Chapter 2
A new Heroine?
Danny was able to take the strange bee girl down to an alley to keep her from the cameras when the news showed up. He lay her against the wall as he waiting for Sam and Tucker. He looks at the sleeping girl and couldn't help but think how beautiful she was. Puts Paulina to shame for sure. Danny shook his head. This was not the time to fall for a pretty girl. He needed to know who she was and why she was in Amity Park. He heard a groan and saw she was about to wake up.
Star felt like her body was on fire. It felt like she was stung by a whole beehive, and she was still recovering from it. She opens her eyes and saw she was in an alley, with Danny Phantom! Star could hardly believe it. She was with Danny Phantom, the Ghost Hero of Amity Park!
"Are you okay miss?" He asked her.
Star couldn't answer. She knew that Paulina goes on talking about how handsome he was, but now that she was in front of him, he was clearly more than she thought.
"Miss?" Danny asked, a little worried.
"Y-yes?" Star asked, trying not to blush.
"Good, you can talk. I asked if you're were okay?" Danny said.
Star nodded. That's when she heard something buzz behind her. Star looks and was shocked to see wings on her back along with an abdomen. She quickly looks over the rest of her and saw she was very different.
'I look like a bee?!' She thought shocked.
"Miss, calm down. You look like you seen a ghost, and I don't mean me." Danny said.
Star took a deep breath, and relax. She was one of the smart students in school. While nowhere near Jazz Fenton, Star was able to get good grades without needing the nerds to do it for her. Danny saw her relax and knew it was time to ask some questions.
"Miss, I have a few questions to ask you. First, who are you?" Danny asked.
Star blinks. It was clear that Danny Phantom didn't recognize her.
"I...don't know." She said.
"Really? But saw you step out the portal in the museum." Danny said.
That made Star blink. The portal...the portal turned her into a bee?
"All I remember is getting knock into the portal and somehow turned it on. The next thing I knew, I was feeling like I was being stung and seeing this strange girl in front of me. Everything else after that was a blur." Star said.
Danny was surprised. It sounded like she was in the same accident as him. That means, she was a bystander that got hurt! Danny felt bad. He never wanted anyone to get hurt.
"I'm sorry. This is my fault." Danny said, sadly.
"What do you mean?" Star asked.
"I was so busy trying to stop Skulker that I didn't notice you were nearby. Had I known, I would have got you to safety." Danny said.
Star was surprised. The Ghost Boy felt bad what happen to her?
"Phantom, it's okay. It's my fault, really. I should have gotten out of the room, but I didn't want the ghost to attack me. I had no time to get away when one of those missiles hit the display next to me." Star said, feeling her wings buzz.
"Skulker call you a humanoid bee. And I can tell you look like a human but with parts of a bee." Danny said.
"Hmm, I think these are parts of a honey bee," Star said, looking over them again.
Danny could only nod before he heard something calling his name.
"Danny?!"
Sam and Tucker stare in shock as they saw the strange girl. Star blinks and looks at him.
"You know them?" She asked.
"Errr, yes! They're the first human I meet when I came to Earth. They help me out from time to time." Danny said.
"Dude, who's this?" Tucker asked.
"I think the real question is what is this?" Sam asked.
"I'm not sure who she is, but I do know what she is, a Humanoid Bee," Danny said.
"She pretty," Tucker said, and something with Star acted.
Her wings buzz and she float off the ground a bit. She somehow moves her abdomen forward and pops her stinger out.
"Don't come near me!" She growls.
Everyone backs away as Star blinks. She carefully lands on her feet, and shook her head.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me." She said.
"Well, I think because you felt threaten by Tucker. Since you're part bee, you were ready to drive him off." Danny said, getting confused looks.
"What? I read." He said, annoyed.
Star shook her head. This was too weird. She sighs and looks at Danny.
"Phantom, I'm so lost and confuse right now. I don't know anything about this new body." She said.
Danny understood her feelings. He was the same way with his powers. Took him a while to learn his new abilities.
"Well, I might not be a bee, but maybe I can help control your powers," Danny said.
"You will?" Star asked, shocked.
"Phantom, a word!" Sam said, pulling Danny away from Star.
"What's wrong, Sam?" He asked.
"Are you sure it's a good idea to train her?" Sam asked.
"Guys, she was in the same accident as me. I know how she feels." Danny said.
"I don't know dude. It seems so strange to me." Tucker said.
"Look, she might not have the same powers, but she clearly needs help. I'm trying to offer that help." Danny said.
Sam still didn't like it. There was something about that girl that screams she wasn't who she was.
"Look, just trust me," Danny said, looking back at the Bee Girl.
Star actually spent the time relooking over her body. It was clear that the wings and abdomen were a part of her, and these new clothes were fashionable. She stated before she didn't mind bright and dark colors mixing. Still, it was weird having a body that wasn't hers. Though she was still a teen in it, her body took on more of a slim shape, almost like an hourglass. Even her modest B-size breasts grew to a C-size. She heard Phantom step up and look at him.
"Sorry about that. Anyways, would you like to start training?" Danny asked.
'Training?! With Danny Phantom?!' Star thought in shock.
Star blushes and looks away. She felt her wings buzz as she tries to speak.
"S-s-sure! I would like to be trained by you." She said, shyly.
'If Paulina knew about this, she would freak!' Star thought.
"Um, Dude, two problems," Tucker spoke up.
"One, we know nothing about her powers. And two, we need to get back to class!" He said.
Danny facepalm himself. Even Star was surprised.
'I completely forgot!' They both thought at the same time.
"I guess training will have to wait," Sam said.
Danny sighs and turns to the Bee Girl.
"I guess we have to pick this up later. I need to make sure these two return safely to their class." Danny said.
"Sure, I might try to learn some things about my powers in the meantime," Star said, really hoping to figure out how she could turn back human.
"Okay, I see you later...um, what is your name?" Danny asked.
Star wasn't sure about giving her real name to him. All of this happened too fast.
"Just call me Honey for now." She said.
"Honey?" Sam asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It's for two reasons, one I have parts of a honey bee, and two, bees eat honey," Star said, feeling annoyed with her.
"Come on, guys. Let's get you back." Danny said, leading them out of the alley.
Danny looks back at the Bee Girl and smiles. Star blushes and smiles back. Danny then flew out and Star sighs.
"Okay, let's start with flying." She said, looking at her wings.
Star started to flap her wings and soon made a buzzing noise. She slowly started to hover and lifted off the ground.
"Okay, take it slow. Don't rush." She said, letting herself float higher.
"Whoa!" Star cried out as she felt herself fall forward and hit the ground.
Her wings stop buzzing as she groans.
"Okay, let try that again." She said, standing up.
Star spent the next five minutes trying to fly before she could finally stop falling. Now all she had to do was find somewhere else to hide and turn back into her human self.
Later...
Star flew through the air, trying to keep herself straight as she did so. She was still looking for a place to hide to chance back, once she learned how. She flew until she heard an alarm coming from Amity Park Bank.
'Strange, no one robs the town bank. Not since that weird guy with that staff.' Star thought and decides to check it out.
She carefully peeks in and saw some robbers order people on the ground. She notices one woman having a bit of trouble due to being pregnant, but the robbers didn't care. One looks ready to hit her in the stomach, possibly to hurt the unborn baby. Star wasn't going to let that happen. Without thinking, she flew through the doors, and kicks the robber on his side. The other robbers turn, and were shocked to see her. Even the people could hardly believe it.
'Nice going, Star! Out of fry pan and into the fire.' She thought, but she didn't want these people to get hurt.
"What the hell?! That's not a ghost!" One of the Robbers said.
Star stood ready. She counted three robbers, each of them armed with normal guns as well as some blasters. She guessed in cause they ran into Danny Phantom. The robber that tries to punch the pregnant woman started to raise his gun and Star acted. She dashes forward, knocking the gun from his hand before punching him in his face. The Robber was sent flying back as the others started to draw their guns.
Star acted once more. Then everything appears to slow down. Star could see that robbers were moving slowly to draw their weapons as the people started to cover their heads. She decides to figure it out later. She rushes up to the nearest Robber and punches him. She then jumps toward the second one, and landed a kick. She spotted the third Robber getting up and quickly headbutt him.
Everything returns to normal, and the two standing robbers were knocked to the floor as the third was knocked out. Star heard the police sirens and knew she couldn't stay. The police were more likely to shoot her, and she didn't want to hurt them. She spotted an open window and quickly flew through it. Just as the police rush inside.
Star flew above the town and sighs. She just stopped a bank robbery and saves some of the people. And it felt good!
"Is this what Phantom feels when he saves the day? Maybe I should take up the hero business as well!" Star said before calming down.
"First thing first. Learn more about this new body and powers." She said, flying away.
Elsewhere...
The Museum Owner could hardly believe it. The Portal was active! However, something was different. He read the power reading and discover 5% was missing. It was strong enough to remain open without the last 5%, none of his followers could travel through.
"Sting! What is the meaning of this?!"
The now named Sting jumps and bows as a humanoid bee appears in front of the portal. Due to the orange light from the portal, he couldn't make out much of him.
"My king, the portal is working perfectly! I discover that we need honey to keep the portal open but..."
"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR YOUR EXCUSES!" The Man shouted.
Sting lowers his head, hiding the growl under his throat.
"You know the portal needs to be at full power for my army to travel through." He said.
"My King, if you let me explain, I have discovered that 5% of the power is missing. I plan on looking for it and get that power back." He said.
"Hmm, the portal is strong enough for me to send one of my soldiers though. He will help find the missing power. And Sting..." He said.
"Yes, my king?
"Don't fail me." He said, disappearing from the portal.
Sting growls as he looks away from the portal. Sting worked hard on this plan. He got a few bees to follow him, and everything was coming together. But this unseen event causes a loop in his plans. Without the last 5% of the power, he couldn't complete his plan. He decides to look over the camera footage, maybe he would find that one that stole the power.
And that ends this chapter. Also, Honey might not be Star's Bee name. It's a backup in case I can't think of anything else. So, Danny is going to train Star with her powers, though they have different powers. Both of them are unknowingly falling for each other, but it will take a while. And it appears that the Museum Owner is working for a King Bee. And what about the girl that Star saw? She come into play later, if I don't forget.
