A/N: Hi! I don't usually put author's notes on these because I don't like to, but I wanted to talk about where Alexia's going today. She'll be heading back to the universe with Loki (I'm updating my profile so it'll have the universes numbered. This one is U11). I wanted to talk about it because when I first introduced this universe, I said that it was from a crossover fic I've got. While that is true, I don't think I'll be posting it any time soon. I don't feel like I have a good enough grasp on all the characters, their relationships, and their backgrounds to write them. So for now, just think of U11 as one I made up for the Multiverse Series.

Alexia, Marvel Hermione

"Can you tell me how it didn't work?"

Alexia raised an eyebrow. "No."

Theo tipped his head back. "No offense, Dolohov, but your job is exhausting. I can't tell you why it didn't work if you can't tell me what happened."

With a long suffering sigh, Alexia waved her hand and opened the door to the multiverse room where Bertie sat, once again with popcorn, watching the screens. "Bertie, can I tell him?"

"Huh?" the man shook himself. When he focused, he let out a loud belly laugh. "Of course, you can!"

She frowned. "Really? That easy? Won't it mess with my vows if he hasn't taken any?"

Bertie chuckled at her. "If that were true, you would've died long ago!"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, I mean, of course, that you never took real Vows," he said like it was obvious. "I thought you would've noticed."

Theo's mouth dropped open. "I thought any Unspeakable had to take vows. Why hasn't she?"

Alexia frowned at the pleased look on Bertie's face and sighed. "Does this have something to do with my file?"

"File?" Theo wondered.

"Yeah, the file Alphard Black made when he worked with me in the 70s," she explained. "I didn't read much of it. It has to do with my file, with Alphard, doesn't it?"

Still chuckling at her, Bertie nodded. "Yes, of course! He told me you are incapable of keeping a secret, but that you would be invaluable to the team! When your husband told me the same-,"

"Antonin said I'm- fuck, I'm not even surprised," she muttered. "Bastard."

"He recruited you under the orders to Obliviate anyone he deems necessary," her boss finished. "You can tell your friend anything without dying."

"Without losing my job is another question," she understood with a sigh. "I guess it does make sense. I've had so much bloody head trauma lately, I never even realized. But telling Theo what happened is okay?"

Bertie hummed. "I want you protected from that sort of attack, Dolohov. Very dangerous indeed. We are lucky your husband got there when he did, or you'd be lost!"

"Okay, what the hell happened?" Theo asked her in concern. "You look… normal."

Alexia waved the door closed again and leaned back in her chair. "I work with the multiverse. Other universes. I fucked things up, and it's all going to hell. I visited a friend yesterday, but when I tried to get home, I landed in a universe where… I married Lucius and changed the future instead of coming back to 1998."

Theo's eyes widened. "The- and you married him? What?"

"It was a legitimate thought both of us had back then," she admitted. He looked surprised, and she smiled. "When we dated, we fell in love. We both knew how it would end, but neither of us wanted it to end. That's the worst kind of breakup, I think, is one where you still… love each other with your entire being. But here, we broke up. We had to uphold the future. I'm not saying neither of us suggested that we… damn it all. We did, but we knew what we had to do."

"And there…"

Her eyes drifted as she thought back to that memory. "He said it. I can show you a future better than the one you left. He said… you have all the information we need. And they did. They changed the future, changed everything."

Theo's brow furrowed. "He told you?"

She laughed bitterly. "I would've preferred that. A memory eclipse, Theo."

His eyes widened in horror, and he looked her over closely as if he would see something different than moments before. "Who did it?"

"That's the thing. No one did it."

"What?"

She crossed her arms over her chest and sat back in her chair. "It would happen when they touched me, Lucius and James. I believe their bonds with their version of me triggered it, but they didn't cast it. Because the multiverse is so- because everything is going wrong, the multiverse did it, essentially. It was… fuck, it was so fucking painful. I didn't know who I was. Eventually, I forgot me and remembered her. They started doing it on purpose, grabbing me so I'd remember more. But in one of the moments of clarity, between the memories, I did some scans on the universe and myself. It was how I realized that the universe was attacking me. I wasn't sure how, but… and then I lost myself."

Theo took in a deep breath as he thought quietly. "You want to know if there's anything I can do to protect you from the multiverse."

"Yeah," she shrugged. "I assume probably not. I took years of ancient runes, not just in the 90s, but in the 70s as well. Nothing I know can help me, but being who you are, I thought maybe you could."

"Do you still have these scans?" he wondered. "It might help if I can look at them. I might be able to twist some things, but I'd need your magical signature, empty of the base code."

Alexia nodded and waved her wand toward him. He grabbed his own when the scans appeared in the air and quickly copied them. "That's everything I've got. There's scans of me before I left, while it was happening, and after it was over, too. Let me know if you need anything else."

"I will."

She opened the door again and didn't bother looking back. "Bertie, we need to pay him."

"He is a consultant," Bertie replied. "Oh! There we go. U11 is back up. Off you go!"

"It's back?" she gasped. She shot out of her chair and into the room. Theo followed along curiously and watched as she grinned. "It's back! Thank Merlin. Where's Antonin?"

"Busy," Bertie told her. She narrowed her eyes at him.

"Busy," she repeated. "With what? He missed our meeting with Remus's friend in Japan this morning. Where is he?"

Bertie cleared his throat. "Just busy."

Alexia frowned and pressed a few buttons on the machine. After a moment, the screen watching Macie swapped and she huffed out. "Well, he's not there. What's he doing?"

"Don't worry about it," Bertie told her. "You need to leave!"

She sighed. "I'm not going alone, not after what happened yesterday. I'll bring someone with me until we can find something to better protect my mind. If Antonin isn't here…"

"Yes?"

"I'll grab Sirius," she shrugged. "He's already here for the Wizengamot meeting. I'm sure he'll be happy to get out of it."

"Wait," Theo touched her arm before she could move. "This is important, Lexi. You're completely back to yourself? No confusion at all? Those memories are gone?"

"They're not… gone, per se," she admitted slowly. "There's some confusion. And sometimes I… I'll be fine, Theo."

"No, no," Bertie shook his head. "Kid's right. Take him with you."

"Theo?"

"Of course! He's already a consultant, and Alphard told me to never hire his nephew," Bertie explained. "Take Nott with you. I'll give him hazard pay."

"Hazard pay?" she repeated in disbelief. "Bertie, you know what's happened to me out there! If it's bad, he could die!"

"Yes, that's why he gets hazard pay!"

Theo let out a small laugh. "I can take care of myself, Lexi. I'll come with. I can do some scans on you that might help me, anyway. Where are we going?"

Alexia sighed. "We're going to check on an alternate version of Antonin. We need his help- a friend of mine needs his help to get rid of her curse. I need to make sure he'll help her. He's our best option. I was supposed to have Mia come, to make sure he's safe, but seeing as she won't speak to me right now… But Bertie, if Antonin isn't here, you need to keep a close eye on what's going on. I don't want anyone there doing anything… I need you to watch us."

"Of course! It's what I've been doing all morning."

"Well…" she waved her hand again and grabbed her Unspeakable robes and slipped them on over the dress she wore. Checking to make sure she had everything she needed - her bag, her ring, her bracelet, her wedding ring, her wand, and her daggers - Alexia nodded. "Ready?"

"Yeah," Theo said hesitantly. With his confirmation, she pressed a couple of buttons on the machine and watched a portal open. She grabbed Theo's hand as a precaution - they certainly wouldn't want to be separated somehow - and stepped through.

When they came out the other side, the portal closed rather calmly, and she took a look around. She rolled her eyes when she realized where they were. "It's not often I come out in the same spot again. Scribbulus."

Theo looked around curiously. "Nothing looks different. How do we find Dolohov?"

"He usually finds me," she shrugged. "I can't feel him yet, but I think he's somewhere close. Let's just go outside. I want to get some scans."

As they made their way out, they realized it was the middle of the day, and also likely the middle or end of August. Diagon Alley was busier than usual, and there was a line outside of Ollivanders. Alexia waved her wand around and nodded at the results. Before sending them back to Bertie, she sent a copy to Theo's wand.

"Oh," she gasped, looking at him. "I just realized, we should probably disguise ourselves."

Theo shook his head. "Why?"

"Because it wouldn't be great if someone-,"

"Hermione?"

"-recognized us," she sighed. Looking past Theo, she saw a couple of familiar faces - Harry and Loki - as well as one she didn't recognize. The woman had wavy brown hair past her shoulders and stood quietly on Harry's other side. She radiated some sort of dangerous energy that Alexia found herself wanting to study. "Loki, Harry, nice to see you."

Loki frowned at her and walked forward to pull her into an alley. Once they were all there, he eyed her. "You are injured."

Alexia let out a short laugh. "I'm always injured."

"This is an accident?" he wondered. "Where is your friend?"

"No, I'm here on purpose," she said, ignoring his second question. "I'm not here for you guys. I need Dolohov's help, or I will. I'm looking for him. He's already on his way."

"We cannot just have you appear in the middle of the street," Loki told her sternly. "It raises questions that we are not prepared to answer."

Harry looked between Theo and Alexia and grinned. "Dad, I've now met both of my best friends, but older. Can I tell them they'll both be hot?"

"Ew," Alexia screwed up her face before laughing a little. "What are you, a chaotic bisexual Harry?"

"Maybe."

"As for us appearing here, I promise you, it was not our intention," she said seriously. "This isn't going to be a long trip, either. Just here for Dolohov, then we'll leave."

Theo waved his wand at her again and frowned. "Lexi, not to interrupt, but what were the scans when the attack started?" She glanced at him and waved them in the air. He grimaced and put his in the air next to them. "We need to get you somewhere… somewhere. Where do we go? What's safe? How do we know when it's going to start? What'll happen when-,"

He got his answer in the form of Alexia grabbing her head with a loud, pained groan. Theo grabbed her to keep her steady, but he wasn't able to stop the memory that attacked her mind.

The castle was chaotic that day - exam season was coming to an end, and students were desperate to get to their last exams on time. Alexia's last exam had been the day prior, so she sat in a window on the fourth floor, watching the rain fall on the Whomping Willow. Her O.W.L.s had been just as tough as the last time, and she'd appreciated the challenge to beat her old scores. She was fairly confident that she'd done well, and was attempting to relax - something that was difficult with the current state of the world.

Someone leaned up against the wall by her and she turned her head quickly to find Dolohov blocking her way and looking out the window as well. "Violent thing, that tree. A bit like you."

Alexia scoffed. "Only in reaction to you, Dolohov. Aren't you missing your N.E.W.T.s, or did they deem you incapable?"

He chuckled. "I've finished them. You will miss me next year."

"Oh, I will?" she raised an eyebrow. "I don't think I'll miss being attacked every time I have my back turned."

"You had your back turned when I arrived," he pointed out. "We're talking, that's all."

Alexia sighed. "About what, exactly?"

"The future. Your future. I've learned your secret, Potter," he told her. When she just looked up at him, he smirked. "Yes, that secret. Did you think you could keep it forever?"

"Oblivi-,"

"Silencio!" he cast before she could finish. Her spell died, and he nodded firmly. "I am not here to fight, not now. I think it would be wise to be aware of your options, Potter. Someone with your talents, your… knowledge would be very useful to the Dark Lord. I could assure your safe place by my side, fighting for him. Think it over. Use the knowledge for your own good… before someone takes it from you."

Alexia's head shot up again as the memory finished, and she looked around wildly, stuck in a moment of someone else's past. "Where did he go? How- where is he?"

"Alexia," Theo said loudly, gaining her attention. "Hey, look at me. Look. What you're remembering is not your memory. The person you think you are- that's not you."

"What the hell are you talking about?" she snapped. "Where's- where's Dolohov?"

"What happened to her?" Harry asked his dad. Loki was checking Alexia over with his own magic, but he couldn't give an answer, so Harry looked to the woman by his side. "Wanda?"

"Some sort of memory magic," Wanda guessed. She looked at Theo. "How?"

Theo ignored them. "Alexia, look. Look at your hand- see? Your ring?"

Alexia did, in fact, look. When she spotted the Dolohov ring, confusion bloomed within her. "I don't… but I remember he was-,"

"Like I said," Theo nodded quickly. "Those aren't your memories. Look, look at those scans there. See? That's you, but your mind is under attack. It's called a memory eclipse-,"

Loki's head shot up. "An eclipse? You're sure?"

"She said it started yesterday," Theo explained. "She said she was almost gone completely and that her husband helped her, but it wasn't cast by a person, it just happened because the multiverse-,"

"No!" Alexia yelled, startling everyone, including herself. She blinked a few times. "Don't."

"You remember?" Theo wondered. She nodded, but quickly shook her head.

"I don't know, but… don't. I don't think we're supposed to…"

"What's a memory eclipse?" Harry asked Loki with a frown. "She wasn't like this last time. Last time, she was panicked, but she definitely remembered who she was, her and Cassiopeia both."

"Cassie," Alexia repeated quietly. "Cassie… is she okay?"

"She is not here, Alexia," Loki told her slowly. "Who did you marry?"

It took her a long time to answer. "I remember… marrying twice. I've been married twice?"

"No," Theo sighed. "You married-,"

"Don't tell her," Loki warned. "The multiverse can be very different. If this alternate version reacted poorly to her actual husband, she will react that way, as well. Alexia, do you remember Cassiopeia well?"

Her eyes cleared up a little bit, and she gave a cautious nod. "She's just a kid."

"Tell us about her."

"The… war is almost done. She's tired and angry, and she won't let us help. I told Mia- I told Mia I'm terrified she's going to get herself killed in this war because she wants to die, but she isn't willing to leave them all behind to fight by themselves," she told him. As she spoke, she seemed more sure of herself. When Theo repeated his scans, he breathed out in relief - she was leaving whatever attack she'd been in. "The last time I saw her, she… it wasn't good. I don't want to lose her."

"She's back," Theo told the others quietly. He could hear the pure pain in his friend's voice and felt no need to speak over it.

Loki nodded firmly. "Alexia, you will need to find whomever cursed you and dispose of them. It seems this curse has attached itself to your core for a repeated attack just as you are healing. Destroying whomever cursed you is the only way to ensure it is gone."

Alexia grimaced. She still looked a bit confused, and definitely in pain, but she was back… for the moment, at least. "That's impossible."

"He was saying something," Wanda nodded at Theo. "About the multiverse."

"It doesn't matter," she said loudly. "All I need is to talk to Dolohov, and then I can go home."

"It has been some time since I have seen you, Dorogaya."

Alexia spun around and breathed out in relief. "Thank Circe. I need a favor."

Theo's scan was in the air and constant, and he grimaced. "Alexia."

"Hold on," she told him. "I need your help. A friend needs a curse removed and-,"

"Alexia-,"

"You must do it. Some version of you has to remove this curse or-,"

"Alexia!" he snapped. When she spun around, he pointed again. "It's happening again."

"Dad, help her!" Harry waved at the women across from them, but Loki shook his head.

"This is the most dangerous and resilient midgardian magic I have ever run into," he told his son. "And it is mind magic. If I interfered, it could very well kill her or destroy her mind."

Alexia was prepared enough to grab onto Theo in preparation for the pain. She screamed out as this memory shoved its way in and tried to make itself home.

"You fucking what?" James yelled. "Goddamn it, Alexia!"

She sat on the arm of the couch with her bare left arm out in front of her. She watched as her brother paced back and forth. "Jamie, please, calm down."

"Calm down?" he repeated in disbelief. "You want me to fucking calm down? Are you out of your mind?"

"No."

"Yes, you are! Fuck, Lexi! I thought you were being fucking tortured!"

Alexia sighed and rolled her sleeve down over the fresh Dark Mark. "It's a bit like torture, yes."

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" he asked. "Seriously, tell me right now or I swear to Merlin-,"

"What?" she wondered with genuine curiosity. "What would you do?"

James faltered for only a moment before he glared down at her. "Explain yourself right now."

"Sit down," she requested. He only stared at her, so she crossed her arms over her chest and shook her head. "Look, I don't want to be a Death Eater, Jamie. I'm doing this because we've got a plan."

"We?" he asked. It only took him a moment before he scowled. "Malfoy convinced you to do this."

"No, actually," she rolled her eyes. "It was my idea. Lucius was very against it until I told him why. We came up with a legitimate plan to get everyone out, okay? Over half of these people don't even want to be Death Eaters! Some joined because of family, some were forced to join, and some, yes, were bigots and joined, but now they want out!"

"They don't deserve to be saved if they wanted to join!" he argued.

"Think smart for one second, James," she demanded. "I hate them as much as you do. They deserve to rot in Azkaban, but if I help them out? Guess what, that's one less Death Eater out there hurting innocent people! I don't want to be- be marked like this, but it's for the-,"

"If you say it's for the Greater Good, I'll hex you like you hexed Dumbledore last year," James threatened her. "How the fuck do you plan to fight in raids and with the Order if you're on the inside?"

Alexia laughed. "I'm pretty damn good at disguising myself, Prongs. I'll disguise myself for raids with the Order and go as me for Voldemort. We've got a plan, I promise. Now please, can you stop yelling for ten seconds? I am in a lot of pain right now."

Alexia let out a scream of pain and frantically pulled her sleeve up to reveal her half of a Dark Mark. Her stomach churned at the sight, and she leaned over and emptied her stomach.

"Holy shit, is she a-,"

"No," Theo cut Harry off. "No, she was kidnapped and they did this. It's not even finished. Alexia, are you okay? What did you… remember?"

"Telling Jamie," she whispered. "About the plan. Why I got it. He never forgave me for it to the day I died."

"She died?" Harry asked loudly. Theo shot him a look.

"No. Well, yes, but no- yes, but not actually- she did, but she's here."

"Ask her more questions," Loki instructed. "About people she cares about deeply. Something to incite strong emotions."

Theo looked around and made a face. How was he supposed to know who to pick? He didn't even know who the hell Cassiopeia actually was, not to mention- "Mia."

Alexia looked at him in confusion. "What?"

"Mia, you know someone named Mia," he told her. "Who is she? Another version of you?"

"I… think so," she said slowly. "Mia… Potter? No. Mia Black? Yes. No! No, not yet. Mia isn't- she's not- we're not speaking."

"Okay, why?"

"Because with everything going on, the last trip I took- I took Mia and Adelaide to another one and when we returned Addy, her… Regulus didn't exist anymore."

"Holy shit," Harry whispered. "That can happen?"

"Mia is furious, and she's right," Alexia whispered. "I did this. It was my… I had to fight Macnair. The bastard has been stalking me for years, tried to kidnap me and killed muggles because I married Antonin. I had to fight him! But something went wrong and I had to protect Spencer so we went…. If I had just done something else, Addy would still be happy. Hell, I wouldn't be like this right now. I can't even remember who I am, not really."

"How did you fix it yesterday?" Theo questioned. "You said you fixed it before she took you over. How?"

Alexia was quiet as she tried to remember, despite the loud memories that didn't belong with her. "I was… in a memory when he got to me. He asked me questions about… and those helped a lot, despite… and then he touched me."

"What questions? Loki wondered. "What questions brought you back?"

Her gut clenched. "Feliks, Rowle and…"

"Yes?"

She squeezed her eyes closed as the anxiety churned through her body. "His name was Rossindherlem."

"And who were they, Alexia?"

She turned around and started to pace instead of answering him. When her eyes settled on Dolohov, who was observing her, she tensed and reached for her wand, but Harry disarmed her before she could pull it. "Dolohov is-,"

"Not a threat here," Theo interrupted. "According to you."

"For love of- Dolohov, just touch her," Loki waved.

Curious, Dolohov stepped forward. When he got closer to Alexia, she began taking steps backward to get away, but Theo grabbed her shoulders gently before she could hit him and held her there. Dolohov reached out gently and grabbed her hand to kiss the back of it. When his lips touched her hand, he sparked the soul bond, and she gave out a loud gasp.

"Antonin," she breathed. She was still clearly in pain, but she could obviously recognize that the man holding her hand was no threat. "Fuck. This would've been so much worse if Lucius and James were here again. It wouldn't have been so bad yesterday, but they thought they were getting their wife and sister back, so they sped up the process. I'm starting to… know too much about her."

"Get her home," Loki ordered to Theo. "And don't come back without warning, and not in public."

"Wait!" Alexia looked to Dolohov. "Will you help us when the time comes?"

Dolohov smirked at her. "Anything for you, my Dorogaya."

Relieved, she let Theo pull her through the portal that Bertie opened - for once, he did his job and stayed there to watch them - and into her office. Not three minutes after she collapsed into her chair, James rushed into the room. She winced at the sight of him, and he stopped with wide eyes. "Lex? I felt you leave, but you're back and not- not right. What's wrong? You don't seem hurt."

"Lexi, it's just James," Theo reminded her. "Your brother. What you saw earlier, I know you have those memories, but they didn't happen for you. James loves you and he's worried for you."

"C'mere," James said. He walked over and grabbed his sister in a large, warm hug that had her immediately wondering why she'd been so worried to begin with. "You know what'll make you feel better?"

"Huh?"

"A pillow fort!"
