It's the 14th anniversary of the show! So of course I had to update today.

Just as the TV switched on, everyone gasped, seeing the older but familiar face on the screen.

"Is that…"

"No way!"

"Oh, my god."

"Hey guys!" An older Phineas said from the screen. He looked to be in his late teen, more mature than the child sitting with them but still having the excitement from his childhood. "I guess you guys must all be thinking the same question now. And I'm here to answer it. So here it is."

He took a deep breath as if to ground himself before looking at the camera seriously. "Yes, fortune cookies can predict the future."

Laughter could be heard off-screen, and a bunch of pistachios was thrown at him by someone.

"Take this seriously, you dweep! We're messing with the timeline right now." An older female voice was heard, but everyone could recognize that familiar shout.

"Is that Candace?" Jeremy asked curiously.

"Come on Candace. I had to do it!"

"Just because you know about it doesn't mean you have to bring it up every time!"

"Candace is right guys." An Indian accented voice said. "The faster we do this the less chance of us getting caught by the Bureau of Time Travel!"

"It's Baljeet!" Ginger exclaimed.

"Relax, buddy. We have Professor Time to vouch for us." Phineas said without a care. "And why am I the only one in front of the camera?"

"We're hoping that you will be the only one to get the blame if we fail." A British voice said, and laughter came from off-screen again.

"Ferb!"

"Oh no! I am not the only one who's gonna get in trouble!" He went off-screen for a moment and came back dragging an older Candace and Ferb. "We thought this idea together, so we're going to do it together."

"Fine, we'll do this together." Candace said in an annoyed voice, but there was a smile on her face. She turned and faced the camera. "Hey, guys. The reason we sent this cartoon series might be obvious by now. We wanted our younger selves to know about Perry."

"And to busted us." Ferb interrupted with a smirk.

"Yes, and to bust you." Candace rolled her eyes, making the boys snicker. "And I did bust you! I said I'm never going to give up and I did it."

"Looks like you got your wish." Stacy teased, but Candace did not notice. She was looking at her older self, who seem so relaxed next to her brothers. While Candace was sort of okay with most of her brothers' shenanigans now, she still was not very comfortable with it. But this future-Candace is so at ease with her brothers that Candace couldn't help but feel a little envious.

They shared a secretive smile before turning back to the camera.

"Anyway, it's true. Perry's a secret agent. And there's a perfectly good reason he didn't tell us."

"Not exactly a good reason." Phineas said.

"Phineas!"

"I'm not blaming Perry! But I am blaming OWCA."

"OWCA?" Milly asked, confused.

"Organization Without a Cool Acronym. It's the organization that Perry works for." Vanessa explained.

"Now I'm definitely sure I have heard that before." Jeremy stated.

"On that note, Perry can finally let us know that he's a secret agent. So can all the other animal agents. Thanks to the best lawyer ever." Phineas said, gesturing to Candace.

"Lawyer?" Linda asked.

"Guess you do make it after all." Jeremy said to Candace, who beamed happily.

"Well, I did have a lot of time to study this case." Candace said bashfully.

"Perry can technically come on screen here but…" Phineas suddenly seems ashamed, fiddling with his ear.

"He doesn't think younger Phineas would appreciate seeing him." Ferb said.

"What?" Phineas asked, confused.

"I wasn't that angry back then!"

"You were furious when you first found out Phineas."

"And you're terrifying when you're angry. It's like you turn into a completely different person." Candace said, having faced his anger sometimes.

"Am I really that bad?" Phineas asked.

"It's because you don't usually get angry." Isabella consoled.

"Anyway, there's also one more thing." Phineas said, changing the subject. "This isn't the first time you guys found out about Agent P."

Silence fell at those words. This isn't the first time? When else would they have met him?

"We did meet him once before. More than once for me." Candace stated.

"Candace, remember that time you hallucinated Perry as a secret agent? At Bad beard Lake?" Phineas said suddenly.

"And that time I dreamed you guys getting busted!" Candace suddenly realized. "And the Wizard of Ox dream! Oh my god, just how long have I known this?!"

"And we have included those adventure in this series too. But this is the one that will explain it all."

The box with the DVDs shook, and a single DVD came out. Jeremy walked up to it and picked it up, his eyes widening in shock.

"Um, guys? You all didn't went goth last summer, did you?" he asked, showing them the cover of the disk where Agent P was standing in the front, flanked by the Flynn-Fletcher siblings, all wearing black and ready to fight.

"It's longer than the rest. And since we don't want Mom to go into a panic, we think you guys should watch some more of our other adventures before watching it."

"We might pop up from time to time again. Bye."

The screen went black, and everyone just stared.

"Anyone else feeling freaked out?" Buford asked.

"Well, there's not really a reason to freak out." Gretchen reasoned. "It's just time travel done to the extreme."

"You want to be a lawyer, Candace?" Linda asked.

"Yeah, I was thinking of looking into a few law schools."

"That's terrific, sweetheart! Oh, I'm so happy for you!" she said, hugging Candace closely.

"Mom! I haven't become a lawyer yet!"

"Well, I have complete faith in you."

"Especially since we know you will succeed in the future now." Lawrence added.

"Can we come back to the problem here?" Buford asked. "How does Candace know about your agent platypus? And what do they mean we all met him once before?"

"Well, I thought he was just my hallucination. You remember the orange moss mess, right?" Everyone except Jeremy and Vanessa said yes. "Well, I saw Perry as a secret agent and I think he saved me from drowning, I guess."

"Wait, what?" Linda asked, not having heard that part.

"I'm sure it will be shown in those DVDs." Candace remarked carelessly. "What I'm curious about is this one."

She took the movie DVD from Jeremy, looking at the familiar yet different figures of themselves. "I don't remember this at all. Do you guys?" Everyone shook their head in denial. "Huh. Should we watch this?"

"Well, they did tell us to watch our other adventures." Ferb replied, taking out another DVD and putting it in.

"Should I be worried about a heart attack?" Linda asked.

"We have a defibrillator and Ferb trained to use it."

"Of course you are."

The scene opens up, showing a bird flying by the sun and getting burned by it.

"This is Stanky Dog comin' to you on the hottest day of the summer! Unless you live at the beach, I say take it easy and do nothin' today." The radio broadcasted as the camera shifts to the Flynn-Fletcher backyard. "Yup, just find yourself a shady tree, and maybe an aquatic mammal of some sort, and blow the whole day off."

"Funny how you got two for two there." Vanessa said, amused.

"Come on, Ferb." Phineas said, getting up. "If we let a little heat stop us from having the best day ever, then the morning DJs win."

"Something against morning DJs Phineas?" Jeremy asked.

"It was a phase."

"Ooh, boy, it's hot today! So, what are you up to?" Linda asked, coming outside with Candace.

"We're making our own beach, right here in the backyard." Phineas said as Ferb filled a small sandbox with water.

"Oh, how cute." Linda said obliviously. "Well, I'm off for my spa day. You boys behave yourselves and don't bother your father. He's finally cleaning out the basement."

"Bye, Mom! Yes! You heard her. We can't bug dad which makes me in charge... by default." Candace announced.

"Not what I said Candace."

A pause came as the boys continued to fill the sandbox. "Carry on."

"We're gonna need more sand." Phineas said after Candace left.

"Let me guess. You didn't build a sandbox beach, did you?" Vanessa asked.

"Hey, where's Perry?"

Perry walks to a mushroom in the backyard and jumps inside it. The mushroom turned out to be an entrance that dropped him down into his lair from a tube without his hat. He moves to his right, and his hat falls on his head from another tube.

"Okay, that was cool." Phineas said with Ferb nodding.

"Where did the mushroom even come from? We don't have one in our backyard." Candace demanded.

He goes to his seat and switches on the computer.

"Good morning, Agent P." Major Monogram said. "Lawn gnomes across the Tri-State Area are disappearing, leaving thousands of gardens unprotected from the evils of black magic. We suspect Doofenshmirtz."

"Why? There might be other evil scientists who would do it." Ginger reasoned.

"And who believes in black magic nowadays."

"I wouldn't write that off Baljeet. This is Danville." Adyson answered.

"Get right on it." Monogram ordered, and Perry left with a salute.

Back in the backyard.

"Aren't you a little young to be a landscape contractor?" a contractor questioned as a truck of sand was brought to the backyard.

"Yes, yes I am."

"Hi, Phineas." Isabella called out with a dreamy look and voice.

"This is still the most unbelievable part." Phineas uttered to himself.

"Oh, hey Isabella."

"What'cha doin'?"

"Building a beach. Check it out." Ferb is shown posing on a giant sprinkler. Sand is loaded out, and water fills the backyard.

"Just how big was this beach?" Linda asked, worried again.

"You'll see mom. You'll see. He he he" Candace laughed.

"Can me and the other Fireside girls be lifeguards?" Isabella asked. "We need to earn our Aquatic-Safety badges."

"Sure."

"Phineas and Ferb are the main reason we have so many patches." Gretchen said.

Inside the house, Candace is lying on the seat next to the window with the fan on. "I mean, I've been a friend of Suzy's longer than Katie, so I should've been invited to that party first. I don't care if they're lab partners! We're locker neighbors. And locker neighbors trumps lab partners any day." She gasps, hearing a dolphin's sound.

"Anyone else feeling a déjà vu?"

"Sorry, Stacy. Gotta go."

"Welcome to our beach." Phineas declared, standing next to the sandbox.

"Hah! You call that a beach? This is WAY below your usual standard. This isn't even worth a call to mom. You know," Ferb hits a button on a remote, and the fence starts to go down, revealing a real beach. "if you guys ever want to be popular, you're gonna have to stop playing in sandboxes."

"Kinda ironic since- "

"I know Stacy. Don't need to remind me."

She suddenly gets hit by a beach ball. "Hey!" she turns around to see the beach with palm trees, beach balls, exotic birds, coastline, and all.

"So Candace, what do you think?" Phineas asked.

"That's it! I'm calling Mom." She takes out her phone when a voice calls her.

"Hey, Candace." A voice calls out.

"Finally! I make an appearance." Stacy exclaimed.

"I have a feeling you'll be making more." Ginger reassured.

"Jenny? Stacy?" she asked, confused.

"You never told us you had a beach in your backyard!"

"Who's that?" Vanessa asked.

"That's Jenny. We kinda drifted apart but we still hang out sometimes."

"You're going to be the most popular girl in the neighborhood."

"I will?"

"I just saw Jeremy and his buddies with their surfboards." Stacy hinted.

"Jeremy's here? Gotta go!" she runs off, leaving her phone behind.

"Is Jeremy really all that?" Vanessa questioned bluntly.

"Oh, don't get her started." Stacy warned.

Pan to Perry, who is disguised as a lawn gnome in the backyard.

Everyone started laughing when they saw Perry's disguise. He looked nothing like a gnome. They weren't even sure what he looked like, just that he looked absolutely ridiculous.

"How did no one notice him?" Molly asked, astonished.

"In fairness we were kind of awed by the beach." Holly reasoned.

He suddenly gets sucked into the ground. It is revealed to be a device of Doofenshmirtz, who is underground with lots of lawn gnomes and a large monitor.

"Yes, yes! Just look at the bounty of gnome riches! Oh, this is a strange one." Doofenshmirtz stated, taking the disguised Perry lawn gnome. The lawn gnome punches Doof in the face.

"Wait, who are you?" He asked. Perry takes off his fake beard and gnome hat. "... A platypus? ..." He puts on his fedora. "PERRY THE PLATYPUS?! You are mine now!"

"Really? He can't recognize Perry without his hat?" Candace asked.

"Well, there are many platypuses in Danville." Phineas said.

"There are?"

Doofenshmirtz presses a button on a remote, and the garage door opens. "Oh no, wait, wait, wait. That was the garage door opener. You are mine now!" He presses another button, and the large monitor activates. "And that was the TV remote. I've got to start labeling these things." Perry watches this all wide-eyed and bewildered.

"Aha! YOU ARE MINE NOW!" He presses the button and a cage falls on top of Perry. Doofenshmirtz starts laughing maniacally. "Finally, I will rid myself of you! But first, turn your attention to the giant screen and..." He brings out another control from his coat and presses the button, only for the garage door to close. "Hmm, maybe I need to turn the cable on first?"

"Your dad's a moron Vanessa." Buford said.

"I know."

Cuts back to the backyard beach.

"Let's get this beach party started!" Phineas said as the brothers wore their beach party hats.

Well, we'll wake up early and wax our surfboards down!

(Hit the beach, yeah we'll hit the beach)

Throw our board shorts on and head for surfin' town

(we'll hit the beach, yeah we'll hit the beach)

"Hey, look! I can see our house from up here!" Phineas called out from the glider.

"That was pitiful, Phineas."
