Hey, guys! Welcome to my first ever My Hero Academia One-Shot Story! I hope that you guys will enjoy the chapter...oh, and also, special thanks to WOKELAND for collaborating with me on creating his one-shot chapter.

NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE ONE-SHOT CHAPTER!

We can say that life can acquire too many meanings, equally, existence encompasses a large number of unknowns and issues that lead to self-knowledge. We tend to ask ourselves questions like this: "Why was I born? What is my purpose in this world?" Thus, many humans are in their lives desperately searching for the reason for being and for existing. However, the opposite was the case with Izuku Midoriya.

What differentiated this boy from the others?

Simple, Izuku had never had to wonder why he exists or what was the purpose of his life, because the dark-green-haired teen already knew what was the purpose of his existence... or at least he believed.

In a short existence, barely eighteen years old, Izuku felt very satisfied with his life. In fact, Izuku felt that everything was perfect.

Izuku's perfect life started when he had first gained a much stronger version of his mother's Quirk at age four alongside his best friend and brother in arms, Katsuki Bakugo. He had received many praises from his teachers, friends, and his mother, who all believed in his dream of one day becoming a Pro Hero that can one day save people with a big smile on his face. Even his divorced father gave him his full support for his little boy accomplishing his dream.

In this way, Izuku Midoriya could feel very happy and grateful for his early childhood and his fondness for heroes. The dark-green-haired teen would soon realize that all those values and good attitudes that he received as a child watching heroic deeds from day to day would be paramount to his ambition to be a hero. Thus, at age 15, Izuku signed up for the tests to enter the UA and achieve his goal. He had a long and difficult path to learn to use his other power, a power that was inherited for generations, One for All, but with time, he managed to perfect his Quirk to a level never thought of and thus managed to defeat his sworn enemy. One for all users; All for one. Sure, he didn't do it alone, though, as Izuku had his loyal companions and other groups of heroes by his side.

Izuku Midoriya had everything, friends, parents who loved him, a great mentor, the love and respect of all people; they had a great future ahead of them, they had gifts and abilities to help people, he even had a very close friend of his! It could be said that there could be a romance between them. Everything that a person could ever want in their life Izuku had. The dark-green-haired boy could not complain about anything since he did not have anything in his life to feel sad about something. His life could be defined in a small sentence of three words: "Happiness and Perfection,"

And, after a little introduction into the life of this young green-haired, we can start our story. A story with a principle like this does not seem to bring a specific development because for there to be a knot, there must be a problem, but that was the problem: Izuku Midoriya had no problems. So what would be the joke in this narrative? Well, I'm sure that under this panorama where everything could be boring thanks to Deku's perfect life, we can highlight something that goes beyond our daily perspectives, delving into the true meaning of existence, perhaps beginning to value us more themselves and being grateful for what we have...

Finally, after years of effort and hard work, Izuku graduated from the heroes course at UA Academy, which meant that his dream of becoming a professional hero had come true. Izuku also watched with pride the rest of his classmates, who were with him since class 1-A, also become great heroes in their own right. His entire group had a party in celebration of their great achievement. His apartment was very neat. Everything was in its place and clean. You could see the dedication of this man in his attitude and his way of living. Before closing his eyes, Izuku smiled and sighed as he was ready to say a few words.

"Time to sleep," Izuku says to himself contently as he made his way to the paradise of dreams. Dreams that could be revealing for Izuku, revelations where you will realize that everything demands a price, even the most perfect life demands a soul in return... or even more. Opening his eyes inopportune, Izuku could realize that he was outside his house-No, he was on the street around a crowd.

"Hey, look, it's Deku!" One of the people in the crowd screamed excitedly as everyone turned to Izuku and began cheering for him as Izuku smiles warmly and waved at them cheerfully as he was about to sign some autographs and mingle with his fans but then-

"Help… please, someone, help…" The green-haired perked up at the call for help as Izuku looked around to see where the voice that apparently only he was listening to came from with darkness unexpectedly enveloping him, making the environment darker as the call for help sounded weaker and more painful. "Help me..."

"Where are you?" Despair made its presence known in Izuku, as he pierced through the crowd with his worry making his heart beat a little faster as Izuku felt like he was in a game against time.

"Over... here... help..."

"Here I go, hold on!" Izuku ran through the darkness that surrounded him, not knowing where he was going, until he slipped and hurt his forehead. He was taken aback for a few seconds but regained his will. He got up again, determined to help whoever it was. that I needed it.

"At ... at last ..." His voice sounded a bit cheerful.

"Here I am, don't worry. Everything will be fine," Izuku kept running desperately.

"Stop," A hand grabbed his shoulder surprisingly and stopped him. "Where do you think you are going?"

"Someone needs help! Aren't you listening?! He must be hu-!"

The mysterious man silenced him.

"You must not get involved in things that do not concern you."

"What are you talking about? I can't just leave it there!"

"Sure, you can, anyway, this is a dream. Whether you arrive or not, it won't matter because everything will have the same result."

Confused and angry, Izuku frowned and tried to face the man.

"What do you mean by that?!"

"You cannot interfere in the destiny of other people. Your help will be totally in vain. You are not in control to be able to manifest yourself in their lives. So, just leave it there, and let's go before you regret it.

"Well, I'd rather regret arriving than regret not being able to help him!" He exclaimed with some anger. He again continued on his way to the voice.

"Well, whatever you want..."

Izuku ignores the man's words and he kept running.

"Help…"

"I need to get there," Izuku tried to see, but the darkness prevented him.

"Here, let me support you with that." The man took out a gas lamp, and it emitted a glowing green light around the same lantern as the strange energy moved; It didn't appear to be a gas-powered lantern itself, but something more sinister. After the area was illuminated, the Izuku could finally see the poor boy, who was crying out for help incessantly... what he saw left him speechless.

The same person who was asking for help was with half of the body trapped in some debris that at sight was horrifying the scene, but the situation was not what perplexed Izuku, but rather the familiar... or same face of that person.

"What…?" The two looked at each other, stunned and not knowing how to react.

"I told you you'd be regret," The man said monotonously, "We're leaving. I repeat, there is nothing you can do to help him.

"But... why is he like this? Why?" Still looking at the boy, who was trapped in the rubble, Izuku tried to find a reasonable reason for the current situation.

"Dude, this is a dream, so it is irrelevant to mention why you are here and you are grateful that you have not yet entered the worst part. Seriously, let's just go. "He took his hand and led him toward a strange door in one wall.

Still confused and with many questions, Izuku limited himself to following the man to find answers to his unknowns.

"It must have been an illusion ... or I'm going crazy ... yes, it sure is," The trapped boy said to himself as he grunted in pain, seeing that now no one was going to save him. As they passed through the mysterious door, instead of coming across something resembling a house, they came across the hallway upstairs. Once inside, Izuku released the man and, while that was happening, the last one closed the door.

"What was that? Do you want to explain? And what's more, who are you?" Izuku severely interrogated the mysterious man.

"Me? Does it matter?" His tone of voice was not rude. It was rather serious. His attitude was very monotonous, as was the way he spoke. He took a key from his pocket and locked it on the door. "You better get back to your room before this gets weird. There was a small glitch in the matrix, and you must go back."

"Eh?" The young green-haired did not understand very well. "I don't understand anything you say."

"Because," After meditating briefly, the man realized something. "... maybe you're here to know," he stepped out of his field of vision and extended his hand in the direction of the rest of the corridor. That gesture made Izuku look towards where he was pointing, finding a corridor that seemed endless with thousands and thousands of doors.

Taking a few steps, the young hero took his time to visualize his surroundings. Izuku looked at the doors: some were worn, some were damaged, others were with a little blood already dried, there were even doors that did not have a handle. Izuku also noticed that the luminescence of that place was scarce, almost nil, a good reason to carry a flashlight, a flashlight that strangely man carried. After a few minutes of curiosity and inspection, Izuku turned and slowly approached the man as he looked at him with an expression of disbelief.

"Where… where are we?"

"We are in a representative place because this place can be presented in a thousand different ways. However, I give it to you to see it in a way that you can understand and that your young and relatively mature mind does not explode.

"Huh?"

"It would be easy if I showed it to you."

"But how can I trust you?" You haven't answered any of my questions. I still have many doubts, and I still do not understand several things. I want an explanation that gives me the emphasis to follow you and continue in this 'dream' "Izuku stressed in quotes, that was because right now he even doubted whether he was asleep or not, It should be said that everything felt very real, I even consider the possibility that this was because of the Quirk of some villain who was treating him while he was sleeping.

But some dreams are like that, right?

"Hmm." The man closed his eyes and raised his flashlight. Then he opened them and took Izuku's hand. "… We'll talk on the way."

He was still quite suspicious, but the green-haired was tempted to find out more about where he was. He did not let go of the man's hand and allowed him to guide him through the multitude of doors at a slow pace as they passed by each one; Voices and noises could be heard through them, causing a slight fear in the boy. The man walked slowly, and with that lantern perching in front of him, he implied that he seemed to be a soul collector, at least that's what Izuku imagined with fear.

"Very well, Izuku. I'll tell you a few things." My name is Kohei. "The one called Kohei stopped for a moment and released his hand. He put the flashlight to the side of his face so he could see it better. He was a man like any other as the person had very strong features, especially his cheekbones, which were also wide compared to his forehead. He appeared to be no more than 35 years old. There were red markings on his cheeks, to be more specific, they were spirals in the shape of a square. He was wearing a very gallant suit and a red bowtie. "I came to see what was happening, because like I told you, something got out of place. Although for that to be possible, someone had to interfere: that someone was you..."

"Me?"

"Yes. Somehow you managed to get here, but this place is forbidden to beings like you unless someone superior has made you come here."

"And who would he be?"

"For now I'll keep that with me. Follow me," Without taking his hand, he continued on the path. Izuku had remained static in the place, but when he saw that the light of the flashlight was moving away, he decided to quickly reach him; the darkness would have no mercy.

"Where we go?" Izuku asked with some fear.

"I have no idea. I just make time for us to continue our conversation. Tell me something, Izuku, how do you feel about your life?"

"My life?" The question had taken him by surprise, mostly because he had nothing to do with what was happening now. After a few seconds, he replied. "Well, I feel really satisfied. I have friends who admire and respect me, parents who love me, and I'm close to becoming the most I've wanted in life."

"Something tells me you've said that before, right?" Izuku looked at the man uncertainly.

"Uhm... not exactly as is..."

Or so he thought.

"But something like that." Anyway, you say, in a nutshell, that your life is perfect, right? "Kohei asked, to which Izuku nodded. "You can consider yourself a lucky person. Not everyone has a life like yours, and when I talk about your life, I'm really talking about you.

Izuku raised his eyebrow, hinting at confusion.

"I mean…?"

"Come on, let's open a door, anyway, they all hold a horrible place."

"Ok..."

The two of them headed for one of the doors. The man took out a key and unlocked it, proceeded to open it and clear the way.

"Come on, I'll go after you." A little intimidated, the Midoriya left through that door as, once outside, Izuku managed to visualize the apartment he once lived in with his mother right in front of him.

"It's my home," Izuku commented skeptically.

"That's how it is. Come on, let's see." Kohei turned off her flashlight and tucked it into her sack. The young was taken aback when he saw that, more so when he realized that the bulge of the flashlight was not visible exactly where he had kept it. The man noticed his expression. "What happen?"

"Nothing... just nothing,"

They walked straight toward the house. On the way, they heard voices coming from within, and the closer they got, the louder they became.

"What's going on there?" He asked, intrigued after hearing that a heated argument was breaking out inside.

"You see, Izuku, sometimes we can't all wish and have a perfect life." There are times when life can be cruel, and you only take steps to get rid of everything that bothers you or bothers you ... steps that can be radical - he looked at him towards the entrance. Suddenly, it burst open, revealing a rather annoyed boy with a small backpack behind him.

"I'm sick of you and this suffocating life!" If you're not going to support me in my dreams, then I'm out of here!" He then turned and started walking, leaving the door open.

"And where do you think you'll go?!" His mother questioned infuriatingly.

"Any safe place will be better than here!" The boy shouted in the distance.

"And where is he supposed to go?" Izuku could see the boy walking away from the apartment and down the stairs.

"Who knows, there are thousands of circumstances similar to this, where I go now, is irrelevant," Kohei replied indifferently.

Izuku was thoughtful about what was happening.

"Kohei... why are you showing me these things?"

"Izuku, this is a dream. What I do is what your subconscious does."

"What assures me that this is a dream? Didn't you just tell me that I was somewhere I shouldn't be?"

"Maybe your mind wanted to make you believe that."

"But I've never seen you in my life. Why would I dream of a man like you?"

"It's true, you've never seen me… have you?" Kohei smirked wickedly, leaving Izuku puzzled.

"What do you mean?

"Why don't we just continue with the tour?" He walked back to the door they had come out of earlier. Izuku, still skeptical of what was happening, simply followed the mysterious man.

Once again, they returned to the huge, shadowy corridor.

"I understand you Izuku, I know you have any questions about what you are seeing and experiencing: it all has to do with you."

"With me? What have I done so that they are in those conditions?"

"Wow... that's an excellent question. Tell me, Izuku, have you ever wondered who you are?"

"Honestly, no. I know who I am.

"Do you really know?"

"Yes."

"Seriously?" Kohei smirked. "Well then, follow me," taking the flashlight from his sack, Kohei began the tour once more. The darkness took over more of the place, which terrified Izuku and, at the same time, forced him to be close to the man.

"Now, what will we see?"

"Nothing specific." I will only open doors, and you will see through them. To be honest, we will only waste time entering each of those doors. However, before opening them, I would like to talk to you," The green-haired was expectant at those words." You have never suffered, you have never had a wound, you have never fallen ... tell me, don't you think your life is too perfect? "

"Too perfect? Well, I have everything I need, but ... you just said something very true. I have never suffered any kind of pain or injury... at least not physically, that being a hero has always entailed the latter.

Izuku was thoughtful for a moment, trying to figure out that he was trying to hint at the man.

"That's right" Kohei opened a door at random. In the background, a fight between friends was visualized, beating each other. However, the green-haired boy from that fight came out badly hurt. "But I suppose not everyone has that luck,"

Kohei closed the door. Izuku was beginning to feel nervous and tense as he looked at the man with some uncertainty.

"Why? Why are they like this?" Izuku was trying to process what he saw earlier.

"And you haven't seen everything yet," He kept walking as Izuku followed after him while trembling a bit as he had a small frown on his face.

"Izuku, how is your relationship situation?"

Another surprising question, but he answered.

"Well, I have a friend whose name is..."

Kohei silenced him.

"Her name from her is irrelevant. The point is that you have someone. Tell me, do you like it?"

"Well, I like her, but I don't know if she likes me."

"Please, Izuku. Your life is perfect. It's obvious that she likes you." Kohei smirked. "However, sometimes one can love other people,"

Then, he opened another door that showed two young who were kissing in the dormitories of UA. Kohei shone his flashlight without the young people noticing, reaching to see his hair, these being green and brown.

Izuku watched the scene with enormous shock.

"I-It..."

Kohei closed the door. He walked to another and opened it, seeing a similar scene, but with another girl.

"It just can not be…"

"There is still more to show."

"More?"

They kept walking. The man had slowed him down, which gave Izuku a bad feeling. He still felt a lot of mistrust. The young teen kept trying to reason what all that meant. Izuku kept wondering if everything was really a dream. He wondered if it was real. Whatever it was, he was very interested, but deep down, he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Kohei headed for the other doors.

"The pain, the suffering, and the rejection, yes, all that the poor have suffered, but here... here we will see something much worse," The man placed his hand on the door since this was one of those that did not have a handle. With force, he pushed the wooden building open. They were in a house near a cemetery. Kohei took a green-haired hand, and at a much slower pace, he directed his steps towards that place.

They were in a house near a cemetery. Kohei took the green-haired hand and, at a much slower pace, directed his steps towards that place.

"A cemetery? Izuku asked in fear.

"Yes, but don't worry, remember that none of this is real, "Kohei said while looking at the young green-haired with a calm expression as he then looked away and smiled evilly.

"I hope so…"

Passing between the graves, they came to one in particular. The man shone his flashlight on the tombstone in front of them. In fear, Izuku turned his gaze from him to what the man was lighting up, and what he saw left him paralyzed.

Izuku Midoriya

2134-2150

The better son, friend, and hero that could exist

The tears were not long in coming, and a feeling of horror washed over Izuku inside of him.

"Am I… dead?" He asked with tears in his eyes. The man put his arm around him, trying to calm him down.

"Not you, he does."

"What happened? Why did he die?"

"He died because that's how it was written. That was his destiny. That's how he was marked since he was conceived in the void of thought."

"What do you mean by that?

"He lived what he had to live. His cause of death can be seen in two ways. Here, he died in his final fight with All for One, but the real reason for his death was the ending that was planned for this poor story; everything happened in a logical way according to the events, but the truth is that he could be very much alive ..."

"You say he could live?" How is that possible if you just mentioned that he died in battle?

"Because I repeat, that was one way of looking at the cause of his death, but the truth is another."

"Will you tell me that truth?"

"Do you want to know it?" Izuku nodded, deep down feeling scared, but still, he was sure he wanted to know. "Well then, let's get out of here."

"Are you still going to show me more? What could be worse than all this?"

"There are things you better not want to know, things like the answer to that question," Kohei stated in a very grim way. Izuku felt pressure in his chest, he felt fear. "Let's go back." Before leaving, Izuku took one more look at the tombstone, lamenting the loss suffered by his family and friends. He felt an emptiness inside of him as if something was missing. Kohei noticed that the young green-haired had frozen, so he decided to go back and see how he was doing.

"Something happens?

"Yes, Kohei. I have a question," he placed his hand on his chest and then looked into his eyes, "Why do I feel like something is missing? Why do I feel like he was part of me?"

The man looked at him with a serious look.

"Because, believe it or not, he was part of you. They are all one whole, and the whole is you."

"Us?"

"I'll explain it better to you in the hall." Come on, you're falling far behind."

"Just tell me you'll stop showing me horrible things like this."

Kohei stopped and looked at him carefully.

"We've hardly seen anything, Izuku." There are still doors that hide much worse things. Are you not interested in knowing why there are doors that have blood on them? Wow, you told me you didn't think there could be something worse than your death, but believe me, there is. Not for nothing does the phrase exist: 'There are fates worse than death.'

Izuku did not conceive the idea that there could be worse things than death itself. Even curiosity invaded him, but knowing that his psychological integrity could be affected, he preferred not to know more about the subject. Suddenly, a tingling surrounded his neck, feeling a bad omen. He tried to evade the feeling and just move on with the subject. Izuku walked next to him, and they both began their return to the immense corridor, and upon entering inside, Kohei closed the door. On the other hand, Izuku wanted to talk to the man. The young teen wanted to know more. He wanted to find out about what was happening around him.

"Kohei, why are all these Izuku's suffering?" How is it possible that my life is so perfect?" Midoriya began to question.

"It seems that you are finally questioning the perfection of your life. I like that. It means that we can finally reach the climax of this whole dramatic show," Kohei smiled maliciously and darkly at Izuku's sight.

"Wait a minute… are you the superior force that brought me here?" He was amazed at his own question. He was intrigued to know the answer.

Kohei started laughing inside him. The young green-haired tilted his head confused, he wanted to know why the man was laughing if he hadn't said anything funny.

"You know? So far, you haven't seen anything, Izuku." The man ran his hand over the flashlight, changing the color of the light he emitted. "You have only seen the most superficial: fights, escapes, unthinkable love affairs, for you at least, you have even seen death itself... but, damn, you really haven't seen anything. This hallway hides much darker and more perverse things, things that would terrify you and that only the bravest or most insensitive are capable of seeing.

"You didn't answer my question, Kohei…" Izuku said sternly, almost sounding like a threat.

"If you want the answer so bad, yes." I was the one who brought you here," Kohei replied. Izuku was shocked. He no longer understood anything; although something inside him made him believe that this man in front of him knew everything, so he faced him, seeing him with some rage; however, his insecurity showed.

"Kohei, seriously, what the heck is this?" He questioned furiously, pointing all the way down the hall.

"You really are naive, Izuku. We are in a corridor full of doors that lead to different Universes! Are you not smart enough to have deduced that?"

"Well, ehm," Izuku got nervous, knowing what he was saying was true. He sensed it having seen everything revealed so far, but his surprise and horror prevented him from expressing what he discovered. "...maybe...I don't know, Kohei. It was an idea he had, but-

The man interrupted, once more.

"Izuku, who are you?" Kohei asked as, while the question was completely rhetorical, it didn't seem that way because of how direct it was. "While others suffer, you enjoy a wonderful life, full of luxury, full of love, full of joy and satisfaction. Who are you in this vast Multiverse?"

"I..."

"That is the truth, the only truth, you are nobody, but at the same time, you are everything. You are the cause, and at the same time, you are the effect. Izuku, you are the key to paradise, but the way to hell."

"What does all that mean?" Izuku had lost all will to him. His thoughts were minimized. He no longer understood anything.

"Do you want to know the truth? Do you want to know the atrocity behind so much evil and perversion?"

Filled with fear, Izuku crouched down and hugged her legs. He was terrified.

"I'll tell you who you are, Izuku. You are a moldable character. You're a person who can be used however you want. You are a miserable thing. You are a blank sheet where anyone can put their ideas and where anyone can use you as their personal puppet. You are not a person. You are an object. Tell me, do you believe in God? Here, what does that matter? You don't even know who your God is. You have no idea who created you. Sure God created you in a roundabout way, but God didn't put you here, and believe me, he doesn't want all those Izuku's you just saw to be suffering, but maybe the time has come for someone to see that suffering and pain must have a cause, all those Universes must have a cause to exist, don't you think?"

Izuku looked at Kohei in bewilderment.

"How do you know that?"

"I know because... I created you."

Thus, Kohei simply revealed that fact. Izuku was stunned at his words.

"That's impossible! I was born to my father and my mother! How could you have created me?!"

"Your mind is very closed, Young Midoriya," Kohei said, imitating All Might's voice in a mocking way, earning a growl from the green-haired. "But it's understandable. I'm just getting into the bearable topic. Come on, digest that your life is not how you first think and don't even worry: everything will be fine, my son. Soon everything you have seen and heard will be erased from your memories. After all, it is information that you don't need to know, but the public demands revealing works, profound works, and I want to give them that.

"What are you talking about?! Who are you talking about!?"

"Izuku, who do you talk to when you tell your story?"

"What are you talking about? What story...?"

Izuku was quiet for a few moments before realizing what Kohei was referring to.

"… I have no idea who I'm talking to."

"However, you feel like you are talking to someone, Izuku, all the time, they are watching, listening, or reading you, all the time they are looking for something that satisfies them. So that they can invest their time and say, 'I am satisfied with what I have done'. Do you know who they are? They are our 'gods', but they will never step into the protagonist's shoes...they will never step into your shoes." Izuku widened his eyes in shock. "You are very special, my son. I made you perfect, your life is perfect, your family is perfect, everything is perfect! But… do you know why I did it? Do you have any ideas?" Izuku shook his head. "I did it because it was necessary. The Multiverse demanded and craved balance. It demanded a light amid so much darkness! But that was not the worst. Yes, I gave the Multiverse what it needed, but I did it in such a way that now you are to blame for everything."

"Why?

"Why? Because it's fun, obviously. Do you think I am considerate? Not at all. I am a being of pure evil with very high thoughts and very advanced calculations. However, before revealing to you how it is that your existence harms everyone who is at these doors, I would like to continue walking."

"No, I won't go with you. I'll go back where I came from."

"You do not understand? I control you. You are mine. So you will come with me." The red energy lantern forced Izuku to stand next to him. He was exhausted from the matter, but more than feeling tired, he felt scared to death.

"Why are you doing this? Why did you show me all this if you are going to erase it from my memories?"

"Because I want to know what people feel when making you suffer or playing evil... oh, it's true, I have not told you about the Universes where you are the villain or bad guy and, believe me, you really are a very cruel being and ruthless."

Izuku was already feeling nauseous at imagining such a scenario.

"My God… get me out of here."

"I'm sorry, son, but the only one who can get you out of here is me. Understand me, please. You are my means to show the world the truth about what you feel when you suffer a blow, a wound, a broken heart."

"Why do you do that? What led you to create these cruel Universes?"

"Wow, that question is a very good one, but I guess we'll leave it up to each of us." Kohei smirked wickedly as he kept dragging the poor Izuku away. Time passed, and Izuku felt that he had been walking in the long dark corridor for hours. Suddenly, the man stopped, and, at last, Izuku's feet were able to take a breath.

"Excellent, I think it will be fine here."

"Where are we?"

"We're still in the hall, can't you see?"

"Sorry, we walked so much that I thought we had changed places."

"Quiet, also, the only thing you will find here will be this corridor of unimaginable length along with its incalculable number of doors."

"Kohei... or father ... I don't know anymore ... I don't even know who I really am anymore."

"Easy, my son, just ask me your question."

"Will you tell me the truth about my existence already? The truth about being me? What is my purpose in this life?"

"Izuku, the truth of being you is ... well, I'll explain it to you in detail." The man opened one of the doors and took out two chairs. He closed it again and gave Izuku a chair. They both took their seats, and the man started to speak.

Izuku watched him carefully.

"Being you is complicated. It implies accepting that your life has already been written, but unfortunately, that is something that neither you nor the others know. Being you means accepting the pain and suffering that you have throughout your life, but at the same time, seeing that you are not the culprit, but the "gods" will leave them believing that it is their fault or that it is the fault of other people, but the Izuku's will never know that they live a predefined life; There are some exceptions, there are some who know that they are controlled by the 'gods', however, their creators hide something from them that I am about to reveal to you."

The green-haired was looking at him anxiously, partially showing an expression of horror.

"You do not exist."

Then all that was left of Izuku… disappeared.

"I… don't… exist? H… how if I'm here, right now?"

"Izuku, you live in a fantasy world. You are not real. You are an invention of the world, which exists to entertain and amuse. You are really nobody; however, the 'gods' have the consideration of making us believe that we exist because we exist in their minds and in their hearts.

Young Midoriya looked at him in surprise, he couldn't even blink, and his mouth was open.

"Then…"

"The truth of being Izuku Midoriya is based on simply having to enjoy or suffer the life they give you, and you were lucky enough to have a perfect life. Be grateful for what you have and squeeze every drop of opportunity that comes out. The truth of being you, son, is simply being a blank page where an inspired mind will put all its efforts to generate a Universe that will be visited by all. However, you wonder who of all the Izuku's came first. That first Izuku is considered the Original, coming from the Original Universe. Did you know that he feels every suffering and every death of every Izuku that exists? I mean, not for nothing all Izuku's emanate from him, because without him, no one would exist, including you, my son. Fortunately, his 'god' erases those feelings without him knowing it, is that some 'gods' are so naive that they have no idea what their creations go through daily. It's kind of depressing if you ask me."

Izuku was silent. The very truth about existence had just been revealed to him, and now he had only one last question to ask. All feelings of fear or fear were slowly spreading because he was adapting to the idea that now encompasses his existence, likewise, what else did it matter if his own creator had just told him that he would forget everything when he finished? With this argument, the young green-haired took a serious and firm stance before Kohei, looking him in the eyes.

"I see you have taken it very well." Despite everything you have seen, you have not fallen. In this way, I have further confirmed the perfection that resides in you. That ability to adapt to the truth is really unique. It took me days to accept that it didn't exist, but you…you only needed a couple of minutes of reflection."

"Obviously, that's right." Izuku was silent for a few seconds. He sighed. "Kohei, tell me why I am perfect and why my Universe is perfect."

"Since you know the truth about yourself, now you will know the truth about your world. As I said before, the Multiverse where you reside demanded a balance and, as I told you too, I gave it to him. I created this Universe in order for balance to exist," He paused and laughed. "... really, no. Whoever tells you that is a vile liar. Why want balance if what I want is a total imbalance? Yes, a kind Universe or Universes were required, full of developments and happy endings to weigh all those devious Universes. However, I had other plans. I knew very well that if I created a Universe so perfect that nothing and no one could compare to it, then the Multiverse would have to demand more ruthless Universes to compensate for a Universe as perfect as the one I have created."

Eyes full of surprise, Izuku tried to digest what he had just heard. So he took some time to think and talk about what Kohei was referring to.

"You say that my life and my world is so perfect, that because of it, there must be much worse Universes than those that already exist in order to achieve a balance again?" Izuku asked, earning sarcastic applause from the man.

"After all, there is a brain in there," He laughed wryly. "However, Izuku, I have a question for you." The man approached him and raised his flashlight, which was emitting a more intense glow; the hallway was deep blood red. "What was the first; the egg or the chicken?"

"What?" Puzzled, Izuku released an expression of utmost confusion. "What do a chicken and an egg have to do with this? I mean, stop saying allegories and metaphors."

"Come on, kid, I know what you think. You already proved it to me," Kohei smiled. "So why ask the classic chicken and egg question? You just have to translate it to your situation.

The green-haired was thoughtful, however, he did not reach a specific conclusion. Kohei walked over and placed his hand on the boy's shoulder.

"Look, do you remember what I told you? That you were the cause of the suffering of all those poor boys, but at the same time, you were the effect? So, my dear son, the question is: who came first? You or them? Who created who and who is in a position to feel guilty in the first place? Will you have existed first, and that is why all those Izuku's are suffering or have you been created later and simply their torture became much worse, apart from new Universes originating because of you? Wow, it's quite an interesting question for which I'm the only one who has the answer. Still, I won't let you know."

"You..." Izuku frowned and clenched his teeth as the One For All energy surrounded his entire body. He lunged at him and began punching him. The man allowed himself to be hit, in fact, he enjoyed the pain that his fists caused with each blow he dealt against him. "… You are a fucking deranged! How could you condemn us all ?!"

Kohei started laughing madly.

"That...!" Coughing from the blows he still received, "that still... is... nothing!" He kept laughing.

"How much do you laugh?" Izuku remembered everything he had seen and could not help feeling frustrated as well as guilty. "Because of you, I am responsible for the guilt of all of them suffering. Why that laugh?!" He stopped and put his hands against his began to cry, and his knees gave way to the ground. He was sobbing very sadly. "Why…? What do you gain by doing this…?"

His laughter increased. Then, he was regaining his posture until he was seated.

"He really hasn't learned anything yet!" He gradually stopped his laughter. "Do you think I wanted this? Sure, my personality remarks in an affirmative way, but I was not the one who brought me here to tell you and reveal all these things to you. It was our creator," Izuku looked up, still with tears streaming down her cheeks, "He, he made me do this. I just agreed and agreed to do it. Nothing that an extra pair of hands wouldn't help.

"So who should I blame?" Izuku questioned with a brittle voice.

"Izuku ..." Kohei smiled widely "...that has always been your problem. They think they can change everything or they can take it out on someone about their problems! There is no one to blame! There is no one to exact revenge! You can't, we can't! We are totally inferior beings and so easily manipulated. Believe me that even the most powerful being that exists within the jurisdiction of the 'gods' is just another adept who is just as miserable as we are.

"So what can I do, Kohei? What can I do?"

"The only thing you can do, my son," He took Izuku by the face with both hands and forced him to look at him. "Is to accept your life." The only thing you can do is accept your destiny…. The only thing you can do is accept your truth. "

Then he released it. Izuku wiped the tears with his forearm.

"Until before this, I believed that my life was perfect, I believed everything around me was perfect...I believed that I was perfect," He lowered his gaze. "The vile purposes of a being to whom I cannot even tell what I think... or at least he would just ignore me because I am nobody with respect to what our creator is..."

"Oh, son." Kohei stood up smiling and held out her hand. "Of course, you are perfect. I created you, after all. I planned down to the smallest detail to make it so. However, I cannot deny that despite living in such a perfect world and such a perfect life, you have a purpose for nothing perfect and not at all kind. Sometimes we think we know that we know everything, but in truth, we realize that we hardly know anything about everything we think we know. "

Izuku was looking at the man's hand, wondering if he was really being nice. He just took his hand and stood up. Kohei then proceeded to lift the flashlight from him, because, after that aggressive act, he had accidentally dropped it.

"Well Kohei, now what am I supposed to do? Can I go back now?"

"That answer is entirely up to you. Better, tell me. What will you do with the information I have given you?"

"Honestly, I would like to share my life with the other Izuku's. I would like them to have a day of perfection, where everyone loves them and where everything turns out just as they want and wish."

"It's a nice wish, Izuku, but I'm afraid that's not possible."

"Why not?"

"Each Izuku belongs to a Universe and therefore belongs to a 'god'. You cannot change places because, in the end, you would end up returning to the same place. That is, you would return to your Universe for the simple fact that you do not belong there; now, that the "gods" could debate an exchange or a connection, it is already completely different."

The green-haired sighed heavily and saw Kohei with a downcast countenance.

"Then I want to return to my home, to my Universe." The man extended his lantern, giving it to Izuku. The young Midoriya took it.

"Good, but you will need this." The road is dark, and darkness could consume you and leave you stranded here.

"But what about you?"

"Don't worry about me. I know this place like the back of my hand. Besides, the dark has always been my home. "

"Ok. So… I guess this is goodbye."

"You guess right."

Izuku nodded and started walking where he had come from, though Kohei stopped him suddenly.

"Izuku."

"Yes?" He turned with a sad expression, no longer expecting to hear from him.

"I've considered what you've told me and, you're right. The Izuku's deserve a chance."

"Really?" He recovered his spirits and gave a wide smile.

"Yeah, I mean, why not give them a chance to have a perfect life?"

Izuku felt grateful, but that feeling would disappear sooner than he thought.

"If you wish to give someone your place, go ahead," Kohei clapped twice, "Tell me, Izuku, if others had a chance to take your place in your perfect life, what do you think they would do?"

"I think they would give it their all," He snapped, believing that his question was a joke knowing the obviousness of his question.

"They would even kill for it, don't you think?"

Slowly, the doors opened.

"Uhm… I guess, why do you say that?" His nervousness showed clearly.

"Because..." he walked slowly to Izuku and smiled devilishly. "...I would give my life to have your life..."

Lots of green hair peeked through the doors.

"The solution to all your problems is down the hall!" Who is fed up with his life? Go ahead, seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! "Then a bunch of Izuku's came out of the gates. Whispering, they questioned the veracity of his words, at the same time wondering what was going on. Thousands of versions of themselves were everywhere, "I know this is confusing for you, but if you are tired of your lives, you just have to snatch the perfect Izuku's key and take the door that will lead you to the perfect life. Whether this is real or not, please, their life is miserable… they have nothing to lose anymore… "

"Who is the perfect Izuku?"

"Who is it?"

Everyone looked at each other. Kohei looked at the perfect Izuku and whispered in his ear.

"Run..."

And since his life depended on him, Izuku ran. They all noticed this and could see a golden key sticking out of his back pocket.

"There is!"

"Behind the!"

"That life is mine!"

They all started a chase against the perfect Izuku.

"Damn," He looked back, and the only thing he could see was a crowd of Izuku's going straight for him, "They look really bad."

Among them, there were Izuku who looked very beaten, others were very tired, there was a lot of variety.

"My God, they are all bad. I must get out of here as soon as possible."

A hand pulled him, and he fell.

"Not so fast." A dying Izuku had made him fall. "Give me...that...key!" He ordered with an expression of fury.

"N-no!" It's my life!" He kicked her in the face, causing her to drop him.

"About him!" the crowd had caught up with him. They all started to get on top of each other, but Izuku didn't give up. He took the flashlight and tried to hit them with it, but what that flashlight actually did leave him stunned.

"What is that?" Asked one of the Izuku's as he felt a burning in his body.

"You don't belong here…" The flashlight whispered inside her. Then one of the Izuku's was slowly absorbed by the flashlight until it disappeared.

"Holy shit!" Cursed the perfect Izuku, as he watched as a flash of energy emanating from the lantern, and he was thrown towards one of the doors. Then, he understood. "Stay away!" He held the lantern at them, the Izuku avoided him, "If you don't want to die, then let me go!"

The Izuku's looked at each other, and some of them exclaimed:

"We will die trying!" Said that they pounced on him again. The Izuku had not captured what Kohei had said, but when he saw that suicidal act (even knowing that they really did not die), he understood that if those Izuku's preferred death to returning to their lives, then there were worse things than dying.

"Poor guy…" He thought to himself as, in order not to continue being delayed, he decided to get up, and hit the Izuku's with the flashlight, being absorbed by it.

The adrenaline ran through him, Izuku felt under pressure, being haunted by living nightmares, and taking it literally, because those people were versions of himself and that meant that he could dream those terrible things ... although, with a perfect life, that was now unlikely.

"Fool, creator..."

He continued running, running into evicted Izuku's, apparently, they were ready to die. They were just waiting for their lives to end; still, being there represented their little hope of changing their lives. This discouraged the perfect Izuku, but he did not want to lose the life that he had been given. He must be selfish for the first time in his life. Izuku knew that his moral thinking was totally irrelevant. The whole person of him was irrelevant. The whole person of him was irrelevant. For a moment, Izuku wanted to stop, but then, he saw the Izuku's approaching him, and he thought that he would not want to be in any of their places, and he did not want to experience pain and suffering, much less than he has ever done in his entire life... although now that he reflected on it, perhaps his life was not lived completely and he only has memories of his past.

"I created you ..."

Those words echoed inside his mind, leaving him bewildered, but it no longer mattered. When he arrived, he would be safe and at peace, for he would forget everything he had ever lived through and just live his perfect life.

Finally, after long hours, which were indeed minutes, he arrived at his door; however, all the Izuku's had arrived with him.

"Perfect, Izuku, have mercy on me," Said one of them. "Kacchan insults me, and hits me. Every time he gets frustrated, he blames me, and they always come with me to get even."

"That's nothing!" Said another, "I haven't eaten in days! I left the house because my mother mistreated me, now I don't even have a roof to stay on."

"Please, Ochako was obsessed with me, and she killed all the girls in my class, and that doesn't even make sense!"

"And what you say doesn't compare to my life..."

All the Izuku's started arguing amongst themselves. Scared of the stories they were telling, the perfect Izuku would simply back away. Feeling with his hand, he directed his hand toward the door as he searched for the door handle.

"Come on… come on…" The nerve was gnawing at him.

"Hey, what makes the perfect Izuku?"

Everyone stopped the anecdotes of his sorrows and hardships and paid attention to the albino. Everyone was alarmed when they saw that his hand was on the handle, plus his other hand already had the key, ready to be inserted into the door.

"Come on, dude," one of them said, "Don't be like that. We're not like that, are we? We're considerate."

"A few moments ago, it didn't seem like that."

"Oh, come on. It's just been the pressure and the hard time we've been through in our lives. Suffering, deaths, arguments… we've been through it all. We just want to get out of the hell we live in for a while."

They all looked at him expectantly. The perfect Izuku remembered the words Kohei said to him when he ran into the first Izuku who was in that doghouse. He put on a thoughtful expression and then looked at all of them.

"I'm sorry, but no matter what I do, their destinations have already been written." With that, he began to open the door, causing everyone to head towards him without mercy.

"You damn selfish!" Shouted one who got dangerously close to him. Lincoln managed to open the door, grabbed the flashlight, and smacked that Lincoln in the face, "You'll regret what you did!"

"I'm already paying the price." Finished the sentence, Izuku got power and got into the lamp. No one else dared to approach: his opportunity was gone. The green-haired man let the energy go, and when he finished waiting, he entered his room, placing the safety immediately.

He leaned against the door and sat up, hugging his legs. Kohei was watching him from across his room.

"Congratulations, you managed to escape. I did not expect more from my perfect creation, whose life is perfect. You belong here, and it is right that you are here. Now, just lie down. By the time you open your eyes, none of this will have happened. Nothing will be haunting you. You'll be fine, I promise. It will all have been a nightmare, which you technically never had."

The man approached young Midoriya and bent down to take the flashlight from him. Izuku didn't say anything about it anymore, he just decided to get up and sit on the bed, looking down at the floor in a very thoughtful way. Kohei patted her head and proceeded to leave, opening the door and locking it.

Izuku sighed heavily while he wondered what had happened. He clearly knew it, but he denied it himself. He couldn't believe it… he didn't want to believe it. He leaned his elbows on his knees and put his face against his hands. He sighed again. Nothing was relevant at that moment. Nothing mattered anymore, although Izuku knew that he had to accept the vicious circle he was in. He could do no more than accept his life, he could do no more than accept his fate... he could do no more than accept the truth of him.

He took a deep breath and let all the air out slowly. He tried to relax and lay down. She put her hands on her chest and stared at nothing, then, before closing her eyes and entering her Universe again and forgetting everything, she wanted to reflect a little more. Something inside him did not want to forget everything she knew, but another part of him knew that his life would cease to be perfect if all the things he had seen hovered in his thoughts. He finally chose to accept that there was nothing else to do but forget. So he breathed one last breath. His expression was serious.

"Who are you?" He questioned, leaving the question open. Afterward, he closed his eyes. His being would soon be back to a perfect life, in ignorance of his truth.
