Barry, Thor, Vision, Pietro, and Tony were all at the core when Wanda, Clint, Frost and Steve arrived at the church.

"Are you ok?" Barry asked walking up to Wanda.

"Fine, what about you?" Wanda asked back, and as Barry was going to respond Pietro interrupted the conversation.

"Stop flirting with my sister," Pietro said, getting an odd look from Barry and a flustered one from Wanda.

"Alright kids, less arguing, more destroy tin cans," Tony quipped. "Romanoff. You and Banner better not be playing 'hide the zucchini'," Tony added to his quipping streak.

"Relax shell-head, not all of us can fly," Nat said through the comms as a few minutes later Nat ran up out of a dump truck. "What's the drill?" she asked.

"That's the drill," Tony said, pointing at the machine in the centre of the church. "If Ultron gets a hand on the core, we lose," Tony explained. When suddenly Hulk arrived destroying the bots.

And followed by him was Ultron.

"Is that the best you can do?" Thor yelled out as Ultron raised a hand calling his army of legions behind him.

"You just had to ask," Barry sighed.

"This is the best I can do," Ultron responded, his arms spread, acting like a god. "This is exactly what I wanted," Ultron told the Avengers. "All of you, against all of me. How can you possibly hope to stop me?" Ultron asked.

"Well, like the old man said," Tony said looking at Steve, "together."

And with that Hulk let out a fearsome roar, as the bots ran full speed and the Avenger. And with that, everyone gave their best to destroy the bots and stop them from touching the machine.

Barry and Pietro sped around the church, destroying bots that were in their way.

Wanda used her powers to destroy the bots.

Frost froze the bots before shattering them down. While Steve, Nat and Clint used their weapons to shatter the bots.

Vision, Thor and Tony all flew up, shooting their own individual blasts at the bots destroying them.

While Hulk simply 'smashed' the bots down.

That was until Ultron flew in trying to tackle Vision. Who shot back a laser beam, knocking him down outside the church. Vision, Tony and Thor used their own individual laser beams to knock Ultron down.

Meanwhile Barry sped around them charging up a lightning bolt. Barry ran up to Ultron and threw the lightning at him. Causing him to explode into multiple pieces. Flying all over the place.

"Crap," Barry groaned as Vision, Thor and Tony all stopped. As Barry collapsed on his ass. "That took a lot out of me," Barry sighed before he looked up, releasing the Ultron bots were trying to get of the flying rock.

"Shit, they're trying to leave the city," Barry called out alarmed.

"We can't let them, not even one, Rhodey," Tony said.

"I'm on it," Rhodey said as he flew up the side of the flying rock. Shooting all of the bots trying to escape. "Oh no, I didn't say you could leave," Rhodey joked as he destroyed more of the bots.

"War Machine coming at you? Right…" Rhodey was cut off by the sight of Vision flying around with Rhodey destroying the bots with his laser and phasing ability.

"Okay, what?" Rhodey asked, confused.

--

"We gotta move out. Even I can tell the air is getting thin," Steve explained to the remaining Avengers. "You get to the lifeboats, I'll sweep for stragglers. Be right behind you," Steve explained.

"What about the core?" Barry asked.

"I'll protect it," Wanda said.

"No, you can't," Barry responded.

"Barry, it's my job," Wanda told Barry.

"Well if you're staying then so am I," Barry told Wanda who went to shake her head but was stopped by Barry. "Wanda, it's my job too," Barry said smiling as Wanda chuckled back.

"Cap," Barry said, turning to Steve. "I'll help look for people with you," Barry said before turning his head to Frost. "Go with Clint and Nat, because there are people up there that need your help," Barry explained as Frost nodded slowly.

"Pietro, we're gonna need some help," Barry said, touching his ear piece as he sped off with Steve. While Nat, Clint and Frost ran off leaving Wanda alone.

--

"Boss, power levels are way below…." FRIDAY tried to inform Tony as he flew next to the flying rock.

"Reroute everything. We get one shot at this," Tony told FRIDAY.

--

The rebuilding form of Ultron landed near a group of people as Clint drove a car near the group with Nat next to him. "I know what I need to do. The dining room. If I knock out that east wall, it'd make a nice workspace for Laura, huh?" Clint asked, referring to his wife.

"Put up some baffling. She can't hear the kids around. What do you think?" Clint asked Nat.

"You guys always eat in the kitsch anyway," Nat pointed out.

"No one eats in a dining room," Clint remarked as they pulled up seeing people rushing to the lifeboats. "We don't have a lot of time," Clint said, getting out of the car.

"So get your ass on a boat," Nat told Clint.

-

Clint ran up to the lifeboats seeing Steve helping people into the lifeboats. "You're safe now. You're gonna be okay. Buckle up," Steve told a woman. As Clint reached the top when he heard a woman's screams from the lifeboat.

"Costel!" A woman named Zrinka screamed. "We were in the market, Costel!" she explained to Clint, as he looked out seeing a boy stuck down in a hole as Clint sighed looking down. Before he ran out.

--

Tony flew directly under the flying rock, using his laser to cut a hole on the metal bottom. "Thor, I'm gonna need you back in the church."

-

"Is this the last of them?" Thor asked as people ran past him to the lifeboats.

"Yeah. Everyone else is on the carrier," Steve said.

"Y'know, this works, we maybe don't walk away." Tony told the two.

"Maybe not," Thor sighed as he looked at the people running towards the lifeboats.

--

Nat was extending her hand to the Hulk who slowly began to raise his own hand when suddenly bullets flew at the two. As Hulk let out a roar as he saw the flying quinjet above them as Ultron slowly rebuilt himself after Barry's lightning bolt.

"I got no strings, so I have fun. I'm not tied up to anyone," Ultron sang.

--

Clint ran over to the little boy, Costel. Extending his hands out. "Come on. Time to go," Clint said as he picked up the boy.

And at the same time, Ultron showed up in the quinjet. And began firing at the Avengers.

"Clint!!!!!!" Barry screamed seeing Clint spin around covering the child. Barry went to speed off to cover the two when Barry felt a blast of wind rush past him.

And when Barry arrived where he was going to cover Clint.

He was holding Pietro.

Pietro's bullet riddled body.

"You didn't see that coming," Pietro told Clint before turning to Barry.

"I guess we finally know who the fastest man alive is," Pietro chuckled as he collapsed in Barry's arms, dying.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, hey, hey, Pietro," Barry said as he looked down at his friend's corpse.

And in the church. Wanda let out a scream of pain as she collapsed to her knees. Letting her powers go wild destroying the bots.

"Hey no, no, no, no, please not again," Barry sobbed, holding his friend's body in his arms as Steve placed a hand on Barry's shoulder. "I'm sorry son," Steve said.

"Where is it?" Barry asked as he lowered Pietro down onto the floor.

"What?" Steve asked, confused.

"Where is Ultron?" Barry growled, his eyes red from crying.

Steve turned his head to the quinjet flying away. When suddenly the figure of the Hulk jumped out onto the quinjet.

And a grey body was thrown out of the jet.

"Go," Barry said as he stood up walking off slightly. "Get to the lifeboat, Wanda and I will be back in time," Barry said before speeding off.

-

Wanda was devastated. Her brother was dead. The only family she had left was torn from her.

Wanda, griefing, didn't hear Barry speed in behind her. "Wanda," Barry said in sorrow as he walked up to his friend.

Wanda immediately jumped into Barry's arms as he cried into his chest as Barry rested his chin on Wanda's head. Patting her back.

"I'm sorry," Barry remarked as he pulled back revealing Wanda's face with her dark brown locks stuck to her face. "I know where Ultron is," Barry said as Wanda looked up at him. She slowly nodded, as Barry sped off with Wanda in his arms.

-

Inside an empty train cart sat the broken fork of Ultron as Barry let Wanda walk up to Ultron.

"Wanda," Ultron said, slightly surprised. "If you stay here, you'll die," Ultron warned.

"I just did," Wanda told Ultron. "Do you know how it felt?" Wanda asked, when she suddenly used her powers to start pulling at the chest, before she yanked out what seemed to be a metallic like heart into her head. "It felt like that," Wanda remarked.

And with that the sound of a machine powering down echoed through the train cart. As Barry looked at Wanda, he wrapped his arms around her. As he sped off for the nearest lifeboat.

--

"Where the hell are Barry and Wanda?" Frost asked as the last of the people got onto the lifeboat.

"Barry said they would be her…" Steve was cut off by the rock rumbling. As the two jumped onto the lifeboat. A familiar streak ran up towards the lifeboat.

"It's Barry!!!!!!" Frost yelled as the island began to drop.

"They won't make it!!!!" Steve yelled out.

"Oh yes they will!!!!" Frost grunted as she created a small ice ramp.

As Barry ran up to the ramp as the island began to slowly drop for him. Barry jumped up onto the ice ramp as he ran up as he and Wanda were thrown against a wall getting onto the lifeboat.

"Wanda!!!" Frost yelled out running over to her friend while Steve walked up to Barry.

"You good kid?" Steve asked, extending a hand which Barry took.

"Yeah," Barry sighed, taking Steve's hand.

--

Later, after Sokovia was destroyed, after the Hulk seemingly took a quinjet flying it away.

The Vision landed down onto the ground seeing an Ultron bot with its eyes glowing red, signaling Ultron was in control.

"You're afraid," Vision said.

"Of you?" Ultron asked, slightly offended.

"Of death," Vision continued. "You're the last one."

"You were supposed to be the last. Stark asked for a saviour and settled for a slave," Ultron complained.

"I suppose we are both disappointments," Vision remarked, causing Ultron to laugh.

"I suppose we are," Ultron admitted.

"Humans are odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites and try to control what won't be," Vision explained as Ultron seemed sort of moved from this statement. "But there is grace in their failings. I think you missed that."

"They're doomed," Ultron said, looking around him.

"Maybe so. But a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts," Vision said, getting an odd look from Ultron. "It's a privilege to be among them," Vision said.

"You're unbearably naive," Ultron told him.

"Well," Vision said, looking up at Ultron. "I was born yesterday," Vision said as Ultron jumped up charging at him as Vision shot his laser at Ultron destroying him.

2 Months Later

After the battle Clint stood outside the new Avengers compound wearing a simple black shirt with a red and white button up and a pair of jeans.

"Alright, you ready?" Barry asked, walking up to Clint wearing his newly repaired Flash suit.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Clint said as the two stood next to one another.

"You sure you won't throw up?" Barry asked, chuckling as Clint rolled his eyes.

"I have an iron stomach just to let you know smartass," Clint groaned.

"Really?" Barry asked sarcastically as he put his mask on. "You sure you ain't getting that confused with Stark?" Barry asked, smiling.

"Just to let you know, you may run faster than me. But if I catch up to you, you are never getting away," Clint said bluntly, causing Barry to start full on laughing.

"Right!" Barry said crying from laughter as Clint joined in as well.

"Yeah, but now all I want is to go home and see my family," Clint said as Barry stopped laughing and smiled at Clint.

"Yeah, that is the best life," Barry sighed.

"You'll get there," Clint said, patting Barry on the back.

"Let's get out of here," Barry said as he sped off with Clint.

-

Out at Clint's farm Barry and Clint arrived at the front of Clint's house. As Clint started walking up to the door of the house. Barry stood back hesitant before Clint turned around.

"Come on in," Clint said smiling as Barry walked up behind as Clint opened the door as the two walked in. Clint's wife, Laura, in disbelief ran up hugging Clint as she looked at Barry over Clint's shoulder.

"Thank you for bringing him back to us," she thanked Barry.

"He gave me a family so I brought him back to his," Barry responded before hearing the voice of three children.

"Dad!!!!" the children yelled out, all grabbing onto Clint.

"Hey, Dad's home again," Clint said, hugging his three children.

"Are you staying home this time?" his youngest child and only daughter asked causing Clint to smile.

"Yeah," Clint said, nodding.

"Whoah! A superhero!!!" Clint's oldest son yelled out pointing at Barry who turned around at the door. Before releasing it was him who was being called a superhero.

"Yeah," Clint said standing up next to Barry. "That is my son Oliver," Clint said pointing down to his oldest.

"Oh, hey, Ollie," Barry said, bending down at the 11 Year old boy with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Before Barry turned around looking at Clint. "I can call him Ollie right?" Barry asked, getting a chuckle from Clint and Laura.

Suddenly Barry felt his phone goijgrry felt his phone go off in his pocket. As Barry pulled out his phone he saw that he was Steve with an alarm for an Avengers meeting.

"Ah I'm sorry guys I gotta go, Avengers meeting has been called," Barry sighed.

"Oh do you have to go?" Asked Clint's second oldest son Cooper.

"Yeah can't you stay?" Clint's daughter Lila asked.

"I'd love to, but when you're a superhero. You have all those boring meetings," Barry groaned, making a bored face getting a laugh from the kids. "I'll see you all another time," Barry told the kids turning around to Clint.

"See ya later Clint," Barry said hugging Clint, who returned to hug.

"See you too," Clint said as Barry walked over to the door. "Hey Barry! Make sure to punch Stark for me," Clint jokes as Barry turned around smiling as he sped off.

--

"The rules have changed," Steve said as he, Tony and Thor walked through the halls of the new Avengers compound.

"We're dealing with something new," Tony said.

"Oh the Vision is artificial intelligence," Steve said.

"A machine," Tony added.

"So it doesn't count," Steve said.

"No, it's not like a person lifting the hammer," Tony said as Steve pointed at Tony.

"Right, different rules for us," Steve said, pointing at himself.

"Nice guy. Artificial," Tony said.

"Thank you," Steve said.

"He can wield the hammer. He can keep the mind stone," Thor said. "It's safe with the Vision. And these days, safe is in short supply," Thor explained as he stared off.

"But if you put the hammer in an elevator," Steve said, waiting for Tony.

"It would still go up," Tony said.

"Elevator's not worthy," Steve said looking down.

"I'm gonna miss these little talks of ours," Thor said, placing a hand on Tony's shoulder.

"Not if you don't leave," Tony suggested.

"I have no choice," Thor said as the three continued walking. "The mind stone is the fourth of the Infinity Stones to show up in the last few years. It's not a coincidence," Thor explained as the three walked out of the compound.

"Someone has been playing an intricate game and has made pawns of us. And once all these pieces are in position," Thor said.

"Triple Yahtzee," Tony said.

"You think you can find out what's coming?" Steve asked.

"I do. Besides this one," Thor said, placing up a hand stopping Tony from moving. "There's nothing that can't be explained," Thor said nodding as he raised his arm up calling down the bifrost as he sucked up, leaving an Asgardian symbol on the lawn.

"That man has no regard for lawn maintenance," Tony said as he and Steve turned around. "I'm gonna miss him, though. And you're gonna miss me. There's gonna be a lot of manful tears," Tony joked as he unlocked his car.

"I will miss you, Tony," Steve told Tony.

"Yeah?" Tony asked as his orange car drove itself up to Tony. "Well, it's time for me to tap out. Maybe take a page out of Barton's book," Tony suggested. "Build Pepper a farm, hope nobody blows it up. Give my kid the best life."

"The simple life," Steve said.

"You'll get there one day," Tony told Steve.

"I don't know. Family, stability. The guy who wanted all that went in the ice 75 years ago. I think someone else came out," Steve said before looking at Tony again. "And when did you have a kid?"

"Oh," Tony said, letting out a chuckle. "She's kind of a miracle, fell from the sky," Tony said smiling as he climbed in his car. Driving off.

--

Inside the Avengers compound Nat stood staring at a wall.

"You wanna keep staring at the wall, or do you wanna go to work?" Steve asked, causing Nat to turn around. "I mean, it's a pretty interesting wall," Steve said as Nat walked up to him.

"I thought you and Tony were still gazing into each other's eyes," Nat responded to Steve's joke. "How we looking?"

"Well, we're not the '27 Yankees," Steve said.

"We got some hitters," Nat said.

"They're good. They're not a team," Steve said.

"Let's beat them into shape," Nat suggested as Steve opened the door.

Rhodey pulled up his mask on his War Machine suit.

The Vision turned around to Steve

Frost slid down an ice slide in her new blue suit.

Sam Wilson, The Falcon landed in the base as his wings pulled back into his back compartment.

Barry walked up wearing his new Flash suit.

Wanda landed down in her new Scarlet costume.

"Avengers…."
