![]() Author has written 6 stories for Wings of Fire, Tui T. Sutherland, Spyro the Dragon, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Elder Scroll series. There's not much to say about myself, so I'll just keep it quick. I live in the southeastern United States and am a junior in college. I love to read. I love video games. When I love something enough, I might start to write something about it. That is why I am here. To create something that others may love and to have fun doing it. Many of the stories that I write will contain the darker thoughts present in the mind. This contains depression, anxiety, PTSD, and even mentions of suicide at some points. If any of these make you uncomfortable, there will be warnings before and during the chapters to warn you of particularly dark parts. This usually balances out with the fact that I make many of my characters more emotional than they usually would be (aka: lots of fluff) to counteract the dark and dreary bits. As I am also a fan of ancient Greek literature, my writing style is inspired by writers such as Euripides of Athens. (If you don't know who that is, look him up.) I also like to add movie, game, or tv show references to my stories--mostly through quotes. Some are subtle...some are easier to spot. See if you can find any. :p Okay I've decided to update this with a few things since I'm a little bit more known than I was when I started. A lot of this is just a bunch of random things that I thought I would share. Favorite Movies: Twister, Treasure Planet, The Patriot, Jurassic Park, and How to Train Your Dragon (the first one). Favorite TV shows: Merlin, Stargate SG-1, The Blacklist, Firefly, and The Last Kingdom Favorite Game Series: Mass Effect, Halo, Assassin's Creed, Forza, and Spyro (Originals, Legend Series, and Reignited.) Favorite Book Series: Wings of Fire (obviously), The Inheritance Cycle, The Legend of Drizzt, and the Halo books. Top Five Wings of Fire books: From number one: Darkstalker, Moon Rising, Winter Turning, The Dragonet Prophecy, and then The Hidden Kingdom Top Five Wings of Fire Characters: From number one: Winter, Darkstalker, Moon, Deathbringer, then Ruby (she's very underappreciated). Wings of Fire tribes in order from my favorite to least: Nightwings, Mudwings, Icewings, Skywings, Sandwings, Seawings, Rainwings. (I haven't started arc 3 yet.) And for those who are curious or are currently writing AUs based on my story, here are a list of the Pyrrhian Spirits: Aurora (Female)- The Icewing Spirit is fiercely protective of those she cares about. As the chief Spirit, her number one concern is the safety of Pyrrhia, but she would not sacrifice any of her friends or morals to achieve peace and safety. Out of all of them, she is the Spirit most likely to journey to the mortal world either to observe or to guide those she deems worthy. Shadeslayer (Male)- Like a select few mortal Nightwings, the Nightwing Spirit can both read minds and see into the future. He is a mysterious dragon prone to keeping secrets even from the other Spirits. Unlike their mortal charges, he and the Icewing Spirit are close friends and they both wish for the old grievances to be set aside. Sediment (Male)- Like many of his tribe, the Mudwing Spirit is stocky and well-muscled. He is a great warrior, but he recognizes that his strength can come with a cost. He now travels a more peaceful path by training lesser spirits who wish to be trained. He is considered to be the wisest of the Spirits and the others will often come to him for guidance. Oceania (Female)- The Seawing Spirit embodies the true nature of the sea. She can be calm and peaceful one minute before becoming a raging maelstrom the next. She is often considered unpredictable by her enemies. However, those closest to her consider her to be one of the greatest friends you could possibly wish for. Though a fierce fighter, she puts her friends above everything else. Stratos (Male)- The Skywing Spirit is often considered to be both aloof and arrogant. This often puts him at odds with the other Spirits, but as of yet he has not gone so far as to start a real fight. As the youngest of the Spirits, he often believes that the others do not care for his counsel as they are all more experienced than him. Aurora has tried to reach out to him, but his pride will not let him accept her help. Arena (Male)- The Sandwing Spirit above all else is a fighter. Decorated with a myriad of countless scars, Arena takes pride in his martial skills. He has fought in war after war in the spirit realm and has become the chief tactician of the Spirit counsel. When not engaged in wars, Arena likes to keep his skills sharp in duels and sparring matches with both his rivals and friends alike. Amazonia (Female)- The Rainwing Spirit is often considered to be eccentric. Unlike the others, she is chipper, bubbly, and always optimistic about something. Her personality often causes Stratos annoyance, and the two are always at each others' throats. To most others, though, she can be seen as both innocent and even a bit naive. She has never taken part in a battle before, and many of the others wish to keep it that way. Both Oceania and Sediment consider her to be like a younger sister. | |||||||
