...That Mantis was originally gonna be a bad guy? Crazy stuff, amiright? But yes, our favorite little bug was going to be in cahoots with Tai Lung and have a Heel Face Turn towards the end of the movie. And, after that idea was scrapped, Mantis was supposed to have his head eaten in a bar scene in KFP 2. Thank God that idea was scrapped. As life would have it, it seems that Dreamworks is not very found of Mantis/Seth Rogen.

...That the first draft over Crane had a ponytail? And it was awesome! Also, his hat was never supposed to reveal his eyes. But Dreamworks turned him into the adorkable avian we know and love, and I'm entirely okay with that!

...That Legends of Awesomeness (LoA) actually has some good plots? No, seriously! I'm intrigued by their idea of a previous Furious Five. In fact, I'm incorporating the idea into my next story. The characters the show provided, an elephant, roost, snow leopard, owl, and red panda, are going to be replaced by different species, simply because I don't like the idea of having an over-advantaged elephant and an under-advantaged rooster. The balance seems so...unfitting. That could just be me though.

...That Iroh could've had a Face Heel Turn and sided with Ozai? Imagine what would've happened to our poor Zuzu! I found this little piece of info on Tumblr, so it may be unreliable. Please don't hold it against me.

...That Minion from Megamind is voice by David Cross, who also voices Crane?

To answer I question I know will be asked; Crane is not in this story. See, my reasoning for the Furious Five says that they didn't show up at the Palace at the same time. The first was Tigress, obviously, followed by Monkey about a year later. 5-7 months after him came Viper and Mantis, then about 5-6 years later Crane comes into the picture. (In my adaptation, she is 7 when Shifu adopts her, making her 8 when Monkey arrives and close to being 9 when Viper&Mantis arrive; in which case she'd be about 14/15 when Crane is recruited.) I have to account for his training at the Lee Da Academy, and this story (technically) ties in with Winged Bravery, in case you wanted to know what Crane was up to.
