Chapter – 2: FLASH vs ARROW.
Location: Country road, Central City limits.
As barry throw a lightning bolt on arrow, he came face to face with him. Arrow took out his bow.
Location: Star Labs.
Dr. wells, Cisco and Caitlin watched the scene from a nearby security camera.
Cisco: Man! My gut tells me this will be fight for centuries.
Caitlin hits on Cisco's head.
Cisco: Ow! What was that for?
Caitlin: Barry is fighting a vigilante who would not insist on killing anyone without a second thought and you are just enjoying their fight.
Dr. wells: No Caitlin. Cisco is right. This could be a fight for centuries. But too bad that I couldn't watch it with my own eyes. I can't encourage anyone to hurt others for bringing them to justice. I just can't watch this. Call me when this ends.
Dr. wells left the cortex leaving Cisco and Caitlin alone.
Caitlin: I hope no one gets hurt.
Location: Country roads, Central City limits.
Oliver took out an arrow and aimed it to barry. As he was about to release the arrow barry sped off and he dashed him. Oliver flies and falls on a nearby car.
Barry: Stand down. I don't want to fight you, but you are responsible for killing many innocent lives. You are not above the law.
Oliver: What will you do if I don't stop?
Barry: Then I will make you stop.
Oliver: If you have the guts to stop me. Then try.
Oliver takes out another arrow and shoots at barry. He dodges the arrow.
Barry: Is that what you got? Clearly don't you think your sight is increasing? I mean you clearly missed your shot.
Oliver: Is that so?
Barry turns back to see what really happened with the arrow. When he turns towards oliver, he is already coming towards him and hits him with a tranq arrow. Barry throws him aside and takes out the arrow from his body. Suddenly he started to fell dizzy and he fell on the ground.
(Caitlin from the comms)
Caitlin: Barry you have been hit with a tranqualizer with the power of making atleast 7 elephants sleep at once. You have to stand or he will kill you.
Barry: (in a drowsy voice) then... what should I do?
Cisco: You have to vibrate your body so that the molecules of the tranqualizer will comes off of your body.
Barry starts to vibrate and within seconds all the sedative molecules comes out from his suit. He stands again on his feet and fights with Oliver.
After an hour of fighting oliver calls someone from his comms and starts to leave the place far away from barry.
Barry: You can't escape me until you face the justice. There isn't a place in this world where you can hide from me.
Oliver climbs a building and whispers to himself.
Oliver: I am not hiding from you. I'm just wasting your time.
Barry climbs to the roof where oliver climbed and stops on seeing oliver's bow and quiver.
Barry: Where are you Arrow?
Oliver from behind.
Oliver: Right behind you.
Oliver jumps onto barry and hits his helmet with a rock. But it just makes his vision blur.
Barry: You have to do better than that. In no time my eyes will come back to me.
Oliver: That no time is enough for me. (closes his ears and shouts) NOW!
A scream is heard from behind and its power makes barry flew off of the roof and he falls on the ground.
(from comms)
Cisco: Barry!
Dust rises because of the scream. When the dust clears it reveals a young woman in black leather suit coming near oliver.
Oliver: You are just right on time.
Woman: What can I say. I can't miss a fight with a human possessing inhuman abilities.
Oliver: Heh. Now come on. We need to finish a fight.
They comes down from the building and they both rounds up barry. He tries to stand up but Oliver kicks him aside. He aims an arrow to Barry's head.
Oliver: I could kill you this instant, But...
A moment of silence shook the environment.
(In star labs)
Cisco froze on hearing Oliver's words. Caitlin shook him and he came into senses.
Caitlin: What happened?
Cisco: Oh man! I really wish barry could just blow up this instant.
Caitlin: Why?
Cisco: I've heard that whenever arrow hesitates to kill any person, he gives them a choice to die themselves in a painful way or he would watch them die after giving them an endless pain of toture.
Caitlin shakes her head and calls for Dr. Wells. He doesn't pick it up.
Caitlin: Great. Now Dr. Wells isn't picking up his phone. I don't know what to do right now.
Cisco holds her close and consoles her.
Cisco: Hey. Barry will live. I know. Trust me. He will escape from him.
As Oliver shouts to yield, Barry gets up and the dark matter energy in his body starts to run through his entire body. He starts to fill the gap between him and Oliver. He gets closer to him.
As the dark matter increases Barry tries to hold Oliver.
Barry: (shouts) I WILL DIE. BUT I WILL TAKE YOU DOWN WITH ME!.
His body starts to glow up. Oliver tries to escape but couldn't. Within seconds they both will die instantly. The woman tries another scream, as its wave starts to come near them all of the world stops at once.
Her scream wave is visible to barry and he doesn't let go of oliver. But then he hears a sonic boom coming near him. He turns his head and sees another speedster coming towards them. He is in a yellow suit and when he came near to them he took out an object and injected barry with it, taking all the unused dark matter from his body and he injected oliver with a dangerous poison. He knocked out barry with a speed punch and he left the place. They both fell on the ground and the scream generated by that woman missed them and hits a car behind making it flew into a building.
She came near them and tried to wake oliver.
Woman: Oliver. Oliver.
(Cisco through comms)
Cisco: Barry! Barry! Wake up. He is unconscious.
After 10 minutes...
Cisco and Caitlin arrived at scene seeing Arrow going into seizures. Caitlin came near barry and tries to wake him up. Cisco went near arrow and starts to lift him up.
Woman: Hey just back off.
Cisco: What? I am just trying to help them both. By the time ambulance comes here, he would be dead. Help me lift him up so that we can take him to star labs and fix him.
She hesitates at first but she lets them take him to star labs.
Location: STAR LABS...
Caitlin diagonizes arrow and tries to take his mask.
Woman: Hands off of his mask. If you try to take his mask away, I will swear to god-
Caitlin: What will you do? Huh. Will you kill me? I am the last chance of fixing him within time. Unless you want to let him die, I wont take his mask.
Woman inhales deeply and agress with Caitlin. Caitlin gasps by seeing the face of OLIVER QUEEN. Cisco rushes towards him.
Cisco: Oliver Queen is the ARROW! Man this day just got better.
Caitlin: Cisco, will you do me a favour?
Cisco: What kind of favour?
Caitlin: Can you please get out of this room and check on barry.
Cisco: (nods awkwardly) Yup! I will get myself out of the room and will check on barry.
Cisco turns to that woman.
Cisco: Oh! And by the way, what really happened there?
Woman: I don't know. For a second I screamed on him and by the next they both fell on the ground and Oliver started to get seizures.
Caitlin noticed a group of nanites in Oliver's body. She asks the help of cisco to take out the nanites from his body. He takes out a device which helps to attract all the nanites in the body to come at one place. Caitlin cuts a small part on his stomach region and all the nanites struck to the device.
Cisco's eyes go wide when he sees the design of them.
Caitlin: Why are you looking at them like that?
Cisco: These are not just some nanites. They are some individual bombs. They will work when at a certain temperature and oliver is just lucky that we came in time to help him or else they will blow off in his body and he dies. His body temperature is just perfect to make them go ka-boom.
Woman: But who can inject them into his body without knowing?
Barry: (from behind) I know who did it.
Everyone turns to him and he explains what happened at the fight.
Cisco: So you are saying a speedster came and took out your excessive dark matter energy and he injected oliver with some kind of object which contains these nanites.
Barry: Yeah.
Just then they heard the security alarm going off in the building and they reaches the site where it went off. They saw a woman and a man stood in the dark. As they both came into light, the woman who aided oliver in the battle rushed towards them and hugs that woman.
Woman: Guys. How did you know we are here?
Cisco: Uh? Can you introduce them to us?
Woman: Oh sorry I haven't even told you my name yet. My name is Sara Lance. This guy's name is JOHN DIGGLE and this woman's name is FELICITY SMOAK.
Cisco: Felicty smoak? The felicity smoak? Oh my god its an honor to meet you in person.
He turns towards Caitlin.
Cisco: She is a hack goddess to us. At the age of 19, she hacked the Russian military satellite and stopped their plans of raining missiles on America.
Barry comes slowly towards them and felicity surprises on seeing him.
Felicity: Barry?
Barry: Felicity?
Sara: Wait you guys already know each other?
Felicity: Yeah. We went to high school together. But lost track of each other after it. By the way barry, how are you feeling right now? You know after you hit by the lightning I haven't even came to see you.
Barry: Wha- How do you know about it?
Felicity: I hacked into the CCPD security cameras and saw you hit by lightning. So i called the paramedics to help you.
Barry: Oh! Thank you. But why are you here right now?
Felicity: I am here to see oli- Arrow. I tracked him and saw him here, so I came.
Barry: Relax we know that oliver is arrow. We saw his face.
Felicity: Please don't tell anyone about his identity.
Barry: That depends.
John: On what?
Barry: Whether he is willing to confess his crimes or not.
John urges towards barry but felicity stops him.
Felicity: Barry, please. If you know what happened to him you wouldn't even think of fighting with him.
Barry: What happened to him?
Felicity: A guy from oliver's past came into his life again. His name is SLADE WILSON. He also goes by the name DEATHSTROKE. He blames oliver for his son's death. Now for making oliver punish for his mistake, he killed oliver's son William. Now he is threatening to kill oliver's family. Slade has a serum in his body called MIRAKURU. It gives him immense strength. In order to defeat slade, oliver came into central city's mercury labs and stole a chemical which helps him to neutralise the effect of mirakuru in slade's body. Slade make oliver come into the dark path again. What happened at the mercury labs was tragic but oliver didn't hesitate on killing again. So please let him kill slade once and for all, then I will make sure he faces justice.
John: Felicity what are you-
Felicity stops john in middle and turns towards barry. Barry relieves a sigh and nods to the deal. They went into the lab to check on oliver. He is already up and he is collecting his belongings. When he saw felicity and john, he stood silently. Felicity gave a tearful look to him. As he was about to leave the building, barry stops him.
Barry: Oliver wait! I know what you are thinking right now, felicity told me everything and trust me I know how you feel.
Oliver: You don't know anything about me. So stop trying your meaningless drama and get out of my way.
Barry: Can't do it.
Oliver: (angrily) Then I will kill you and walks out over your dead body.
Felicity: Oliver!(slaps him).
Oliver breathes slowly. He turns towards her and sees that tears dropping from her eyes.
Felicity: Oliver please. Listen to him, he can help you stop slade. Trust me he really knows how you are feeling right now.
Oliver: How can he know? Does he saw his loved ones killed right infront of his eyes, getting punished for a crime which he didn't commit?
Barry: Yes oliver. I know the feeling. My mom killed infront of me when I was 11. My father was arrested on the accusation of killing my mother which he didn't commit. No one believed me when I said that another man killed my mom. Until today, When I saw him face to face.
Cisco: Wait wait wait, Until today you saw him face to face?
Barry: Yeah. He is the guy in yellow suit who took out my dark matter energy and injected oliver with nanites.
Cisco: He is the one who killed your mom when you were 11?
Barry: Yeah. I know its hard to believe but trust me it is him.
Oliver relieves a sigh and sits on a chair.
Oliver: So what do you propose?
Barry: I will help you stop slade and in return you need to stop killing innocents from then.
Oliver: (inhales deeply and exhales) Sure. I will stop killing people from then. Deal (extends his hands)
Barry: (greeting his) Deal.
Oliver: Oliver Queen
Barry: I know. Barry Allen.
And from then their journey of friendship began...
Meanwhile in the vast universe...
Location: PLANET RYUT - THE LOST SECTOR (near EARTH – 12)...
Parallax and Atrocitus entered the planet to collect some weapons as Parallax's ring started to glow. He lift it up and a woman appeared as a hologram.
Parallax: Astra. Where are we at the project MYRIAD?
Astra: It had worked perfectly, until my niece came and she destroyed it.
Atrocitus: Your niece as in SUPERGIRL?
Astra: Yes. She destroyed with her merry band crew and now we are nowhere on releasing him from his prison.
Parallax: Dont worry. I have a plan but it requires you to meet our friend from another earth.
Astra smiles in confidence.
Astra: So I need to visit EARTH-1. When should I start?
Parallax: I would prefer you to start right away. REVERB from EARTH – 2 will help you in your arrival. And Atrocitus will join you on EARTH – 1.
Astra: Sure. I will make necessary arrangements.
Hologram ends.
Parallax: Atrocitus, we are getting near to complete the reactor. Soon the whole MULTIVERSE will bow before the mighty ANTI-MONITOR. He will see our worth again and will destroy the guardians.
Atrocitus: Yes. And the GREEN LANTERN also couldn't stop us after we aquire the reactor.
They both laugh menacingly.
