 Author has written 54 stories for X-Men. 02/26/2018 - Check out some of my newer stories! All my fiction centers around Hellion (Julian Keller) and X-23 (Laura Kinney). I call this pairing "Helix", a term coined by a reviewer a while back. Wondering what titles these two are currently in? Reviewers have told me (I stopped reading comics): Hellion is in custody of the Inhumans, had some sort of virus. Comic Reading Guide Here are the comics I have read and base my 616 (canon) stories off of, in case anyone is interested in checking them out. They are in reading order. If you can't find the actual comics, is a great resource; go to Comics Issue Summaries to read a text summary of each comic issue. Or, check out Comicvine's pages on X-23 and Hellion. I wrote the histories for their profile pages 6 years ago, I am not sure how much of that remains, but it's still a good resource. 1. X-23 (first series) - Innocence Lost (Laura pre-X-men, her origin story) 2. X-23: Target X (Laura pre-X-men) 3. NYX (this is where Laura meets Kiden Nixon. This was technically Laura's first comic appearance, as it was published before Innocence Lost. But in comic continuity, Innocence Lost is her first appearance.) 4. Uncanny X-men #450-459 (I think that's the last issue she appears in, might be wrong. Not the best reading.) 3. New Mutants (2nd series) #1-13 July 2003-2004 (Julian's first appearance) 4. New X-men (2nd series) #1-46 (July 2004-March 2008): this starts off as New X-men: Academy X from #1-19. I haven't read the yearbook special yet, not sure if I plan to. Laura joins in New X-men #20 (and they dropped the Academy X part from the title). 4. New X-men: Hellions (miniseries) #1-4 (July-October 2005)* (Note: this takes place during Academy X, I think around the middle, after Julian's team wins field day) 5. I get hazy on how it went after this in terms of order/exact titles, I know the arcs. Julian and Laura both appeared in the Messiah Complex arc, then the Utopia arc, and then the Second Coming arc where I believe is the arc he lost his hands. He got metal ones in an X-men Legacy event thing called Age of X. The titles I remember reading were X-men Legacy and X-Force. I may be wrong about some of this. 6. Wolverine and the X-men (Julian doesn't appear lots except as a bully, and Laura isn't there at all. But it's a decent read, and it explains any fics I have where Logan is in charge of the school.) 7. X-23 (2nd series) --takes place both on Utopia & the rebuilt school. Julian is in the beginning and the end, and Laura has a bunch of random adventures in between. After that, Laura goes to the Avengers Academy, then Avengers Arena. I kind of stopped reading there. Reviewers have kindly kept me informed of what is happening. |
