THE FLAME AND THE PHANTOM in:

PRISONERS OF LOVE

Saturday evening, Fenton Works…

(May 8th, 2004)

Inside Danny's room, he and his girlfriend Ember were kissing each other passionately while lying on the ground. The both of them had been doing their homework together for over an hour and when they finished… they couldn't resist each other anymore.

After a half hour of sharing passionate and soft kisses, both broke their french kiss to catch their breaths, with Ember on top while Danny lied down. Both smiled at each other, looking with nothing but love.

"What a way to end our homework." Danny said jokily.

Ember giggled "It sure does, babypop."

Just as they were about to resume their kissing, there was a knock on the door. It was Danny's mother, Maddie, telling behind the door "Emily, your mother is here to pick you up."

Danny and Ember sighed with some disappointment of being disturbed of their romantic moment. But figuring that they would spend time again tonight when on patrol, they formed a small smile to each other before Ember called to Danny's mom "Okay. Just give me a few minutes, Mrs. Fenton."

Danny softly stroke Ember cheek, making her form a sweet smile.

As they raised themselves up and Ember puts her books back in her backpack, Danny said while helping her "You know, Kitty is taking this whole 'being your mom thing' very serious."

Ember gave a nod in agree as she closes her backpack and puts it over her shoulder "Well, that was part of the deal, right? She and Johnny can stay in the human world without causing any problems and in exchange, they can act as my parents to avoid any suspicion at school. And your folks get along well with Johnny and Kitty."

Danny nodded in agreement, as he and Ember had discussed it with Johnny 13 and Kitty as they helped them to settle down in their new apartment. It was a perfect idea and no one would suspect a thing.

He remembered how Johnny and Kitty tried their best to act as Ember's parents during the parent-teacher conference, and had their first meeting with his parents too.

*Flashback*

Casper High

(May 7th, 2004. Yesterday evening)

In Lancer's office, Kwan's parents were the latest to talk with Lancer about Kwan's progress at school. With his grades doing very well, Kwan's parents were proud at their son as they walked out of the office along with him (with them not knowing that because Kwan being part of the A-Listers, some of the nerds were forced to do his homework.)

Lancer puts the file of Kwan away and takes out the next file, which was of Emily McLain.

Seeing at his watch that she and her parents were a minute late, Lancer sighed, thinking that miss McLain must have forgotten to inform her parents about the parent-teacher conference. He was about to write her name on a list of people that needed to make a new appointment "And another student's parents to that list. Just great, more conferences for me then." he finished sarcastically while rolling his eyes.

Just then, the door to his office opened, seeing that it was Ember (in her human disguise) "Sorry that we're late, Mr. Lancer."

Behind her, Kitty and Johnny 13 (both also in their human disguises) came into the office along with Ember.

Johnny was wearing a white shirt with long sleeves, a black tie, grey pants, black/white shoes and a dark grey jacket. His hair was also combed to the back. Though Johnny prefers his own outfit, he had no choice but to wear these casual clothes to look more 'mature'.

Kitty was wearing a light blue t-shirt, white pants, black heels and a beige jacket. She also carried a small dark blue purse over her shoulders. Her disguised light brown hair was now in a ponytail. Unlike her boyfriend Johnny, Kitty felt just fine wearing these new clothes.

Seeing that he didn't have to make a new appointment, Lancer smiled and puts the paper away as he stood up from his chair and shake both Johnny's and Kitty's hand "Welcome, Mr. and Mrs. McLain. Thank you for coming her together with your daughter to discuss her grades."

Johnny gave a nod as he said "No problem, du-" but he interrupted himself as he needed to sound more 'mature' and introduced themselves "Uhhh (clearing his throat)… It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Lancer. The name's John… John McLain. This is my wife… Katherine."

Kitty gave a nod "Katherine McLain. Nice to meet you."

As Johnny, Kitty and Ember sat at the seats before Lancer's desk, Lancer sat down at his chair and opened Ember's file, telling "Well, Mr. and Mrs. McLain, all that I can say is that your daughter is doing excellent at school. I had some doubts that she was able to pick up her classes since we couldn't get any contact with her last school in California about her grades." that send some worries to all three of them as Ember had no more records of her grades from 1984. But Lancer told with a smile "But by the looks of her grades and how well she's performing in mine and my coworker's classes, scoring mostly B's and a few A's, I say that she has what it takes to go to the next level."

Hearing this, Ember formed an ensuring smile. Kitty whispered to her "Way to go, girlfriend."

But then Lancer then said with a more disappointment look "The only thing that worries me are her grades for Chemistry class. On an average, she scores a D-."

Ember felt embarrassed, as she admitted to herself that Chemistry never was not her best class.

Johnny and Kitty acted in surprise, with Johnny asking with a disappointed look at Ember "Really now?"

Lancer gave a nod "I'm afraid it's true, Mr. McLain." He then showed the few grades she had so far, which made it on an average a D-.

Kitty thought about something quick to serve as an excuse of why Ember's grades for Chemistry class were so low "Mr. Lancer, the truth is… we knew about Emily bad grades for Chemistry class before when we still lived in Los Angeles and the teachers and a friend of her were offering their help so that Emily would improve in Chemistry and receive better grades. But then we started to move to Amity Park and… we hadn't kept that in mind till now as we had our heads full with the moving and settling down here in Amity Park."

Johnny nodded "Yeah… that's right, Mr. Lancer."

Lancer thought about that for a moment, but then asked "And… by having your heads full of moving into Amity Park was also the reason there were… problems at home?"

Kitty and Johnny both first looked surprised, but remembering that Danny told them of Ember's outburst a few weeks back when she revealed her troubled past to Danny, Tucker and Sam, Johnny said while scratching his head "My… wife and I did had some issues and several arguments when we moved in here and… that it troubled Emily so much."

Kitty nodded as she added "Yes. Not everything went smooth when we arrived here. I mean, I lost lots of my luggage, the furniture's arriving late! Gosh, we all had to sleep on our matrasses on the floor for more than a month!" she finished, pretending how 'frustrated' all three of them were in the 'so-called' moving.

Lancer seemed to understand their situation "Hmmm, that might explain some things. I hope at least everything is in order at home?" he wandered.

Johnny nodded "It sure is. Everything is back on track."

Lancer formed a smile "Well, that's good to hear." But then he became a bit serious again "But now about Emily's grades for Chemistry class?"

That was when Kitty asked him "Well, is it possible for our daughter that she can, I don't know, get some extra help for Chemistry class here at Casper High?"

Ember didn't liked the idea and whispered in an annoying way "What the hell are you doing?"

"Just play along, girlfriend." Kitty whispered back to Ember.

Lancer thought about that for a moment and then suggested "Perhaps there is something that the school can do to help Miss McLain."

An half-hour later, Ember, Johnny and Kitty walked out of Lancer's office, with Ember asking Kitty while being more annoyed "Extra lessons after school?! Are you kidding me!?"

A few teachers that were in the hallway too looked surprised when Ember was yelling out loud, not wanting to have extra Chemistry lessons.

Kitty, noticing the teachers, stayed in character and said in a very serious motherly way "Don't give me that tone, young lady! Chemistry is important to learn and I will not have my little girl coming home and having a bad grade on her rapport card. Now let's go home." she said as she walked away with Johnny and Ember through the hallway, but then whispers to Ember "You'll thank me later, Em."

Sarcastically, Ember said while rolling her eyes "Oh yes, you definitely deserve the award of 'Mother of the year'."

Just then, four more people walked into the opposite direction of the hallway, heading to Johnny, Kitty and Ember. They saw that it was Danny and Jazz, together with their parents. Ember began to smile as she saw her boyfriend.

They stopped before each other "Hey there." Danny said as he walked up close to his girlfriend.

Ember formed a seducing smile as she placed her arms around his neck "Hi, babypop."

But seeing that his parents were here with him, and now Johnny 13 and Kitty in their human disguises, Ember decided to introduce each other "Oh. Mom, Dad, these are my boyfriend's parentss."

Maddie and Jack glanced to Johnny and Kitty. Johnny felt a bit nervous of standing in front of ghost hunters. However, Kitty was more confident and offered shake hands with Maddie "You must be the ghost hunters that my daughter told about. Hi, I'm Kathrine, Kathrine McLain, but my friends call me Kitty. And this is my husband, Johnny McLain"

Maddie formed a smile while shaking Kitty's hand "Pleasure to meet you, Kitty. I'm Maddie and this is my husband, Jack."

Jack shook hands with Kitty too, while Maddie shook hands with Johnny "I say you and your husband are also interested in ghost hunting?" Jack hoped.

That made Kitty to laugh "Hahahaha! No, that's more my daughter's thing. Don't know where she got that sudden interest in ghost hunting all of the sudden, but I don't mind, as long as she doesn't do something that she'll hurt herself with all the 'ghost hunting stuff'."

Maddie chuckled, ensuring Kitty "You don't have to worry yourself, Kitty. You should actually be proud at your daughter for being so interested in our scientific work into ghosts."

"Speaking of which!" Jack said as he took out the Fenton Ghost Gabber and showed it to Kitty "Look at this Ghost Gabber who can-"

Jazz interrupted her father, not wanting them to bother Emily's parents with their crazy inventions "Dad, no! Don't bother Emily's parents with you and Mom's obsession with ghosts now! We're here for the parent-teacher conference, not a ghost hunter gathering."

Maddie patted Jazz' shoulder as she walked up to Kitty and Johnny "My apologies. Jazz can be a bit overdramatic sometimes."

"I'm not overdramatic!" she said as she stood before Johnny and Kitty, trying to 'protect them' from her parents ghost obsessions "I just don't want you guys to poison the minds of Danny's girlfriend's parents with your sick obsession with ghosts."

Johnny then got an idea and said with a smile "What are you talking about? I think ghost hunting is pretty cool."

"You do?" Jazz asked surprised.

"You do?!" Kitty, Ember and Danny said in surprise as well.

Johnny gave a shrug as he walked up to Jack "Of course it is. Despite that people think that ghosts don't exist, I think we should not leave the actual existence of ghosts out of the question. After all, it could finally proof that there IS actually life after death. And by not trying to be at least open minded about it would be just stupid."

The others were baffled about what Johnny just said, but then Maddie and Jack smiled.

"Well, I can see now where your daughter had inherited her interest for ghosts." Maddie said to Kitty.

Jack slammed his hand on Johnny's back, feeling proud that he'd found another one who was interested in ghost hunting, and is even the father of his son's girlfriend "If you come by to our house, I can show you just how much my wife and I have discovered about ghosts. You will be astounded, Johnny. Or is it John?" he asked.

Johnny rubbed his back, feeling a bit hurt of being slammed at the back so hard, but ensured Jack "It's Johnny. And… it's a pleasure to meet you, Jack." He and Jack shook hands.

Jazz narrowed her eyes, being annoyed that her plan had failed.

Danny smirked at Jazz. But then seeing that they'll be late for their appointment with Lancer, he said "Uhm… we should get going. Mr. Lancer doesn't like to be kept waiting."

Seeing that Danny had a point, Maddie and Jack both nodded "You're right, son. Let's go." Jack said.

Maddie nodded and then said to Kitty and Johnny "It was nice to meet you both. Till next time."

Ember shared a kiss with Danny before saying softly "See you later, dipstick."

"And I'll… see you soon." Danny finished as he followed his parents and sister.

End of Flashback…

Danny and Ember walked hand in hand down the stairs, where Kitty (in her human disguise) was sitting on a chair and was having a nice talk with Maddie who sat on the opposite side.

Seeing Ember coming down, Kitty stood up from her chair while grabbing her handbag and asked Ember with a smile "Ready to go home, sweety?"

Ember gave a nod "Yeah, I'm ready to go home, mom." She then puts her arms around Danny's neck and told him softly "I'll see you tomorrow, Danny."

"Bye, Em." Danny said softly back before they shared a tender kiss.

Maddie thought it was so cute to see her son and Emily being in love like this, feeling that they're made for each other.

Ember then whispered in his ear "See you later on patrol, babypop." She then slowly broke the hug while softly stroking Danny's cheek, before she joined Kitty and walked to the front door.

Later that evening…

Danny and Ember, both now in their ghost form, flew above Amity Park, looking for any ghosts that might appear. They'd been flying around for an hour, but so far… no ghost attack yet.

Both boyfriend and girlfriend decided to land on top of the highest building, the same place where they'd shared their first kiss together. They sat their together, close to each other with both holding hands, looking up to the stars and moon. Both then saw a falling star.

"Hey, look. A falling star." Danny said.

Ember nodded "Yeah. Means you can make a wish."

Feeling that he'd already all he needed, Danny still closed his eyes and made his wish.

After Danny opened his eyes 10 seconds later, Ember asked him "What did you wish for?"

Danny chuckled "If I'd tell you, my wish won't come true."

Ember gave a shrug "Perhaps." But then asked as she sat on his lap "Had the wish something to do with… me?"

Danny gave a shrug "Perhaps." He then mentally thought, like he was saying it to Ember 'Yeah, it definitely was. I wished that… you and I would be together… forever.'

Ember blinked her eyes for a moment being confused, as she could have sworn she heard Danny's thoughts, though it was weak and vague, she could heard him saying clearly that they would be together forever.

Wandering what was bothering her, Danny asked his girlfriend "Ember, you okay?"

Forming a sweet smile while blushing, Ember placed her arms around Danny's neck, ensuring him "Oh yeah… everything is great." She then mentally thought, like speaking to Danny 'Oh Danny… I too hope that… we will be together… forever…'

Danny himself now could have sworn he just heard Ember's thoughts. He then smiled to her and both shared a passionate kiss.

They're kiss lasted for some minutes, with Ember starting to moan "Hmmm…. Oh, dipstick…"

But suddenly, Ember felt Danny's soft touch… on her left breast.

She gasped in near shock.

Danny, realizing what he just did, immediately apologized as they broke the kiss and raised his hands "Ember…! I-I-I I'm sorry! I… I didn't meant to do that! I was just-just-just so… so…. I'm so sorry, Ember…. I wasn't thinking straight!"

Ember slowly grabbed his hands, ensuring him "No, no… it's okay, Danny, I was just… surprised, that's all." They stared into each other's eyes for a little time, till Ember sighed and stated "Look, Danny… it's not that I don't want to, it's just…. I… I don't think I'm ready to take that step yet into our relationship."

Having already a feeling that Ember wasn't ready yet to take such a major step, he nodded in "Of course… I understand, Em. And honestly… I too don't think that I'm ready for it yet either." he then apologized again "I'm sorry that I let myself go like that. You're just so… hot and… beautiful and…." He then sighed and made a promise to her "I won't do that again to you, Ember. Not until you're ready."

Ember formed a small smile as she slowly lets go of his hands and places hers on his cheeks "Thank you… babypop." And both then shared another passionate kiss, but this time, Danny was holding himself.

After a few minutes, as both broke the kiss to grasp for air, Danny's Warning Ghost Sense goes off, warning him of a different ghost nearby. Both then heard screaming down below, as they looked, they saw a herd of Ghost Rats crawling all over one street to another, eating every kind of food they find.

Danny and Ember exchanged a short look, nodding to another while Danny held up the Fenton Thermos and then flew down below to capture these Ghost Rats.

Many hours later, at Fenton Works…

After a short but tense fight, Danny and Ember were able to defeat the herd of Ghost Rats and captured them all in the Fenton Thermos. Not long after that, Danny and Ember encountered the Box Chost, who was roaming around in a warehouse full of shoeboxes, but he was easily defeated and captured in the Thermos as well.

After that, there were no other ghost threats to deal with, other than just stopping a couple of robberies in town.

When it was about 1 AM, Danny and Ember called it a day and flew over to Danny's parents basement laboratory to send the Ghost Rats and the Box Ghost back into the Ghost-Zone.

Danny shook his head while he chuckled. So, Ember asked him "What? What's so funny?"

Danny glanced at his girlfriend while smiling and answered "Guess my Dad was right about one thing: Ghost Rats DO exist."

Ember gave a shrug "You have no idea, dipstick. Although, I never would have thought those Ghost Rats would all come out of the Ghost-Zone at the same time. Usually they're just being alone, or are in a group of at least four. I do wander what made them to unite and try to escape into the human world?"

"Beats me." Danny answered before glancing at the new transportation vehicle that his dad had been building in the lab since yesterday. Though the dome at the front and several parts were still missing, the vehicle was still being able to float, hovering just about 10 inches above the floor "I wander what kind of a vehicle this is that my dad has been building?" he asked himself as he took a look at it.

Ember took a look at it too and wandered "Looks to me some kind of a… mini submarine? Maybe your father could tell you tomorrow?"

Danny gave a shrug "I guess."

Both shared one last passionate kiss before Ember departed and said before turning intangible "See you tomorrow." And phased through the ceiling, leaving Danny's house.

After Ember was gone, Danny started to yawn "I guess I should get ready for bed." And floated up, became intangible and phased through the ceiling, going back to his own room.

$$$$$$$$$$ - M-rated part - $$$$$$$$$$

Danny took his time to take a shower in the bathroom. After he too had cleaned his Danny Phantom suit while still being ghost, he putted it back on before transforming back to his human form, making the suit disappearing "Good way to store your suit that nobody can see." Danny said to himself before putting on his pajamas and went to his room.

Just as Danny was about to lie down on his bed, he saw on his PDA that he'd received a message.

Wandering who it could be that would send him a message at this hour, he probably thought it was another spam mail. However, he smiled when he saw that it was a message from Ember.

Danny opened the message, saying;

A little preview for that 'special moment', if you play your cards right, babypop

XXX

Danny blinked his eyes when she'd typed this message. He then saw at the bottom of the message a photo attached to it. When Danny clicked on it. The PDA took like a minute to fully open the picture. But once it was all clear… Danny's eyes went wide and his mouth fell right open, as he saw it was a picture of Ember, wearing a short black/red nightgown and having lowered it reveal the top part of her breasts but high enough to cover a small inch above her nipples and gave a sweet smile while her eyes showed… lust and desire.

As he took his time to look at the picture, Danny slowly started to like it 'Damn, Ember…' was all he could say in his mind, being enchanted by his girlfriend's beauty and her… seducing side.

Danny decides to send a message back, saying;

Something to look forward too.

Don't worry babe, if you're not ready for it yet, I understand.

I can wait.

After a minute, Ember replied, saying;

A real gentleman… xxx

Danny send an emoji back, giving a wink and a blow kiss.

But after that, he got no reply. He waited for 5 minutes "Huh. I wander what's taking so long?"

That was when Danny began to feel something, making him more… relaxed and… gave a soft moan…. He started to imagine to see 'more' of Ember, imagining her dropping down her nightgown, revealing her fully naked body. He felt this exited that he rubbed his right hand to his slowly hardened penis, having the urge to masturbate.

That was when he stopped and tried to snap out of it "Wait… what am I doing?" he gave a sigh and stood up from his bed, walking to his window, looking over town, trying to clear his mind.

He still felt some sensitivity, making him to moan again "Wha… what's happening to me?" he asked himself. He tried to concentrate and felt through his mental link with Ember… that she was getting turned on herself "Wait… is… Ember doing that?" Danny eyes went wide as he realized what Ember was doing "No way…! Is she… touching herself?!"

Suddenly, his phone ringed. When he looked at it, he saw that it was Ember who called him. Danny swallowed, feeling a bit nervous. He picked up the phone "He… hello? Ember?"

"Hmmm… aaaah… can you feel it, babypop? Can you feel what I'm feeling…? Aahhhh…" Ember asked while she was moaning.

Danny had nearly lost for words, but tried to say "E-Ember…?"

"Yes? Hmmm… ooooh…"

"Are you… doing what I'm… feeling what you're doing…?" Danny asked while rubbing himself between his legs, feeling he'd lost all control over himself.

Ember was giggling through the horn, admitting while giving soft moans "Yeah… I am, Danny… I was thinking of you and… I couldn't… hmmm… control myself anymore…" Danny slowly pulled down his pants, slowly stroking his now rock hard cock, while Ember continued whispering through the phone "I want to… do it together with you… wanting to hear how much you… love it, babypop… aaaah…!"

Danny gave a soft moan, as he lied back on his bed and stroke his cock, telling softly how he feels "Oh, Ember… you don't realize how much I… cannot go without you… and… aaaaah… want to… make love to you…"

Keeping her phone close to her, Ember twisted her right nipple while slowly rubbing her clitoris "Aaaaahhh… tell me… more… Mmmwhaaah…!"

"E…Ember… I want to… softly touch your body… and… kiss you… down your neck… all the way till your… soft breasts…"

Ember felt her pleasure increasing, sending the same to Danny "Ooohh…! Yes… just like that…! Aaaaahh!" she fingered herself, while Danny increased stroking his cock.

"I… I-I-I want to… go down… and… I want to…!" Danny had lost for words as his pleasure increased.

Ember moaned wildly "Just… AaaAAH! Just tell me…! Tell me fucking now what you want to do with me, Danny… Aaaaaah!"

"Ember… I go down to your… wet clit… and… softly lick your pussy… and…! And… taste your juices…!" Danny moaned.

"Oooh, yes. Yes! Just like that!" Ember said, liking how to imagine Danny performing cunnilingus on her.

Their pleasure increased more and more.

Ember then asked softly through the phone, slowing down their masturbating "Danny… tell me how… big your cock is right now…"

"It's…" Danny said, trying to best describe his cock to her "It's a big one… wanting to be pleasured by you so badly…"

Ember chuckled while moaning "Aaaah…! Let me tell you… how I would take yours. I'll stroke it slowly… while… tasting the top part with my tongue, going slowly circles around it…"

Danny stroke his cock again a big faster, imagining Ember taking his cock in her mouth "Oooh, Ember… yes…!"

"Then… I move my tongue all over your big pole… going up… and down… up… and down…. Oh, Danny… I want it so badly in my mouth…! Then… you grab my head… and slowly thrust your cock in my mouth…. It's… so tasty as my tongue keeps moving around it while you keep thrusting it in and out… wanting to release your seed in my throat so badly…! And… Oh fuck! I… want to climax together with you…!" Ember finished… feeling her climax coming as she fingered herself faster.

Danny couldn't hold himself anymore, and stroke his cock even faster. He could… even feel Ember's climax coming through their mental link, turning him on even more "Oh Ember…! Oh, Ember! I… I…! OH FUCK YEAH!"

"DA… DANNYYYYY!"

As Danny released his climax, making his shirt dirty, Ember climaxed so much that her panties became wet, dripping down from her juices. Ember slowly removed her hand from her pussy, feeling it was still wet.

The both of them took their time to catch their breaths, till Danny spoke "Oh, man… that felt… amazing…. I gotta say… I really… really like this naughty side of you, Em."

Ember giggled as she added "And you must be a natural in bed… as how you described how you would make love to me…" but then she said after giving a sigh "But… this is only the first step… so… be patient and… we'll do more things, but at a slow rate… till I'm ready for the final step… and I can feel that… you want to take it slow too."

Danny smiled, agreeing to her terms after he gave a big sigh "Deal. And I… look forward to the next few steps…" he then looked down at himself, knowing now that he had to clean himself again "I guess I should better clean myself. I don't want this sticking on my belly and shirt all night."

Ember laughed a bit "Yeah… I guess you do. And… I better go and change myself too."

Both didn't say anything for a short while. Until Danny closed his eyes for a moment and softly said "Ember…?"

"Yes?"

"I love you… so much…"

"I love you too, babypop… more than anything in the world…"

"Bye…" Danny softly said.

"Bye…" Ember too softly said.

Both then hanged up their phones, going to clean and change themselves before finally going to bed.

After fifteen minutes, both finally lied in their beds. As they closed their eyes, both imagined they were lying in one bed together, cuddling close together. Tonight… they would have a very peaceful sleep.

The next day…

(May 9th, 2004)

Like nearly every Sunday, Danny would take his time to rest and woke up around 9:45 AM. After he'd taken a shower and got dressed into his rock outfit, he enjoyed a great Sunday breakfast with his family.

Although this breakfast was even more fancier and more delicious than any other Sunday breakfast, Jack didn't get a clue why his wife, Maddie was doing her best to serve her husband and children a great breakfast, to celebrate their anniversary and just said "Wow, Maddie! This is great!" Jack said after swallowing lots of fried bacon and eggs.

Maddie gave a simple nod "I'm glad you like it, Jack." Then looked away with a mixture of both disappointment and a bit of anger, as her husband had clearly forgotten their anniversary, again. However, she still had a tiny bit of hope that Jack would surprise her nonetheless.

Danny didn't really get what was going on with his mother. And when he glanced at Jazz, she clearly wasn't paying attention and was just reading a book while taking a sip from her orange juice.

The rest of the morning went as usual, with Jack being in the basement lab to finish building the new hovering vehicle he'd been working on the past few days.

Jazz was on the phone, talking with a friend of hers and were discussing where to meet this afternoon.

Since Ember was going to have extra tutelage for Chemistry class in order to get a higher grade before the end of the school term, she was going to meet Danny later so he would help her a bit since he was better at chemistry.

It was about 1:30 PM when Danny was looking through the chemistry lesson book from school to see what Ember could pay attention too. But seeing he wasn't sure what advice he should give to Ember, he decided to go down to the basement lab to ask his father.

Danny walks up to Jack, asking him while holding the lesson book "Dad, can I ask you a question?"

Jack turns around from working in the cockpit of the hovering vehicle, forming a big smile on his face, thinking that Danny was interested in his new invention "About the Specter Speeder? Sure!" he wraps his left arm around Danny and shoves him inside the cockpit, showing all what the new Specter Speeder had to offer

Jack sits next to him and pointed at the dashboard "This little baby has the state-of-the-art spirit plane exploration technology." He stated as he showed all the tools that the Specter Speeder had in its arsenal "And it's got a super-sized cup holder." Jack finishes while pressing a button, making a large cup holder popping out of the dashboard.

Danny gave a nod, but then said "It's all… very interesting, Dad. But I was actually gonna ask if you could help me search for some things through my chemistry book to pay attention to?" he asked while holding up his Chemistry book.

Jack raised an eyebrow as he took the book and flipped through the pages as he asked "For chemistry? Why? Are you getting bad grades?!" he asked with a serious face.

Danny shook his head while waving his hands "No, no, no, it's not for me. It's for Emily. She's fallen behind on her grades for Chemistry class and is going to get some extra lessons so she can get a higher grade on her rapport card and… I hoped to try to help her out."

Jack thought about that for a few seconds "Hmmm, I see." then smiled at his son "Well, you've come to the right place, Danny. Now, where was it that Emily had trouble to understand about chemistry?" he asked while flipping through a few pages.

Just as Danny was about to tell his father where Emily got stuck, Maddie comes down the basement stairs and asked her husband as she stops near the end of the Specter Speeder "Jack, dear…"

Jack stepped out of the Specter Speeder, wandering what Maddie wanted "Yes, Maddie?"

With a hopeful smile, Maddie asked her husband "It's getting awfully late. Is there something that you might have forgotten today?"

"Uhh…" Jack looked clueless, thinking of what he'd forgotten today 'Did I forget something?'

"Something significant? Having to do with today's date of… May 9th?" she pointed to the calendar on the wall, where a picture of Jack and Maddie on their wedding day pinned to May 9t h, with arrows pointing to it with a texture written above it saying 'Happy Anniversary!'

But despite Maddie showing the calendar that today is their anniversary, Jack still looked clueless while trying to remember "9th, 9th… 9th. 9th! 9th…?" he scratched his head, still not having the answer "Nope. Still not catching your drift."

Maddie looked a bit sad, but suppressed it with a understanding smile "Our… anniversary, dear? Oh well, I guess it just slipped your mind…" she then starts to shake up and then suddenly burst out in anger "FOR THE EIGHTEETH YEAR IN A ROW!" and then slams her fist down on the end of the Specter Speeder, causing it to start up and shift into drive with a surprised Danny still inside.

While Maddie keeps yelling at Jack, both her and her husband had no idea that Danny was flying off with the Specter Speeder, heading straight into the Ghost Portal which opens and flies right into it, into the Ghost-Zone!

"Whoooooooooooooooa!" Danny yells.

The Specter Speeder flies further deep into the Ghost-Zone. Danny looked worriedly around for a moment "Oh my God… I'm in the Ghost-Zone!"

While a few ghosts swirled past the cockpit of the Speeder, Danny flew past many purple floating doors and dozens of floating island, each having it's own unique style, serving as some kind of realms.

Suddenly, a large white ghost, wearing a white coat and black hat towers menacingly over the Danny as he approached it with the Speeder. This was Walker, prison warden and a crocked sheriff of the Ghost-Zone.

When Danny saw him, he screamed in shock as he notices Walker and in time brings the Speeder to a stop as he grabbed the steer wheel.

Walker frowns at Danny for daring to enter the Ghost-Zone in the Speeder "Trespassing in an unauthorized vehicle. That's against the rules." He seriously says as he leans over to the Speeder.

Danny apologized while trying to remain calm "Uh, sorry. I didn't know. I… came here by accident."

Walker wasn't amused by that kind of an excuse and warned him as he points at him "Ignorance of the law is no excuse for breaking it, punk. I see your face around here again, you and I are gonna have a problem."

Seeing that it was better for him to leave, Danny gave a salute "Yeah… understood." He then quickly shifts the Specter Speeder into reverse and flies backwards fast as Walker dissipates.

When the Specter Speeder flies all the way back, entering the portal, it came to a stop on its original spot in the basement lab, where Maddie was still yelling at Jack "…I'VE WARNED YOU SO MANY TIMES JACK FENTON, BUT CLEARLY HUNTING GHOSTS IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU THAN ME!" she then hits the end of the Specter Speeder again, as if it never left. She then turns herself and marches out of the basement lab.

Danny exited the Speeder while he breathed heavily of being in the Ghost-Zone for the first time and meeting a very strict Walker.

Jack glanced at Danny for a moment, giving a nod "I know, I know, I'm just as freaked out by your mother's reaction as you are."

Danny then wandered as he took the Chemistry book from the Speeder "Well… are you not gonna… try to apologize?"

Jack nodded "You're right, son." And then ran out of the basement lab.

Jack came into the living room, but didn't see his wife "Maddie? Maddie?!" he then heard some closet doors shut very loud, coming from his and Maddie's bedroom. Jack walked up the stairs and entered their bedroom, seeing some suitcases opened on the bed while a very angered Maddie packed her things in them.

"Maddie? What is all this?" Jack asked confused.

Maddie glared at Jack, being both angry and sad "I'm going to my sister in Arkansas! That's what all this is!" She walked back to her closet, grabbing lots of her other clothes "I can't do this anymore, Jack! For eighteen years… EIGHTEEN YEARS you forgot the most important day of our marriage! For EIGHTEEN YEARS I've been taking it in, but today is the limit!" She then threw her last stuff inside her suitcases.

Jack tried to apologize "Maddie… I'm sorry. Let… let me make it up to you and-"

"STOP!" Maddie yelled in Jack's face, making him scared of her reaction "Just stop Jack! I've been taking those excuses for long enough!" As she closed her suitcases, she heard a taxi honked in front of the Fenton residence. She took her suitcases and walked out of the bedroom.

Jack went after her, begging Maddie to forgive him, realizing he'd made a horrible mistake by not trying to remember their anniversary "Maddie, wait! I didn't mean all of it! Please, I'm sorry!"

At that same moment, Ember (in her human disguise) walked up to the front door of Fenton Works. She glanced at the taxi for a moment who'd pulled over in front of the house, wandering who had called a cab. Ember could sense that Danny felt worried, as if… something was wrong with his parents. She began to look worried.

Ember was just about to knock on the front door, when suddenly Maddie walks out, pulling one of her suitcases behind her which Jack hanged onto and was dragged behind, trying to stop her to no avail while he begged "Maddie, please, don't go! I just have a little more work to do on the Specter Speeder and then I'll do everything in my power to make you feel happy again." He finished while letting go of Maddie's suitcase.

Maddie however wasn't paying attention to Jack's excuses and placed her bags back of the taxi. As she opens the door of the taxi, she glanced down at Jack, still looking both angry and sad "You had your chance to make me happy, Jack. For the past eighteen years on this very specific date you had time to make me happy… by finally remembering our anniversary for once." She gets into the taxi and closed the door. Maddie rolled down the window, saying with a sad tone before leaving "I can't take this anymore, Jack. I want a divorce."

Ember gasped in shock of hearing all this. Danny steps out of the front door too, having heard everything and was just as shocked as Ember was "Divorce? What?!"

When the taxi drove away, Maddie rolls the window up, looking away from the man she thought who loved her.

Jack was horrified of hearing those words from Maddie, telling that she wants to divorce. Jack stands up and runs after the taxi "Maddie! Wait! COME BACK!"

Ember looked at her boyfriend, seeing he was still in shock, not knowing how to process this.

Jazz, who was thinking that her parents had another usual fight, had ignored what they said and just walked out the door, passing Danny and Ember to have her planned meeting with her friend.

Danny frowned at his sister "Jazz! Didn't you heard what just happened?"

Jazz stops and turns back to glance at Danny with a shrug "Hear what? Mom yelling at Dad? Relax. She'll get over it." she finished with an ensuring smile.

That made Danny angry at her and snapped his fingers before her face "Hello?! Earth to Jasmine Fenton!? Mom just left for Arkansas to go and see Aunt Alicia and said to Dad that she wants to divorce!"

While Ember holds Danny's hand, Jazz sighs as she states to her little brother "Look, Mom gets angry at Dad lots of times and eventually she'll cool down and come back. And if I'm right, Dad will once again cluelessly do nothing to apologize to her."

That was when Jack walks back up to the house and says as she walks back inside "That's where you're wrong, Jasmine." He awkwardly admits to himself "I have been a little preoccupied with ghosts lately." Then he becomes determent as he walks up the stairs while saying "That is why I'm traveling to your Aunt Alicia's in Spittoon, Arkansas to apologize like I've never done before and give your mother the greatest anniversary gift ever!"

Danny and Jazz looked surprised to see their father so determent. After a few minutes, he came downstairs with a suitcase and walks outside as another taxi pulled over "I'll be back in a few days." Jack says as he puts his suitcase in the back of the taxi and stepped in. As the taxi drove off, Jack called to his son and daughter "Wish me luck! Oh, and call me if any of you see a ghost!"

Ember hugged her boyfriend, feeling sorry for Danny to go through all this "I'm so sorry for you Danny."

Danny returned the hug, feeling some sadness in him "Man… I can't believe that my mom and dad are gonna split up."

However, Danny then noticed that Jazz hadn't spoken a single word and was speechless… feeling suddenly some... self-doubting "I was… wrong?"

Danny broke the hug with Ember and asked as he poked his sister "Jazz? Jazz?!"

Jazz's self-doubting increased, as all she thought she knew about her father turned out to be wrong this whole time "Wait. He's going to Arkansas? To apologize? I was… wrong?!"

A few hours later…

Ember had called Sam, Tucker, Kitty and Johnny what happened when she just arrived at her boyfriend's place and to come over to him to give him the support her needs.

They all gathered in Danny's room, with Kitty and Johnny 13 having dropped their human disguises so they could intangibly sneak into his room. Danny sat on his bed, with Ember sitting next to him, Sam and Kitty sat on a chair while Johnny leaned against a wall, listening to Danny how it happened.

"You guys should've seen what happened. I've never seen my mom so angry before. They're right on the brink! I'm telling you, anything could set my mom now over the edge and actually files for a divorce." Danny stated.

While Ember rubbed his shoulder to comfort him, Kitty asked Danny "And you're saying that it was because he forgot their anniversary? No wonder she's all pissed off." She stated while crossing her arms, knowing what a women would feel like if her spouse forgets the most beautiful day of their lives.

Johnny nodded in agreement, but then asked Danny "How bad was it? Was it like… the third time your dad forgot their anniversary?"

"Eighteenth time." Danny corrected him.

"EIGHTEENTH?!" both Kitty and Johnny said simultaneously in shock.

Johnny shook his head while leaning back to the wall "Geez, eighteen times? Your old man needs to do a lot now to just apologize if he wants to safe his marriage with your mom."

Seeing that this wasn't helping Danny, Sam ensured Danny to give him a bit of hope "Well… at least your dad finally realized that he made a mistake, right? Who knows? Maybe he could finally safe his marriage and your folks will not get divorced?"

Ember nodded "Yeah, he did say he was going to apologize to your mom like never before."

Danny sighed, hoping that his parents won't split. But deep down, Danny felt that his father needed a miracle now if he doesn't want to lose his marriage. Ember could feel his doubt and hugged him, which he returned.

Tucker then told, knowing what Danny went through "Well, you're not alone, Danny. I know what it feels like to be in the middle of a divorce in the family."

Sam raised an eyebrow at Tucker "Wait. Your parents went through a divorce too?"

Tucker shook his head as he explained "Not my parents, by my grandparents went through a divorce when I was 6. To make a long story short, my grandma thought that my grandpa was cheating on her and without a second thought, filled for a divorce the next day." Tucker sighed as he thought about those memories "Man, my parents barely had any time for me for some months while visiting a some lawyers, going to the courthouse, finding new places for them to live and split their stuff among each other." But then he gave a relieving sigh "Luckily it turned out to be a huge misunderstanding, so in the end they didn't divorce and are still together."

Sam then asked Tucker "Why did you never told me or Danny that your grandparents went through a near divorce?"

"Because neither of you ever asked." Tucker answered while he shrugged.

Sam felt that Tucker had a point. She and Danny never did ask Tucker about his grandparents, so it's obvious they couldn't know about the divorce between two of Tucker's grandparents.

Kitty wandered how Danny's sister was taking all of this "I feel bad for you Danny. We all do. Not to mention what your sister must be thinking about all this."

Danny narrowed his eyes as he told "Jazz? Ugh! She's now acting like a basket case. She's going through every file she's been keeping about us, looking for mistakes she'd made."

And indeed, Jazz was having a hard time to cope with what was going on between her parents. Or rather, she was shocked to learn that her father realized that he made a big mistake and is going to do anything to undo it.

After another hour of searching through all the books, journals and notes she's been keeping about her family to look for clues that would prove her mistake, that she was wrong, she began to feel stressed and panicked.

With her hair being a mess and having drank her third coffee, she was sitting at the kitchen table with dozens of her journals and notes she tossed aside one journal labelled 'Jack Fenton Observations', she quickly talked to herself "I don't understand." And picked another book while quickly flipping through the pages "Every piece of evidence I have indicates Dad would never be self-aware enough to realize he made a mistake!" she then puts down her book, feeling she might have made more mistakes in her 'family observations' "If I'm wrong about this, what else could I have been wrong about?"

Just then, Jazz heard rattling in the living room and yelled "DANNY, KEEP IT DOWN, WOULD YA?!"

In the living room, while Tucker and Jazz were helping with a bit of cleaning up, Johnny's shadow was helping Danny, who was in his ghost form while vacuuming the walls in the living room. Danny called back to his sister "Hey! I'm trying to make this place spotless so Mom will have a clean house to come home to."

Ember, who was also in her ghost form and was dusting the ceiling with a duster agreed with Danny and added "Yeah, and we're all here to help him!"

As Jazz rushes into the living room, Danny and Ember quickly land behind her while transforming back to their human forms while Shadow was hiding "Well, I need to concentrate!" Jazz yells. As she turns to Danny and Ember, with both wearing a suspicious smile, Jazz groans as she walks to the living room "Ugh! I'll be in the library." And walks out of the house.

While Danny and Ember turned ghost again, Kitty and Johnny phased through the wall before turning tangible again. Shadow felt relieved of not being discovered and rejoined Johnny's body.

"I don't know whose taking this the hardest. Me, or Jazz?" Danny asked himself while narrowing his eyes.

Ember holds his hand and softly stroke it while ensuring her boyfrriend "Just give her some time, dipstick."

Kitty then said, while putting a broom she'd used to wipe the floor upstairs down "It's a good thing you thought of cleaning your parent's house in case your mother comes home. Trust me, every women needs a clear head when they come back after a huge fight. And having a clean house to come back to is a good start."

Sam agreed to that, while Tucker told "Me and Sam had just finished the kitchen." But then told Danny "Just to let you know, I think your Dad's favorite fudge in the fridge is expired."

"We'll just have to throw that out then." Danny said while thinking of what to clean next "Now, all that is left are the Emergency Ops Center on the roof and the basement lab. Me and Johnny will do the lab, while you guys take to the Ops Center."

All seemed to agree to that. While Ember and Kitty flew up and went intangible before phasing through the ceiling, Sam and Tucker followed them upstairs to the Ops Center on the roof.

Danny and Johnny both phased down into the lab, finding it a mess while still floating in midair.

"Oh man. This place is a mess!" Danny then said while floating down "Well, better get started."

Danny was about to pick up some of the stuff on the floor, but was held back by Johnny "Hold on, Danny. I know a quicker and better way to clean up this place."

"How?" Danny wandered.

"Watch and learn." Johnny said while forming a grin and then shoots a small Ghost Ray at a pile of trash, which knocks it into a trash can.

Danny was impressed by that "Cool. Let me try." He then shoots a small Ghost Ray on some more trash and it too flew right into the trash can.

Danny and Johnny started shooting more blasts all over the lab to clean up very quickly and made everything well organized, from beakers, chairs, books, and lab equipment.

When they were nearly done, Danny, who wasn't paying attention, shoots a final Ray blast at the final object, which was a present and blasts it into the open Ghost Portal. Danny gasped after seeing the present disappear into the Portal.

Johnny raised an eyebrow, having seen what Danny shot at "Hopefully that wasn't very important." Danny hoped the same.

However, their question was to be answered as they noticed the tag that was tied to the present was on the floor. Danny picks it up and reads "Let this gift repair the bridge to our love, to make up for all the years that I've forgotten the day we got married. Happy anniversary – Jack?!" both Danny stared at the portal, having send the only thing that could possibly fix Jack and Maddie's marriage and prevent them from going to divorce.

"Oh, no." was all that Danny could say.

"This… is bad." Johnny added.

A few hours later, somewhere above Arkansas…

Inside a small airplane, flying over forest near the town of Spittoon, Jack was sitting in the back with several hillbilly farmers with one of them holding a pig.

Though Jack's mind was mostly on Maddie and finding a way to make up for all the times he'd forgotten their anniversary, he wasn't feeling comfortable to have to sit in a small plane to get to where Maddie's sister, Alicia had moved to after she got divorced a decade ago. But he had to make the best out of it, as this plane was the only one that would get him to Spittoon.

Wandering when they would land, Jack asked the pilot "Um, excuse me. Will we be landing soon?"

The copilot, a female hillbilly with braids looks back and answered Jack's question "Shoot, honey, there ain't no airport in Spittoon."

"But… how will I get there?" Jack asked.

The female copilot tossed a parachute at Jack "Why with these of course." She said and opened the door of the airplane.

Jack was getting scared that he had to jump down with a parachute, but as this was the only way to get to Maddie back, he nervously thanked the pilot and the copilot "Uhh… right. Well, thanks anyway."

When Jack jumps out of the airplane, the female copilot called out to Jack as she sticks her head out of the door "Thank y'all for flying Air Grits!"

Jack deploys his parachute, heading down towards the small town of Spittoon.

Not too far away from where Jack was supposed to land, Alicia, Maddie's sister was chopping some firewood with her ax outside her cabin. Maddie was sitting at a bench, looking sad.

While grabbing a pile of the firewood she cut and lifts them onto her shoulders, Alicia walked over to Maddie and said to her sister as she placed the firewood down "I'm proud of you that you finally decided to leave that fool who believes in ghosts, Maddie. You and your kids deserve someone better."

Maddie sighs sadly "I… I know Jack can forget things so easily but… I just wished for once he would remember our special day, just ONE day!" she sadly looks down, thinking of her son and daughter "I'm just thinking about Danny and Jasmine… and how they will end up after this."

Alicia sat next to Maddie and encouraged her as she placed her hand on her shoulder "Maddie, listen. It may be hard for you and the kids for a while, but in the end you will end up way better than before. Look at me for example! I've been out here for nearly a decade since I dumped that nutcase of a husband of mine. And as you can see, I'm incredibly happy." she finished with a serious look on her face.

Maddie glanced at her sister, not so sure if she feels the same about how Alicia ended up after her divorce "I don't know, Alicia. Just because something works for you doesn't mean it works everybody."

"You're a strong and intelligent women, Maddie – runs in the family. It's about time you use the best years of your life for something better than a fool who believes in ghosts." Alicia added, believing her sister and her nephew and niece are better off without Jack in their lives.

While Maddie still doubted in her mind, she and Alicia suddenly hear a thump and a scream. They run towards the noise and see a white parachute flailing around from a tree.

"Ghost!" Maddie yells and draw a small weapon she use to zap the parachute with green beam! Out of the parachute, Jack fell onto the ground, landing on his head.

Maddie and Alicia look surprised to see it was Jack and had come all the way up here "Jack?!" Maddie says while helping her husband up.

Alicia narrowed her eyes while she sighs "I'll get the antiseptic." and walks over to her cabin.

Back with Danny and his friends at Fenton Works…

Danny and Johnny had told Ember, Kitty, Sam and Tucker of what had happened when they used their Ghost Ray's to 'clean up' the basement, which resulted in Danny having send the very present that his father wanted to use to apologize to his mother for forgetting their anniversary into the Ghost-Zone.

Ember was reading the tag that fell of the present "…to make up for all the years that I've forgotten the day we got married. Happy anniversary – Jack."

Danny was angry at himself "Goddammit! That present was probably the thing that could save their marriage and now it's gone! My parents are going to divorce and it's all my fault!"

Ember tried to calm her boyfriend "Danny, calm down. We can still fix this."

That did calm Danny a bit down, but then looked determent "You're right, Em. I can still fix this." he then transformed into his ghost form "I'm going into the Ghost-zone and get that present back."

Right when he was about to enter the portal, Danny was stopped by Ember "Dipstick, wait!" she then said with the same determination as her boyfriend "I know the Ghost-zone better than anyone. If you're going in, I'm coming with you." And then pressed the Fenton logo on her human-disguise belt and transformed back to her ghost form.

Johnny walked over to them and said "And I'm coming too." He then snapped his fingers, making his bike appearing next to him "It's partly my fault that your dad's present to your mom got send into the Ghost-zone."

Kitty then puts her hand on Ember's shoulder "Don't think you and Danny are going into the Ghost-zone alone, girlfriend. I'm with you."

Ember and Danny formed a smile, knowing that they had their ghost friends behind their backs.

Tucker and Sam had decided to stay in the lab and guard the portal. But to be sure that they'll be able to provide at least some help, Danny found a few camera-microphone headsets between his parents inventions.

Once Danny, Ember, Johnny and Kitty both had a camera-headset on, Danny looked at the Portal with a sense of worriedness while Ember used her teleportation power to make her guitar appear into her hands and puts it over her shoulder "I so don't want to do this. But if it is to safe my parents' marriage, I guess I have no choice."

Confidently, Sam said "You get in, get the present and get out. You'll be fine. And besides, you have Ember, Johnny and Kitty to help you."

Danny nodded as he took Ember's hand, while Johnny 13 and Kitty joined them "I guess you're right."

Tucker added as he showed his PDA which showed himself on webcam "Yeah and with this mini webcam, I'll be with you guys every step of the way. But first…" Tucker then started playing a video game on the PDA."

All narrowed their eyes at Tucker, with Ember asking Sam "You'll monitor the webcam?"

"I'll monitor the webcam."

Johnny 13 stepped on his motorcycle, with Kitty sitting behind him. When Johnny and Kitty drove through the portal, into the Ghost-zone, they were soon joined by Danny and Ember.

Ember sighed after seeing the place she'd spent the last two decades in "Home sweet home." She said sarcastically.

While Johnny drove with his bike a bit slower so Danny and Ember would keep up with them, Sam was amazed of seeing the Ghost-zone through the webcam, despite having been already when Clockwork took her to his lair not long ago "Wow! This place is amazing!"

Danny and neither of his ghost friends and girlfriend felt the same way, with Danny saying "No it's not. It's creepy. And it goes on forever."

Johnny agreed with Danny as he added "Yep. It's not like the human world after all. In here… is almost nothing but misery."

Ember felt a bit of sadness "And nobody seemed to do anything about it. Well, except me of course." She finished with a small hopeful smile.

Kitty then said while Johnny stopped "Jack's present could be anywhere by now. I say we should split up and contact each other if any of us finds the present, or when there's trouble."

Danny and his girlfriend seemed agree to that plan, with Ember instructing them "Right. Danny will come with me, while you and Johnny go the other way."

They all nodded and went their ways, with Johnny driving with Kitty to where some floating islands were and Danny and Ember going in the opposite direction where hundreds of purple doors were floating.

Wandering where these purple doors would lead too, Danny asked Ember "Say, Em? What are all these purple doors for?"

While flying through, Ember answered Danny's question "Each of these doors leads to another ghost's lair. Everyone has his or her own." They stopped before one of them and Ember opened it, showing to Danny what is inside "Look."

Danny took a peak, seeing what was a kids bedroom, with a small boy that glowed blue was watching only static on a small tv "Who is that?" Danny wandered.

Ember was however avoidable by answering that question "Actually… I never asked." She then whispered to her boyfriend "He doesn't like anyone who invades his room and changes into a big monster to fight off anyone who disturbs him while watching his TV show."

"Hmmm. I see."

"We should better leave, before he starts to attack us." Ember advised.

Not wanting to cause any trouble, Danny agreed with Ember. While the boy shifts his eyes to Danny and Ember, they closed the door, he then glanced back to his tv screen.

While Danny and Ember flew further, Ember explained "It's not only just small rooms that you find behind those doors. Some of the realms behind them are as big as the inside of an apartment or a big house."

As they land in some dark forest with some tombstones, Danny asked while checking where the present could have gone to "What's your lair look like?"

Ember glanced at Danny with a bit surprised look, but then smiled as she answered "Oh, it's like a small apartment, completely decorated in my style of living."

"Can you… I don't know, show it to me sometime?" Danny wandered while he stood close to his girlfriend.

Ember started to blush of Danny's request to see her own lair, but would love to show Danny her place "Hmmm, sure. I could take you there sometimes, but..." she finished with a bit of doubtful face.

Danny could sense that she wasn't sure if Danny meant by visiting her place they could do more than just relaxing at her lair. He ensured her "Hey, don't worry. It's not like that, it's just… I want to see how you're living, that's all."

Ember formed a grin, as she could sense that there was something else that Danny wanted to do.

Danny admitted "And… possibly… cuddling together?" he moved Ember closer to him "A bit… fooling around?"

That made Ember to giggle.

"Hey, Romeo, me and Tuck can hear and everything you guys say." Sam said through the speaker.

Being a bit embarrassed, Ember and Danny broke their embrace.

But then… they could hear some wailing coming from the tombstones as they rattled. From the dirt, several glowing green skeleton ghosts pop out of the ground. Danny stood in front of Ember to protect her.

As the skeletons were about to attack, one of them surprisingly said and formed a smile "Hey look, it's Ember McLain!"

The other skeleton ghosts stopped as they recognized the heroine of the Ghost-zone "You're right, it is Ember. She's back!"

Some other ghosts seemed to have heard what the skeletons were saying and flew down to see if Ember had truly returned. A purple glowing ghost recognized Ember too "Hey, look! Ember is back!"

The ghosts muttered among each other while being glad that their hero had returned.

Danny began to smile as he glanced at his girlfriend "Wow. You sure got a lot of admirers."

"Yeah, that I do." Ember said with some modest. But then she got an idea and asked the other ghosts "Listen everyone. Me and my boyfriend have come to the Ghost-zone because we're looking for something."

Danny nodded as he stated "Yeah, it's a present, about yea big." He finished while moving his arms around to show the size of the present.

The other ghosts were muttering among each other again, asking each other if they'd seen a present. But nobody seemed to have seen a present anywhere.

Back with Sam and Tucker…

Sam was watching the monitor on Tucker's PDA, seeing the dozens of ghosts who seemed to be friendly towards Danny and Ember "Wow. I kinda knew that Ember would have some fans and admirers in the Ghost-zone but I never realized it were that many. What do you think, Tucker?" she asked while looking at her right, but didn't see Tucker anymore "Tucker?"

Tucker was inside the cockpit of the Specter Speeder, looking at the dashboard while checking out the controls "I can't believe they didn't want to take the Specter Speeder. This thing rocks!" he then started pressing many buttons on the dashboard and played with the stick control.

Sam narrowed her eyes as she walked over the Specter Speeder and told Tucker as she entered it "Tucker, stop play with that, we don't even know what it does."

As Tucker pressed a button that revealed the cup holder, he wandered what the red button inside a picture of a green, shapeless ghost would do "Hey, what's this thing do?"

"Tucker wait-" Sam tried to stop him but Tucker pressed it anyway, revealing a green scope in the shape of a circle.

"Real World items detected." A computer voice from the dashboard said.

Tucker was impressed with what it was "Cool! It's a scanner."

Sam wandered as she checked the scanner "Real World items?"

With Johnny and Kitty…

While Johnny 13 and Kitty flew away from one of the floating islands on the biker's motorcycle, Johnny sighed "Nothing. Not a single present."

Just as Shadow returned to Johnny, Kitty suggested "Let's just go over to the next island and see if it's there."

Johnny seemed to agree on that, but was then contacted by Sam "Hey, Kitty, Johnny, do you guys read me?"

Johnny holds his speaker and answered "We're hearing you, Sam. What's up?"

"I think me and Tucker have found to guide your guys to the present. There's a door a few miles to your left."

Kitty nodded before breaking contact "Got it. We're on our way."

Johnny was about to go full speed towards their destination, but then suddenly were shot by several green lasers!

"What the-" Johnny said before he and Kitty were hit and send them crashing as some green force field restrained them.

The both of them were shocked what had just happened while they floated in the air, with Johnny struggling to free himself.

"Hey! What gives?!" Kitty asked as she was both shocked and angry.

Her answer would soon be answered as suddenly three police ghosts appeared with their batons at hand while they were smirking.

Back with Danny and Ember…

Tucker contacted Danny and Ember through the speaker "Danny! Ember! I think we can guide you two to the present."

"There's a doorway not too far from you guys." Sam said while Danny and Ember flew of.

While Sam guided Danny and Ember to where the present was, Danny asked her "Can you contact Johnny and Kitty? Telling where we're heading?"

Tucker answered with a bit of worriedness "We just told them to meet you guys, but they're not responding anymore."

Danny and Ember both glanced to each other. They've a bad feeling about this.

Sam then instructed them "Yes, there! Take the one on your left."

While the two ghost heroes flew towards the door, Ember recognized it from somewhere "Hey, I know that place." When they entered the door, it confirmed Ember's suspicion and smiled "Yes, just as I thought. This is the Lost & Found realm."

Danny looked around the large room with the purple background, finding all kinds of stuff and objects that were floating around in mid-air "Huh. So this is where all that stuff ends up."

Suddenly, a voice called out "Yes!" Danny and Ember saw as the person who yelled, revealing to be the Box Ghost, trying to act all scary again "It all ends up in the possession of THE BOX GHOST!"

Danny and Ember rolled their eyes "Ugh, what are you doing here?" Danny asked the Box Ghost.

"I am The Box Ghost! Where do you think we go when you release us from your round, cylindrical trap?"

"You mean the Fenton Thermos?" Ember asked while still looking with her narrowed eyes and crossed her arms.

Box Ghost was puzzled for a few seconds, before he waves his arms "I am the Box Ghost! And beware! For I am merely ONE of your foes who reside in this realm! In fact, you might say, we're a package deal!" he starts to laugh of his own joke.

Danny and Ember exchanged some narrowed eyes to each other before glancing back to the Box Ghost.

Being in no mood to deal with the weakest ghost of the Ghost-zone, Danny said with a irritated voice "Ugh. Look, we're looking for something important. We don't have time for your box puns."

Just then, police sirens wailed, which came towards them which surprised Danny as he turns to the right to find the source of the sound. Ember knew immediately what this meant and grabbed Danny by his shoulder "C'mon, dipstick! We gotta get out of here!"

"Get out? Why?" Danny asked confused.

The Box Ghost trembled in fear "Flee! Lest you be hermetically sealed and shipped to your dooooom!"

Suddenly, green lasers were fired at the Box Ghost, who tries to flee but was hit soon after by a laser and was being restrained.

"What the heck?" Danny asked.

Ember pulled him by his arm "Let's get out of here!" seeing that she was serious, Danny obliged and flew away with his girlfriend, heading towards the door while more lasers were fired.

But then… Danny was hit from behind and crashed down into a pile of lost items!

Ember gasped in shock as Danny was now in handcuffs due to the force of the laser "DANNY!" she wanted to go and help him but was then hit by a green laser herself and thrown backwards!

At that moment, the same white ghost, Walker walked over to Danny "Possession of unauthorized recording equipment. That's against the rules." Walker removes Danny's webcam while opening his green book "Or at least it is now." Clearly Walker was making his own rules to find an excuse to arrest ghosts.

Danny tried to defuse the situation "Wait! This is all a big misunderstanding!"

However, Walker wasn't taking that for an answer and told while he crouches over to Danny "There may be chaos everywhere in this Ghost-zone, but there'll be order in MY prison. You should've heeded my warning, punk. Now you and I have a problem." He finishes while frowning at Danny.

"Hey Walker!" one of the police ghosts said, making Walker to glance at his minion, who together with two other police ghosts brought Ember to Walker and held her by the arms.

"Let me go! Let me go!" Ember yelled as she struggled to get out of the police ghost's grasps.

Walker smirked as he walked over to her "Well, well, well. Ember McLain. I have been waiting a long time for this moment." Ember looked fierce at the crooked prison warden while he removed her webcam and said as he leaned over to her "I hope you've enjoyed your little vacation to the human world, little girl. Cause you're going where trouble makers like you belong: My prison." He said as he held her webcam up.

A few minutes later, Danny and Ember were thrown into a ghost police-van of the 'GZPD'. Inside, Box Ghost, Johnny 13 and Kitty were sitting on a bench opposite of Danny and Ember. During the ride, Ember told who the white colored leader of the ghost police was and why he hated Ember so much.

"So, his name is Walker, huh?" Danny asked his girlfriend "But what does he have against you, Ember? You're the heroine of the Ghost-zone."

Ember sighed before frowning "Walker is somebody who doesn't appreciate some community service. He always does this! He makes all kinds of stupid rules like their the law or something, so he can put any ghost he doesn't like behind bars."

The Box Ghost nodded.

Danny felt down as if the whole world had collapsed on him "Oh great. My folks are going to divorce, my sister's a basket case and I'm going to ghost jail along with you guys. Can this day get any worse?"

When Danny asked that, the police van stopped and the back door was opened by one of the police ghosts "Move it!" he ordered.

As all five exited the police van, they saw a large purple colored prison. Several other police ghosts escorted the new prisoners to the large gate that opened as soon as they got close. Inside, they saw hundreds of other ghosts, all wearing prison outfits. All the prisoners stared at the new inmates that were brought in, with a few dozen frowning at Danny and Ember.

Danny gulped as he recognized those ghosts all too well: Skulker (back into this robotic suit after probably rebuilt it), Technus and many other evil ghosts that they'd send back into the Ghost-zone.

Skulker smirked as he crossed his arms while walking over to them but was hold by the other police ghosts that kept the prisoners at bay "Well, if it isn't the young whelp and the flaming rocker who helped us get locked up in this stinking place!" he cracked his knuckles while smirking evilly "Welcome home."

The other evil ghosts smirked, imagining to teach Danny and Ember a little lesson for locking them up in Walker's prison.

Johnny 13 had other plans "Oh no. Like hell I'm gonna get locked up!" he body slammed one of the guards and yelled "Let's get out of here!" but before he and Kitty could run, they were held by seven other guards with three of them pinning Johnny down the ground while Kitty struggled to get loose.

"You're not going anywhere, punk." One of the police ghosts said to Johnny before raising him up.

As Danny and Ember were forced inside a building along with Johnny, Kitty and Box Ghost, Ember told her boyfriend "By the looks of it, dipstick; it CAN get worse."

"I am the Box Ghost!" the Box Ghost yelled.

"Will you stop that!" Danny and Ember angrily yelled simultaneously to him.

Back with Sam and Tucker at Fenton Works…

Tucker had been trying to contact their ghost friends ever since they lost contact when Danny and Ember shortly entered the 'Lost & Found realm'.

"Danny! Ember! Johnny! Talk to me! Anyone!" Tucker called to his PDA, but couldn't get any respond or any image from their webcams.

"It's no use. They can't hear us." Sam said worriedly.

Tucker then buckled his seatbelt as he took the controls of the Specter Speeder "Then we'll just have to go and after them."

When Sam was about to say that it was a crazy idea, an alarm went off at the Ghost portal "Automatic lock engaged!" a computer voice said from the controls and the Ghost portal slammed shut!

Tucker and Sam gasped as they exited the Specter Speeder and went over the controls to get it open again "Hurry Tucker!"

"I'm trying!" Tucker said as he pressed several buttons and switches, but the portal won't open. Then he saw the genetic lock "Oh wait, that's the one."

Tucker pressed his thump on the genetic lock, but a loud buzz was heard.

"Access denied!" the computer voice called.

Sam tried with her thump, but the portal still won't open.

"Access denied!"

"It's no use." Sam said "Only someone in the Fenton family can open it."

"But… we can't wait for Danny's parents to come home and Danny is stuck inside the Ghost-zone!" Tucker reminded Sam.

"I know that!" Sam nearly yelled.

Both her and Tucker thought for a moment. Then the both of them knew who else could open it.

"Jazz!" both said at the same time and then ran out of the lab, looking for Jazz.

An hour later, in the Ghost-Zone (Walker's prison)…

Danny, Ember, Johnny and Kitty were sitting in some chairs, all four now in prison attire and their hands and feet in shackles.

Walker walked around the four of them while calling all the crimes that they've committed, giving him a so-called excuse to lock them up "Johnny 13: Driving far above the speed limit in an unauthorized motorcycle. Insulting a police officer. Assaulting a police officer. Resisting arrest AND destruction of private property." That last one made Johnny feeling proud at himself, but was then scared when Walker grabbed him and yelled "And by destruction of property, I mean MY PRIVITE PROPERTY!"

When Walker lets go of Johnny 13, he smirked as he told Danny and Ember "And I never regretted."

"SILENCE!" Walker yelled before he returned to read out loud from his rule book "Kitty: Insulting a police officer. Assaulting a police officer and unauthorized teleporting male ghosts to an unknown location using your so called 'Banishing Kiss'."

Danny raised an eyebrow as he asked Kitty "Banishing Kiss?"

Kitty nodded "It's a kind of power I use to send men away for the rest of the day." She then narrowed her eyes as she stated why she used her special power which gave Walker an excuse to arrest her "Those stupid police ghosts wouldn't stop staring at my butt!"

Johnny nodded as he added "Nobody disrespects my girlfriend."

Walker continued as he told of Ember's crimes "Ember McLain: Interfering with police business."

Ember immediately protested "Interfering?! I helped you to make this place better for the other ghosts, not for yourself!"

"Multiple accounts of assaulting my police officers." Walker continued.

"They were attacking innocent ghosts!"

"And the list goes on and on." Walker said while flipping through the pages of his own accounting of how much trouble she'd caused him. Then he stopped at one page "But this one takes the cake, McLain!" he leaned over to her with an angry look on his face "You tried to break into MY PRISON to try and free a friend of yours."

Ember grew furious "How many times do I have to tell you?! WULF IS INNOCENT!"

Danny was surprised to hear this from Ember, but admired her boldness to risk her own freedom just to try and free a friend of hers. Though Danny did wander who this 'Wulf' person was.

Walker smirked as he took out his book and reads "You may think he's innocent, but the evidence say otherwise, McLain."

This made Ember even more angrier "You corrupt bastard!"

"I take that as a compliment. Let me remind you of something; other ghosts may think you're a hero to them, McLain, but you forget one important thing: I am the sheriff in the Ghost-Zone. Your judge, executioner, jury, executioner, jailer and if necessary, your executioner."

"You said 'executioner' three times." Danny corrected him

"I like that part of the job." Walker said before reading Danny's file "Danny Phantom. A really interesting case. A human/ghost hybrid." Just then, Danny spots the present he and his friends were looking for. He tried to grab for it but couldn't move. Walker continued reading out loud "Trespassing. Loitering. Creating a disturbance. Harboring convicted ghosts in the human world." Then he added to both his and Ember, Johnny and Kitty's file "Oh, I almost forgot for all four of you: In possession of real-world contraband."

Johnny seemed to notice the present, floating in Walker's office too and quietly called to his shadow "Shadow, cut us loose."

As Shadow appeared, he mischievously floated behind Johnny and was about to untie him, but then Walker took out a remote control, pressing a button and suddenly Johnny got shocked by a big amount of electricity, making him scream in agony and Shadow too as he vanished.

Danny and Ember looked in shock while Kitty was horrified to see Johnny tortured like this "JOHNNY!"

When the electrical shock stopped, Walker smirked as he puts the remote back into his inner pocket "Nice try, Johnny 13, but even your shadow won't get you or your friends out of my grasp. As long as you have that shock band on your ankle, you're powerless to stop me." He then spoke his judgement for all four of them "So, now it's time for another favorite part of my job: your conviction." He closed his rule book and then shouts as he points his finger at Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny 13 "One thousand years!"

All looked shocked that Walker had sentenced them to a thousand years imprisonment. A few seconds later, several police ghosts appeared and dragged the new inmates to their cells while they tried to fight back but were handcuffed pretty tight.

(This is the song 'Bad Boys' from the band from the band Inner Circle)

Bad boys, whatcha want
Watcha want, whatcha gonna do?
When sheriff John Brown come for you
Tell me whatcha wanna do, whatcha gonna do?

Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?

When you were eight and you had bad traits
You go to school and learn the golden rule
So why are you acting like a bloody fool?
If you get hot, you must get cool

Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny were brought into another room where they were forced to provide their fingerprints on a piece of paper where their names were on.

After that, they were photographed one by one. When it was Ember's turn, she gave them the finger while being taken a side-view photo of her.

Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?

You chuck it on that one
You chuck it on this one
You chuck it on your mother
And you chuck it on your father

You chuck it on your brother
And you chuck it on your sister
You chuck it on that one
And you chuck it on me

Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?

Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
Bad boys, bad boys whatcha gonna do?
Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?

Danny, along with Ember and Kitty and Johnny were escorted to the prison cells, along with the other hundreds of ghost inmates. Each one was brought to his/her own cell.

While Kitty was grabbed and thrown into a cell, Johnny tried to go after her but was pulled away by two guards "Get your fucking hands of me you goddamn pigs!" before he was thrown into a cell on the other side.

Danny and Ember were brought a floor up. Just before Ember was being thrown into her own prison cell, she and Danny saw between the few prisoners the ghost genie, Desiree "Huh? Desiree?" Danny wandered.

The female ghost genie noticed them too. But before she could say anything, she was pushed by a guard inside their cells, which was next to each other's. Danny and Ember were thrown into two cells opposite of each other.

As soon as all the inmates were inside their cells, a loud buzz was heard and all the prison cell doors shut automatically.

When the guards were gone and most of the lights went off, a yellow colored ghost who was inside the cell on the other side of Ember's, whispered "Psst! Are you Ember McLain?"

Ember walked to the right side of her cell and whispered back "Yes, I am. Who are you?"

"Terrance. You maybe don't remember me, but you saved me from Skulker's lair some years back."

Ember then knew that the yellow colored ghost names Terrance meant the moment she freed all the ghosts from Skulker's hunting grounds, which was the beginning of her career as the Ghost-Zone's heroine. She smiled at herself for remembering that moment "I never forget that."

Terrance nodded and said "Yeah. I never got the chance to thank you for saving me. So… thank you."

"You're welcome." Ember said while feeling a bit modest. She then wandered and asked him "What did you do that made you locked away in here?"

"Nothing!" Terrance answered before quietly telling why he was arrested and convicted "It happened a month ago. Me and my friends were gathering for a meeting at the Ember-Fanclub, when suddenly Walker and his police ghosts busted in and arrested all of us, telling we were holding a meeting without a license." He then became sad.

This made Ember even more angrier at Walker for locking away innocent ghosts who were just big fans of her "Crooked bastard. He did it just because they preferred me as their protector than that himself." She then felt sorry for Terrance and apologized "I'm sorry. If I'd known that you were locked away in here, I would've got you guys out of this nightmare sooner."

Terrance shook his head "It's okay. We always knew you would come for us one day."

Hearing that the ghosts still had faith in her, despite not knowing that so many innocent were locked away by Walker or having left for the human world for months, made Ember form a hopeful smile.

Meanwhile, Danny was trying to get Desiree's attention and whispered "Desiree?"

But she didn't answer while lying on her bed.

"Desiree? Hey, Desiree?!" Danny whispered a bit louder.

Desiree frowned as she raised herself and walked to the corner of her cell, asking with a mixture of both angry and sadness "What do you want?"

Danny apologized "Sorry, I just… wanted to know how… why you were locked away here?"

That resulted Desiree to snap "How? It's because of your human friend that I'm here!"

Danny raised an eyebrow "What? Sam didn't locked you away in here."

"Maybe not, but because of her wish, I was send back into the Ghost-Zone and was arrested soon after by Walker and his men. All of that wouldn't have happened if your human friend or you and your ghost girlfriend hadn't interfered with me trying to get wishes fulfilled!"

Danny had known about Desiree's background story and what happened when she granted Sam's wish of undoing him and Ember having met, which resulted that everybody in Amity Park would suffer. He had of course forgiven Sam for doing something selfish like that and had accepted that he and Ember were together.

But still… Danny wandered why Desiree was truly arrested and asked her "But how? On what charges did Walker arrest you?"

That had calmed Desiree down a bit and explained "Well he… he said that I hadn't reported to my parool officer for the past 700 years. And don't even know what a parool officer is! When I tried to explain why I wasn't in the Ghost-Zone for so long, he wouldn't listen to me and just thrown me into this prison."

Danny felt for her as he stated "Well, guess you and I are both in the same mess now. I only came to the Ghost-Zone to find back a present that I'd accidentally send here. Now he arrested me for lots of charges that I haven't committed and Ember for just being a hero to all the ghosts."

Desiree had heard stories from some ghosts about Ember heroic deeds in the Ghost-Zone and was kinda surprised that a ghost would risk her own (after)life for the sake of others, but had shown some respect for her.

"Yeah, I… heard about that." Desiree said.

Danny then changed the subject, trying to keep the conversation going "So… granting people's wishes, huh? Sounds like an awesome power, if it wasn't used for evil."

Again, Desiree snapped "Me? Evil?! It is men that who are evil! They misused my gift to grand happiness, only to fulfill their twisted desires!"

A guard then suddenly slammed his stick to Desiree's cell "Silence! Or it's one way trip to solitary for you."

Not wanting to be thrown into solitary confinement again, Desiree nodded heavily, making the guard smirk as he walked away.

After being sure that the guard was gone, Danny whispered and apologized "Sorry, I didn't meant it that way. It's just… I'd heard that you once used it to do some good for people who were suffering. Look, what I'm trying to say is, that I understand that you feel your gift was misused, but… not all men are as evil as you think they are. There are still people who are good."

Desiree was quiet for a moment, thinking about what Danny said as she glanced at her purple glowing hands. But feeling hurt of what she'd experienced, the genie ghost shook her head, not wanting to believe that there is still good in men after having lost all faith in them "No! I won't believe it."

Danny sighed, seeing that his effort was pointless. Then he thought of something else "Okay, let's leave that out for now, but if we work together we can all bust out of here."

That caught Desiree's attention "Go on."

That evening, Amity Park Library…

Jazz, sitting at a table with dozens of pilled up books about psychology, how to handle relationships, marriage counseling and more, she wasn't even close enough to find out she was wrong this whole time about Jack going to Arkansas to apologize to Maddie for forgetting their anniversary.

While she flipped through some pages, Jazz was shaking and had a nearly emotional breakdown "I cannot find it… I cannot find it!"

"Shhhhhh!" a sixteen year old boy, with short brown hair, wearing a white shirt with long sleeves blue jeans, a brown belt and blue-white shoes passed and shushed Jazz as this was a library and everyone supposed to be quiet.

Jazz apologized quietly "Sorry. Sorry." And took another book while opening one of her notepads.

The young man, clearly being the library assistant raised an eyebrow as he took a look at the many books Jazz was seeing and was so overly stressed. After he puts a few books back in place, he walked back to Jazz and asked her "Uhmm… are you okay?"

"No, I'm not okay!" Jazz answered while trying to remain quiet "I've been going hundreds of books about psychology, marriage, relationships and so on, and still I cannot find out where I made a mistake!"

Wandering what she meant by that the young man sat next to her "What kind of mistake? Are you a psychologist? If you are, you must be the youngest I've ever seen."

That compliment made Jazz to look at him, and was feeling modest about it as she blushed "Oh. Hihihihi. No, I'm not a psychologist. I plan to become a brain surgeon on day."

"A brain surgeon? That's something." The young man complimented her, but still hadn't her answer of what mistake she made "Then… what seems to be the problem?"

Jazz sighed after having calmed down "It's my father. He's gone to Arkansas to try and apologize to my mom for forgetting their anniversary and safe their marriage." She then opened one of her notepads "But what I don't understand is that I've observed my dad for year and every piece of evidence say he would never realize to admit he'd made a mistake." Then she starts to panic, which made her hair a mess "What if I was wrong about everything?! What if all this time I was-"

"Shhhhhhh!" the middle aged female librarian shushed even louder.

The young man tried to calm her down "It's okay, I understand. We all make a mistake. Even I can make mistakes from time to time. It's only naturel."

Jazz nearly stuttered "But-but-but-but I was always right about everything and-"

The young men held her hand "It's okay. Just calm down…" he said softly.

Jazz looked at him, then at how he was holding her hand before glancing back at him. Jazz started to blush "Oh… uhm…"

The young man let go of her hand "Oh, sorry."

"No, no, it's okay. Thanks… I… guess I really needed that."

"You're welcome." The young man said before introducing himself "I'm Paul."

He and Jazz shake hands "Jasmine. But my friends call me Jazz." Curious if Paul was working in the library, Jazz asked him "So, you work here?"

Paul shrugged "Yeah, well, only parttime." He then says while taking one of Jazz's books "But at least I can read lots of books to help me study. Or to read normal stories when I have some time off. I uhm… hope to become a scholar someday. So… better take my studies seriously to build a better future for yourself, right?" then he frowned while looking the other way "Other than my parents who don't take me seriously. I feel like… I'm the only mature one in the family."

What Paul told her surprised Jazz. She felt like she just met someone who was… close to what she was. Jazz started to form a sweet smile.

But their moment was disturbed when Tucker and Sam suddenly came into the library and ran over to Jazz, yelling "Jazz!"

"We need to help us with-" Tucker said before interrupted by the librarian.

"SHHHHHHHHHHH!" the middle aged old women shushed even more seriously towards Sam and Tucker, making them nod and quietly continued walking over to Jazz.

Paul raised an eyebrow as he asked Jazz "You know those two?"

Jazz sighed while narrowing her eyes "Yep. Their my little brother's friends." When Sam and Tucker came over to her, Jazz asked annoyingly "What do you guys want? Can't you see that I'm busy here with searching for any flaws in my research?" but then she gave a sweetly smile to Paul "And… disturb our little conversation." Paul formed a little smile.

Tucker tried to tell "Uh… we came to uhmm…"

"We need you to open the Fenton portal for us, in the lab. Like… right now?" Sam finished Tucker's sentence.

Paul was very confused when he heard that and asked Jazz "Fenton portal? What are they talking about?"

Jazz sighed as she admitted with some awkwardness "Honestly… my folks are scientists, sort off, who are into this unhealthy business called… ghost hunting."

That surprised Paul even more as he frowned "Wait a minute. Did you just say: ghost hunting?" then it started to ring some bells inside Paul's head "Wait. Fenton portal? Ghost hunting? You're a Fenton?!"

Feeling even more awkward about this, Jazz chuckled nervously "…Surprise." She then frowned at Sam and Tucker for ruining her moment with a guy she started to like and said under her breath "Thanks a lot, you two."

Paul raised himself from his chair and said as an excuse "I uhm… have some more work to do. I'll… see you later, Jazz." And then left to go back to his job.

Jazz was now angry at Sam and Tucker "I hope you two better have a good excuse for ruining my moment with a great and mature guy."

Sam waved her hands as she stated "Sorry about that, but we need your help to unlock the Fenton portal."

"And why would I do that? Isn't Danny there to do that for you guys?"

Tucker tried to come up with something "Oh… he uhmm… went out with Emily and… we couldn't reach him on his cellphone."

Sam nearly begged "Look, we know that you're not into the whole ghost hunting thing of your parents, but please please please, we ask you to please just open it for us with the genetic lock."

Jazz thought about it for a moment "Hmmmm. I'll open it for you guys," Sam and Tucker smiled bright, but Jazz then held up a few of her notepads and diaries "if you help me go over every excruciating detail of my personal diaries to look for minuscule errors." She finished by placing tons of books, diaries and notepads in Sam and Tucker's hands.

Tucker narrowed his eyes as they left the library and went back to Fenton Works and said to Sam "We cannot go over this in one night. Our friends could be in danger."

"I don't know. I'm still working on it." Sam said before looking down at the many books and other notes in her hands and said sarcastically "Can't wait to go through all the excruciating details about the minds of the Fenton family."

While trying to help Jazz and waiting for her to finally have her open the portal, Sam and Tucker got a call from their parents to come home as it was already passed 10 PM. Seeing they couldn't help Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny up to this point, they both hoped they were okay.

The next day, Spittoon, Arkansas…

(May 10th, 2004)

At the front porch of Alicia's cabin, Maddie was looking out at the woods, while Jack was sitting on a rocking chairs and drinking lemonade, while Alicia, who was sitting at the opposite side, was whittling a stick with a knife.

Jack had been sitting for more than an hour at the rocking chair and drinking lemonade. Though he'd promised to apologized to his wife like never before and trying to safe his marriage, now… he didn't know what to say despite having all night to think about it.

Alicia gave Jack a serious look "Well…"

"Well what?" Jack asked after taking a big sip from his lemonade.

"You've been sitting here sipping lemonade for an hour! If you're gonan apologize to my sister, I suggest you start apologizing!" Alicia said with some anger in her voice.

Maddie glanced at Jack, who was puzzled of what kind of words to use.

"I…" Jack tried to say before his stomach rumbles and clutches it "Hold that thought!" Jack was about to go inside the cabin with a panicked look.

"Ain't no bathroom in there." Alicia said.

Jack then wanted to walk towards the edge of the porch.

"Ain't no outhouse out there!"

Jack looks around with a worried look on his face. He spots some bushes out in the woods and walks towards them.

Watching Jack leaving for the bushes, Maddie sighed "You know… despite he forgot our anniversary… in his own way, he really is trying to apologize."

Alicia shook her head "I don't understand why you think you need him, Maddie look at me! Been single 10 years, and I'm a calm, sensible, independent women and-" then she heard a twig snap and called out to Jack "HEY! DON'T YOU WHIZ ON THAT, JACK FENTON! THAT'S RHUBARB!" she then returned in her calm mood "I've never been happier."

Maddie looked back at where Jack headed to and started to think that maybe Jack does love her more than hunting ghosts, but the anger and sadness of him forgetting their anniversary again and again hurts her still.

Meanwhile, in the Ghost-Zone (Walker's prison)…

As soon as Danny's had told Desiree of what they could do to bust out of Walker's prison, the genie-ghost spread the news to the other evil ghosts in the prison. Most of them were against this as of their recent encounter with both the ghost child and the flaming rocker, but seeing as this was the only way to get out of Walker's prison of hell, they agreed.

Meanwhile, while the four ghosts were forced to do forced labor, with Kitty in the big laundry, Ember doing cleaning and Johnny and Danny taking out the trash, Kitty came out of the laundry and told Danny and Ember "I've talked with several of the inmates in here. You were both right, most of these ghosts are locked in here for no reason at all."

Danny then asked while putting trash cans away "Have you already talked with them about our escape plan?"

"Already done it." Johnny said as he entered together with dozens of ghosts inmates, with some of them being huge fans of Ember. Johnny gave a shrug while smiling "Guess the word spreads fast when their heroine and savior is locked up with them."

Danny, Ember and Kitty smiled as Johnny was able to recruit many of the inmates for the massive escape. But then behind them, Skulker, Technus, Box Ghost, Lunch Lady and the other evil ghost entered. They looked with a angry face at them first, but then Desiree appeared, stating "Okay, child, we're in."

Box Ghost raised his arms as he called "Yes! No one locks me up in this box of iron, for I'm the Box-"

Skulker pushes Box Ghost away, being annoyed by his constantly yelling of 'I am the Box Ghost' and told Danny and Ember "The enemy of my enemy is my friend, for now. But remember, once we're all out of here, I won't hesitate to hunt the two of you again on the other side."

That made Danny and Ember frown at Skulker, as he was still as evil as before when he nearly killed them a month ago. But seeing that now every ghost prisoner was in for the escape, good and evil alike, Danny nodded as he started to tell his plan "Here's what we do…"

Meanwhile, at Fenton Works…

After finally having gone through a whole day at school, and had to make an excuse to Lancer that Danny and Ember were both sick, Sam and Tucker headed towards Danny's house, hoping that Jazz was there so she could open the portal for them.

When the two entered the house, they called Jazz, who was sitting at the table, still busy on finding mistakes in her research "Jazz!" they both called.

Jazz sighed deep as she puts the book down "Still want me to open the portal?"

Sam and Tucker both nodded heavily.

Jazz narrowed her eyes but stood up as she said "Well… you both did helped me out last night. Fine, I'll open that portal for you two." And headed down the basement lab, with Tucker and Sam following her.

Jazz pressed her thump on the genetic scanner, making a computer voice saying while some lights flashed green "Access granted! Opening Ghost Portal!"

As soon as the Fenton portal was opened, Jazz glanced at Sam and Tucker, and advised "You two got to stop burry your heads into my parents ghost hunting thing. It's not healthy." But seeing they weren't listening, Jazz sighed and was about to go upstairs, but stopped and asked Sam and Tucker, who were this close to enter the Specter Speeder "Say, did anyone see Danny? I haven't seen him since yesterday?"

Sam quickly made an excuse "Oh… he uhm… went over to Emily's place, helping her studying chemistry."

This confused Jazz and tapped her chin "That's strange. I thought he usually takes her to our house to help her study." But then she began to panic and starts crying, thinking she made another mistake "Oh no. I was wrong again!" and went up the stairs.

Sam and Tucker exchanged a look for a moment before they jumped into the Specter Speeder "You drive." Sam said as she buckled her seatbelt.

Tucker gave a nod as he grabbed the controls and thrusts forward, making the Specter Speeder going fast into the portal, entering the Ghost-Zone to rescue their ghost friends.

Back with Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny 13…

"Chow time!" a police guard shouted as Danny, along with his girlfriend and ghost friends were escorted to the prison cafeteria. The same guard shoves Danny with his green pole "Move it out!"

Danny frowned back at him while going in further. Inside the cafeteria, all the inmates were eating their food.

Terrance was sitting at a table in the corner with some of Ember's fans, giving a small smile and a thumps up to Ember, showing her that their ready for the escape plan.

Danny saw Skulker sitting at a table in the middle, together with Box Ghost, Desiree and Technus. Skulker frowned at Danny, but gave him a nod that he was ready for the plan. Desiree too gave a nod while forming a small smile.

Trying to act normally, Danny took a trey and stood behind Johnny, with Ember and Kitty behind him.

"Now?" Johnny whispered to Danny while being served some green substance on his trey.

"Wait till I've been served." Danny whispered back. Johnny gave a small nod, not wanting to cause any suspicion by the guards who kept their eye on them.

When it was Danny's turn, he saw that the ghost who was serving the food was the Lunch Lady ghost, who asked with her kind voice while serving the same food on Danny's trey "Can I get anything else, dear? Coffee? Pudding?" then she turned into her angry mode "An extra helping of DOOM?!"

Not being scared of the Lunch Lady ghost anymore, Danny just narrowed his eyes as he glanced down the awful food on his trey before glancing back at the Lunch Lady ghost "You know what? Just give me some salt and pepper."

The Lunch Lady looked at him for a couple of seconds before saying back in her sweet voice "Okay." And puts two small cans of salt and pepper on his trey.

While it was Ember's turn to have some food on her trey, Johnny stopped Danny in his tracks, looking furious (but that was part of the act for their escape) "This is all your fault, punk! If you just hadn't blasted that stupid present into the portal, we wouldn't be stuck in Walker's prison by now!"

"My fault!?" Danny yelled back, but went along with the act "You're the one who came up with this brilliant idea to clean the lab using ghost rays!"

Ember joined in and yelled while standing next to Danny "He's right! Everything that you come up with always ends in disaster!"

Kitty pushed Ember, being angered of how Ember spoke to her boyfriend like that "Hey, don't you dare to talk to my boyfriend like that!"

"Don't push me, Kitty!" Ember yelled before pushing her back.

Johnny grabbed Danny by the collar "I'm gonna beat the crap out of you, Phantom!" and raised his fist.

"Not before I smack out your teeth!" Danny yelled as he kicked Johnny in the stomach, releasing himself from his grip.

While theirs and Ember and Kitty's fake fight went on, all the other ghosts around them watched the fight unfold and raised their hands while cheering "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!"

Some punching and kick sounds were heard before Danny flung out of the crowd and falls on one of the tables, breaking it. Johnny lunges into Danny but was grabbed by him and both rolled across the prison cafeteria while faking their punching and kicking. Meanwhile, Kitty pulled hard on Ember's hair, making her to grab a pile of treys and threw them on Kitty's head before lunging into her and punched and scratched Kitty's face before she grabbed her and both kept faking their fight while rolling across the cafeteria, near Johnny and Danny who kept fighting.

Four police ghosts quickly arrived and stood before the four ghosts with their green sticks at hand, while the other guards kept the other inmates at a distance.

Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny stopped their fight as they shockingly saw the guards, ready to take them in while one smirked and said "Looks like we got a few more for solitary."

Right when they were ready to take them in, Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny frowned and fly up to the four of them and punches them to the wall, grabbing their green sticks!

"Now!" Danny calls as he tosses his green stick towards Skulker, who grabbed it.

"ATTACK!" Skulker yells as he raises his arms and all of prisoners attacked the guards, who were overwhelmed by this sudden surprise attack by the inmates and were either pinned down or being beaten up.

Skulker quickly used the green pole shoots several lasers at the guards above, restraining them around their chest and arms after knocking out several guards.

Box Ghost and Technus body slammed two more guards, making them crash to a counter where Desiree grabs two buckets and slams them over the guard's heads.

Terrance and a few of Ember's fans pinned down a guard to the ground while they punched and kicked him.

Danny and Ember both fought several guards, knocking them out with ease while Johnny and Kitty fired more lasers using the green poles and restrained more guards!

Suddenly, a group of 6 heavily armed guards shoots out lasers from their poles in sequence, restraining several inmates before they used their shields to block the doorway and protect themselves.

That was when the Lunch Lady ghost flies up to them with a tray of red apples, asking with her sweet voice "Can I offer you gentlemen some apples?"

Two guards exchanged a confused look before shake their heads.

This infuriated the Lunch Lady "Then dine on my FURY!" in her hands, she made appear some light, forming a spear that turned into a massive large chicken drumstick! All the guards fled in terror before the wall gets crushed by the impact of the giant summoned drumstick.

All the inmates, including Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny ran out of the cafeteria and charged at the remaining guards, either beating them up or restraining them using the green poles.

When they defeated the last of the guards, everyone ran to the big steel doorway that would lead them outside. Terrance grabbed one of the restrained police ghost's keys and used them to open the steel doorway, making all the inmates cheer as some flew away out of the prison.

Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny 13 however ran into a different hallway, but were called back by Skulker "You're going the wrong way!"

All four stopped and glanced at the evil ghosts and the other inmates.

Lunch Lady nodded "Yes sweetie, you're supposed to riot with the guards here," then she went to her anger mode "AND FACE YOUR DOOM OUT THERE!" then she returned to her sweet voice and offered "Pie?" and held up a pie.

Danny shook while friendly decline "No thanks."

Ember gave a serious look "Yeah, we still have some unfinished business with the warden."

The Lunch Lady ghost looked at them for a few seconds, before giving a shrug "Okay." And flew out with some of the other inmates.

Terrance and a few of Ember's fans flew back and thanked their heroine and her friends "Thank you for helping us… all of you. Without you guys, we wouldn't have the courage to finally stand up against Walker."

Ember smiled as she gave him a wink "Not a problem. Go along now, before Walker captures you guys again."

Terrance nodded and flew away with the rest of Ember's Fanclub.

Skulker then said with a smirk on his face before leaving "Good luck. And I look forward to hunting you, on the other side."

That made the four of them frown at the ghost hunter, with Danny saying with some built up anger "And we look forward to kick your ass on the other side, again."

Skulker frowned, before smirking "Until then, ghost child." And flew out.

Desiree floated in midair for a moment, glancing down at Danny and Ember, who too looked at her. Desiree smiled before saying "Well… see ya." And flew away.

With all the inmates freed, Danny exchanged a glance with his girlfriend and his two ghost friends, asking with a smirk "Ready to take the fight to Walker?"

All three were eager to teach the crooked ghost warden a lesson, with Kitty cracking her knuckles while mischievously smiling "Hell yeah."

"It's payback time, babypop." Ember said to her boyfriend, ready to finally teach Walker a some lessons.

They all headed out, but not before Ember took back her guitar that was confiscated and all dressed back into their own clothes instead of the prisoner outfits.

Inside Walker's office, Walker himself angrily slammed his fist on his desk while talking on a PA microphone "Guards, what's going on down there? Somebody answer me!"

Suddenly, Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny kicked the door open, with Danny saying "How about saying 'please'? Saying 'please' is a rule."

That surprised Walker "It is?" he asked before checking his rulebook, but was then slammed shut by Johnny.

"It is now." Johnny said before punching Walker hard in the face, making him fall backwards!

While Walker tried to get up, he was surprised as Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny, who rips the shock band of his ankle, making Shadow appear.

"It's payback time, Walker." Ember said while frowning and before she and the others simultaneously punched Walker hard in the face.

Danny, Ember, Kitty and Johnny delivered several fierce punches and kicks at Walker, with Ember using her guitar to release a pink shockwave after hitting the strings hard as she yelled "This is for all the innocent ghosts you locked away!"

Walker tried all he could to defend himself, but with the combined strength of all four ghosts, he was powerless to stop them.

They continued beating up Walker for minutes, till he fell on the floor, having broken several bones and could barely move. As he grunted, Danny pressed his boot on his face and leaned close to him with a serious look on his face "Now let me tell you a rule of Danny Phantom, you asshole: You mess with either me or my friends, you pay the consequences."

For the first time in a long time, Walker was showing fear.

Suddenly, the Specter Speeder phases through the wall, making everyone look surprised to see Sam and Tucker inside it.

"Tucker? Sam? How'd you get in here all of the sudden?" Danny asked.

Tucker answered with a smile "Check it out! Real-world stuff just phases through everything in here."

"In the Ghost-Zone, we're the ghost!" Sam added with a smile.

"We're the ghosts?" Danny repeats in confusion, but then smirks as he transforms back to his human form, walked to where the present was floating in midair and took it. He then gave an embarrassed look to his girlfriend and ghost friends "If I'd known about this earlier, I would have busted ourselves out of this prison yesterday."

Ember gave a shrug "That's okay. At least we got the chance to kick Walker's ass."

Walker tried to grab Danny by his feet but his hand phases through, making him unable to grab him "Why can't I…?" he groaned in pain

"Grab me?" Danny finished his sentence "Maybe you should have paid better attention to the file you have of me. I'm not just a ghost, I'm human. Your rules don't apply." And then walks up to the Specter Speeder with the present and entered it together with Kitty and Johnny 13, while Shadow returned to him.

Ember however stayed for a little while longer and grabbed Walker by his collar and raised him up as she angrily yells at him while her hair flared up "Listen here, Walker! If I notice you trying to hurt innocent ghosts or locking them again for no reason at all, you'll regret the day you died!" and then threw him through the office, making him hit the wall and fell on the floor.

Ember entered the Specter Speeder, with Kitty giving Walker the finger as the speeder phases through a wall.

Walker sat on his knees. He was defeated, humiliated… and then screamed his lungs out in anger "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"

That same evening, in Spittoon, Arkansas…

Maddie was sitting on a bench, on the porch of Alicia's cottage. Maddie was drinking some tea while thinking about how she reacted towards her husband when he forgot their anniversary for the eighteenth time. She sadly looked down, thinking that though Jack can forget things sometimes, he'd always been loyal to her, loves her with all his heart and is a great father to their children. But the pain of not remembering their most beautiful day of their marriage was too much for her. And though she did say she wanted to split and go her own way, she was doubting if it's the right decision.

As she takes a sip from her tea, Maddie is suddenly surprised when Jack appears "Why, hey there!" Maddie was surprised to see Jack wearing a blue overalls over his orange jumpsuit and his hair is now in a large bun at the front of his head. He leans over while holding out some flowers "Pretty young thang."

Maddie raised an eyebrow at him "Jack Fenton, what on earth are you doing?"

"Sweet talking you, proving I can step away from work and pay attention to our relationship." Jack states as this was his way to make their marriage work. He then takes out a slip from his overalls pocket and reads out loud with a smile "You've got a smile that shines like swamp gas in the moonlight."

That made Jack look confused at what said on the slip before glancing to where three men from the town, who Jack met at the General Store, hide behind some bushes and gave Jack a thumps up as the words on the slip were perfect to win his wife back over.

Jack returned on reading more from the slip "Uh… Your mind twinkles like the moon," Jack looks them more confused as he reads "off the bumper of my pick-em-up truck? And…" realizing that all these 'flirting words' sounded stupid, made Jack to sigh "Oh, this is stupid."

Maddie began to frown "What's stupid, Jack? Anything besides hunting ghosts, which is more important to you than our anniversary?"

"No," Jack said while he fuzzes his hair back to normal "but pretending to be something I'm not is." He then started to say how sorry he was "Maddy, you know I can be a fool, and you know that I can forget things," he then sat on one knee "but the one thing you know more than anything even more than that ghosts exist and that your sister is a bitter old bat, is that I love you, baby, and from the bottom of my heart… I will do anything to make you happy again, to make up all the times I forget our anniversary."

Maddie was touched by Jack's words, seeing how sorry he is and is willing to make it up "Oh, Jack…"

"And, I wanted to give you…" Jack then suddenly realized that he'd left the present he wanted to give to Maddie at home and hits his face with his hand of how stupid he is "Aw, crud."

Maddie narrowed her eyes as she sighed, as she'd clearly expected this from Jack "You… forgot the present, didn't you?"

Alicia then came out of the cottage with her hands on her hips, having heard everything "Told you he was a fool." She says as she was right about her sister's soon to be ex-husband is.

Maddie glances back at Jack, who tried to make it up "Maddie, I'm sorry, I…"

Maddie sighs sadly and was about to say "Jack… I'm sorry but, maybe it's truly best if we-"

"WAIT!" Danny called out, making Jack, Maddie and Alicia looking up, seeing Danny and Jazz coming down at them with parachutes. When he and his sister landed safely, Danny ran over to his father while stating to his mother and handed over the present to him "Dad didn't forgot your anniversary gift. He left it home… uh, so the mosquitoes wouldn't get it." he finished with an excuse.

When Jack took the present, he was thankful that his son brought the present to him and whispered "Good boy. You're getting a raise on your allowance for this."

That Danny was going to have a raise on his allowance made him smile "Sweet."

Jack came close to Maddie, sitting on one knee again and handed over the present to her "Happy anniversary, baby!" he then told again how sorry he is "I'm so very sorry for all the times I've forgotten our anniversary. I promise you that from this day forward, I will never, ever forget our anniversary ever again and do anything to make it up to you." He then asked with a bit of nervousness "If you… still want it, of course?"

Maddie took the present and looked at it, before glancing back at her husband. She sighs "Well… it's going to take some time to forgive you…" but then she gave a small smile "But I'm willing to give it another shot, Jack."

Jack and Maddie embraced each other.

Danny then asked "So… does this mean you guys aren't getting a divorce?"

Jack and Maddie looked at their son, before glancing back at each other, with Maddie saying "We're going to try to make it work again."

Jack nodded as he suggested "Yes, and… if it makes you happy, we can always go for marriage counseling? If you want?"

Maddie thought about it for a moment, before saying with a shrug "Well… it's a start." She then smiled again and hugged Jack again.

Maddie then suddenly remembers as a honking was heard "Oh, I almost forgot." All turn around, seeing a red pick-up truck full of people drives up. All were cheering and waving, which made Danny and Jazz confused.

"Surprise!" Maddie and Jack both called to Alicia as suddenly a giant poster unravels from Alicia's cottage, saying; 'A DECADE OF DIVORCE'. More people joined in as they cheered for Alicia.

"A party!" Alicia says as how surprised she was before tearing with happiness to her sister "For the tenth anniversary of my divorce! You remembered!"

"Well, sure!" Maddie says, before showing a man sitting on a platform of the dunk tank over a pool of water "I even convinced your ex-husband to come."

Alicia's ex-husband frowned while crossing his arms, feeling bad for being dragged into the annual divorce party of his ex-wife, but fell soon in the water as one of the Spittoon citizens tossed a pot roast on the target and hit it, making the others laugh.

As the party went on, with lots of Southern music being played, Jack asked Maddie "Well, aren't you going to open the present?"

Maddie smiles and rip the present up and open it, with the Box Ghost flying out of it and yelled "I am the Box Ghost!" but as soon as he saw it were the same two ghost hunters that nearly got him, he flew away in terror.

Maddie and Jack chase him "GHOST!" both yelled simultaneously.

Danny smiled to see he was successful of saving his parents marriage. He glanced at Jazz, who was still confused over that their father apologized despite her observations said differently "I still don't understand. Dad doesn't apologize! Dad doesn't understand what a goof he can be!"

Danny puts his hand on her shoulder "Jazz, I think it's sometimes okay to be wrong about something. What I learned is that when you make a mistake… you learn from it."

Jazz looked at one of her notebooks before remembering what Paul said to her back in the library. She sighs before smiling and closes the book, figuring that being wrong sometimes is okay "You know what, you're right."

The next day, Fenton Works…

(May 11th, 2004)

A taxi stopped in front of the Fenton residence. Jack and Maddie got out of the taxi, alongside with Danny and Jazz.

While Maddie paid the taxi driver, Jack brought some of the suitcases inside.

Danny checked the time and told his father "I should get going. I promised to meet with Emily at her place."

Jack smiled as he shrugs "Alright, son. But be home on time, alright?"

Danny nodded and went out to meet his girlfriend, and tell her and Kitty and Johnny that his parents aren't going to divorce.

Just then, while Jazz was about to carry her mother's suitcase inside the house, she was suddenly approached by someone else who cleared his throat.

Jazz looked back and saw it was Paul from the library "Paul? What are you doing here?"

Paul held his hands behind his head and said while looking down "I uhm… came here to say I'm sorry for ditching you at the library two days ago. I know it was kind of surprising that you're a Fenton, considering your parents reputation of their ghost believes, but…"

"But what?" Jazz wandered.

"But I figured that I don't care about that, Jazz. When we met… you showed to me you weren't like what I heard about your family, and… I still want to hang out of you." That made Jazz form a sweet smile while Paul asked with a bit of shyness "So, I was wondering if you… I don't know… ever want to come by the library to meet up again, like talking or-"

"I'd love too." Jazz answered immediately, making Paul to smile at her too. She took a slip and wrote her phone number on it and gave it to Paul "Here's my number."

"Uh… great!" Paul said before the two glanced at each other for a moment, till Paul said "I… should be going. I don't want to be late at the library for my parttime job." Jazz gave a nod in understanding before Paul said his goodbyes before going "See you later."

Jazz smiled while watching Paul going. She sure wanted to get to know Paul even better and going to the library for 'studying' would be perfect to meet him as he works there.

That evening, in a mansion somewhere in Wisconsin…

Three vulture ghosts appeared phased inside a lab. In the middle of the lab, a vampiric looking ghost with mostly white clothing and a white cape. The ghost turned himself, facing the vultures.

One of the vulture ghosts asked "What is it you need?"

The vampiric ghost gave him a piece of a torn apart photo, showing a younger Jack Fanton and instructed "I want the three of you to find Jack Fenton. And eliminate him."

The three vulture ghosts gave a short glance to each other before giving a nod and flew up, phasing through the ceiling and left to search and destroy Jack Fenton.

Meanwhile, the vampiric ghost floated towards a table where a framed picture of him and Maddie at college, with the top-right corner with Jack's face teared off. The vampiric ghost smirks evilly "Soon, Maddie, Jack will be out of the way and you will finally be mine, as it should be. Hahahahahaha! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

A/N: Hello everyone! First of all, I want to apologize to all of you for the insanely long waiting for this chapter. I suddenly came up with ideas for a few new stories that I couldn't resist but to write them first before I wrote this one. I hope you all can understand that?

I thought it would be nice to have Wulf being a friend of Ember. As for the OC character, Paul, he will also later one play a big role in the story (but I'm keeping the details as a surprise).

And if you guessed it right, then yes, 'Bitter Reunions' is going to be the next chapter where Danny will finally meets his archnemesis. And it's a promise that I'm going to work in this one as soon as possible, after I've helped a friend of mine with a few of his stories.

Oh! And when I'll be working on the next chapter 'Bitter Reunions', I'm also be going to work on a new Danny Phantom fanfic series that I've been planning to do for some time. And what is it, if you may ask? It is a series of one-shots, calling it 'Danny's other choice' where I'm going to explore what would have happened if Danny hadn't ended up with Sam, but with a different girl in the series. More info will follow soon when I'm going to post it ;)

So… don't forget to like and review and I'll see you all soon in the next chapter!

See ya!
