Bobby was understandably shocked that Cassandra didn't want the world to burn.

"Why the hell would I want the world to burn? Uncle Gabe might be alright with that but I'm not. That's not how I was raised. So how do we stop the goddamned apocalypse?"

Bobby motioned for her to follow him, but she hesitated. "How do I know you're not going to kill me?" Cassandra asked.

"Ya don't, ya idjit." he responded.

"One moment." Cassandra pulled her phone out of her black messenger bag, "Hey, Jody?" Pause. "Yeah, a friend needs help with something." Pause "I'll be back by curfew. See ya, Jody." Pause. "Bye." She hung up and put the phone back in her bag.

"K, she thinks I'm at a friend's house."

"Do you need to call that friend and ask them to lie for you?"

"No. I know for a fact that he'll lie for me." Cassandra stated, smiling at Bobby's hidden confusion. "So, we going back to your place?" she asked

"Yeah... I got two boys there - other hunters."

"Good for you. Thing is, Devil's Traps don't affect me, I'm fine with salt, and Holy Water tastes just the same."

"You made a deal."

"No I didn't. I can be an idiot at times but even I'm not that stupid. If I looked in my bag for a hair tie, you wouldn't shoot me, right?"

Bobby and Cassandra went back and forth with jabs at each other during the walk to his truck and the car ride to his house. Part way through the ride, Cassie realized that Bobby rarely smiled, so she vowed to make him smile.

Bobby held the door open for Cassandra to enter the house. Cassandra kept eye contact with Bobby as she stepped backwards over the salt line at the doorway. She glanced through another doorway into what seemed to be a library, with dusty shelves with old books lining the wall. Two men, one with blond short hair, and another with longer brown hair discussing the apocalypse.

Cassandra smirked and, exaggerating her British accent, said, "Hello, boys," startling them out of their conversation and causing them to reach for a weapon.

This is completely unrelated, but my friend needs advice on how to ask a girl out and I have absolutely no experience asking anyone out. If you have any advice for her, please comment because I am very unhelpful.

I have no idea how long the next chapter will take, but I appreciate comments and suggestions on all of my stories!
