Walking with a few papers in her hands, aspiring reporter Lois Lane walked the halls of Metropolis High School as she prepared a few things for her next story. Walking through the door, she seemed to be startled to see an unusual figure standing in front of her. Leslie Willis. Her presence was enough to make Lois a little irritated.

(Lois) - Leslie Willis. What are you doing in my living room?

(Leslie) - Well, Lois, I've seen some of your reports and I'm here to give you a little help. - Lois seemed to keep a rather annoyed expression on her face, as if she heard, but didn't want to do anything for her. - I think I know what your paper needs to really get off the ground. A gossip column!

(Lois) - No, thank you. - The aspiring reporter had already refused on the spot, making it clear that she would not accept any offer or proposal from Leslie Willis.

(Leslie) - Are you crazy? - Put your hands on Lois's desk. - I'm giving you a once-in-a-lifetime chance. Don't you want your paper to be a success?

(Lois) - As much as I want to give my all around here, I have my limits. - She gives a smug little smile on her face, showing that she would not, in fact, accept anything from Leslie. - I'm not going to break the privacy of the students of this school, much less with a suggestion from you. - She lifted one of his hands, waving it as a sign for the blue-haired girl to leave his classroom. - Then you can turn around and walk out of here. If you're done bothering me...

Leslie started to leave the room, a little irritated to see that Lois had refused her suggestion. But that irritation gave her an idea. Seeing Lois sipping coffee while she fiddled with the computer, she closed her eyes, smiling smugly, and opened them, concentrating what appeared to be a small charge of electricity in the index fingers and thumb of her left hand. Launching a short burst, it ran through the wiring until it reached Lois' computer, causing the aspiring reporter to shock, startle, and knock over all the coffee in her hand.

Inside his living room, Leslie was giggling a little after the prank she had pulled on Lois, while slowly, Jason approached the girl, also laughing a little at the picture he had gotten.

(Jason) - How do you get these pictures?

(Leslie) - It's a natural charm, to tell you the truth. - Starts typing the name of the blog, calling him Java Jolt. - The moment I manage to capture the scene, it's simply priceless. Now, get ready, because I'm coming with everything.

(Jason) - You mean us, right?

(Leslie) - That. Besides, every good person needs an assistant. Are you ready to do the story? - He just nodded, showing how ready he was to act. Slowly, the posting of Lois' awkward moment began to gain Leslie more and more followers on his blog.

In a dark room, Jimmy Olsen was preparing some pictures of Superman inside, taking care that nothing happened to spoil them. Picking them up with a gripper, he hung them on a clothesline, while leaving a necessary care. Suddenly, a small electrical charge went through the place, lighting the switch, blurring all the photos that Jimmy had gotten, making him fall into tears, in which Leslie took the opportunity to take some pictures, using the hashtag #OlsenGetsTrolled.

Then, Barbara Minerva was walking down a hallway, with a bag in her hands, while keeping a confident look on her body. Suddenly, the door in front of her started to open, until suddenly, a bit of electricity coursed through the surrounding hallway, making Barbara a bit suspicious, but deciding to ignore it. Turning around, she ends up hitting the door hard, getting her face stuck in it. Enough for Leslie and Jason to take a photo together with the hashtag #FaceToTheDoor.

Near the corridors of the school, Johnny was reading the copy he had of the Orient Express, getting involved with the mystery of the book itself. Jason then, decided to take the lead, concentrating some powers in his left hand, leaving the place a little cold, making Johnny a little suspicious of what was going on. However, when he started walking, still reading the book, the ground froze a little, causing Leslie to hit Johnny with a small electric discharge, making him jump and fall on the ice, slipping and falling face down on the ground, with the book on his face, making him laugh, leaving him a little angry inside. Jason took the opportunity to take a photo of the moment, posting more than one hashtag, writing #EpicFail and #Bookworm.

Not even young Garth Bernstein escaped an embarrassing moment. In anatomy class, having to dissect a starfish, an electric discharge from Livewire, causing the starfish to jump out in his face, giving rise to #RiseOfStarro.

The next day...

Johnny approached the school, ready for another day of school, but practically a little irritated because of what happened to him yesterday. Diana also arrived near the entrance, finding her friend.

(Diana) - You're looking a little strange. - The Amazon spoke, trying to understand what had happened to her friend.

(Johnny) - Go figure. I guess I didn't sleep properly. - The boy ran one of his fingers over his eyes, rubbing them, until he saw Zee, Karen, Jessica, Barbara and Kara laughing at something they were watching on the tablet. - And here comes the doom and gloom.

(Diana) - What are you talking about?

(Johnny) - You'll see what I mean. I didn't have my best day yesterday. - The two arrived near the group, seeing the picture of Garth with the starfish stuck on his face, with the hashtag #RiseOfStarro on top. This already made the boy a little irritated, as well as Diana, who was a little nervous.

(Diana) - Poor Garth. Why in Hera's name do you laugh?

(Barbara) - Because it's funny. - She was talking, explaining the situation a little bit.

(Diana) - Funny? Is that what the World of Men finds amusing? The suffering of others?

(Zee) - It's just a embarassing moment, Diana. We all have them. - Johnny seemed to be getting a little irritated, looking at the girls, as he realized what they were talking about.

(Johnny) - You guys are having a lot of fun, aren't you? Did you see the last post you made before Garth? - They looked to the side, while trying to contain their laughter. - Apparently they did.

(Diana) - What are you talking about?

(Johnny) - Let's just say my day was made bad by the fact that someone played a trick on me yesterday, and my face just sank into the book I was reading. - He approaches the Amazon, practically annoyed at everything that happened to him at that moment. - How's that for a little insult to my pride?

(Diana) - Do you still laugh at someone who is part of our family? - Diana seemed to be half surprised at what she was hearing. Zee, Karen, Barbara, Kara and Jessica were not being able to contain some of the laughter.

(Barbara) - Sorry, but there's no way. - Johnny felt the tension of the video he had posted taking over him. It was something that seemed to be making him a bit angry considering the day before. - It's kind of hard not to laugh considering you slipped up kind of weird.

(Johnny) - And guess what became my nickname for the day?

-Book worm, nice picture! - Two boys walked by, showing some amusement at the situation, while another boy walked in front of him, running one of his hands over his head.

-Do you have any other books to star in? - Johnny could already feel a little anger in his body. Enough to use his powers and make the three boys slip and slam their faces into the cabinets, earning some light laughter from the other people, along with the girls, which made Johnny look at them a little nervous.

(Jessica) - The nickname bookworm isn't so bad. At least it shows how much he likes to read.

(Johnny) - Or it just shows that I'm an idiot on the inside, Jess. That was just a glimpse of what people want at the moment. Do they even understand that? Remember my story about how they picked on me straight up in Coast City? That's what's happening, only with other people, with the crowd around thinking it's just a harmless prank. - Johnny seemed to be feeling a little doubt in his body, trying to put the blame on the girls who were laughing at these funny videos.

(Zee) - It was just an embarassing moment. It's not like it's going to happen again.

(Johnny) - You'll see. - He mocks, making fun of the magic. At the same time, Lois Lane started walking, feeling a bit of shame in her body.

-Look at that! It's Slow Lois! - Laughter filled the hallway as Leslie Willis and Jason Valentine looked at Lois with a smile on their faces. The boy then lightly froze the doorknob, causing it to freeze his left hand, combined with Leslie using his electricity to hit Lois' body again, knocking all the papers he had with him to the floor, earning a few more laughs, as did Kara, Barbara, Karen, Zee, and Jessica, except for Diana and Johnny.

(Johnny) - Is this how you're going to act at the moment? Fine then. - He starts to go to the door, while at the same time, he feels people mocking him again from behind.

(Kara) - Where are you going? - The blonde asked, but the boy didn't seem to be taking it anymore.

(Johnny) - I can see that hanging around here today is not going to do me much good. Preferably, I'd better take a break. Since you'll be free with the videos... - He walks away, while at the same time, he feels the anger taking over. - I'm not even gonna say anything.

Walking out the door, Zee approached Kara and the other girls, while at the same time, trying to understand the situation at hand.

(Zee) - I don't know why he's so angry like that. It's not something evil or anything. It's just something funny.

(Diana) - You have hurt his feelings. Our mission is to protect the innocent, not mock them for their mistakes and failures. If you make fun of those we save, we are no better than we can imagine. - Diana then turns away from the girls, who start watching some more funny videos on the internet, while the Amazon looks back, a little nervous. - The moment you see this, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

On the street, Johnny began to feel anger taking over. Basically everything that was prone to bullying just stayed in his head, while at the same time, he felt his hands channeling the energy of his powers, remembering what had happened when his old high school was partially destroyed.

(Johnny) - "Those girls. They just disgust me. They act like this whole thing is a joke." - His internal thoughts were taking over, showing the anger and negative emotions he was feeling inside his body and heart from the dilemma he was facing. - "They know what I've been through, but they ignore it for the fact that they think it's funny. If it was me in their shoes, I think deep down I would be disgusted with myself." - Unbeknownst to him, Diana was standing behind him, looking a little worried. - "At least Diana didn't make fun of me, unlike other people. What to do at such times?" - The energy in his body was slowly being channeled, while at the same time, Johnny started looking at his hands, being kind of surprised. - "That's kind of hard to believe. I'm not even concentrating that hard. How is that even possible? - The Amazon approached the boy, as she saw his hands emanating the energy in his body.

(Diana) - Are you ok?

(Johnny) - I've been better. - The energy seemed to have dissipated, to his own surprise. - Even I didn't know I could do that.

(Diana) - I don't understand how people can make out that other people suffer because of mistakes and failures.

(Johnny) - It's human nature in some people sometimes, Diana. Sometimes, you never realize what they are inside, and even if they do, deep down, they have something to hide. I came to understand that the moment I started going through the pranks, the humiliations. - He still didn't understand how his powers were manifesting. - But some people are worth it.

(Diana) - Are you going to stay away from the girls for a while?

(Johnny) - I think I need it. They don't understand what it's like to deal with it. They feel like these little pranks are harmless, but make no mistake. They're almost the same as Jason's back in Coast City. - His irritation seemed to have calmed down a bit now.

(Diana) - What do you want to do now?

(Johnny) - I think I need my sparring partner now.

At the junkyard, Diana and Johnny were having a friendly little duel, putting some of their powers to the test. The boy seemed to be having trouble following the Amazon's movements. A low blow knocked him to the ground, with Diana putting her sword into his chest.

(Diana) - Your concentration is fundamental to a fight. Never get distracted. - She helps Johnny to his feet, while slowly, he starts to follow steadily, giving several blows to the shield and the Amazon lightly so as not to overdo their strength.

(Johnny) - We are driven by something. In the end, we owe it to ourselves to find the answers to the questions we have. - Slowly, Johnny channeled some of his energy, showing how he was willing to give his all to the training. He then, began to deliver several blows one after another, putting Diana on the defensive. - It is necessary to do something that will change the order of things. No matter what risks we have to take, we are facing different times now.

(Diana) - Deep down, I kind of understand things. We can't change much, but we try to mitigate the damage as much as we can. - The fists of the two collide with each other, causing an intense shockwave, much to their surprise. - That is an intense display of power.

(Johnny) - Thank you. - They both sit down, showing a certain calmness in their bodies. - It seems that we are facing something a little difficult.

(Diana) - When you walked out the door, you seemed to be able to channel your powers in a kind of intense way. As if your restrictions were nonexistent.

(Johnny) - Probably part of my powers are channeled into my emotions. At the moment, I think we're going to work on that theory. When I left, I was just thinking about negative things in my head.

(Diana) - We can't let negativity take over our feelings. Otherwise everything we've fought for will be lost. Do you know why I choose to see the best in people? - The Amazon spoke, showing her conviction in what she believed. - Because deep down, I know they can be better than imagined. Not everyone has powers, but they put their lives at risk in front of what they believe. Of their ideals, full and convinced. - The two continued talking, exchanging glances, feeling a certain nervousness in their bodies.

(Johnny) - You always have something to encourage me a little, you know? - He gives a light laugh, while looking at Diana, feeling a certain relief in his body. - Shall we continue? - The hands of both touched the shield, staying close to each other, to the nervousness of both of them.

(Diana) - I don't think so. I need to go to the mall, to change something I bought a while ago.

(Johnny) - What happened? It didn't fit the way you wanted it to?

(Diana) - He was kind of good for some things... - She takes a pair of high heels, showing how they were detonated, to Johnny's surprise. - But not for what I wanted. - The boy laughed lightly, seeing the situation itself.

At the mall, Diana and Johnny were standing next to each other, in which the girl showed off the pair of high heels she had bought to an employee at the store, half-detonated.

(Diana) - The warranty told me that these could withstand vigorous activity. But they couldn't handle infantry training.

(Johnny) - That could have come with a warning or something. - Suddenly, they both heard the sound of people screaming, being a little surprised by what they were hearing. Transforming into Wonder Woman and Atlas, the heroine used the Lasso of Truth to stop the elevator from falling. Slowly, the boy used his powers to open the door that was jammed, freeing the people inside. At the same time, Leslie and Jason were standing next to each other, a little nervous.

(Leslie) - Come on! You two ruined our shoot!

(Jason) - Wow? You never told me you were going to do that. You just said let's go to the mall and see what happens. That's a stretch, you know?

(Leslie) - Newbie, you volunteered to do this, so play by my rules. - It was clear that there seemed to be a disagreement between Jason and Leslie, seeing as there was something a little strange between them. To Johnny, that was the height of it. The person who had tormented him for a while, collaborating with someone like her, was amgo hard to take.

(Diana) - Do you realize what you are doing to these people? Putting them in danger just for fun? - The two heroes walked towards each other, while both sides stared at each other.

(Johnny) - Looks like you got yourself a helper for your posts.

(Jason) - I'm just in charge of taking the pictures. She usually hardly tells me what she's going to do.

(Johnny) - You guys think that what you do doesn't have an effect, but that just shows that you don't think about anything besides hurting people for entertainment.

(Leslie) - What are you talking about?

(Johnny) - "Those two together. It feels like my worst nightmare is coming true now. A pair of bullies like that, there's no way I can take it, considering everything I've been through." - The hero's powers slowly began to channel, causing a few things to start shaking in the store. - I can't... - Diana placed one of her hands on his shoulder, calming him down.

(Diana) - You may believe these videos are funny, but they are not! They are not only evil, but they are evil-minded! - It was enough to make Leslie shocked at what she was hearing.

(Leslie) - Golly gee willkers! And to think all those poor losers on my blog who were mocked again and again? What was I thinking?

(Diana) - Well, I am glad to hear that you have seen the error of your ways.

(Leslie) - I'll tell you what: Why don't you and the rest of the Super Hero Girls check out my channel for an extra special announcement? Just for you guys.

(Diana) - Indeed, we will.

At Barbara's house, the whole group was gathered to see Leslie's special announcement that she had commented on with Diana and Johnny, getting a little curious to see what she had in mind. The announcement started with a live, in which Leslie made sure to put on some glasses and a blazer, as part of the announcement she was going to make now.

(Leslie) - Hello to everyone in Leslie Land. Tonight, I have a special announcement to make. Someone, with a certain amount of sincerity, pointed out that my channel is bad in spirit. So, with that, I am retiring.

Each of the Super Hero Girls watched the live, believing that in fact, the channel had ended. Then suddenly, a figure, wearing what appeared to be a black costume, shrouded in electricity, appeared in front of the camera, simply bouncing from side to side.

-And moving the site into a new direction! I want you to meet your new hostess...

The electric figure reappeared again, this time sitting in a chair and placing his feet on the table, showing pure arrogance and confidence from what was happening.

-Speak up, Metropolis? -Yeah. My name is Livewire! And you guys thought Leslie was evil-minded. - She gives a smug smile on her face, while looking at the camera. - Well, we're going to turn things up a notch. A round of applause for my newest assistant, capable of putting an "ice" on things, if you know what I mean. With you, Icestreak!

Then Icestreak appeared, freezing things around a bit, creating a cloud of makeshift smoke.

(Icestreak) - Are you ready to see the story, Metropolis? - He gives a cocky smile. - I hope so, because now, everything you'll see will be in double doses!

(Livewire) - Let's spice it up a bit. As in super-cute, super-rising and super-humiliation! And Wonder Whiner, Atlas and the rest of the Super Hero Girls, try to stop us!

(Icestreak) - Are you ready to make history? - The computer suddenly turns off, surprising the group.

(Johnny) - Oh-oh.

(Diana) - That didn't turn out the way I expected. - However, that didn't seem to shake Kara's confidence at the moment.

(Kara) - So Ms. Swak Jock thinks she can scare us? Now that's funny! - She gives a little elbow to Johnny, who doesn't answer anything. - What's wrong?

It's gonna happen to you. I can feel it. Karma punishes, and it will strike when you least expect it. - Without another word, Kara, Karen, Zee, Jessica, and Barbara left, leaving Johnny and Diana alone for the moment as they waited to see what would happen now.

A while later...

Alone, Johnny and Diana seemed to be waiting to see what would happen. Slowly, the boy browsed the computer, trying to calm things down a little, trying to keep his neurons in order.

(Diana) - Are you sure this will all come back to punish them? - Diana spoke, a little nervous.

(Johnny) - Take it from me, Diana. There are many stories where certain people got everything back because of their actions.

(Diana) - No, I ask, are you really sure?

(Johnny) - I was bullied in my high school days, so let's just say I know a little bit about the natural order of things.

(Diana) - I don't want to seem like I'm bothering you, but I feel like you've been ignoring the girls too much all day.

(Johnny) - As much as I consider them to be my friends, they need to learn that these videos can hurt people. I guess I'm limiting myself because deep down, I'm afraid of repeating what happened there. - Diana was genuninely worried about Johnny, considering how he was opening up to her more at the moment.

(Diana) - You are not alone. Any self-respecting noble warrior faces a long journey to achieve mastery of his skills. But with the passage of time, and with your training, I believe you can achieve it. - The two exchanged glances, showing the trust they had with each other at the moment they were meeting.

(Johnny) - Are you sure?

(Diana) - I have never been so sure in my life.

It seemed that tension was building. One that was interrupted when Karen came into the room, in tears, going into the closet, hiding, much to Diana and Johnny's surprise.

(Diana) - I wonder what happened?

(Johnny) - I have no idea.

Their curiosity only grew, wanting to satiate it completely after they left to face Livewire. Then each of the girls returned as they saw what had happened: Kara was covered in trash, Jessica was rubbing her rear end with one of her hands, Barbara had an ice pack on her back, while Zee's hair was all spiky, almost messed up all over. Both the Amazon and the boy were a little surprised.

(Diana) - What happened to you?

(Kara) - You want an answer? Let's just say I'm not up to it. - Johnny puts his fingers up his nose, covering it for the moment.

(Johnny) - You need to take a bath, Kara. That smell is awful. - The Kryptonian ended up sniffing herself, almost unable to stand the smell of the odor that was coursing through her body.

(Kara) - And you still come to tell me this?

(Diana) - We are still waiting for an answer.

(Jessica) - Let's just say... - She continues to rub her back, while Barbara keeps the ice compress on her back, trying to contain the pain in her back. - She's a little more brutal than we imagined. Even more so considering the help she's had now.

(Zee) - Look what she did to my hair! - Still standing, Zee looked like a jungle animal in fact, because of her messy hair from what had happened. - She didn't have an ounce of decency with me!

(Karen) - I don't want to leave here!

(Barbara) - Totally brutal. She legally detonated my back. - She lies down on the bed, keeping the compress on her back. Slowly, the Super Hero Girls felt a certain worry in their bodies. A small light giggle was heard from Johnny, leaving the quintet of girls who went to face Livewire on the city streets.

(Jessica) - What's so funny?

(Johnny) - Sorry. When I get nervous, I end up laughing.

(Kara) - Are you talking to us again now?

(Johnny) - Not that I am, but if it turns out that one had trouble with the garbage, the other is looking like a ferocious animal from the African savannah, and some... - He looks at the girls, seeing how they were still having trouble with the shame they had been through. - They've had some kind of violent treatment, it seems. - Suddenly, several notifications started showing up on Barbara's home computer, much to Johnny and Diana's surprise. - And it seems that the videos had arrived.

(Karen) - Don't open! We don't need to see what happened! - Karen spoke, showing how she didn't want to leave the closet at all.

(Jessica) - I wonder if you could let these videos away for a while?

(Diana) - What are you afraid of?

(Kara) - It's just that she... just swept the floor with us and did everything she could to shake our morale.

(Johnny) - Are you sure about this? - Zee approached, putting one of her hands on the computer, practically furious.

(Zee) - We don't need to see the videos. We can talk about anything else, but she beat us in humiliating ways. - It was clear in the magician's eyes how ashamed she was of what had happened, seeing firsthand, along with the girls, the power of Livewire.

(Johnny) - They're just embarassing moments, Zee. After all, everyone goes through them. - That was enough for Zee to use her magic, literally putting a zipper in her mouth, much to the surprise of the other girls.

(Diana) - That was kind of a low blow, you know? - Diana said, practically worried about what she would see in the videos.

(Barbara) - Why the zipper now? - Annoyed, Zee used her magic to conjure pen and paper, writing and trying to keep calm. - I'm not really in the mood to talk right now. I'm not taking that thing out of my mouth until they're done watching the videos. - The magician does a facepalm, while Johnny and Diana access Livewire's blog by posting to the videos page.

Kara, Jessica, Karen, Barbara and Zee were afraid of what had happened to them. To add to the situation, they wondered how many people might have seen the videos so far. But only Diana and the boy next to her were not afraid at the moment. They needed to see what had happened in the meantime.

In the Supergirl video, the Kryptonian began her battle with Livewire, using her strength to contain her at first. However, the villain gathered more energy, using her powers to throw Supergirl into a garbage dumpster.

Green Lantern then began to be attacked by Livewire, conjuring the powers of her ring to create a tire, launching it at Livewire, throwing her backwards. However, Icestreak appeared in front of her, launching several bursts from his hands, putting her on the defensive, until a section of the ground was frozen, leaving Jessica half surprised. The distraction was enough for Livewire to appear behind her, kicking her in the butt, leaving Jessica dizzy.

For Zatanna, her attempt to beat Livewire turned into a nightmare in a matter of seconds. The villain made a triumphant entrance, causing the heroine to reciprocate with the same gesture, making a triumphant entrance worthy of real magic. When Livewire saw this, she used some of her electricity to hit Zatanna's hair, leaving it all spiky, only to make the humiliation worse, Icestreak took the opportunity to make a small slip, throwing a bucket of ice on top of the heroine, making her feel intense cold, because of what had happened.

With Batgirl, she was riding her scooter, trying to get to where Livewire was. However, at a certain distance, Icestreak froze a part of the street, causing the heroine to slide down the street, trying to steady herself. Amazingly, Batgirl made it through the frozen lane, until Livewire took control of the scooter, causing the heroine to lose control and be thrown out of her own vehicle. To complicate matters, the scooter itself chased after her at the end of the video.

Arriving at Bumblebee, she went on the hunt for Livewire, only to make matters worse, the villain took control of her costume, taking over all the controls, and making her dance in a completely humiliating way. Staring at the monitor, Barbara watched every part of the video, while reading the comments, none of which were kind.

(Karen) - And I will never, ever, ever leave here! Never! - Jess did everything she could to try to comfort her, while the girls tried to recover. Zee, on the other hand, felt her body trembling.

(Zee) - It still feels like I'm feeling the ice age in my body! - The magician covers herself with a sheet, trying to warm herself for the moment.

(Johnny) - And then? - He remains seated, looking at each one of the group. - Now you have seen the price of these videos. - The boy spoke, showing how right he was.

(Zee) - They really laughed at us, as if we were walking jokes. - Her body was still shaking, while at the same time, it made her take a hot chocolate to calm down a bit. - As if our pain was actually funny!

(Barbara) - And yet, this whole situation...

(Johnny) - It's like I said, everything that goes, comes back. And you got the attack all doubled, literally. - He kept looking at the girls, making the situation clear. Not like he was enjoying it, but actually concerned. - At first it's funny, but when someone watching suffers the attack, it stops being fun.

(Kara) - Now I ask you: Are you enjoying all this? Is this your revenge thing now?

(Johnny) - With your suffering, I'm not having fun. Deep down, the fact that it's right, I don't think it matters now. - Sighs, nervous. - When someone ends up being a victim of this kind of prank, it's not just fun. You know I've been there, and I say it from experience. Only I ask myself: why would anyone laugh at other people's pain? - It was clear that he was asking the same question Diana had asked earlier about the situation. - I ask to see if you know?

It seemed kind of clear that even the girls didn't know the answer. Gradually, the difficulty was kind of obvious.

(Diana) - Let's not keep arguing. If we are together...

(Jessica) - I think we owe you an apology. Deep down...

(Johnny) - Were they acting like idiots?

(Kara) - It was kind of clear, now. But yeah. We had no idea how far these videos could go. What's even worse is that we still laugh at you. - The girls actually looked kind of worried. Considering how they laughed at Johnny and everything that's happened to him so far. The bullying and everything else, without even caring. - Could you forgive us?

(Zee) - I don't admit it much, but I know I was wrong. All of us. Please... - Johnny just turned around, looking at the computer, while giving a smile on his face.

(Johnny) - I forgave you a long time ago. I was just waiting for you to realize the mistake you were making. - Diana smiled, looking at her friend, seeing that he was acting right, without holding a grudge against the girls. They smiled back, too, until they received a notification from Livewire, making them all a little nervous.

(Livewire) - What's up, Metropolis? - At the same time, in front of his cloud of smoke, Icestreak revealed his presence again, for the cameras.

(Icestreak) - Did you miss us? Icestreak, at your service.

(Livewire) - Livewire here once again with a great challenge for our shockers! Glen Morgan Square. Midnight. Come watch our most epic prank yet. And, Super-Lamo-girls, especially you, Wonder Wimp and Atlas... You should come too, if you're brave enough. - At the close, it was Livewire kicking Jess' ass in a loop, in which she could only stare, embarrassed. Diana then puts a little smile on her face.

(Diana) - Livewire dares to challenge us? Now that's funny! - She elbows Kara in the shoulder, while the group just snorts, a little annoyed.

Midnight...

In Glen Morgan Square, the Super Hero Girls stood behind an alley. Only Wonder Woman and Atlas seemed to be half-confident, while Zatanna, Green Lantern, Bumblebee, Batgirl and Supergirl were hiding in the shadows, afraid of the possible humiliation that might come at the moment. The feeling of uncertainty was clear. And in a few seconds, everything could go wrong. Johnny knew how they felt, considering how humiliated he'd been at times, but he knew they couldn't hesitate. On a huge stage set up in the street, Livewire and Icestreak were gathered next to each other, showing little confidence in their bodies.

(Diana) - Sisters! Why are you so frightened when many of us have come to see us triumph?

(Zee) - We are not scared! It's just that they haven't come to see us triumph!

(Kara) - They're going to make complete fools of us! - Atlas knew that things seemed to be difficult.

(Livewire) - What's up, Metropolis? Ready for the prank of the century? - Jason was holding a tablet, practically confident in the moment.

(Icestreak) - You tell me, Livewire? - She bows, making a reference to the Queen of Mischief. - Perhaps we need to refresh their memories a bit.

(Livewire) - Which way? We have already shown everything we had to show.

(Icestreak) - Really? - She giggles lightly as she tries to spice up the pranks a bit. - Last time we checked, our intrepid protectors had some pretty "funny" moments, so to speak.

(Jessica) - Funny? - Jessica still looked completely nervous, feeling her legs shaking.

(Livewire) - Nice recap, buddy. So you guys must be wondering what Livewire has in mind for her shocking friends? We're getting things started as the queen of memes releases some pretty fun memes! - Open one of your hands to Icestreak. - Partner, spin the first one, please!

(Johnny) - And here come the memes. The worst part of the beginning of a bad joke... - It was slowly becoming clear Atlas' difficulty in seeing that too, but he needed to at least see what they had in mind. The first was the trash incident involving Supergirl.

(Livewire) - Ha! Explain your recycled costume! - The Kryptonian just bowed her head. Next, it was Batgirl's turn. - Apparently, Batgirl still needs her wheels. - Barbara hid behind her cape.

(Icestreak) - Let's just say that this slip of the tongue was a little "icy" for her. - A bad joke, but it was enough to get a lot of laughs from the crowd.

(Livewire) - Look, everyone! Looks like we found the cause of the greenhouse effect! - Jessica simply blushed with embarrassment, seeing everything that was happening.

(Icestreak) - Should I start cutting my plants off at the root, Livewire?

(Livewire) - It depends. If your house is full of them, cut back to avoid the fumes! - Slowly, the two villains began to giggle as Icestreak moved to Zatanna's slide.

(Icestreak) - Now who used it better? Zatanna or the porcupine? - Jason was giving a smug little smile on his face, feeling a confidence, greater than anything he had ever felt before at the moment.

(Livewire) - That's my line, partner!

(Icestreak) - I know. I just wanted to take a bit of a lead to show you what's coming next. Editor, spin the tape! - Running one of his hands over the tablet, he puts the video of Zatanna getting the bucket of ice on her body, yielding a laugh so intense, but that was enough to make the magic recede, making Atlas kind of mad. Lastly, it was Bumblebee's turn, pretty much with the dance fiasco he was forced to do because of Livewire, making Karen hide behind a trash can.

(Livewire) - Looks like bees don't really dance. But wait... it looks like two people are missing. Where are Wonder Weenie and pathetic Atlas? Will they have the courage to show up tonight? Come on! Livewire is calling...

(Icestreak) - I think he must be feeling a bit limited at the moment. After all, let's agree that he is kind of weak.

Atlas seemed to be enraged. One of his fists was unconsciously channeling energy, while at the same time, Wonder Woman seemed unwilling to give in to someone so cruel. They then, felt they needed to leave. Atlas, not wanting to give up, considering everything he remembered.

(Diana) - Come sisters! - The two heroes jumped out of the alley, preparing for the fight. - We can't let Livewire beat us like this! Let's show her that... - Diana and Johnny looked to the side, seeing that the girls were still hiding, afraid of the humiliation they might suffer. - What are you doing? We have to stop her!

(Barbara) - What are you, crazy? Do you honestly expect us to go there?

(Diana) - Yes! Do you honestly believe they would actually laugh at your pain considering how many times you have saved them? - No response was heard from the Amazon, making the answer quite clear.

(Johnny) - You know what you must do. But you are afraid of the reaction of the people we save. No matter what happens, a hero never surrenders. - Although he had forgiven the girls, deep inside, his anger was coming back. - Everyone have embarrassing moments, you told me that, even more so when you laughed at my face when I was the target of one of them! I may have suffered bullying in my old town, but I didn't let myself be shaken, even when several bad things happened one after another. You should do the same. - Snorts, practically annoyed. - If you're willing, follow us. But if not, at least I know the two of us aren't cowards after all.

Diana seemed to be concerned about Johnny's words. Making her concern clear, the Amazon looked at the would-be hero, trying to understand the situation.

(Diana) - You said you forgave them, but you still seem to be holding a grudge.

(Johnny) - I'm not. I just didn't expect them to be afraid. They need motivation, but they don't seem to have any...

The two heroes felt their dilemma growing. The crowd just watched, with a smile on their faces, demonstrating what the next joke they would witness would be.

(Livewire) - Hey, look who's here!

(Icestreak) - Back for more, Atlas?

(Diana) - SHUT UP! - Diana readied her shield and sword in her hands, showing that she was prepared for the upcoming fight. - You tormented the city with your bullying for too long!

(Icestreak) - Right. - Both sides are preparing. - Are you ready to make history? - The Amazon set off to deliver the first blow, however, Livewire launched a kiss at her, electrocuting her, causing Atlas to concentrate his powers into a blast, which hits them both, but has almost no effect.

(Livewire) - Is that it? - The hero then conjured a barrier in front of him, protecting himself from Livewire's attack, as his anger grew more and more intense. With that, he took the opportunity to focus his energy in a certain point, appearing behind the villains and giving a blow that threw them to Diana, managing to give a double blow on the face of Livewire and Icestreak. Atlas then took off on the ice villain, channeling all of his anger at the pain and suffering from the bullying he had endured, leaving Livewire with Diana.

The standoff was clear, yet Livewire seemed to be getting the better of the fight against Diana. Putting up her shield, the Amazon proved she was not afraid, even more so with an unfavorable fight on her side. Icestreak, on the other hand, conjured two ice daggers, keeping a smile on her face.

(Icestreak) - I must take into account that you don't have any weapons. - Atlas dodges each attack that was launched, making it clear that he was trying to avoid them, until the hero puts his two hands on the villain's chest, throwing him to the ground. Icestreak got up, until suddenly, Johnny punched him in the face.

(Johnny) - Not so tough now, are you? - His anger grew, as he felt people laughing at his possible defeat. Enough for his eyes to turn red, and his teeth to clench, to show that he wouldn't hesitate anymore. He threw several punches and kicks one after another at Icestreak, throwing him to the ground. - You picked the wrong hero to taunt! - The ice villain drove a dagger into the hero's belly, who was practically losing his mind.

(Icestreak) - I didn't sign up for this! I was told it was just for fun, I swear! - He gets kicked in the chest, getting short of breath, until Atlas puts one of his hands on him, to prove a point in his mind.

(Johnny) - Do you really think this is fun? - Diana watched everything, trying to understand what he was doing. Turning her Lasso, the heroine began to avoid all the attacks launched by Livewire, showing how she was willing to give her all in the fight. - These people aren't here to see funny things, but to laugh at certain goofballs! I'm not going to let this go unpunished, after all, I was already thinking about our little rematch... - Johnny seemed to be channeling the negative part of his own powers, channeling a blast strong enough to make his opponent suffer from the situation. Trying to get up, the hero started throwing several punches one after another at his body, until he takes one of the daggers, putting them in his neck. - Will you give me what I want? - The villain puts his hand on the hero's belly, using it to freeze part of his body, in which Atlas uses his energy to free himself.

(Icestreak) - Deep down, you are as crazy as I am. - Little by little, Johnny channeled a good part of his energy into his body, almost unconsciously, letting himself be carried away by his negative thoughts. - No matter what he does... - Atlas then went on the attack, keeping Diana on the defensive. The hero simply threw a punch that bewildered his enemy, throwing him to the ground, while at the same time, people continued to laugh at the situation. Placing his hands on Icestreak's neck, it was clear that the negativity was taking over.

(Johnny) - I'm going to love to get back at you now... - Squeezing, it felt like he wasn't in control.

(Diana) - Atlas! Atlas! - Slowly, Atlas punched the villain several times in the face with one of his hands, one after another. - Atlas! - Until he stopped, realizing he was going too far. And what's worse, people were laughing like they were enjoying watching the villain go down. Worthy of someone who was loving making someone else suffer. He looked down at his hands, totally worried.

(Johnny) - No... - Kicks Icestreak in the chest, almost knocking him down. - We're done here...

The hero walked over to Livewire, firing a blast from her hands, helping Diana hold the villain back, until she suddenly gathered enough energy to continue her assault on her opponents. Hitting them both with several bursts, Atlas reached Livewire, punching her, and giving Diana the opportunity to use her Lasso of Truth on her.

(Diana) - It's over.

(Livewire) - Is it really? - She concentrates her powers on the lasso, causing Diana to take a shock to her body as people continued to laugh, throwing her to the ground. Atlas then was knocked away with an impact from the blow. The Amazon put her shield up, blocking her blasts, as Johnny walked, but Livewire was taking things to the extreme, causing lightning to strike through the hero's chest, but he still kept walking, feeling the electricity coursing through every existing vein and fiber of his being. With a snap of her fingers, the villain exploded the electricity in his body causing Atlas to fall to the ground, and grabbing one of his hands, threw him off Diana's side. The laughter was loud and clear, putting the morality of each of them on the scene to the test.

(Livewire) - People love a little meanness. They just need a little push to realize it. - Conjuring wires, she tied the two of them into them, electrocuting them, and with that, after a few seconds, released them. Kicking Atlas in the chest, he looked at the villain, who kept a smile on her face. - You know, I didn't expect this reaction from you on my partner. Maybe deep down, you and I aren't so different.

(Johnny) - Are you sure? - He spits in Livewire's face, who returns with a kick to his body. Slowly, the electric current that had hit him before began to have its effect, showing the pain and how he was writhing because of what had happened. - I can't move.

(Livewire) - And now, for the grand finale! - It hits the two heroes with a lot of electricity, while people laughed at a certain point. Continuing to laugh... until they realized that they were in fact feeling pain in their bodies. Johnny started to crawl, trying to reach Livewire, but it was clear that his body couldn't take the pain in his body anymore.

(Diana) - If this is how we are going to die... at least we will die as warriors.

(Johnny) - It's kind of a different feeling... - The hands of both started to come closer together, while at the same time, they felt the end approaching. - It was an honor... to be able to fight by your side, Diana...

The villain launched the blast towards the two heroes, but someone blocked the attack. To their surprise, Supergirl stood in front of them, blocking the blast, managing to overcome her fear at the moment. Next, Green Lantern, Zatanna, Batgirl, and Bumblebee and positioned themselves in front, showing that they were no longer afraid of Livewire. Atlas couldn't do much about it, until each of the girls positioned themselves, putting everything to the test. Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern stood at the front. The Kryptonian used her body as a shield, while the two heroines next to her used their own shields to fend off attacks. Wearing her costume, Bumblebee began to move into position, fooling the villain, while Batgirl performed the kite trick, moving into position and attacking Livewire.

(Livewire) - You think you've won? Do you really think you can beat me? - Livewire began to gather enough energy to finish off the Super Hero Girls, ready to deliver the final blow. Until suddenly, an explosion took over, causing a blackout and practically knocking the villain to the ground. She stood up, seeing that no one else was laughing. - Hey, what's up? Why aren't you guys laughing anymore? Never mind. If that didn't get your attention, maybe this will. - Livewire decided to channel the electricity again... until she saw that her powers weren't working. With that, people started laughing at her and taking pictures, showing that karma had hit Livewire hard. Slowly, Leslie ran away into a phone. Diana and the girls then went to Johnny, completely worried.

(Kara) - Atlas!

(Diana) - Are you okay? - The boy's eyes were still half open.

(Johnny) - I... I'm fine. I just need... - His eyes start to close because of the injuries on his body. - To rest a little bit...

With that, he ended up passing out. Opening his eyes again, he saw that he was in Zee's penthouse, watching as the girls were gathered around him, getting excited to see that Johnny had woken up.

(Karen) - You're awake! - Each of them hugged Johnny, keeping a smile on their faces.

(Jessica) - We were so worried about you!

(Kara) - I know we were idiots...

(Johnny) - It's okay, friends. Do my parents know I'm here?

(Barbara) - We made up an excuse. We told them you were going to spend some time here for a school assignment. That way they don't worry too much. - Johnny seemed to be more worried about himself. Deep inside, he wouldn't admit what happened.

(Johnny) - I think we are settled. I feel I need to rest a little longer. But I admit it's a good feeling to see all of you now.

(Kara) - We took what you said into consideration. Deep down, we thought people would laugh at us, but we realized that we couldn't let it shake us now.

A few chuckles were heard, making it clear that the atmosphere of camaraderie was flowing back among the group.

(Diana) - Can you leave me alone with Johnny for a few minutes? I need to talk a little bit with him. - With that, the girls went to the door, leaving Diana and Johnny alone. However, without them seeing, Zee was by her side, getting a little curious.

(Johnny) - I don't think even I can tell how that whole fight unfolded.

(Diana) - You have the potential to be a hero. You showed that today, even though you knew you might not be alive at the end of the fight. Those who take risks have to show their willingness to sacrifice everything they believe in to protect people. - Diana spoke, while at the same time showing her concern at the events after the fight.

(Johnny) - Deep down, I felt it. Although I remembered my own suffering, I wasn't willing to let it shake me.

(Diana) - However, that came with its flaws. When you were fighting, it seemed like you were feeling something different inside your body.

(Johnny) - I think you can understand. Hatred. Anger. Pain. Every negative emotion you can imagine taking over. My mind was filled with so much fear and negativity, that deep down, I think I let it take over. The emotion of bullying and everything around it. - His uncertainty seemed to be standing by. Simply showing how everything was kind of hard for him. - When I was struggling, all I could think about was what they did to me. Deep down, I fought with anger. The moment I got my hands on Icestreak, all I could think about was revenge. In pain. Everything I experienced in the city I came from.

(Diana) - You were thinking of killing him. You were blinded by the emotion of having to relive the traumas, not realizing you were going so far.

(Johnny) - Deep inside, all I could hear was my mind saying everything bad that was possible. Telling myself that pain was something different. - A few tears started to fall from Johnny's eyes, making Diana worried. - I fought so hard not to let myself be shaken, that at the end of this conflict, I almost became that which tormented me a while ago. Maybe worse. I proved that deep down, I'm no better than them if I let my emotions get the best of me. I'm no better than who we fight against.

(Diana) - You are not perfect. But at least you understood when to stop. - She hugs her friend, while showing how much she trusts him. - But we should always be ready for the next fights. Your powers may have their problems, in the end, we have the ability to decide what to do with them. That is what shapes a hero.

(Johnny) - I know I still have a lot to learn. But I don't want something bad to happen. - The emotion was very clear, for both sides.

The two continued to hug, while Zee watched, half surprised to hear the whole story of what had happened. It was something kind of different. Unusual.

Epilogue...

As he rested for a bit, Johnny became a bit pensive, considering the last fight. Opening one of his hands, he began to concentrate his powers lightly, trying to understand how to have the exact control of what he possessed inside his body. An internal thought in which the boy felt something different. Zee then walked into the room, looking at Johnny, still paying attention to his left hand.

(Zee) - What are you doing?

(Johnny) - Just trying to understand some things. - Dissipate the energy. - Generally I'm still practicing a little bit the use of my powers.

(Zee) - Is your training partner helping you by any chance?

(Johnny) - I admit Diana has a few tricks up her sleeve to teach me in a fight. - Sigh.

(Zee) - Can I be a little honest? I had no way of not listening to your conversation. - Johnny giggled lightly, with Zee doing the same gesture.

(Johnny) - Most of them, I don't even control myself properly. When I lose control, things happen that I can't describe. I don't know if you would understand, but -

(Zee) - When I was little, overnight, my body got weird. I started doing things that I didn't know what they were. I was scared that I couldn't control everything around me. But it was with this that I discovered through my father that this was all my powers manifesting. My magic. - Zee seemed to be being honest with the boy, considering how deep down she even understood how he felt. - I couldn't control it at first, until the moment he gave me something with me to this day. - She places one of her hands under the bed, picking up a black book. - My father's book of spells. It was through him that I was able to master the magic in my body. So believe me when I say that deep down, I understand some things about not having control over something you don't know.

(Johnny) - Your theory on that?

(Zee) - Deep down, it is fear that limits you. It makes him lose control of everything. - He puts one of his hands on the boy's shoulder, trying to help him. - Most of the time, we can feel that our world is going to fall apart when we least expect it. Deep down, I...

(Johnny) - Look at me: I look like a walking bomb ready to explode at any moment.

(Zee) - You think that, but actually, you possess more than imagined. - The two continue to look at each other, showing a trust they had between them, trying to open up, managing to connect showing that they both have had problems with their powers in the beginning. - I am trying to be a magician, without having to appear in my father's shows, yet I look at some, believing my tricks are fake. There are times when it makes me want to do something against them, but I control myself for the most part. Not that it stresses me out.

(Johnny) - I wish I knew how to get an exact control of my strength.

(Zee) - I can give you a hand, like I said before. Diana might be helping you with the fights, but I can give you a hand with your powers. Help you when they in a way that you don't have to be afraid of them. - A chuckle was heard from the magic. - Meet me here when you can. Let's understand some of your problems.

(Johnny) - I'm confident for what's ahead, Zee.

With that, Johnny regained some of his optimism, willing to do anything for the challenges ahead. However, he would rest, take the time to recover and show that he was ready. He would still have the challenge of controlling his powers, but now, he knew he would have more help than he could count.

Author's Note: How's that for a darker chapter, people? To be honest, sometimes, it felt difficult to write like this. But i have to admit that #ShockItToMe is a big exemple of morality being put into question, and i tried to put it in the chapter in the best way possible, showing the flaws of everyone involved, including the characters i've created for this story. I will guess you didn't expected for something beyond like this. This story about Johnny's powers, it's something i've been thinking to put since the beginning, but it was here that showed how he seemed to been pushed to the limit with his past. It's an example of how the problems can affect the people, making them do something they don't like, how it was showed in the fight. His rise isn't going to be easy, i know, but you can expect more chapters like this one. Writing this themes, sometimes, they might escape control.

The next chapters will be coming every soon, all of you can expect the #MeetTheCheetah and #Frenemies chapters to come, but it might take a little time. A little warning: The rating of this story might change with time, become more mature, to be honest. Every character will be developed in their way, i can promise you that.
