Chapter 9

More Bees

Star told Danny everything, and he was quite shocked. A third party was in the works, and plans to overthrow the king of the bees.

"This could be a problem. If they are planning to build their army, then we need to stop them." He said.

"But we don't know who they will target. I didn't have time to find a list." Star said.

"Good point." Danny agreed.

Without any way of knowing who they will go after, the two were in the dark. Star then faces away from Danny and remembers something else.

"Phantom, they know." She said.

"What?" He asked, confused.

"My human form, they know who I really am. They said that they'll tell everyone who I really am if I try to stop them." She said.

Danny understood her. After all, he was in the same boat as Vlad. However, he touches Honey's arm and smiles.

"Hey, don't worry about it. Besides, you know their secret too." He said.

"Huh?" Star asked, confused.

"You know that the owner is working for the Humanoid Bees. And is dating one of them. If they tell everyone who you are, then you can return the favor by telling everyone the owner's true self." He said.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"I know something about the mayor that no one else knows. Sadly he knows about me too. We can't tell everyone who we are without risky the other." Danny said.

Star had no idea their mayor was hiding a secret. Since Phantom knew it, he had an upper hand. But he can't tell anyone without risky his secret, just like her.

"That's...a surprise." She said.

"Yeah, but don't worry about it. We'll stop their plan." Danny said, smiling.

Star smiles and kisses his cheek. Both teens froze and blush from the action.

"Sorry! I wanted to thank you, and the kiss was the first thing that pops into my mind." Star said, blushing.

"It's fine. I like it." Danny blushed.

"So what now?" Star asked.

"I guess we can patrol the town," Danny said.

"Patrol? You mean like, together?" Star blush.

"If you want to..." Danny said, blushing.

"Sure! I don't mind." Star said, rubbing her arm.

'He wants me to patrol with him! This is real!' Star thought.

'I ask a bee girl to patrol with me! Did I really just said that?!' Danny thought as well.

"So, shall we get going?" Danny asked, fighting his blush.

"Yes, let's!" Star said, also fighting her blush.

The two teens flew through the air, trying to keep an eye out for anyone that could be kidnapped by Lily.

Speaking of her...

Lily was looking for her next prey. While upset that they lost the girl they need to get the portal back to full, she knew she wouldn't be able to stop them. She thought back to the girl her double spoke to and smirks. She also knew that she had a huge hopeless crush on the ghost boy. Maybe she could use her.

She then remembers another bee telling that another girl also likes the Ghost Boy and couldn't stand the other girls being around him. That two people she could use. But she could only hold one at a time and her doubles can't erase the people's memories as she can. But maybe she doesn't have to. She reaches out with her mind and summons some bees that form together.

"Good, you go after the second girl. I'll take the black wearing one." She told her double.

"Yes, my queen." Her double said, bowing.

The two spit off, heading towards their prey.

Paulina's Mansion...

After Paulina returns home, and took a quick shower, she marches straight to her room, clearly upset. She couldn't believe that girl! She just swoops in from nowhere and takes her love! She tries to take her out, but she was too quick. Not to mention that her stinger really hurt. Paulina sat on her bed and growls.

"That stupid perra! She won't get so lucky next time! I will win back Phantom's heart." She growls.

"I can help with that."

Paulina turns and saw the bee woman that attacked her school and nearly caught Phantom. She was about to run, but the Bee Woman calmly walking over to her.

"Easy, my dear. I'm not here to hurt you." She said.

Paulina looked unsure, but she didn't give off a threatening look.

"What do you want?" She asked.

"Have you thought about my offer? A chance to be something more?" Lily said, making Paulina think.

"More than a human?" She asked.

"Yes. I also know the truth about Honey. Who she really is." Lily said, surprising Paulina.

"You do?! Tell me! So I can get my ghost boy back!" Paulina demands.

"Calm down. I'll tell you, but first, you must accept my offer." Lily said.

"You want me to give up being human, right? Tell me why." Paulina asked.

"For two reasons. One, you can put that girl in her place and show Phantom that you're worth his heart." Lily said.

Paulina did like the sound of that. By showing Phantom she was a better bee girl, would have him at her side. Living happily together.

"And the second?" Paulina asked.

"It's more a "me" thing, but I can't stand humans. However, I do see a pretty girl in front of me. She's just being blocked by the form she has. By becoming one of us, your true beauty will be shown." Lily said.

Paulina thought about it. It was clear that Phantom was into Bee Girls. Maybe she could be one too.

"Very well, I accept!" Paulina said.

"Good, now it will take a while for you to turn into a bee. Plus I have to take you to my hive." Lily said.

"Your hive? It's going to feel with honey, isn't it?" Paulina asked.

"I'm a honey bee, dear. It's unavoidable." Lily said, readying her abdomen.

Paulina sighs. Might as well.

"Okay, so who's is Honey?" Paulina asked.

"Why, it's your friend. Star Skylight." Lily said, slamming her abdomen over her.

It didn't take long for Paulina to be fully sucked in. Since she was the double, Paulina will remain trap until her real self gets the other girl. And she didn't want her to suffocate in her abdomen and left her stinger inside her abdomen so she could breathe.

"Welcome to the army...foolish girl." She smirks.

Sam's Mansion...

Sam march towards her room, ignoring her parents. She couldn't believe that Danny was training a new hero. And not any hero, a bee girl! Not to mention the way they kept looking at each other. The way they stare into each other eyes. Sam could stop a growl from coming out of her throat when she thought of that.

"It not like Danny to fall for a new girl right off the bat! There's something about I don't trust. I need to get Danny to understand that." Sam said.

But the question was, how? Danny was head over heels with that girl, and Tucker won't listen. She still didn't understand why the girl looks so familiar. Something that told her she was not the girl she was claiming to be. Something that told her she was wrong for Danny.

"My, my, you're full of green ivy."

Sam turns and saw Lily stand in her room.

"How did you?!" Sam jumps up.

"Bees can see in ultraviolet light. And you're admitting a lot of green ivy from your body." Lily said.

"What do you want?" Sam asked.

"Easy, a chance to give you what you want. A chance to prove you're right about the girl." Lily said.

"No, thank you! I'll stay human." Sam said, knowing what she asking.

Many people heard that offer during the attack at school. Some people were even thinking about taking up her offer. Lily smirks. She already knew this girl would refuse. Lucky, she ready.

"Are you sure? I know about the girl's true self. I can tell you." Lily said, walking up to her.

Sam kept back up until she hit the wall. Lily came closer and smirks.

"Trust me, my dear...it will help you get that boy you're after." She whispers into her ear.

Sam blinks, wondering what she was talking about.

"What do you mean?" Sam asked.

Lily smiles. The bees told her that she would refuse each time someone brought up her feelings for the boy. Lily got her abdomen ready, and leads closer.

"Deny it as much as you want. Your lover found a new girl. And that is Star Skylight." She whispers.

Sam's eyes widen. Honey was Star?! Lily smirks and strikes. Sam was too late to dodge and felt herself get suck in the abdomen. Since Lily was the real one, it was a matter of time before Sam would forget everything and was reborn as a Bee. She flew out the window and saw her double fly up.

"I got the girl, my queen." She said.

"And I got mine. Let's head back." Lily smirks.

With Phantom and Honey...

The two teens kept flying and looking out for Lily. Sadly, they couldn't find her. Without any way of telling who they would go after, they were on a while goose chase.

"So much for patrol." Star sighs.

"Yeah, but it's nice flying with you," Danny said, blushing.

"Same here." Star blushed.

'Okay, Fenton, this is it. Just get to know her and take off from there.' Danny thought before turning to Honey.

"Honey? If you don't mind. Can you tell me about your human life?" Danny asked.

"My...human...life?" Star asked, shocked.

Star had to think about it. Very few people knew of her life at home, besides being rich. But Phantom was different than her friends. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to tell him.

"Well, I'm from a rich family. I never knew my father, but my mother was never in my life. I had to be raised by the staff she hires to watch over the house. Which she is never there! She always chasing after a man and having fun with them before finding a new man and doing it all over again. She didn't notice me at all! The second I was born, she shoves me right into our maid's arms, and went back to her old ways." Star said, not liking how her mother was treating her.

"Wow...and I thought my human life was bad. I didn't know that." Danny said, feeling sorry for her.

"It's fine. The maid that raises me was more of a mother to me than my own. She taught me a lot. But..." Star said before trailing off.

"But what?" Danny asked.

"I'm sorry, but I really don't want to talk about it anymore." She said.

Danny decided not to push it anymore and smiles.

"Okay. Still, I can't believe your own mother would do that! I mean, if my mom did that, I wouldn't know what I do!" Danny said.

Star smiles. He didn't want to push it. He respects her privacy. She leads over and kisses his cheek again.

"Thank you, Phantom." She said.

"You can call me Danny." He said.

"Star." Honey said.

"On hold, Star?" Danny asked.

"My first name. It's Star." Star said.

'Huh, strange. That's a name of an A-Lister I know.' Danny thought.

"That's a pretty name." He said, smiling.

Star blushed at that. Phantom like her name. The two floated closer, and looks into each other eyes. They started to lead closer and closing their eyes. Just when they were about it kiss, a blast shoot between them.

"I knew it! You two are together!"

They both turned and saw Valerie in her Red Huntress suit.

"Valerie?!" They said in unison.

"Get ready, ghost punk! I'm about to send you and your girlfriend a one-way ticket to the biggest pain in your life!" Valerie said, aiming her blaster at them.

Well, things just went from bad to worst. Not only did Lily caught both Paulina and Sam, but Valerie is after both her ex-boyfriend and her best friend. How will our heroes get out of this one?

By the way, I forget to mention that Danny doesn't have his ice powers yet, but I do plan on rewriting Urban Jungle with Star's bee powers. I'm not there yet. I still got a few more things to do before then.
