(Gotham City: Gotham Port)
"RRRAAAGGGHHH!" Doomsday roared, throwing a massive punch at Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman and sent her flying back by several dozen feet. The demi-goddess let's out a grunt of pain, before recovering and quickly dodges out of the way as the monstrous creature charges at her, but it misses and smashes into a pile of rubble instead.
Furious, Doomsday tears out of the rubble and glares hatefully at Diana, before grabbing a nearby wrecked car and tosses it at the Amazon, like a frisbee. She unsheathes her sword and cuts it in two, then she dodges another punch thrown at her by Doomsday. Diana moves fast and slices off the brute's hand, causing it to howl in pain, before blasting the demi-goddess away with it's heat vision.
Elsewhere, Clark Kent, aka Kal-El of Krypton, aka Superman, had just rescued his love, Lois Lane, from drowning and retrieved their only chance at beating this monster; Batman's Kryptonite Spear.
He watched from afar as the Dark Knight distracted Doomsday by using himself as bait, then used his grappling hook and leaped out of the way just in time as the monster pounced at him, while that unknown woman clashed her armored branchlets together and create a shockwave that drives Doomsday back a dozen feet. She then launched herself at the creature to attack it, before Doomsday swatted her away like a fly.
Now that monstrous brute was preparing itself for another powerful and devastating shockwave, after losing one of it's hands by Diana. The Man of Steel knew he had to stop it, before innocent people died.
"This is my world..." Clark stated, firmly. "You are my world." He added, glancing at Lois with a small smile, before sharing one last kiss with her. Clark grabs the spear, feeling the effects of the Kryptonite, but musters enough strength to take flight and head straight for Doomsday.
He manages to impale the monster in the chest with the spear, causing it to roar in pain. Doomsday angrily growled at the Man of Steel, who in turn, glared back at it. The monster grabbed Clark with its left hand and formed a sharp, bony spike where its right hand used to be and was about to stab him, when Diana whipped out her lasso and wrapped it around the creature's spiked stump, keeping it from killing Clark.
Just as Doomsday was about to retaliate, Batman shoots it with a Kryptonite grenade, further weakening the monster, but Clark knew it wouldn't last long as Doomsday was far too strong. "If I don't push this spear in and kill this thing now, it will kill everyone on Earth, including Lois and Mom." The Man of Steel thought, becoming determined. "I will not let that happen!"
Clark willed his way through the Kryptonite's effects and shoved the spear right into Doomsday's heart. The monster roared agonizingly, as it let out an enormous burst of yellow electric energy. Diana used her shield to cover herself, while Batman took cover behind some rubble with Lois beside him.
Once everything died down, Doomsday lay dead in the center...and Clark was gone.
(Unknown Universe: Unknown Forest)
Pain.
That's all Clark felt at the moment, it had been a while - since his fight with General Zod - that he actually felt pain. Groaning, Clark finally opened his eyes and blinked a few times, before realizing he was in the middle of a forest somewhere and it was sunny.
"Daytime?" He thought, confused, It was almost midnight the last time Clark had checked. He slowly stood back up to his feet, his body aching from the battle with Doomsday. "Wait...Doomsday? Batman? Mom? Lois!" The Man of Steel's eyes widened, before taking off into the air, leaving a sonic-boom and a small crater in his wake.
(Unknown Universe: New Jersey)
Flying through the sky at high speed, Clark was far beyond worried. He needed to get back to Gotham Port, he needed to know if everyone was safe...If everyone was safe. "No, don't think like that." Clark muttered, shaking his head of those thoughts. "They'll be fine, I'm sure of it." He said, sealing his resolve.
The Man of Steel pushed himself to fly faster, causing sonic-booms that could be heard for miles, as he made it to Gotham Port...or what he thought was Gotham Port.
Pausing in midair, Clark looked around with a confused look. Gotham Port wasn't here, not as in destroyed, but still not here. Instead, in its place was a boardwalk for tourists. He glanced around and noticed New York was on the other side, which made him even more confused. Where's Metropolis?
"I don't remember this boardwalk being here." Clark said, both worried and confused, before taking off once again. He flew from east coast to west coast, then north and south in a matter of minutes, even using his super hearing, but the Man of Steel couldn't find a trace of his mother, Lois or Metropolis; it was as if they didn't exist.
After a while, Clark floated down onto the roof of a building and slumped to the ground with a defeated look. "What's going on?" He wondered.
Suddenly, someone cried out for help and Clark immediately stood up upon hearing it, glancing in the direction, before taking off.
(Unknown Universe: Manhattan, New York)
A company of firefighters were busy trying to stop a massive apartment fire. They've kept it under control so far, but if another truck doesn't show up soon, then the flames will spread out to the neighboring buildings and it will be catastrophic for everyone.
"Chief, what's the ETA on that other truck?" A firefighter named Hicks urgently asked, while manning a hose with his fellow firefighters.
"They're stuck in a traffic jam, It's going to be another 35 minutes before they get here." His veteran battalion chief named Barlow replied, looking at the fire with concern.
"Well, that's just great!" Another firefighter named Wallace says in a sarcastic tone. "Where's Homelander at? He'd take care of this fire in a minute." He asked, desperately.
"I'm sure he'll come, fellas." Hicks says, trying to reassure his friends. "So, let's hold this flame off until he arrives, okay?"
The firefighters keep up the water pressure on the fire with a little more determination, but suddenly one of them hears something. "Help me!"
"Guys, do you hear that?" A firefighter asked, curiously.
They paused for a moment, then listened carefully and each of them heard a faint voice call out. "Help me, somebody!"
"Oh, my God, there's a kid inside!" Wallace exclaimed, attempting to run into the apartment building, but Chief Barlow held him back. "Wallace, stop!"
"We can't, Chief! There's a little girl inside that needs our help!" The firefighter exclaimed.
"The fire is too intense, Wallace! If you go in there, you'll end up trapped, too!" His Chief responded, keeping his friend from entering the burning building; although, deep down, he wanted to save her as much as Wallace, but knew it was too late.
Before Wallace could reply, a sudden boom filled the air as something or rather someone smashed into the building.
(Apartment: Room 75)
Currently, a six year old girl and her pet cat, Mr. Whiskers, were trapped inside of her bedroom closet as the fire raged around them. Her mother was by her side, but she had passed out a few minutes, due to the smoke. "Help me!" The young girl cried out, shaking her mother in a desperate attempt to wake her. "Help me, somebody!"
Seeing that her mama was still unconscious, the little girl closed her eyes and prayed. Her Nana told her once that if she really needed help, she could pray to God and he'll send an angel to help her. "Please God, send an angel to help me and my mama. Please God, please." The young girl softly said, tears running down her face.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash and her closet door opened. The young girl glanced up and saw a tall man, wearing a red and blue costume with an 'S' in the middle of it as well as a red cape. "It's alright, I'm here to help you." He said, kneeling down to her level.
"Please help, my mama, she won't wake up!" The little girl pleaded.
The stranger looked over at her mama for a brief second and back to her. "Your mom's gonna be fine, sweetheart. I'm going to get you two out of here." He said, standing up and held out his hand.
The little girl looked at the man's hand, then up to his face, his blue eyes were full of kindness and safety. She didn't need to be told twice and instantly took his hand.
The stranger picked her up and held her with one, while carrying her mama in the other. "Hang on, okay." He softly whispered to her.
The little girl nodded as the stranger floated off of the floor for a moment, before he blasted through the roof of their apartment, while shielding her mama, her cat and herself from the fire as well as any debris.
The firefighters and civilians watched in awe as the stranger landed down onto the street, carefully and gently. "Take them, I'll stop the fire." He told a pair of paramedics, who snapped out of their shock, and took the small family to the ambulance to check them for injuries.
The stranger turned to the face the burning building, before flying up into the air mid-level with the building and took a deep breath, then unleashed a huge gust of wind and, within a few seconds, all the flames had been extinguished.
The civilians and firefighters down below began cheering as well as clapping for the unknown hero.
"Do you think he's part of the Seven?" One man asked.
"I wonder what his hero name is?" Another man asked.
"He's such a hottie!" A woman said with a dreamy look on her face.
Clark glanced down at the civilians below with a surprise look. He figured that people wouldn't be so cheerful seeing him again, especially after Lex Luthor bombed the Capital Building and framed him for it.
Clark shook his head and was about to take off, when the little girl that he had saved ran out. "Mister! What's your name, mister?" She asked, adorably.
The Man of Steel looked at her and smiled "Superman." He said, before taking off with a sonic-boom, leaving the little girl and civilians awestruck.
(New York City: Vought Tower)
Madelyn Stillwell, Senior Vice President of Vought International's Hero Management, was going through paperwork for a movie based on the Seven that's set to come out in the next couple of months.
"This movie is going to make profits skyrocket." She thought with a smirk as her co-worker, Ashley Barrett, Director of Talent Relations, came rushing in. "What do you want, Ashley? I'm busy." She sighed without batting an eye towards her.
"Ma'am, have you seen the news?" She asked.
"No, why?" Madelyn asked, glancing up at her associate. Ashley hurried over to her boss' TV, turned it on, and switched to the nearest news, where a tagline at the bottom said - "New Superhero in Town".
A news anchor reported a super's act of heroism of putting out an awful apartment fire while saving a small family that was stuck inside. Another news reporter spoke to a couple of eyewitnesses, including a little girl who was trapped inside, that either called the stranger a hero or an angel. Madelyn narrowed her eyes as she watched a clip of an unknown Super blowing out the flames, before flying away at high speeds that not even Homelander could achieve.
The news anchor finishes her report with a question - 'Who is this mysterious Superman?'
Madelyn turns off her TV and glances at Ashley. "Call in the Seven, it's time for a meeting..."
Author's Note: What's up, everybody! Hulkfan96 and his awesome co-writer, Jason Chandler, here. We decided to mix things up a little and write a different crossover, this time featuring one of our other favorite heroes. (:
This also takes place during "The Boys" Season 1.
