According to Frank Zhang, living in an isolated community that no one knew about it, has its advantages.

And being a demigod also has some perks to it.

Obviously, being isolated meant that, in the beginning, they weren't aware of the new situation. Quests had became more and more far away and demigods and legacies decided to stay and have a more stable live in New Rome. Their little world had begun shaking when two different messengers came around with the same news.

The first one had been Frank's long term friend, Percy Jackson, calling to warn about the situation and letting him know if they had a shortage of either ambrosia or nectar, or any food in general. Frank and Hazel had both paid attention at. New Rome and told the same to the leaders of the Cohorts.

The second messenger had been a demigod son of Mercury that found his way to Camp Jupiter with a bag full of ambrosia and a 'letter of recommendation' from his father. Sure, the guy spent the month on probatio, but his re-tale of the mortal health situation matched Percy's and, only for that, was let inside.

In the middle of all this, Frank and Hazel had to learnt how to raise a baby.

Lee Zhang had practically consumed all their free time but both first-time parents couldn't be more happy or willing to spend it with their son. Now, Lee was about to turn one, and he was learning to walk and was babbling some words, which made both Frank and Hazel be mindful of theirs.

But they wouldn't change it for the world.

"I never was a swearer but I miss it!" Frank complained to Hazel one day when Lee was napping, while they relaxed in the living room of their place. Hazel simply chuckled and pinched his former chubby cheek in retaliation. "Haze, there's no fat there anymore!"

"I don't care, I miss your chubby cheeks!"

"I'd say you do that to Lee, but he's napping now and we're exhausted enough..." Frank pointed out, earning a nod from his wife.

"Don't you feel weird?" Hazel suddenly asked, looking at him.

"Feel weird about what?" Frank frowned, not understanding where Hazel was asking.

"Being here, not able to go out..." She explained, though she was frowning as well. "It's like, now that we cannot go out, I have this urge to get out, do anything, just to be out..."

"If you want to go for a ride, the only thing stopping you is that Arion is not here-"

"That's not what I meant, Frank..." Hazel sighed, interrupting her confused husband. "I meant out. Out New Rome, out Camp Jupiter... Out with the mortals..."

"Oh." That was all Frank could say, once he understood what she meant. "Not gonna lie, yeah I thought about it, but that's part of the human existence, Hazel... We want things we can't have... remember when I was so obsessed into being an child of Apollo? To be recognized because I was good with the bow and arrow?"

"I can still remember your disappointed face when Mars came to you and told you he was your father." Hazel smirked, remembering the moment.

"Yeah, well... I wanted something so bad, that turned out wrong. Trust me, there wasn't anything more weird than that." Frank chuckled before wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "We'll be alright, all of us... and we can go out, see our friends and introduce them to Lee..."

"And they're going to spoil them rotten cause they've been doing that with every baby since your sister had hers."

"And despite her age, you don't do the same with Ana?" Frank accused her playfully, earning a new pinch from Hazel. "OK! OK! I surrender!" He pulled away just in time to hear noises from Lee's room. "I'll go check him, don't worry..." He got up from his seat and walked to his son's room, finding him awake and energized. "Already recharged, buddy?" He questioned him, walking closer.

"Dada!" Lee slurred, one of his little fist inside his mouth while the other one is pointing at the mobile on top if his head. "'Ion!"

"That's right, that's Arion." Frank immediately understood what Lee said, since the mobile was full of animals, one of them being Arion. It had been a present from Percy and the horse was added later on. It was by far Lee's favorite. "Are you hungry, buddy?" He looked at him while Lee followed him with his head. "What am I even asking?" Frank mumbled before picking the baby up and walking out the room.

"Mama!" Lee shouted once Hazel was on his sight, who smiled at her son.

"Did my baby have a good nap?" Lee giggled at the happy tone but obviously didn't answer her question. "I bet you're hungry, hm?"

"We need to stop talking to him as if he will answer us..." Frank said, earning a raised eyebrow from Hazel.

"Eventually, he will."

"Not my point but let's go with that..." Frank agreed, not wanting to argue. Hazel, very maturely, poked her tongue out at him, earning another giggle from Lee. "Hazel! What are you teaching out child?" He scolded her teasingly. "Are you sure you want a visit from the monster?" He raised his fingers and wiggled them at her.

"That's just plain cruel, Frank Zhang..." Hazel laughed but tried to get away from Frank, getting Lee more far from him. Too soon, Lee understood the game and started to squeal and giggle at his parents, specially when Frank 'caught' them and began tickling him and making him laugh.

Yes, they wouldn't change it for the world.

Good morning/afternoon/evening.

I have no excuses for not updating before. Life has not been easy lately- but goes on. I apologize for the delay to those who were waiting for this chapter.

But because today is an important day, Percy's birthday, I decided to finish this book and don't leave it hanging too long. Maybe, at some point in the future, when I feel inspired, I could add more chapters, but not today. For now too, I'm not taking requests or anything, as I need to focus on university and work and my personal life.

I love you guys all and I hope to come back soon!
