he asked if Ava could join in. We happily welcome her into the study group.
"Why do we have to do this?" Ava asked.
"Truthful I think the adults in the world like to tortured teenagers," Alex muttered, nose deep in the book.
"Well this is just evil," Ava added.
"Yeah, but we need to focus on studying and get through it," I replied. "Focused ladies."
"We are trying," Alex said reaching for her water bottle.
"A research assistant randomly selected 75 undergraduate students from the list of all students enrolled in the psychology-degree program at a large university. She asked each of the 75 students, "How many minutes per day do you typically spend reading?" The mean reading time in the sample was 89 minutes, and the margin of error for this estimate was 4.28 minutes. Another research assistant intends to replicate the survey and will attempt to get a smaller margin of error. Which of the following samples will most likely result in a smaller margin of error for the estimated mean time students in the psychology-degree program read per day?."
"Well, what do you think is the answer?" I asked.
"Well I'm thinking the answer is B," Ava said.
"Well you are unfortunately wrong," Alex said. "It said that the right answer is C actually."
"Why?" Ava asked.
"The book said this Choice C is correct. Increasing the sample size while randomly selecting participants from the original population of interest will most likely result in a decrease in the margin of error." Alex said.
"Alright but it is still dumb in my eyes," Ava said.
"Yeah, but we still need to pass it to be able to get into a good college," I replied.
Ava just rolled her eyes at the comment.
"If you don't want to study you can leave," Alex muttered.
"Alex." I groaned.
"Rude," Ava said.
"Sorry," Alex muttered before looking up. "I'm just worried about getting in NYU."
"I understand that but still you don't need to be rude," Ava said.
"Right sorry again." She replied before looking back at her book.
"Shall we go back for another question?" I asked.
"Sure." Ava and Alex replied.

After signing up to take the test is when we both found out that both Alex and I were going to be taking the SAT in a different place within the school, which was a great aid for both of us. Studying more and more until it came to the night before the SAT test.
"How are you feeling about the test tomorrow?" I asked.
As we sat on the sofa looking at T.V. Mom had put her foot down about making us relax for the night.
Alex offered me a small smile and shake of her head.
"I'm worried that I'm not going to pass this test." She replied gripping her knees tightly.
"It's going to be ok," I replied reaching over and placed a hand on her knee. "We study and just need to make an offering to Lady Athena to help us with the test."
Alex took a deep breath and nod her head at it. We both stood and headed to the family altar that we also kept cleared and kept offering for the gods and goddesses.
"Oh Lady Athena please aid us in the SAT test tomorrow," I prayed. "Please accepted our offering of fruits so we will do well on the SAT test."
Alex carefully placed the fruits onto the altar and offered her own silent prayer to Lady Athena.
We both shared a look and nod of the head before heading to bed praying that tomorrow was going to be a good day of test-taking.
Waking up to rain pouring down in sheet, fighting a groan that was begging to come out. Pushing past it and got dressed into comfy but nice-looking clothes, pulling my hair up into a tight braided bun. Smelling cinnamon and raspberry call me from my room to find Mom was spooning out oatmeal into bowls, raspberry jam and cinnamon lay open in the open. Causing my mouth to water. Raspberry rose from a black mug, Raspberry tea. Alex appeared, wearing black sweats and completely comfy. Her hair was pulled into a tight ponytail.
"You look comfy." I teased sitting down and pulling a bowl to me, grabbing the raspberry jam.
"I would rather be comfy," She replied sitting down herself. "Thanks for the food Mom."
She pulled the other bowl and started to eat.
Mom just offered a smile and placed two glasses of water next to Alex and me.
"Drink some water," She replied. "It will help you."
"Thanks, Mom." We both said.
"Not a problem," She replied with a smile. "You girls are going to do great."
"Thanks for the vote of confidence," Alex said with a smile.
Looking at the clock and figure it was time to head to the SAT test.
Taking a breath as Alex and I walked our own way to go take our place for the SAT. Alex when one way, while I was lead a different way.
As I passed the headphones over my ears and listen to the questions.
"Anise needs to complete a printing job using both of the printers in her office. One of the printers is twice as fast as the other, and together the printers can complete the job in 5 hours. The equation above represents the situation described. Which of the following describes what the expression represents in this equation?"
Listening and reading to the question and thinking of what could be the right answer to the question.
Hoping that Alex was fairing just as well or better than myself while taking this test.
"Aaron is staying at a hotel that charges $99.95 per night plus tax for a room. A tax of 8% is applied to the room rate, and an additional one-time untaxed fee of $5.00 is charged by the hotel. Which of the following represents Aaron's total charge, in dollars, for staying x nights?"
Listening and coloring in the answer from the bubble sheet.

Somehow we didn't die from taking the test, but we didn't leave the apartment for at least two days.
"Keep the faith that we did well on the test," Alex said laying in the large bean bag chair.
"I'm sure we did well on the test," I replied. "You know that we need to send out applicants for colleges and universities now."
"Ugh," Alex groaned. "Don't remind me."
"You're going to be fine," I replied with a smile.
"Where are you going to apply then?" She asked looking with keen interest.
"Well," I replied laying back on the sofa. "NYU, MIT, Stony Brook, Barnard, Boston, and Binghamton. What about you?"
"NYU of course," She replied. "But I'm also going to apply to Penn State, Cornell, and Hunter"
"Alright then," I replied. "We should tell the Guys."
"Yeah." She added.
The door open to show Mom, She took in the sight of us laying in the living room being lazy.
"Alright Girls time to do the work for the colleges." She announced.
"Got it, Mom!" We called.
"Top choices please?" Mom asked.
We both share a look and smile.
"NYU!" We yelled.
She gave us a smile and nod at the choice.
"Why am I not surprise?" She questioned. "What are second choices?"
"MIT," I said.
"Penn State," Alex replied.
"Alright then," Mom said. "Let's get those applicants out."

Holding the envelopes tightly as Alex and I waited to mail the applicants out.
"Next!" A post office worker called.
Taking a breath before walking up and placed the envelopes down.
"I need to get this weight and send it off please," I said.
"Of course," The worker said. "It's going to be five dollars and forty-five cents please."
Handing over the money and give a nod of their head and walked out to wait for Alex. She soon appeared next to me and offered a smile.
"It's going to be okay." She replied with a smile.
A chill in the air danced around us, which was followed by a roar from a kindly one. We shared a look that became a smirk, running towards the roar. Finding ourselves in a battle with a kindly one, which was easy work to end it and sent it back to the underworld.

Walking into the foyer of the apartment, Alex walked past me to unlock the mailbox. She pulled out two white envelopes that were addressed us. We shared a look and gave a worried smile, a mix of fear and anxiety was spinning in my stomach. It had been at least a month since we took the SAT. Heading upstairs holding the white envelopes not sure what to say or do.
"We will open it when we get inside," Alex suggested, just nodding in response.
The mix was climbing up into my chest into my throat. The ride up was killing me, my whole body was on the edge of screaming and crying in fact a whole mix of emotions were fighting to come out. Glazing to see Alex responded, she was deathly still. Fear was bubbling up, but she wasn't showing it. Her hand was shaking and gripping the envelope tightly.
Forcing air in and out my body brings me back to a center. Reaching out and held her hand. She looks at me. Deer in the headlights shot back at me.
"Breath," I replied. "In, out."
She followed as I breathe in and out. A ding broke our attention as the doors slide open.
"Let's go." She said leading us out and into the apartment.
As the door shut behind us.
"So," I said. "Should we?"
"Let's get this over with then." She said.
"On the count of three," I said.
We held out the two envelopes.
"1, 2, 3." I counted out.
Ripping the envelope open and pulled out the paper. Reading to see my score. Seeing that with my reading and writing score which was a 730 while my math was 780 which was a grand total of 1510. A small squeak came from Alex.
"Good or bad?" I asked.
"I think well," She replied. "I got with reading and writing a 660 and Math is 690 which is 1350. What about you?"
"I got 1510," I replied.
We smile and hugged each other.
"We did well!" Alex cheered laughed.
"The Guys are not going to believe it." I laughed.
Okay, that end of chapter 94 more is coming please tell me what you think but please use Constructive criticism.
