Chapter 99 Future Shell Shock

The lair was peaceful apart from the T.V. room where Raph and Mikey were fighting over the control of the remote much like normal.

"For the last time Mikey," Raph growled. "It's my day."

"Yup, you're lucky day," Mikey laughed. "Because we're watching the twenty-four-hour sci-fi megathon."

The T.V. kept switching back and forth.

"Give me that remote Mikey," Raph growled. "Or I'm flipping you instead of the channels."

Mikey blew a raspberry at Raph and changed the channel.

Leo, Don, Master Splinter, and I were watching it.

"Fifteen years of ninja training," Leo said. "And it all comes down to wrestling smackdown and to zombies from Saturn 4."

"Where did I go wrong?" Master Splinter question rubbing the top of his head.

"No idea Master Splinter," I reply watching the both of them fighting.

"This is normal for me," Alex muttered.

"Why can't they come to an agreement?" Ava asked.

"They did but Mikey is not honoring it," Leo muttered.

Mikey and Raph ended the fight with Mikey winning.

"I win!" Mikey called.

"Oh yeah?" Leo question as Donnie and Leo jumped on them,

Causing me to laugh loudly at the remote when flying onto the rug. All four of them jumped for it. As Master Splinter acted by taking his cane and twisted the rug tying all of them in the rug. Letting him land on the sofa and remote in his hand.

"This is pointless," He said. "You all know my soaps are coming on in five minutes." he turned to grab the remote to the T.V.

"That five minutes of Sci-Fi goodness," Mikey replied using his foot to change the channel.

A flash of light came over us and suddenly we were in an empty lair and I was freezing looking down I realized I was naked. A streak of blush across my face. I glanced at Alex to see she was in the same problem a large blush came across her face. She took a breath and pulled the shadows to give her shadow clothes. The guys looked around and realized that they were naked as well.

"Hey, where are our masks?" Raph asked. "And your weapons, I feel totally naked."

The guys all made more noise more blushing came up. I glanced to my right to see Master Splinter was naked as well. Alex instantly covered Ava's eyes.

"Hey," Ava said.

"Not a word." He ordered.

"Tabs what is…?" Mikey started to ask but Donnie covered his eyes.

"Not a word," I muttered. "Not a word." Donnie wordless handed me the brown rug. Pulling the rug apart and covering myself, and handed it to Ava, who ripped it apart and made something for us to cover ourselves. As well as creating something for Alex.

"We're good," Alex said.

Mikey screamed, making me look to see the T.V. was missing.

"The T.V. is gone." he cried.

I looked around to find an empty lair.

"Forget the T.V.," Leo said. "The whole Lair is trashed."

"What the Shell happened?" Raph asked.

"Outside quickly." Master Splinter ordered.

We ran through the new sewers and managed to climb up to see a massive new city which was awe-inspiring and shocking.

"Nice going, Mikey!" Raph called. "You didn't just change the channel you change the whole freaking world."

All around us was a brand new city with massive buildings that were larger than the ones I was used to.

As well as flying cars.

We moved quickly to the new city. Hiding in the alleyway I kept one hand on the rug dress and the other on Donnie's arm, while Ava was tightly gripping Mikey. Alex was keeping to the shadows.

"All right who attacked us and where are we any ideas?" Leo asked.

A large and earth-shaking horn grew louder, seeing a large trucks roll past us. All of them curled around the wall to see. Only to see Triceratons unloading something.

"Now we'll get somewhere stinking Triceratons," Raph said.

"But they not bothering anyone," Alex muttered as she appeared from the shadows "I don't think they are a threat."

"But they are Triceratons of course they are a threat," Ava said.

"Ava really?" Alex questioned. "You think they are evil but I thought there was peace now."

"They attack the earth, they are evil." She said.

"Shut it both of you," I said. "We need to figure what is going on and stop it."

"Let's see what dastardly device they've planted its ninja time!" Mikey yelled before jumping over to the truck.

"Mikey wait," Leo ordered but he jumps in, and within seconds the door shut. Locking him in.

"It's taking off!" Raph yelled.

"After him!" Don yelled

We all of us giving chase, as the truck drove up to the highway. We chased it, pulling Ava along jumping from moving car to moving car.

"Now entering uptown level one, gravity level three Terrain air content sulfurous!" I heard as Ava and I flew under it.

A sharp push of gravity pushed us into the car roofs. Ava groaned under the weight. Glancing up to see Mikey, the door open. The car that Raph was on drove closer.

"Raph just reached a little bit further!" Mikey cried out to Raph, who was fighting to reach him. Raph jumped to grab him, he slipped and fell and rolled onto the road. "Raph!" The door shut on Mikey again, as Raph rolled in front of a car.

The car which Leo was holding onto, moved to get out of the way, which caused a truck to come flying in the way, Leo jump off as the truck trailer unhooked and sided towards the edge of the road, which the cars that rest of us were on, crashed or slammed their brakes, which send us flying. Shielding Ava as we rolled on the road. Alex groaned as she landed from jumping off a car. The trailer fell off and landed on a track which then hit a train. Pushing myself up and running as the train flew up from its tracks on the road. Ava and Alex were right behind me, with the Guys and Master Splinter leading the way. We crashed to the side of the road, looking in shock and awe at the damage that we caused. Ava breathes heavily.

"Oops," Raph said.

"Come on we have to find Mikey," Leo said

Right as sirens roared behind us.

"Shit," Alex said.

Followed by move floating cops cars, each putting a light on us. One of the cars landed in front of us.

"My sons and daughters," Master Splinter coughed. "We must disappear."

"This atmosphere the air is too thin can hardly breathe or move." Don gasped out.

A robotic cop came to a stop in front of us.

"Hello, hello, hello," He said with a British accent. "What's all this then Chief Constable Biggles peacekeepers, let's see some identification what?"

Alex struggled to laugh, both Master Splinter and Don try to talk and move but failed. "Right undocumented aliens."

"No, we not!" Ava cried out before coughing for air.

"Identification then miss." Chief Constable Biggles said.

"Ah," Ava gasped out.

"When will you people learn that it is the three P's paperwork, proper procedure, and punctuality that grease the wheels of this great society of ours well technically that's four P's but you get my point," Chief Constable Biggles said.

We pushed through the force and managed to slip away, "Attention all units we've got runners."

Climbing down to another roadway, which was just as hard to move and breathe.

"It's just great we're here two minutes and we've already lost Mikey and now we're fugitives." Leo coughed.

"We are going to find him, Leo." I coughed out. Air began to blast us, looking to see a floating limo before us. A window rolled down and a robot face appeared.

"Come with me if you want to live," It said. Unsure what to say or to do. "Get in there's no time to dilly-dally."

The door opened, we climbed in, the door shut before us and the limo took off driving away. Trying to make heads or tails of everything before glancing over to the others.

"All right you got our attention," Raph growled "Now talk or."

He crashed to the ground.

"Or Nothing this air was in makes it so we can hardly walk let alone fight," Don said.

"Forgive me for the theatrics but master insisted that retrieving you was of the utmost urgency," The robot said hover over and soon grew legs. "I could not resist."

"What's going on?" Raph coughed. "Where the shell are we?"

As the Guys tried to walk to the robot.

"And what about Mikey?" Don asked fighting to move.

"Not a thank you in the bunch how predictably organic." The robot said.

"Thank you." Ava gasped out.

"Of you." The robot said.

The Limo made a sharp turn, making all of us flying into the left of the car, causing cries of pain.

"Hey, you said to come with you if we want to live." Raph gasped out "Remember bucket head."

"I do," The robot said pulling out some belt things. "I think we'll all breathe easier once you're strapped into these."

He lifted it over to Raph, who raised his hands in defense.

"Let him alone!" Alex gasp out trying to throw but fall over.

We watched as the robot's arms flew, all while Raph cried in protest.

"Can't move." Leo gasped.

"The Master holds you in such reverence," The robot said. "I never expected you to be such ninnies."

He walked over to us as Raph just lay there.

"Raph?" Alex coughed.

"Hey the walk-in toolbox turns the air back on," Raph said, performing a backflip. "Legs too."

The Robot came over and started to get everyone else. "With the many divergent alien life-forms inhabiting the city atmosphere composition and gravity vary from area to area," The robot said. "I pity the fool who tries to tries to get around without an enviro-pack, graviton regulator, or wrist translator."

Feeling like I could breathe without an elephant on my chest.

Seeing at everyone had new nice belts. Alex was popping her back out while Ava stretching her shoulders and back. The guys had blue knee pads that when down their ankles and cool arm guards, chest pads, and belts.

Master Splinter simply had a belt of the same dark blue coloring. The Limo kept driving, glancing out the window to see us heading towards a large and impressive building. Being ushered into the building and elevator. Ava keeps a tight grip on me as we when up. Alex had her guard up, even though we were all still dressed in rags. The doors ding and open to a large and impressive apartment.

"Look we appreciate you helping us with the breathing and all Mister?" Leo asked.

The robot turned to face us.

"The name is Sterling," he said with a bow.

"Your name's gonna be scrap metal unless you start making with some answers," Raph growled. "I got a brother missing."

Both Don and Leo grabbed Raph holding him back from he could attack Sterling.

"If you could please tell what the shell is going on would be great?" Alex asked.

"Oh you're really here really real," A higher and younger voice sounded. "And wow."

The kid walked into view. Wearing light grey pants, a white long sleeve shirt with a short sleeve blue cloak. He had fiery red hair and blue eyes.

Alex and I both shared a look and nod. This kid had to be a descendant of April and Casey no doubt. I mean the fact the kid is not freaking out over the Guys and Master Splinter.

"The Master," Sterling said and bowing.

"Master but he's just a kid," Raph said looking shocked.

Don walked past us and looked in shock.

"Master Splinter look." Don said sounded shocked.

Making the rest of us rush past to see a room filled with both foot clan, our own stuff, and in the front of the room was Casey's mask and his bag of weapons.

"Casey's stuff, our stuff," Raph said before grabbing the kid. "Alright twerp where'd you get all this, where the shell are we?"

Sterling grabbed Raph and lifted him up and away.

"Manners reptile." He said and threw him into a display.

"Oi!" Alex growled marching over to the robot before pointing a finger at him. "You have no right to do that to him! We are dealing with shock and awe right now have some understanding!"

Sterling just stared at her.

Raph yelp in pain before catching the display which was the container of the goo.

"Don't be mad about the hockey stuff the mask," The kid said walking over and taking the container, and placed it back. "It's all mine it belonged to my great grandparents."

Alex pulled away from watching Sterling to shot me a look. Meaning we were right. Raph walked over, she gently rubbed his head.

"You okay?" She asked.

He simply nodded.

"Your great-grandparents?" Master Splinter questioned.

"Casey Jones and April O'Neil," The kid said. "My name is Cody Jones and this is New York City in the year 2105."

A look of shock and awe flashed over all of our faces.

"What how is this possible?" Ava questioned death gripping my arm.

"We're in New York a hundred years in the future and aliens live here and cars fly and…" Leo said before being speechless.

"Crazy huh," Cody said. "I' can't believe you're here either. I mean I've read about you for years but you actually meet you, Wow."

"We are honored by your enthusiasm but if you know how we came to be here," Master Splinter said. "Please you must tell us."

"I'll do better I'll show you but first maybe we should do something about the nakedness," Cody said

Sterling was over next to Splinter within a second with a purple string.

"I thought you'd never ask." He said and started to measure Master Splinter. Glancing to see Raph lifted up his mask, seeing that all of the masks were there. Seeing my own which was now a mix of green-black blending into each other, while seeing a simple black one that was slightly fay meaning it was Alex's. A pale pink meant Ava.

Sterling walked over to us and pulled his purple stings. He made quick work of measuring us, before leading us to another room. Where Master Splinter was allowed in one room and us girls into another room. The room had that three beds as well as three large closets that were filled with clothes. Causing Ava to cheered in delight and jump into the closet.

After dressing in normal clothes that were normal for 2105, dressed in jeans with a black long shelve shirt, pulling on pair of brown boots and dark green jacket, the enviro-pack, graviton regulator, or wrist translator turned olive green. Having the dark blue leg and wrist guards. While Alex was wearing black jeans and boots, a grey shirt, and a black jacket, Ava was wearing light blue jeans and a light pink blouse. Each of their new techs turned various colors, Alex's was of course black and Ava the pale pink

Seeing that Master Splinter was a new brown robe.

"So Casey wrote about us a journal huh?" Raph asked.

"He wrote a ton," Cody said. "April to your lives were so cool I was dying to see you in action but with your whole, we live in the shadow thing I couldn't just load a bit feed, so I invented this."

He types on the keyboard, which then pulls something up, causing us to jump back. To see a large and impressive piece of tech, which shows an image of the lair.

"A time machine?" Don asked.

"How is this possible?" I questioned.

"It was supposed to be a time window," Cody said. "A way to view the past the travel part was a complete accident one that I have no idea how to recreate."

"So we stuck in 2105?" Raph asked.

"Unfortunately yes," Cody said. "Master Splinter and seven of you are, hey where is number four?"

"You mean Mikey?" Ava asked hands on her hips.

"We lost Mikey," Raph said. "The second we got here that's what we've been trying to tell your walking toaster." He hit Sterling.

"Huh well then let's all go look for him," Cody said.

"That is not possible," Sterling said suddenly placing a hand on Cody and pushed him away. "Master Cody is the Owner of O'Neil tech a prominent manufacturer of Terrain technologies as head of the company and heir to the vast Jones O'Neil fortune a simple walk in the park makes him an irresistible target for kidnappers and nairdewlls anything Master Cody could ever need is made available here in the penthouse the outside world is far too dangerous a place for him."

Alex rolled her eyes at Sterling.

"Where have we heard that one before," Leo questioned looking at Master Splinter. Making us giggle.

"So how to find one mutated turtle in a city of 30 million?" Cody asked as both Don and Cody had the same thought stance.

"Alex why not do a location spell?" Ava asked.

"It might not work," She said. "Firstly I don't have the stuff for it plus I don't know how strong it would be Ava. Sorry."

"Well I know I'm just a yokel from the 21st century but if your time window was based on the principle of non-directional tachyon refraction then," Don said.

"Then there might be ambient traces of temporal sub-particles on tow." Both Don and Cody said at once.

"That sounded like Pig-Latin," Ava commented.

"It's Donny talk," I replied.

"Great another that speaks geek," Raph said.

"Raph be nice," Alex muttered walking and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Basically some charged energy particles got stuck to your shells and back when you feel through time," Cody said typing on the keyboards

"And we can track that energy," Don said typing on his keyboard.

Which brought up a map of the city, in which a red moving dot appeared. "There."

"Shall I bring the limo around sir?" Sterling asked.

"No wait I have a better idea," Cody said with a large smile. Following him down to another room where in the center for a turtle-looking vehicle.

"Well, here it is I call it the hover shell."

Giving a sharp whistle at how beautiful it was.

"You designed this?" Don asked.

"Actually you did," Cody said pointing to Don. "I just built it from your original blueprints."

"Master you can't just go outside," Sterling said pushing himself between Cody and Don. "What about procedure precaution?"

Don tap Sterling on one side making him turn and allowing Cody to slip by as the rest of us got on the hover shell. Buckling yourself in with Cody at the wheel. Lifting off the ground, before flying.

"Just so you know I'm still living how to drive this thing." Cody cried as flew like crazy.

"Cody! Cody watch out!" Leo yelled as the hover shell nearly crashed into the police car but was sent flying.

Cody drove like a crazy man, but we got closer to where Mikey was. We pulled to a hovering stop over an alley where Mikey was on the ground summoned by guys in glowing blue hoods and a red design.

"Ava stays here right now," I ordered as the guys, Alex, and I jumped from the hover shell taking out the glowing blue cloak.

"Today's forecast is partly cloudy with a chance of turtles," Raph said.

"And Demigods," Alex added.

"And Rat." Master Splinter said landing before us.

We started to move back as the glowing blue cloaks got closer.

"Ah man am I glad to see you guys," Mikey said.

The cloaked figure pulled out weapons, Raph ran one but slipped right through him into the mud.

"Oh yeah probably should have mentioned they can go ghostical," Mikey said before screaming as Sterling landed next to him. "And you guys should have mentioned the big ugly attack robot! No, wait."
Mikey's screams were cut short.

"Mikey he's on our side!" Alex yelled as she flew through them.

"Thanks, Robby," Mikey said jumping up.

"The name's Sterling." Sterling said annoyed.

"How do you fight something you can't touch?" Raph asked.

"Simple," Master Splinter said kneeling down. Two of them came to attack, once they touch him he grabbed and flipped. Crashing them to the ground with a thud. "Wait for it to touch you."
"It's ninja time!" The Guys yelled.

Right one of the glowing cloak grabbed my shoulder, grabbing its gloved hand, and spun it around before allowing it to crash into the wall, it didn't get back up. Alex had easily sent one crashing to the ground.

"Goodnight!" Hearing Raph yelled followed by a cry of pain and flesh hitting flesh.

Looking around to see that we told them all down.

"Good job," I said.

"Of course." Alex teased.

Hearing a vehicle roar to see the hover shell flying towards us and send a glowing cloak dude to the ground.

The hover shell landed.

"This isn't over," the Glowing cloak dude said. "You fungoides are on my list."

He pulled his hood down and ran through the wall disappearing.

"Even in 2105 we still send him packing," Raph said.

Right as I hear sirens.

"Not exactly." Master Splinter said pointing to the sky seeing cops.

"Come on to the hover shell," Don ordered.

Making us run and hopping on, right as the hover shell took off.

"Mikey thank the gods you're okay," Ava said rushing him.

Which he quickly grabbed her and pulled her into a hug.

"Hey, Angel cakes." He said hugging her tightly.

Cody of course hit the same car.

"Cody you need to work on driving this thing," Alex said. "Second time you hit the same cop car."

"At least until we figure out how to create the time portal accident," Don said.

"You kidding this is a dream come true for me," Cody said. "And well you Guys you're the closest thing to family I have, I just hope you can adjust to life in 2105."

Right as Mikey cheered and jump onto the sofa.

"Hey it's just a TV remote," Mikey said. "I love the future now let's see what else is on."

"No way," Raph said pushing Mikey away. "My day, my remote."

"Hey give me that," Mikey yelled pushing Raph away.

"Hey," Raph yelled.

Which began a fistfight between the two of them, with Mikey crying out."

"Adjusting will not be a problem." Master Splinter said placing a furry claw on his arm.

This was followed by something breaking.

"Oh, not the vase it's a 2006 flea market original," Sterling said.

Alex groaned before walking over to break up the fight, glancing out at the new New York City a mix of shock and awe was bubbling to the surface. Feeling a hand on my waist, looking up to see Don looking at my face taking to figure out.

"What are you thinking?" He asked.

"Everyone and nothing at the same time," I replied.

He offered me a smile.
