![]() Author has written 8 stories for Mortal Kombat, BioShock, Steven Universe, Elder Scroll series, and RWBY. I feel it's about time I breathe some life back into this page, in a manner of speaking. If you happen to be traversing the site and have found yourself here reading this, well first of all welcome to you! Secondly, I'd like to report that I am not dead. Not in the physical sense at least. I am still very much alive and kicking (with occasional screaming), just with a lot going on in my life. But still, I try to make as much time as I can for fanfiction, which of course includes not only reading fanfics, but writing my own! Which brings me to my major point(s): I am currently in the process of writing my stories. What I can say for certainty is that I am working on two of them, both of which I definitely share equal amounts of passion for. Now if only my passion could equal my willingness and time management for actually writing is another thing, but that's besides the point. Future projects: 'Star Wars Episode X: Balance of the Force' - This one here, this project is not only something I feel like doing, this is a project I feel NEEDS to be done! It's equal parts passion-driven as it will be therapeutic for me. For too long, and I mean TOO long have I had to stomach people all over screaming 'sTaR wArS sEqUeLs SuCk!' and 'rEy'S a TeRrIbLe ChArAcTeR!' . And I am just going to blow the lid of this right now- I DO NOT HATE THE SEQUELS! AT ALL! I've had to put up with this for so long now, it's actually be driving me to the point of severe depression! But for the longest time, I didn't know what exactly I could do to remedy this. Until at one point, I figured out what I must do: I must create a suitable follow-up story 'on top' of Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker, thus helping legitimize the Sequels' place in the storyline via another story that I feel happens after their events. But could I have something to take place after their events? Actually yes. I'd been thinking about it for a long time, and I've got some good ideas as to what I feel happen after Episode 9's events. With my love of the Sequels and my penchant for how I write, I will help people in appreciating the Star Wars Sequels they way I always wish they had been! If I do this, I hope this will help cure me of my depression. Current project(s) being focused on: 'Team GALE' - This is a RWBY story of my own creation. And I mean that in the very broadest of terms. Not only is it a story featuring a plethora of OCs, but the content of the story itself is radically different from what you'd expect. This story will not be taking place anywhere near or in any relation to what the canon story and characters are involved with. Instead, I'll be taking this opportunity to try and craft a story featuring other elements from the show that hadn't quite had the necessary focus upon as much as they should. Mainly, this will be taking place at Mistral's Haven Academy. But no, this isn't just diving straight into what we're shown in Volume 5. This story is just about Haven and its students around the same time the actual show was having Beacon and its students as its focus. It's a canon divergent story, yet also runs parallel to the canon, if that makes any sense. Another important detail is that I will be strictly following within the confining rules of what the world of RWBY has established, namely with how the characters are created. You will hopefully find that I take great care in the specifics of what makes them how they are. In this case, a character in the show of RWBY must 'allude' to something, more often than not a character or even theme from a form of literature, myth, fictional or non-fictional media, etc. If I'm being honest, this is one of the facets about the show that I fell in love with in the first place, and found that I could just as easily do the same. 'A Silent Thu'um' - This is my Skyrim story, also of my own creation. It will be following the adventures of a once-mute Dragonborn, with the Thu'um itself opening up her ability to speak, and her partner Lydia. Unlike Team GALE's structure, this story is actually canon divergent. This is because the direction I'm trying to write this story is hopefully in a way that keeps it more 'grounded', and within the realm of possibility for it actually happening. This means that superficial things like fast-travel are out of the question. It also affords me the opportunity to experiment with a few story elements that I feel should have been experienced in the game. A few of those crazy ideas that rattle around in my head just waiting to be committed to writing. Discontinued project(s): Steven Universe sequel- The story with the as of now no title. This was to be a continuation of the 'saga' I had conceived from my earlier Steven Universe stories. All three of those had existed within their own universe I had created for them. However, due to the rather abysmal feedback that Steven Universe in Space had received (or rather hadn't received at all), I won't be proceeding with this project in the future. Besides, with the show itself having run its course and ended, I feel it's a good time for me to step out of it for a while and focus on other projects. 'Fiery Hatred's sequel' - Whatever this story would've been named would have been a continuation to a glorified OC in Mortal Kombat. And this was in the 'older generation' of MK no less, which is not in reference to the current 2010s timeline. I wrote this story back when I created a purely fire kombatant in 'Kreate a Kombatant', and just rolled with it. Nothing was ever destined to come of this, probably not even back then, so this story and its sequel that will never be will continue to never be anything as well. I'm debating some days just deleting this story... Projects I had completed before: 'Steven Universe in Space' - This story was a continuation from Diamonds in the Night Sky. In it Steven and the Crystal Gems were summoned to the gem homeworld (Crystarra in my version) to assist an old friend with a problem of catastrophic proportions. This entire project was to be one of my greatest achievements, as well as when I practiced a new method for publishing the story. I had written out each individual chapter and then moved on to the next until I had reached the end. It was only after I had completed every single chapter and looked them over did I end up uploading the entire story all at once, thus eliminating the lengthy and unpredictable waiting times for a new chapter to become available. Whether or not this writing method was responsible I do not know, as feedback for this story to this day has still been less than ideal. 'Diamonds in the Night Sky' - This story was when I and even the show were just stretching our creative freedoms. At the time everyone was creating their Gem OCs and I was no different. I created firstly two Gem OCs that eventually became sisters (which in turn became a singular gem), and the other OCs and gem homeworld ended up following soon after. The structuring for this story was standard fanfic release: complete a chapter, upload it, then begin work with the next chapter and hope your uploaded one gets the feedback you were hoping for. And oddly enough, this story did get responses. It's strange because in nearly ever aspect I consider this story to be inferior to Steven Universe in Space. To this day I'm still not sure how this was ever possible. 'Lost Gems' - The beginning story to my Steven Universe saga. This story was purely flexing creative freedom. I had just thought up Gem OCs and wanted to set them out to see what they would do. So many things that looking back now I would have written differently, that goes without saying. Still, I guess it was fine for what it was. 'Father's Final Gift' - This was actually among one of the first stories I remember writing. It was basically just novelizing the events of a specific ending from Bioshock 2. It was even worthy enough to get a 'rewrite' for the 5 year anniversary of my time on this site. Nothing really special to say about this one. 'Fiery Hatred' - Another early days fanfic I wrote. As well as regret... Surely anyone else out there had a blast with MK Armageddon? And all its features that were available to a public that had so little at the time? Man, and to think I would actually consider putting something like 'this' to a fanfiction page... 'The Final Battle' - Among the first fanfics I had ever written. This was basically a novelization of the pyramid battle in Mortal Kombat Armageddon, wtih specific emphasis on Sub-Zero (or Kuai Liang as he would later come to be known as). This story went through MANY rewrites and changes, altering it in very subtle ways and shifting its structures. It may be one of my earliest works, and one of my most cringiest, yet still I have a touch of respect for it. It was one of my first attempts at learning to write action scenes, which I take into heavy consideration nowadays with the types of stories I write. And as a bonus, this story actually made an appearance on a YouTube channel, Fanfic Critic (played by Megan Wessels) to be read aloud. She gave some fair points to what I had written which I also try to keep in mind when writing. But a one-shot, that's all this story was meant to be, despite what that cliff-hanger ending would've had you believe. And, I think that's about it, all I wanted to say really- OH! One more thing! I'd consider it a personal favor if you would also check out the channel of a friend of mine; he goes by the name Usami Worry Haru Cookietine. Like me, he is an aspiring writer as well as an artist, who does what he does because he is driven by his passion. At the moment he is working on a major project, one that he claims personal investments in, and he would greatly appreciate reading his works and giving thoughts on. Again, he would greatly appreciate it, as would I. But anyway, now that's about all I can think of... oh well, have a pleasant day, and keep on reading! |
