"Go Lincoln!" Lynn shouts as everyone is outside the castle for Lincoln's coronation.
"Royalty runs in the family." Lola says proudly as she adjusts her tiara.
"You deserve it Lincoln!" Alexis shouts.
"Oh thank you!" Lincoln says happily as Morag and Angus come outside holding a scepter and crown.
"For four centuries our Loch has been without a duke ever since the first Louds broke our hearts and decided to sail away forever. From today on our Loch will be duke-less no more. Lincoln Albert Loud by the powers vested in me and your ancestors. By the powers vested in me I dub thee... the Duke of Loch Loud." Morag says as she reluctantly crowns Lincoln.
"Yes!" Lincoln shouts happily.
*Timeskip*
"Isn't this amazing Alexis? I'm the new duke." Lincoln says happily as he is in his room with Alexis later at night.
"Yes it is. Hey Lincoln. Can I ask you something?" Alexis asks curiously as she looks at Lincoln.
"Sure." Lincoln says happily.
"You said all your sisters were special but you. You didn't want to become the duke just because you thought it would make you special did you?" Alexis asks.
"What? No!" Lincoln says as he gives a nervous look at Alexis looks at him unconvinced.
"Lincoln loud don't you lie to me. The duke or not." Alexis says.
"Okay.. so what if I did?" Lincoln asks nervously.
"Lincoln I am happy about what you've done for this town but being the duke isn't gonna make you special." Alexis says.
"It's not? What else is there to do?" Lincoln asks curiously.
"No. I mean you're special as the way you are." Alexis says.
"No Alexis I'm not. I'm too ordinary. Do you have any idea what it's like to be overshadowed by my sisters all the time? This way I can finally show I'm special just like my family." Lincoln says sadly.
"But Lincoln you are special. No kid I know would have gone through this much effort to do all this for the town. Even if it was for personal gain. Besides I'd rather be ordinary than special any day." Alexis says as she looks down.
"What do you mean?" Lincoln asks curiously.
"Let's just say there's things you don't know about me that I would rather you not know." Alexis says.
"Like what?" Lincoln asks.
"Well... for one I'm adopted. I lost my parents and entire family when I was young for reasons I'd rather not talk about. Those reasons make me special and for that I hate myself for it. Angus thinks it makes me unique but if it had caused my parents to put their lives on the line to protect me I don't see how it's special." Alexis says sadly.
"I'm sorry. But that's what a family does. They look out for each other. I'm sure your parents loved you. Please don't hate yourself. I honestly think you're really cool. You're pretty special I think the way you are or at least what I know and that's awesome." Lincoln says reassuringly.
"Really?" Alexis asks as she looks at Lincoln.
"Yeah." Lincoln says as he smiles shyly.
"I feel the same way about you Lincoln." Alexis says as she smiles and blushes.
"You do?" Lincoln asks happily as Alexis nods.
"Yeah... I should go. I need to check on everyone. Make sure everyone is settled in for the night." Alexis says as she starts to leave.
"Hey Alexis?" Lincoln asks as Alexis stops.
"Yeah?" Alexis asks as she looks at Lincoln.
"I uh... goodnight." Lincoln says shyly as Alexis smiles at him.
"Goodnight Lincoln." Alexis says kindly before leaving.
