The next day after the gang made the mall their new lair, Ryan quietly entered Harley's room while she was asleep. He then place a box covered in black and red wrapping paper with a red bow on it.

"Good bye Harley" Ryan whispered.

Later Ryan armed himself with grenades, his guns, a couple of knives on outsides of his boots along with his sword strapped to his back then he walked out of the mall and walked to Joker's new lair

Ryan entered Joker's new lair and saw that he was trying to log into his wifi again.

"Ugh, Hey does anyone know our new wifi password?" Joker asked.

"Have you tried 'Joker's an asshole'?" Ryan asked as Joker looked at him.

"Archer, what are you doing here?" Joker asked standing up. "Got tired of working with Harley huh? Can't say I blame you"

"Not even close" Ryan said "I'm here to do what not even Batman has the balls to do...I'm going to kill you"

"You kill me!?" Joker asked as he busted out laughing. "And here I thought you had no sense of humor! But that was fucking funny"

Ryan just stood there glaring at Joker while continued laughing out then he stopped.

"You're not joking are you...?" Joker asked.

"No, because as long as your Pennywise ass is still around Harley will never be happy!" Ryan said

"Penny who?" Joker asked confused.

"Pennywise, the clown from IT?" Ryan said.

"From what?" Joker asked again.

"IT the movie about a murderest clown that lives in the sewers?" Ryan said starting to get annoyed.

"Never heard of him" Joker said.

"God you are so stupid!" Ryan yelled "No wonder Harley dumped your ass"

"Ok, so anyway you not here to kill me because you hate me?" Joker asked.

"That's just an added bonus" Ryan smirked.

"Alright, but I was never one to play fair" Joker said as he whistled for his goons.

Soon Ryan found himself surrounded by Jokers goons and they all had weapons.

"Bring it on assholes!" Ryan said drawing his sword.

One of the goons charged at Ryan as the assassin stabbed him in the chest and threw his dead body into another goon. A different goon tried to hit Ryan with a baseball but Ryan grabbed the bat and elbowed him in the gut then knocked him out with a punch to the face. Ryan then fought another goon who had a machete then the assassin literally disarmed the goon as his blood sprayed everywhere. Unfortunately Ryan was then blindsided by a another goon who hit him in the back of the head with a pipe while another punched him in the face brass knuckles which knocked him down. Joker then stood in front of Ryan smugly smoking a cigar.

"Just say you're a wannabe and I'll call it off" Joker said as Ryan stood up and spat out some blood.

"Fuck...You" Ryan said.

"Hmm fine. Kill him" Joker said walking away while Ryan started fighting more goons.

Back at the abandoned mall Harley woke up and stretched her arms. Then she noticed the gift next to her bed.

"What's this?" Harley asked as she opened the box and inside was a new black and red bat inside but this one was made of steel and had spikes on the top of it. Harley then noticed the note on the box. She grabbed and read it then let out a horrified gasp.

Harley then dashed to the center of the mall where Ivy and the others were having breakfast.

"Have any of you guys seen Ryan?" Harley asked with a worried look on her face.

"No, we all assumed her was sleeping in" Ivy said "What's wrong?"

"He's not here" Harley replied "He's gonna kill Joker!"

"Egads!" Clayface said.

"Say what!?" Pyscho said

"Are you serious!?" King Shark asked.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa" Ivy said walking up to Harley. "How do you know he's gonna kill Joker?"

"He gave me this new bat as gift and this note was attached to the box" Harley said giving the note to Ivy.

"What's it say?" King Shark askedas Ivy read the note.

"Harley, I realise now that as long as that bleached asshole is alive, you'll never be free and happy. I was hoping to give you this bat on your birthday but I might not be around when that happens because I'm planning to do whatever it takes to kill Joker. Give my best to Ivy, Sharky, Clayface, and Dr. Pyscho. You've all been a great crew and great friends. And Harley, I wanna thank you for all the wonderful years of friendship we had together. You've made very happy and it was an honor to fight along side you. Love, Ryan"

"We have to help him" Harley said "If Joker kills him I'll never forgive myself!"

"We will Harley" Ivy said.

"Count me in" Clayface said

"Me too" King Shark.

"Ugh, fine I'm in" Pyscho said.

"Thanks guys" Harley said "Now let's go kick some bleached ass!"

The gang ran out of the mall to go help their friend in need.

Later back at Joker's new lair, Ryan was sent flying through a wall covered in bruises and blood as he saw Joke with his sword laughing and walking to him with his goons.

"Did you really think you could kill me?" Joker asked "The top super villain In Gotham? You're nothing but a wannabe, you're not even a real villain. Just a boy trying to play with the adults. Once I'm done with you I'm going to find Harley and kill her. Any last words Archer?"

"When Harley kills you...I'll be waiting for you in hell" Ryan said weakly.

"Alright then. Goodbye Ryan Archer" Joker said about to strike Ryan down. While Ryan had his eyes closed he heard a loud clang. He then opened his eyes to see Harley protecting him with her new bat.

Harley then knocked Ryan's sword out of Joker's hands and punched him in the face while Ivy and the others were fighting the goons.

"Harley..." Ryan said "You shouldn't be here"

"Neither should you" Harley said kneeling down "Why are you here?"

Ryan then saw the Joker aiming a gun at Harley's head then he threw one of his knives into the clown's shoulder as he screamed in pain then the assassin stood and punched him in the face.

"Get out of here Harley" Ryan said "This is my fight"

"No it's not!" Harley said "It's like you said, If we die we die together"

"How touching" Joker said pulling the knife out of his shoulder. "I guess I'll kill you both!"

Joker then charged at Harley while Ryan punched him in the face then Harley hit his head with her bat covering Joker's face with his own blood. Ryan then grabbed his sword and slashed Joker's chest multiple times and kicked him back a few feet. Harley then swung her new bat so hard it broke his nose and made him fall down to the ground.

Ryan then stood above Joker raising his sword about to kill Joker until Harley got in his way.

"Get out of my way Harley" Ryan said.

"Ryan listen to me" Harley pleaded "I know you want him dead and so do I. But not yet. I want to see the look on his face when we're incharge of Gotham. Once that happens we will kill him I promise"

Ryan looked over Harley's shoulder and growled at the beaten down clown and growled.

""Please Ryan, for me" Harley begged as Ryan lowered his sword.

"Consider yourself lucky clown" Ryan said he and Harley we about to walk away until Ryan collapsed onto the ground. All Ryan heard was Harley calling out his name before he blacked out.

Later Ryan regained consciousness and found himself in a hospital room on a hospital bed while Harley and the others were around his bed.

"Ugh, what happened?" Ryan asked.

"You lost a lot of blood fighting Joker and his goons" Harley said

"Yeah, and we almost lost you" King Shark said.

"Still that was a stupid thing to do" Pyscho said as Clayface smacked him upside the head. "OW!"

"Silence you buffoon" Clayface said.

"Still, we're glad your ok" Ivy said.

"Hey guys, could you give me and Ryan a moment alone?" Harley asked.

"Sure Harles" Ivy said as she and the others left the room.

Harley then looked and Ryan with tears in her eyes. "Ryan, why would you do something so stupid and reckless? You could've died."

"When we were in your subconscious and saw all those Jokers there. It made me angry" Ryan said "I figured if I killed him you could be happy again"

"Well you're wrong..." Harley said confusing Ryan. "If you had died, I'd never be happy again. You mean more to me than anything in this world."

"I never thought about that" Ryan said "I'm so sorry Harley"

"Just don't do it again Ryan" Harley said as she gently hugged him.

"Hey Harley, when we were in your mind I saw the memory of the first time we had sex" Ryan said

"You...You do?" Harley asked blushing.

"Did you ever...regret doing that?" Ryan asked afraid of what the answer might be.

"Why do you?" Harley asked.

"No..." Ryan said "Not for one second"

Harley then had a big smile on her face as she blushed deep red.

"Ryan I...I..." Harley said. Then out of nowhere she gave Ryan a loving kiss on the lips.

"Harley...?" Ryan said as she pulled away from his lips.

"I love you Ryan" Harley said "I've loved you ever since we were kids. I'm sorry it took me so long to realise it. Joker never treated me the way you do. I was so blind by my obsession with him that I didn't realise that my one true love was by my side the whole"

"I love you too Harley" Ryan said shocking Harley to her core.

"You do!?" Harley asked.

"I always have" Ryan said "I just never told because I thought you'd always love that asshole Joker. But now I'm just glad your here."

"And I promise I'll never leave your side again my love" Harley said as the new couple shared another loving kiss"
