Creator of Magic: Becasue we know that Mal loves her sleep lol. Cheerleading in highschool is not all flips and tricks lol. I did it when I was younger and coached when I was in high school. the only people who do the flips and tricks are the competative cheerleaders. I can't wait to read what you think of this chapter!
brimason0201: Thank you so mcuh! I am sorry about the wait, but I am hoping to post again, but I am starting school so I won't be posting or writing as much.

Warning for Smut!
ENJOY!
It was 4 am and Ben had just finished getting ready. He took his last bag downstairs and he was the large van outside ready to take his and Mal's family to the airport. We walked outside and saw Haden telling the driver where they were going. Seph was putting bags in the back, while Belle was holding a sleeping Rosie in her arms, but there was no sign of Hadie or Mal.
"Mom!" Hadie yelled as he walked out of their house. "I am not trying to wake up the dragon anymore."
Seph turned to Ben and gave him a 'please go wake up your girlfriend' smile, making him nod his head. He placed his bags down, and ran to Mal's house. He walked up the stairs and up to her room. He opened the door and saw her curled into her blanket. She was facing the window, and he smiled before he slammed the door, making her jump up.
"I warned you that if you weren't up, I was going to come and wake you up myself," he said as he walked toward her bed, making her groan.
.uy"It's so early," she said as she threw her head back.
"Yes, I know, but we have to go. You can sleep on the plane," he said as he started to pull her out of her bed.
She groaned again as she let Ben yank her arms. She stood in front of him. She looked up and pouted when he smirked at her.
"You either get ready and be ready in 10 minutes, or I am going to carry you into the shower to wake you up," he said, making her eyes widen.
"Okay. okay," she said, holding her hands up. "I'm going. I'm going."
She walked into her bathroom to quickly get ready. When she walked out her hair was braided into two french braid pigtails that hung over her shoulder. She was in a pair of leggings, and one of Ben's football hoodies.
"Okay," she said as she zipped up her toiletry bag. "I'm ready, and you are buying me a coffee when we get to the airport," she said as Ben took her bag from her hand.
"You got it, babe," he said as they both walked out of the room to head to the airport.
"Thank you," Mal said as she sat down next to Ben after he bought her a coffee.
"You're welcome," he said as he draped his arm over her shoulder.
"You're like a snickers bar commercial, Mally," Hadie said as he sat down across from Mal and Ben, next to his dad. "Except you're not you when you're tired," he said with a smirk.
Mal lunged for Hadie, but was held back by Ben, while Hadie jumped into his dad's lap like a three year old in fear.
"Dad! The dragon!" He exclaimed, making everyone laugh.
"You poke it. You deal with it," Haden said as he put Hadie back in his seat.
Everyone laughed and talked as they waited for their flight.
"How much longer?" Rosie asked as she threw herself across Ben and Mal's laps.
Adam's phone pinged letting him know that their flight was getting ready to board.
"Now," he said as he stood up.
They all walked to the gate and when they boarded, Ben noticed that he was not sitting next to Mal.
"I'm sorry," Belle said. "I tried to get Rosie to switch seats, but she kept saying no."
Ben shook his head and laughed. He didn't mind not sitting next to her because it was only the flight. They would still have two weeks in Paris to spend with each other. Plus he wasn't that far from her. She was sitting in the middle row and he was in the double seats next to the window. He was sitting next to Hadie, his parents were sitting next to each other, and Seph and Haden were next to each other, but what he didn't expect was a tall guy with dark hair and brown eyes to sit in the same row that Mal was in.
"Hello," Ben heard the guy say, making him look in their direction.
Mal had just finished fastening Rosie's seat belt when she looked up.
"Hi," she said.
"I'm Andre," he said with his french accent. "And you are?"
"I'm Malloy and this is Rosie," she said as she smiled down at the five year old.
"What beautiful names," he said. "It looks like we will be sitting with each other on the flight to Paris. Is this your first time going?"
Mal gave him a nod before speaking. "Yes," she said. "We're going to be there for two weeks."
"Ah! You must let me show you around," he said. "Do you speak any french?"
"Oui," (Yes.) she said.
"Wow, une très belle fille qui voyage à Paris pour la première fois, et elle parle français ? Quelle vue." (Wow, a very beautiful girl, traveling to Paris for the first time, and she speaks french? What a sight.)
Mal gave him a tight smile and nodded her head, not knowing what to say.
"Are you trying to flirt with Mally?" Rosie asked, looking up at Andre.
Ben, who was watching the interaction, looked at his sister in shock but he was also trying to hold in his laughter.
"She is a very pretty girl…" Andre said as he looked down at Rosie.
"She has a boyfriend," Rosie said, interrupting Andre. "My BIG brother," she said. "Over there," she continued as she pointed at Ben who was now biting his lip and trying to hold in his laughter. "They are going to get married and live happily ever after," she said as she crossed her arms.
"Oh," Andre said as he looked over at Ben who was looking forward and trying not to make eye contact with him. "Well, maybe I could show you and Ben around, no?"
"We're going with our family, so I think we will be with them the most," she said before she plugged in Rosies headphones into her tablet.
"Si tu as une nuit libre, je peux te montrer," (Well, maybe if you have a free night, I can show you around,) he said as he smiled at Mal again.
"Dude," Hadie said as he leaned over his armrest. "He speaks french too, knows that you're flirting, and if I were you I would stop before he goes beast on you. He's a scary dude when guys try to flirt with her or look at her."
Andre nodded his head and sucked his lips in. "Noted."
He sat in his seat and looked forward with an awkward look on his face. Mal looked at Ben, who was still trying to hold in his laughter, making Mal chuckle. He shrugged at her, and she shrugged back because they didn't know what to say about their siblings telling Andre all of that.
The flight was not as good as Mal was expecting. After Ben and the rest of her family fell asleep, Andre tried to talk to her again. He said that he would really like to show her around, and she could bring Ben if she wanted, but he would prefer if it were just the two of them. She had told him multiple times that she appreciated the offer, but she would never do that to Ben.
When they landed, Mal went to grab Rosie's hand, but Andre grabbed her hand, making Mal look at him with a shocked expression.
"Until we meet again, Mallory," he said before he kissed her hand and walked away.
"What the hell was that?" Haden said as he walked up behind Mal.
Hadie threw his bag over his shoulder and shook his head. "Some dude who was trying to flirt with Mal the entire flight."
Haden looked at Hadie who walked away and shook his head, making Haden look at Ben. Ben just shook his head and laughed. He trusted Mal and knew she wouldn't hurt him in any way like that.
"French guys," Ben said with a shrug as he grabbed Mal's bag and threw it over his shoulder. "What do you expect?" he said, making Mal and Haden laugh as he laced his fingers with Mal's and they walked off the plane.
"Aren't you french?" Mal asked as she followed Belle and her mom off the plane.
"Shhhhh," he said, making her chuckle.
When everyone was at the baggage claim, Ben noticed Andre not that far away from them, and he was looking at Mal.
"Well, let's all head to the hotel so we can rest for our full day of Paris tomorrow," Belle said as she picked up Rosie in her arms.
They all walked out to catch a cab outside of the airport. They had gotten a taxi van to stop for them, but there was not enough room for all of them to fit inside.
"Mal and I can put our bags in the van and we can catch a cab behind you guys," Ben offered.
"We don't want to leave you," Seph started.
"We're staying at the Hôtel de Crillon, right?" Mal asked.
"My daughter," Haden said. "Always trying to be a smart…" he started but stopped when he saw Rosie staring up at him. "Butt," he finished, making everyone laugh. "Okay, we'll meet you at the hotel."
Ben and Mal nodded before walking a little ways away to find a cab. They waited until they finally found a cab. The whole way there, Mal was pointing and gazing at all of the sights. The Arc de Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, and they cross the bridge over the Seine River.
"I can't wait to see it all," Mal said as the cab pulled up outside their hotel.
"Well we've got 2 week of it to see," Ben said as he traced his fingers through Mal's and helped her out of the taxi.
They paid the taxi man, and thanked him before walking into the big fancy hotel. When they walked in they couldn't believe how nice it was.
"Ben! Mal!" they heard someone call.
They both turned to see Hadie waving them over to a sitting area.
"Hey," Mal said as they walked up.
"You guys got here fast," Seph said as Mal and Ben sat down next to her.
"We left a couple of minutes after you, so we weren't that far behind," Ben said. "What are we waiting for?"
"The Family Deluxe suite we reserved had a leak in one of the bathrooms, so they waited for us to get here so see how we would like our rooms arranged," Adam said.
"We were all sharing a suite?"
"Yes," Belle said. "Seph and I were planning and saw this suite that would fit us all perfectly if not more. It had 4 bedrooms. 2 of them were master, and 2 of them had 2 queen beds in each, and those shared a Jack and Jill bathroom," she said.
"What's going to happen now?"
"They are giving us 2 Deluxe presidential rooms, and a suite for the four of you," Haden said.
"Cool," Ben said as he leaned back in his seat.
He was excited that all four of them were going to be sharing a suite. He wasn't going to be assuming that he and Mal were going to be sharing a bed, because more than likely they were going to have beds of their own or were going to have to share queens, but he was happy knowing that Mal was going to be a couple of feet away when he woke up.
"When will they be ready?" Mal asked.
"The concierge said that they just needed to check the rooms and then he'll bring us the room keys," Belle said as she pulled Rosie into her lap. "Now you my little young lady," she said, making Rosie look up at her. "When. You are not with us," she said, pointing to the four adults. "And you are in the room with Ben, Mal, and Hadie. Ben and Mal are in charge."
"Yes sir, mommy sir," Rosie said, making the group laugh.
"Monsieur Anderson. Monsieur Drakos,"(Mister Anderson. Mister Drakos.) a man with a thick French accent called as he walked up to the two families. "Nous avons vos chambres prêtes," he said as he held up the room keys to their dads. "We can… um… show you to your rooms," he said with a very thick french accent.
"Thank you," Belle said as she stood up and held her hand out for Rosie.
"Mommy? Can I walk with Mally?" Rosie asked.
"You got her on the plane," Ben said as he laced his fingers through Mal's. "I get her in Paris."
Rosie stuck her tongue out at her brother, making him so the same. They went to grab their bags, but the bellhop took them before they were able to grab them.
"The kids will be shown to their room, and I will show the parents to their rooms," the concierge said as gave the group a smile.
"Okay," Seph said. "Call us when you are all settled, and we will come up."
"Okay," Mal and Ben said before they followed the bellhop to one of the giant elevators.
Ben had seen the young guy that was their bellhop, looking at Mal and it irritated him. He hadn't noticed all of the guys looking at her, but now that he was noticing it more he didn't like it. He was also lucky that his fingers were interlocked with hers so that the bellhop wouldn't say anything or try to flirt with her.
They walked to their room, and when the bellhop opened the door, the four of them couldn't help but look at the room in shock. It was a huge living area with a coffee table in the center of the room, two couches on either side of it, a fireplace, a small kitchen off to the side, a walk on balcony with chairs to overlook the view, and two doors on either side of the room.
"Your rooms are on either side of the living area," the bellhop said. "There is a refrigerator for your beverages and anything else you would like to put in there, and a closet for coats. If you have any questions, my name is Jaq," he said as he smiled flirtatiously at Mal and left.
Once the door was closed Ben groaned, making Mal, Hadie, and Rosie look at him.
"I'm going to have to deal with french guys trying to flirt with you for two weeks, aren't I?" he asked as he flopped down on the couch and looked up at Mal.
"Ben, you're french," Mal said as she walked over and ran her fingers through his hair.
"I'm the only one allowed," he said as he pulled her over the couch and wrapped her in his arms.
Mal laughed as Ben nuzzled into her hair, making Hadie and Rosie laugh as well.
"Well, let's get settled into our rooms and then our parents will be here soon," Mal said as she tried to get out of Ben's hold, but he tightened his grip. "Ben, let go. We have to put our stuff away before our parents come to look at our room."
Ben groaned again as he loosened his grip on Mal. She rolled off the couch, and Ben followed. They grabbed their bags and went off to their rooms that they would be staying in for two weeks. They weren't told, but Ben and Mal knew they weren't allowed to share a room together, so Ben and Hadie were sharing a room and Mal and Rosie were sharing the other. Their rooms were spacious. They each had two Queen beds, a bathroom in each, and a window that had a beautiful view.
"Mally, this room is so pretty!" Rosie said as she started to jump on the bed.
"I know, and you have a big bed all to yourself," Mal said as she sat on the bed Rosie was jumping on. "Which bed do you want? The one by the bathroom or the one by the window?"
Rosie stopped jumping to think about it. "Can I have the one by the bathroom in case I have to go potty at night?" She asked.
"Of course you can," Mal said with a smile.
"Speaking of the potty," Rosie said as she looked at Mal. "I have to go!" She said as she jumped off the bed and ran to the bathroom.
Mal heard a knock as Rosie closed the door. She walked out just as Ben and Hadie did. They walked to the door and when they opened it, their parents were standing on the other side.
"Come in," Mal said as she moved out of the way to let them in.
"Wow," Adam said as he walked into the living area. "This is bigger than our living area," he said as he sat down on one of the couches.
"Mommy!" Rosie said as she ran out of the room. "I have a big bed in that room with Mally!"
"Really?" Belle asked, acting surprised.
"Yeah! And Benny and Hadie's room is over there!" she said pointing to the other room.
"How exciting," Seph said as she took a seat next to Haden on the other couch. "We came to see the room and to see if you wanted to go out for dinner or if you wanted to just order room service for yourself and get some sleep for tomorrow?"
"I wanna stay in the room! It's fun!" Rosie exclaimed as she started to jump up and down.
"That's fine with me," Mal said. "I can probably get her ready for bed and to sleep easier too, if we stay in."
"Okay," Belle said as she stood up. "We're going to go to the lounge bar for a bit. If you need us."
"Okay," Ben said. "I think we'll be fine though."
"And Ben," Haden said as he turned to look back at Ben. "You have my permission to wrestle with Hadie if he irritates you," he said with a smile.
"Thank you," Ben said as he looked at Hadie who was rolling his eyes.
"Goodnight, all of you," Seph said. "We'll see you in the morning."
"Goodnight," all four of them said as their parents closed the door behind them.
"So, room service?" Ben asked as he flopped down on the couch and propped his feet on the coffee table.
"Okay," Mal said. "I think I saw a menu on the fridge when we walked in," she said as she walked over to the fridge and saw a pamphlet menu on the fridge.
She walked over and sat next to Ben while Hadie was tickling Rosie on the other couch. Once they ordered their food, Mal said that she was going to shower, and get Rosie cleaned up, before the food got there. When they were done and in their pajamas, they walked out to the living area to see Ben and Hadie cleaned up and showing Jaq to the door. Mal saw the food now sitting on the counter, making her pick up Rosie so she could eat. When they were all done, Rosie was half asleep on the couch, Ben and Mal were laying on one of the couches together, and Hadie was laying on the floor.
"I should put her to bed," Mal said as she got out of Ben's hold. "I'll see you both in the morning," she said as she gave him a quick kiss and picked up Rosie into her arms.
She walked over to Hadie and lightly kicked him in his ribs, making him wake up.
"Go to bed," she said as she nudged her head in the direction of his and Ben's room. "It's late."
Hadie nodded his head before getting up with a grunt. He walked to the room with Ben in tow. Ben turned to look at Mal, and she turned before giving him another smile. They were both happy to be on this vacation together, but Ben did wonder what would have happened if he and Mal weren't together or if they were still strangers to each other.
The next morning Mal was woken up by Ben shaking her. She didn't know what time it was, but when she looked outside it was still dark.
"What?" She asked. "What time is it?"
"It's early, but I thought you might want to watch the sunrise with me," he said as he nudged his head.
"Really?" She asked as she slowly sat up.
"Yes, and I have coffee ready for you," he said.
"Well, now I can't say no," she said as she took his hand and they walked out of the room, closing the door quietly so they didn't wake up Rosie.
Ben walked Mal out to the balcony that was attached to their room, and when she saw what was outside she was shocked. There was a small breakfast waiting for them outside on the small table. She turned to Ben and saw he was standing there with a smile on his face.
"Is this the date you planned?" She asked.
"No," he said, shaking his head. "I have something planned, but it's not until after the new year."
"I see," she said. "So, what is this?"
"This," he said as he led her to the small table. "Is me wanting to have breakfast with my girlfriend in Paris," he said.
They both sat outside with each other, as they watched the sunrise. Mal was so mesmerized by the view, she didn't notice Ben took a picture of her on his phone, and it was going to be one of many that were going to be taken on this trip.
"Where to first?" Adam asked as the lot of them walked out of their hotel room.
"I want to see the Eiffel Tower, but at night," Seph said.
"Why don't we start off with the Louvre museum?" Haden suggested.
"Great idea, babe," Seph said as she laced her fingers with her husbands.
"Can we go to the catacombs?" Hadie asked. "We don't have to go today, but I want to go one of the days we are here."
"Is that the place with the skeletons?" Rosie asked.
"Yeah!" Hadie said in excitement.
"No," she said, shaking her head. "I'm not going! That's scary!"
"Come on, Rosebud!" Hadie said as he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. "It's going to be fun!"
"Have you seen that old Spy Kids movie?" Rosie asked. "Those skeletons came back to life."
"That's because the little boy took something that wasn't his," Ben said. "So, unless you plan on taking something that belongs to one of the skeletons, you're going to be fine."
"Well if they come to life, you're first," she said, making Ben and Mal laugh.
"You don't have to worry about it right now," Belle said. "We're not going today, because Seph and I have to finish up some Christmas shopping."
"Ugh!" Adam, Haden, Ben, Hadie, and Rosie sighed, making Mal, Belle, and Seph laugh.
After the museum and having lunch at a small cafe nearby, Ben and Mal took the kids so that their parents could finish shopping. By the time they were done, it was almost dinner. Ben and Mal had taken Rosie and Hadie sightseeing and were now sitting outside a small cafe with a couple of shopping bags, and waiting for their parents.
"That park was pretty," Rosie said as she kicked her feet back and forth. "I wish you and Hadie were there," she said as she looked up at Ben.
"Well, did you want a Christmas gift from me or not?" He asked as he picked her up and sat her on his lap.
"Presents!" She exclaimed excitedly.
"Yes," Adam said as he walked up to the table with the others behind him. "And we have a surprise for you, but you can't see it for two days."
"What?" Rosie groaned. "Why not?"
"Because…" Adam started.
"Because if we tell you now it won't be a surprise later," Belle said. "Now let's all go have dinner," she said as she looped her arm through Adam's.
Haden did the same with Seph, while Jackson threw Rosie over his shoulder. Ben held his hand out for Mal, and she picked up one of the bags that he had set down. He was thankful he had put her gift in his pocket instead of leaving it in the bag for her to see. He was hoping that she liked it, and he couldn't wait to give it to her.
Two days later it was Christmas Eve. The same night Ben had bought Mal's gift was the same night their hotel rooms had Christmas trees placed in the living areas. It was a surprise for them, and when they called and asked the Concierge, he had told them that they did that for the guest who will be staying for Christmas. Everyone was gathered in the kids suite having breakfast, well everyone except for Rosie who was asleep on the couch. There was a knock on the door, making Belle, Adam, Seph, and Haden smile, while the others looked at the door in confusion.
"Who is that?" Mal asked as she got up from the floor and walked to the door.
When she opened the door she saw a shorter and older man standing there in a Santa Claus suite.
"Why hello, Mallory," he said, making Mal look at him with a shocked expression. "Merry Christmas."
"Um… Merry Christmas… Santa," she said with a little hesitation.
The man looked familiar to Mal, but she couldn't put her finger in it.
"It is so good to see you," he said. "I have heard from one of my elves that you are a wonderful young woman."
Mal's eyes widened when she realized it was that the man was Maurice. Belle's father. She hadn't seen him in almost 10 years.
A smile grew on her face, and she moved to the side to let him in. "Please, come in, Santa. We would love to have you join us."
Maurice gave Mal a smile as he walked past her and into the room. Mal closed the door behind her and followed him with a small smile on her face.
"Merry Christmas, everyone," Maurice said as he held his arms out to everyone. "Ho Ho Ho."
The adults and Mal had smiles on their faces, while Ben and Hadie looked confused, and Rosie was still asleep on the couch.
"What's going on?" Hadie asked.
"Well, I am here because I was called by your parents," Maurice said.
Ben turned his head to the side, hearing Maurice talk. He sounded like his grandpa, but he wasn't sure.
"It's very good to be here with all of you," he said as he looked at Ben and gave him a wink.
Ben smiled brightly at the man before getting up and rushing to him.
"Hi, papa," Ben said as he wrapped the shorter man in a hug.
"Hello, Benji," Maurice said as Ben let him go and he pulled down his beard.
"What are you doing here? We were going to go see you a couple of days before we left."
"Do you really think your parents would be in France on Christmas, and not let me come see all of you?" He asked.
"Ben doesn't pay much attention," Mal said as she sat down on the couch Rosie was sleeping in and smirked at Ben.
"Shush," Ben said, making everyone laugh.
"Yes," Maurice said. "I am aware of Ben's 'not knowing you until the beginning of this school year' situation," he said as he looked at Ben.
"Yes yes," Ben said as he sat down on top of Mal, making her groan from his weight. "But it's all better now because Mal and I have been dating for 4 months, so can we please drop it?" He asked.
"On one condition," Mal said as he poked Ben's side. "You get off me, because you are double my size," she said, making him laugh.
He slid off her and sat down, before laying rosies legs on his lap. "Are you calling me fat?"
"No," she said, shaking her head. "But you're about 200 pounds of muscle and I weigh 120."
"Okay, you better wake up Rosie, dad," Belle said. "These two can go on for hours," she said as she leaned on the armrest of the chair Adam was sitting in.
"Agreed," everyone else said, making Ben and Mal shake their heads and laugh.
Ben and Mal slowly got up to let Maurice sit and lightly shake Rosie awake. She rubbed her eyes before looking up at Maurice, who put his fake beard back into place.
"Santa?" Rosie asked as she sat up.
"Why, hello miss Rosie," Maurice said. "Have you been a good girl this year?," he asked, making Rosie nod her head and smile.
"YES! Very good!" she said as she climbed onto his lap, making him laugh.
"Are you sure?," he asked.
"Yes," she said as she nodded her head. "Hadie is the naughty one," she said as she pointed to Hadie.
"What?" the fifteen year old asked as his mouth dropped.
"Shush," Rosie said as she shushed Hadie. "Santa and me are talking."
"But…"
"Shuuuuuuush," Rosie said as she put a finger over her mouth and looked at Hadie. She turned back to 'Santa' and crossed her arms. "You are the REAL Santa, right?"
"Tug on my beard and see for yourself," he said as he put his chin out for her.
She grabbed the end of the fake beard and pulled it down to reveal his true identity.
"PAPA!" Rosie exclaimed before she wrapped her arms around her grandfather's neck.
"Hello, my little flower," he said as he wrapped his arm around his granddaughter.
Heheld her tiny body close to him, remembering when Belle was that little. He was happy to see his family, and their non-biological family extension. Rosie looked exactly like Belle, Adam and Belle looked well and healthy, Hadie was getting so big and strong, Seph, and Haden looked amazing, but he was happy to see Ben and Mal together. He didn't know that they would end up together, but was very happy to see his grandson happy, and with a very smart and beautiful young woman.
The next morning, Ben was woken up by Rosie jumping up and down on the bed. He groaned and opened his eyes to see Rosie jumping.
"What are you doing?" Ben asked as he turned to face away from the window.
"It's Christmas," Rosie said as she jumped and landed on Ben's hip.
Ben groaned loudly, and looked to see his girlfriend sound asleep in the other bed.
The night before, after Maurice and the others had dinner and had fun, they had offered for him to stay with the kids so that he didn't have to travel home and back or get a room by himself, and the kids were more than happy to have him. When it came to giving up a bed for him to sleep in, Hadie offered Ben's bed because he didn't want to sleep in the same room as the dragon and the hyper 5 year old. Ben was fine with sleeping in the same room with Mal and Rosie, because it meant that he would get a night or two, depending on how long his grandpa was going to stay, away from Hadie's loud snoring. Mal and Rosie shared a bed together, and Ben slept in Mal's bed.
When they all went to bed the night before, and Ben rested his head against the pillow, he could smell Mal's scent on the pillow. It was a soft scent of light lavender and honey, and it was intoxicating to Ben. he looked at Mal and saw how peaceful she looked. She was laying on her side and facing Ben. Her hair was perfectly laid against her shoulders, her arm was under her pillow supporting her head, and her other arm was in front of her face with her hand laying in front of her face.
"Benny! Get up," Rosie said as she started to bounce up and down, making Ben break his gaze from Mal.
"Okay," Ben said as he sat up and moved Rosie to the other side of the bed. "Go wake up Mal," he said as he stretched his arms and nudged his head in the direction of his girlfriend.
"Nope," Rosie said as she shook her head. "You do it."
"Why me?" Ben asked.
"She is your girlfriend."
"She is your Mally," Ben said as he poked his sister.
"I'm not waking the dragon," she said as she jumped off the bed and headed toward the door. "I'm going to wake up papa and Hadie," she said as she left and closed the door behind her.
Ben shook his head and laughed before looking back at Mal. he didn't want to wake her, because she looked so peaceful and beautiful. He could actually stay there for hours, watching her sleep. He got out of bed, and walked over to the other and sat down, making the bed dip a little. He looked at Mal as she slept before stroking her cheek with his thumb. They had been together for 4 months now, and he still couldn't believe that someone this beautiful was with him. He brushed a piece of hair behind her ear, making her stir a little, and making him smile. He leaned in, close to her ear and tried to wake her up.
"Hey," he whispered. "Merry Christmas," he said as he kissed her temple.
"Too early," she said as she turned her head into her pillow.
"Come on," Ben said as he slightly shook Mal and looked at the clock on the wall. "Our parents are going to be here soon, and we should be up before they get here."
"They know I'm not a morning person," she said into her pillow.
"Yes, I think everyone is aware of that," he said as he rested his hand on her hip and put his face next to her ear. "But if you don't get up, I'll start tickling you," he threatened.
"You wouldn't dare," she said as she turned her head to glare at him.
"Try me."
Mal groaned and rolled over to the other side of the bed before getting up. She slowly walked around the bed, and over to Ben who stood up as she walked to him. She looked up at her 6 foot boyfriend and pouted.
"I really hope you like what I got you," Ben said.
"You didn't have to get me anything," she said as she rested her head against his chest, making him laugh and wrap his arms around her waist.
"And you didn't have to get me anything either, but I saw something out there from you to me," he said as he pressed his lips to her head.
"Ben! Mal!" they heard Seph yell, making them pull apart and walk out of the room.
They walked out and saw their families sitting down, and Rosie was in front of the gifts, bouncing up and down.
"Merry Christmas, daddio," Mal said as she walked over and wrapped her arms around her dad's neck from behind him.
"Merry Christmas, Mally," Haden said as he put his arms behind him and wrapped them around Mal's head.
"Don't," Mal warned.
"Don't what?" he asked as he moved his hands down her back and placed his palm in the back of her shoulder blades.
Ben looked at Haden with confusion, and then looked more confused when he saw his dad, his mom, and Hadie move out of the way, leaving only Seph, Haden, and Mal by the couch. Before Ben knew it, he saw Mal's legs flail up in the air as Haden flipped her over the couch, and onto Seph and his laps. Mal and her parents laughed as her butt landed in Seph's lap and her head landed in Haden's arm.
"I don't know why you do that every year," she said as she stopped laughing.
"I don't know why you say no when you love it," Haden said as he kissed her head.
Ben loved watching how Mal interacts with her family. Well, he loved watching how she interacts with anyone. If he never knew what had happened to Mal when they were younger, he would have never thought anything so horrible happened to her. She is so strong, and he was happy that she was his.
After having breakfast, and Rosie whining to open gifts for an hour, everyone was gathered around the Christmas tree. Maurice was sitting in a chair by the tree, Hadie was sitting down with Rosie in his lap, the parents were sitting on the couches, and Ben and Mal were sitting on the floor next to the coffee table.
"Can we open?" Rosie asked.
"Do you want to pass out all of the gifts first?" Belle asked.
"Yeah!" she exclaimed as she started to pass out the presents.
Ben watched as Rsoie gave Mal the present that was from him, and he hoped that she liked it. When she was done passing out the gifts, she sat down next to Mal and looked up at her parents. Everyone was opening their gifts, and they didn't get large gifts because they were going to be traveling, and they couldn't imagine the struggles of traveling home with a bunch of large gifts and souvenirs. Ben had opened the gift Mal had gotten him and saw that she had bought him a pair of new headphones, and they were expensive. She was about to open the small box that had the gift Ben had gotten her, making him get nervous. When she tore the paper away she saw a burgundy velvet box. She looked at it confused, before looking up at Ben only for him to shrug. Haden didn't know what was in the box, but he sat up a little so that he could see what exactly was in the velvet box. Mal opened the box to see a beautiful vintage locket. It had a beautiful design with an aqua background, and it was on a chain that would make the locket sit right in the middle of her sternum.. She had never seen a more beautiful piece of jewelry in her life. She felt her fingers go over something on the back of it, and when she turned it over she saw that it was engraved. The engraving was her initials, MBD. she turned to Ben and smiled, making him sigh in relief.
"Thank you," she said as she gave him a hug. "It's beautiful."
"You're welcome," he said as he wrapped his arms around her. "I'm glad you like it. I was afraid it was lame."
"No," she said as she pulled away from him. "It's amazing. I love it."
"You can open it too," he told her as he pointed to the small clasp at the top of the locket next to the chain.
She opened it, and saw that it was empty.
"I left it empty so that you can put pictures in there," he told her.
She smiled at him before passing him the locket so that he could put it on her.
"Damn," Hadie said as Mal turned back to the group. "I thought that dad was going to tackle Ben."
Everyone looked over at Haden.
"What?" He asked as he held his arms out. "It was a small velvet box. That is my worst fear," he added, making everyone laugh.
Everyone enjoyed their day together, but Mal and Ben enjoyed their first Christmas as a couple.
Later, after their Christmas dinner together, they all decided to walk around the city to enjoy the last bit of Christmas they had in Paris. They wandered around until they found themselves in front of the Eiffel Tower. It looked so beautiful. Snow was covering the ground, and the lights made it look even more beautiful. Hadie grabbed Rosie's hand and started to spin around with her, making her laugh. Ben did the same with Mal, making her laugh and slide across the frozen concrete. Belle and Seph watched their kids, not missing the opportunity to take pictures of them.
Ben twirled Mal around, lifting her off the floor. They both had never been this happy, and were enjoying the magical moments that they were having with each other.
"Are you ready?" Haden asked Belle and Seph as he peeked his head into Mal and Rosie's room.
"Yes," Belle said as she hugged Rosie one more time. "Happy New Year, baby," she said.
"Can I stay up with Benny, Mally, and Hadie?" she asked.
Belle knew Rosie was not going to be able to last that long, but she nodded her head letting her know that it was okay. They would have wanted the kids to join them out on the town, but they knew the streets were going to be busy, and they didn't want them walking around in the crowds without one of them with them, even if Ben was there.
"Thank you, mommy!" Rosie said as she jumped up and down on the bed.
Mal laughed as she sat next to her mom on the other bed. It had taken Mal a while to be where she is right now, and she loved the bond that she had with Seph. When she was little, maybe around Rosie's age, was when she realized that she wanted Seph to be her mom, but she didn't know if Seph wanted her. Hadie was 2 years old, and he was actually hers. He wasn't someone else's kid. She may have been there her entire life, but she never knew just how much Seph really loved her until she came back from her mother's the next morning.
Seph wrapped her arms around Mal's shoulder, and kissed the kids on her head. "I love you, Mally," she said.
"I love you too, mom," Mal said as she smiled up at her.
"We better go," Belle said as she stood up from the bed.
Seph nodded and followed Belle out of the room, with Mal and Rosie trailing behind her. Haden and Adam were talking with Ben and Hadie, and it looked like they were getting lectured.
"Do we make ourselves clear?" Haden asked as he pointed to Hadie.
"Yes," Hadie said as he threw his head back. "Do not leave the hotel. Do not leave this floor. Do not answer the door. And if someone does knock, get Mr. Macho over here to get the door," he said as he pointed his thumb to Ben.
Ben shook his head and laughed. He knew his parents wanted them safe and not wandering the streets of Paris at night by themselves.
"Good oy," Haden said as he patted Hadie's head.
"Woof."
Their parents left, and then Ben and Mal looked up at restaurants that would be able to deliver to their hotel. After looking and talking with Hadie and Rosie about what they would like to eat, they finally ordered food. Mal was cleaning up the food when she felt Ben wrap his arms around her waist.
"I can't clean if I am being held hostage by you," she said as she put down the styrofoam containers back on the counter.
"Can I help you?" he asked.
Mal looked to her side and saw Rsoie asleep on one of the couches, and Hadie asleep on the other. She looked at the clock and saw it was 11:30, which means it's 9:30 am at home. She knew her friends wanted her and Ben to call in their group facetime, and they needed to at least put Rosie to bed before then.
"You can help by putting Rosie to bed," she said as she nudged her head over to Rosie.
Ben turned his head and smiled when he saw his sister. "Okay," he said as he let go of Mal and went to pick up Rosie.
He walked her into the room, and tucked her into bed. If he was honest with himself, he was surprised she lasted as long as she did before falling asleep. She snuggled into the pillow, making Ben smile before walking back out to the living area to help Mal finish cleaning.
After they were done cleaning, Ben helped hadie into their room and helped him flop onto the bed. When he walked out he heard Mal laughing from outside on the balcony. He walked out to see her with her laptop on her lap, and he saw multiple squares with their friends' images on them.
"Ben!" Jay exclaimed as he walked into the frame. "How ya been buddy?"
Ben sat down next to Mal, making her put the laptop on the table so that they were both in the frame.
"I mean, it's Paris," Ben said. "It's amazing."
"So, how was winter formal?" Mal asked as Ben wrapped an arm over her shoulder.
"Oh my gods, M," Evie said as she pulled out her phone. "It was great, but we wish you were there," she said as she turned her phone to show pictures of them to Ben and Mal.
The couple smiled while their friends showed them pictures of them. Each was matching to their partner, with Doug and Evie wearing royal blue, Uma and Harry wearing teal, Gil and Ruby were wearing gold, Jay and Lonnie were wearing pink, and Carlos and Jane were wearing baby blue.
"You guys look great," Mal said. "I'm glad you guys had a great time."
"What about you guys?" Lonnie asked. "Not either of you have sent us pictures."
Ben pulled his phone out of his pocket, pulled out his phone, and pulled up the picture Seph and his mom had sent them from Christmas. He flipped his phone around when he found the picture of him carrying Mal in a bridal hold, and they were both smiling.
"Oh my gods, guys," Evie cooed. "Those are amazing."
"Yeah," Ben said as he flipped his phone around and scrolled through more pictures. "But this one is my favorite," he said before he turned the phone back around to show his friends a picture of him and Mal, but this time their foreheads were leaning on each other and they were smiling.
"I'm glad you guys are having fun," Uma said. "What time is it over there?"
Ben looked at his phone and saw it was almost midnight. He set a countdown on the screen and saw there were only 15 seconds until their new year.
"Well, our new year is in… 10… 9… 8… 7…," he continued, making Mal look at him with a smile on her face. "6… 5… 4… 3… 2…," he said and then fireworks started to burst through the night sky.
Ben leaned down and pressed his lips to Mal's, making all of their friends woo. They kept kissing for a couple of seconds, making Jay clear his throat, but they didn't break a part.
"Okay, guys," Jay said. "Let the girl breathe, Ben."
Ben flipped Jay off before reaching and closing the laptop screen, making Mal chuckle into their kiss.
"That wasn't very nice," she said as he cupped the side of her face.
"Who ever said I was nice?" He asked, making her laugh as he pulled her in for another kiss.
A couple of days before they were going to be leaving, everyone was walking out of the hotel. They were standing on the curb when Belle and Seph turned to Mal and Ben.
"Have fun on your date," Belle said as all of them exited the hotel.
"Yeah," Rosie pouted. "Have fun."
"Why are you in a grumpy mood?" Mal asked as he crossed her arms over her chest.
The five year old looked up at her brother and put his finger up to his lips. She turned back to Mal and furrowed her eyebrows.
"I can't say."
Mal looked up at Ben, who tilted his head to the side, letting her know that she was upset that they were going somewhere without her. After a couple of minutes waiting for their Ubers to get them, and when Ben and Mal got into theirs, Ben had asked the driver to not say where they were going because it was a surprise. The driver nodded and smiled, and said that he would not say a word, making Mal groan because she hated surprises.
"How far away is this date going to be?" she asked after they had been driving for almost an hour.
"I think we are almost there," Ben said as he took her hand into his and then rubbed his thumb over her knuckles.
"Yes," the driver said. "We are going to be there in 5 minutes."
"Great," Ben said as he pulled something out of his pocket. "Turn around," he said as he showed her a blue handkerchief.
She squinted at him, before he tilted his head.
"Please," he said.
She turned around, letting him tie the handkerchief around her eyes.
"I don't like this," she said as he laced his fingers with hers.
"It's only for a couple of minutes, because if you see what this big sign says, then the surprise will be ruined.
"Fine," she said as the car pulled up to a spot.
"Well, we're here," the driver said. "Have a great time."
"Thank you," Ben said as he helped Mal out of the car.
Mal heard the car door close and the driver driving away, before Ben started to walk with his hand on the small of her back. He guided her through a crowd for about 10 minutes before he stopped.
"Okay," he said. "You can open."
Mal untied the blindfold off, and gasped when she saw that they were standing in front of Euro Disney.
"What the hell?" Mal asked as she turned to see Ben smiling at her. "What?"
"Are you surprised?" he asked as he took her hand into his.
"Ben…" she said in shock. "This is… what?" she asked again.
"Come on," he said as he tugged her hand and they walked up to the line to get in. "Are you excited?" he asked.
Mal was still in shock. She didn't know what to say.
"Ben… this… this is… Ben!" she said, making him laugh.
"I know," he said. "It's a little over the top…"
"A little?" she asked.
"But, I thought it would be fun," he said as they walked closer to the park.
"How much did this cost?"
"Don't worry about it, just…"
"That is not a good way to start," she said. "You never respond by telling a girl not to worry about it, because then she is going to worry about it."
"Fine," he said. "Our parents are coming tomorrow because they are going to surprise Rosie before we go home, so I bought us an extra day so that we can spend one day away from everyone else."
"That does not answer my question," she said as they got to the front of the line," she said.
"I know," he said as he pulled the two tickets out of his wallet, and smiled at her before he gave the tickets to the ticket taker.
Ben and Mal walked through the mainstreet, and he pulled Mal into a store. When they were inside, she was confused on why they were in a store full of crystals, figurines, and tiaras. He was looking at the tiaras thoroughly, and she thought that he was getting one for Rosie, but he picked out one that she didn't think he would pick out. Ben had bought a crown instead of a tiara. It had white and eggplant purple gems on it. When they walked out Ben took the crown out of the bag and box it was in, and placed it on Mal's head.
"I'm not a princess," she said as she shook her head and laughed at him.
"I know," he said. "You're my queen."
"And you're a dork," she said, making him laugh. "But you're my dork," she said as she wrapped her arms around his waist and gave him a kiss.
The rest of the day, Mal and Ben ran around the park going from ride to ride, eating all the treats they wanted to try, and going from store to store to buy souvenirs for their friends. Mal's favorite part of the day was going under Sleeping Beauty's castle, because there is a dragon underneath. Mal's favorites are the villains, and her favorite one is Maleficent.
By the end of the day, the couple was so tired that they didn't know if they were going to be able to stay awake on their way back from the park. They called their parents over Facetime, and they saw how tired they were. Haden and Adam didn't want them to fall asleep in an Uber, so they had told them that they would call a hotel and they would bring them clothes the next morning. When they had gotten to the hotel, they had told the concierge that someone had called to reserve them a room and then he had given them their room key, and then they walked to their room. Once in the room Mal said she was going to shower, and she was thankful that she had bought a big shirt and she was going to take the shorts that Ben had bought to sleep in. When she walked out into the room, she saw Ben almost asleep on the king sized bed.
"Hey," she said as she lightly shook his shoulder. "Do you want to shower?"
He nodded his head and stood up before noticing that she was wearing his shorts.
"I'm going to need those," he said pointing to the shorts.
"Why?" she groaned.
"Well, unless you want me to sleep naked," he said as he stretched his arms.
"Fine," she said as she unlaced the drawstrings and took them off.
She let her shirt fall, letting it hit the top of her thighs.
"See," he said. "You're short enough that your shirt can act as a dress."
Mal shook her head and laughed before Ben kissed the top of her head. Ben closed the door to the bathroom, while Mal jumped onto the large bed. She started to scroll through her phone and didn't know how long it had been, but she jumped when Ben jumped onto the bed.
"Crap," she said as she held her chest.
"Sorry," he said with a chuckle.
"It's fine," she told him as she placed her phone on the nightstand.
"Did you have a good time?" he asked.
"Yes," she told him and she rested her chin on his chest. "I didn't think that we were going to disney, but it was a really nice date," she said, making him laugh.
"I aim to please," he said as he started to brush his fingers through her hair.
"I'm sad to be going home in a couple of days," she said.
"I know how you feel," he said as she scooted up and laid her head on his shoulder. "We have to go back to our world of school, work, and high school drama."
"Don't remind me," she said as she buried her head into his neck. "I don't know how much more of your ex-girlfriend I can take."
"Well, she isn't my girlfriend," he said as he rolled over, making Mal roll onto her back so that he was above her. "And she is not going to bother you, okay?"
Mal rolled her eyes, knowing that she was going to have to deal with Audrey making jabs at her when they went back to school. Ben started to kiss Mal's face with little pecks, making her squirm and laugh. The little bit of stubble that was on Ben's face was tickling her face and giving her chills. He kept pecking her face until their lips connected. They were kissing for a couple of minutes before Ben added a little bit of weight, pushing Mal further into the mattress. She knotted her fingers into his hair, making him grip her hips.
"Umm…" he said as he pulled away a little light headed from their intense makeout session. "I um…"
Mal looked at him with a confused look, not knowing what was going on.
"I don't… I want… I'm sorry…" he started and then he turned red. "I just don't want you to think…"
Mal knew what he was trying to say, and she thought it was sweet. She knew he would never pressure her into doing something she wasn't ready for, but now it looked like she was going to have to be the one to make the big steps. She grabbed the side of his face and crushed her lips to his, making Ben fall back into another heated kiss. Ben grabbed the side of her hips again, but this time his grip was more firm than before. He wanted to take this step with Ma;, but he wasn't going to push his luck and was going to let Mal take the lead. She rolled them over so that she was straddling him, and he sat up so that they were face to face. He moved his hands up so that they were on her waist. She wanted him to take another step, but he knew he wasn't going to push her. She lifted her shirt over her head, leaving her in her underwear and matching bra.
"Oh… um… wow…" he said as he looked at her up and down.
"What?" she asked.
"I… um… I…" he stuttered.
Mal smirked, knowing he didn't know what to say.
"I can put it back on," she said as she reached for the shirt, but was stopped when Ben flipped her onto her back.
Ben pressed his lips to hers and let things progress at the speed that was good for her. About 15 minutes passed and before either of them realized it, they were both undressed, and under the blanket. Ben was above Mal, and pulled away to look at her.
"I don't want you to do this because you feel pressured," he told her. "I can wait for as long as you need."
"Ben," she said as she grabbed the sides of his face. "I am fine, but if you want to hold off we can."
"Trust me," he said. "I want to."
"Okay," Mal said as she nodded her head and brought him in for a kiss.
"I love you," Ben said as he was getting ready to position himself. "And you can tell me to stop at any time."
"I love you too, and I'm going to be fine," she said as she kissed his nose.
Ben slowly thrusted forward, entering Mal slowly. Mal moaned as Ben continued to push into her, and he stopped half way to make sure she was okay.
"I'm okay," she said. "I promise."
Ben nodded his head before he pushed the rest of his length into her. They kept a slow pace for a bit, before they increased their speed. They didn't know if they were moving too fast, but they didn't really care at that moment. They were just enjoying being together, and taking a big step in their relationship. Soon enough Ben and Mal had fallen asleep, not regretting the choice they made. Mal was laying on Ben's chest with his hand wrapped around her waist, and both were hoping that the next day would be just as magical as the day they spent together.
"I don't want to go home," Hadie said as they waited to board the plane.
"I don't think any of us do," Haden said as he looked at his son. "Plus, Dizzy will be excited to see you when we get back."
"Well, not all of us can go on a two week vacation with their boyfriend or girlfriend," he said as he looked at Ben and Mal.
"This was planned before we started dating, so ha!' Ben said as he wrapped an arm around Mal's shoulder.
"They got you there," Seph said, making Haden laugh.
"And now we have to go back to the reality of school," Mal said as she threw her head back.
"Yep," Belle said. "And then the struggle of college applications."
"Don't remind us," Ben and Mal said at the same time.
The entire way home Mal started looking at school, not knowing what these decisions were going to do to her life.
