CHAPTER – 4: WAR FOR EARTH PART – 1…
Location: NEXUS...
A man is levitating in mid air with a helmet on his face. He is the god of order "Dr. Fate". He opens his eyes after sometime.
Dr. Fate: It's time.
He casts a spell which opens up a portal and a man emerges out from it.
Man: Something's not right. How am I here?
Dr. Fate: John. It's time. The book of destiny is in the possession of mar novu. He must not reach out flash before you reach out to him.
John: Bugger off nelson. I am not your puppet. I am the HELLBLAZER. I will not enter into your saving the world crap. So if you please let me go to my home, I would be happy.
Dr. Fate: Home? So you are saying HELL is your home now?
John: Yes. And I am not in a position to help you right now. I did something that I am not proud of.
Dr. Fate: I know. You made a deal with SAMAEL and gave your soul to him for saving your apprentice.
John: Uh small correction. He goes by the name LUCIFER now. And convincing him would be tough. I think.
Dr. Fate: Leave it to me.
He meditates again and after a short time he comes into his senses.
Dr. Fate: Done.
John: What?
Dr. Fate: Your soul is no longer in possession of Lucifer. You are free to do my help now.
John: That means I can go to earth now.
Dr. Fate: You are going to earth now. Your sole purpose is to warn flash about mar novu who shouldn't be trusted at any cost.
John: Says a man who can't trust people and hides in a inter-dimensional space.
Dr. Fate: No matter what happens you must finish your mission and come back to me.
John: And then what? I will go to hell again, right?
remains silent.
John: Nelson you are really getting on my nerves. Tell me what happens I finish my job.
Dr. Fate: Goodbye john. I hope you will do your job correctly.
As john was about to speak, interrupts with a spell and a portal opens up and takes john forcefully into it and makes him land in STAR CITY.
John: Son of a bit-
He lifts his head up and sees the kryptonian ships wandering in the sky.
John: What in the seven hells is going on here.
EARTH – 1…
Location : STAR LABS…
Cisco, Caitlin, Felicity are watching the news about alien ships in star city. A voice interrupts from their behind. Cisco stands up on seeing a familiar face.
Cisco: Dr. Wells?
Caitlin: Where did you go? We haven't heard from you since barry went out to fight oli- the arrow.
She corrects herself as felicity watches him in amusement.
Wells: Welcome .
Felicity: Dr. Wells? The Dr. Wells?
Wells: Please, call me Harrison, Felicity.
Felicity: Oh, you know who I am?
Wells: Ranked second in the national informative technology competition at age 19, graduated M.I.T. with masters degree in cyber security and computer sciences. I know who you are. I keep an eye out for promising talent in scientific fields. It's what brought me Cisco, Caitlin, and I foresaw great things from you. Not to mention, you are the one who stopped the raining of missiles launched by the Russian terrorists and saved America. It still amuses me.
Felicity: Oh please. It was nothing. With the help of perfect equipment given by A.R.G.U.S. any hacker can finish the job easily.
Cisco: So you knew about A.R.G.U.S at the age of 19?
Felicity: 19? No. I came to know about them recently when Arrow first discovered about the mirakuru serum. The missiles were launched by them because deathstroke threatened them to.
Cisco: (thinking) Weird. Why would I remembered about it like that?
Caitlin: Cisco?
Cisco: (coming into his senses) Yeah.
Caitlin: Are you ok?
Cisco: Yeah. Now can we focus on the plan on how our friends can stop the aliens.
Felicity: Yes.
Wells came near the monitor and watches barry and oliver working together.
Wells: I never thought that both flash and arrow would be working together.
Cisco: Well who would've thought that some alien ships will be lurking around earth.
Caitlin gives a cold glare to cisco. He became silent.
Location: Star city...
Astra is looking into the city and she received a transmission from atrocitus.
Atrocitus: Nabu send a man to stop novu from meeting flash. You must hurry up otherwise we will lose the one chance of saving our master.
Astra: Ugh! that damn old magician always trying to meddle in our business. Don't worry I have a plan. (to her soldiers) Engage the troops and capture them. I need them alive.
Atrocitus: ...I am on my way to this earth. Await my arrival.
Transmission ends.
A troop of kryptonian soldiers came out in some small ships and they headed for the heroes.
Barry saw the ships coming towards them and alerts oliver. He took a position and took out a bow from his quiver.
Barry: What will this arrow do?
Oliver: You'll see.
He released the arrow and it struck to one of the ships and released a emp signal which shuts down the nearby electrical devices but fails in stopping the ships.
Barry: Comms are down. Nice work.
Oliver: I didn't know that they could withstand this. But we must need a plan and we need them fast.
John diggle: I don't have any ideas but we might have argus's help. They are coming towards us.
Sara: So we just need to stall them until then.
Barry: Sounds like a plan. I might have an idea on stalling them.
He runs so fast and climbs a building. He jumps to another building, runs down and climbs the first building which he first ran into. He runs between the buildings in a circular way so that he creates a vortex which helps in stopping them from entering into the city.
Oliver: This is good. But we don't have much time.
Diggle: Yeah. I am thinking about it too.
Barry runs so fast that dark matter energy builds up in him. He jumps from a building, in mid air he turns towards the ships and throws a lightning bolt and it destroys a ship. A kryptonian scout falls on ground hitting it hard. Remaining ships land nearby and takes him to the mother ship.
Oliver: Looks like we've got company.
He points out the soldiers who are coming towards them.
Sara: Let them come. We will give them hell.
Barry's eyes surges with electricity and he rushes towards the incoming soldiers.
Location: Star labs...
Caitlin, Cisco, Felicity tries to communicate with them but couldn't. As they are working on it, watches the news feed on monitor where the heroes are fighting the soldiers.
Wells: They need help immediately.
Cisco: I'm trying as hard as I can. But the emp arrow fried all the electronic devices nearby them including their comms. I mean who would've made an arrow consisting emp charge with high power.
Felicity: That would be me. I didn't know he would use this arrow this fast. He must have done if he has a plan.
Caitlin: We better hope so. They don't have much time and barry is about to get exhausted.
Wells: Trust me caitlin, barry wouldn't accept defeat no matter what happens.
Cisco fixes the comms but there is a static interference.
Cisco: Something's blocking the communication.
Wells: The ships might have been emitting a disruption signal on keeping them from getting help.
Felicity: Cisco. You wouldn't have any device lying around here which can help us reverse hack the signal emitting by the ships, would you?
Cisco: If I said yes I would be lying.
Caitlin: We really need a plan on stopping the aliens.
Barry: (on comms) (static) Guys... If you have a plan.. Now is the right time to use it.
Caitlin: Negative. We are still trying to figure out why they have arrived here in the first place.
Felicity: Dr. Wells. What do you suggest?
Cisco, Caitlin and Felicity suddenly freezes as time around them stops. stands from his wheel chair, leaves the cortex and goes into the hallway. He stops at a particular spot and places his hand on wall which recognises his palm and opens a secret door in the wall. He enters it and places his ring on a machine and twists it to a side. Another door opens and reveals a yellow colured suit which barry saw when was fighting arrow.
Wells: If saving barry allen counts as treachery so be it. No one kills the flash except me.
He puts on the suit and leaves the lab. Everything continues and felicity notices he is not in his chair.
Felicity: Where did Dr. Wells go? And that too without his chair?
Caitlin and Cisco turns back to see the empty chair lying around.
Location: Star city...
Barry was fighting the kryptonian scouts barehandedly and he was injured by them. Oliver,Sara and Diggle who tried to make a stand against the aliens are now beaten to pulp by them. One of the soldier takes out a knife and he stabs barry with it. who just entered the area saw the scene with horror and lets out a huge scream.
Wells: NOOOO!
He reaches to barry's dead body so fast and he punches the soldier and he flews far away. With his last breath barry sees the man in yellow who removed his mask and shows his face. Barry gasps in shock as he is in the suit.
Barry: (weakly) Dr. Wells?
Wells: No barry. Not Dr. Wells. My name is EOBARD THAWNE. I am your nemesis from the future. Our battle doesn't end here. You shall not die in the hands of these filthy aliens. Your death is in my hands. You shall die by my hand. I will make things right. I should make things right.
Barry looks at him helplessly.
Thawne: (scoffs) You know this was the very same look your mother gave me when I was about to kill her in your childhood.
Barry's eyes goes wide as he hears it. With that Thawne leaves the place and runs into open fields. He runs so fast and taps into the negative speed force and tries to time travel back to one day but was interrupted by something and comes out of the speed force.
Thawne: Where am I? What happened?
Constantine: It appears that the negative speed force is closed for the day and tries to prevent any evil speedster who tries to sabotage the sacred timeline.
Thawne turns back as he hears constantine's voice.
Thawne: Who are you?
Constantine: Who am I? It is none of your concern.
Thawne: Whatever it is you are trying to play just drop it. I have immediate work to do, I swear if you try to stop me I'll-
Constantine: You'll what? Run your hand through my chest and kill me. Well sorry to take out your fun mate but you can't kill a ghost, thawne. Can you?
Thawne: You know my name?
Constantine: Yes. I know everything about you and what happened to you in the future. But you can't be allowed to change the timeline whenever you are in trouble.
Thawne: Please you don't understand. If flash dies then I'll cease to exist. The hatred I grew upon flash made me create the negative speed force. If he dies then I'll never creates a negative speed force and I will never go back in time and kills barry's mother and he never becomes the flash which puts the whole timeline in jeopardy.
Constantine: Whatever you try to undo it will only creates cracks in the timeline. It will never help you achieve your true goal.
Thawne: Then what do you want me to do?
Constantine: I know a loophole in the timeline which happened before flash was killed. I want flash to live so that I can complete my mission. So i would suggest you to go to that time so that nothing changes but you can undo the demise of flash.
Thawne: How?
Constantine: I can take you back to one hour before flash was killed and you will remain in your original body and think of a plan which doesn't involve in killing the flash.
Thawne thinks about it and thoughts of a plan. After sometime he comes into his senses.
Constantine: So? Deal?
Thawne: Deal.
They both shakes hands.
Constantine: Now when you go back don't mention anything about me to flash. Understand?
Thawne: Yes. And when you meet barry don't mention about me. Understand?
Constantine: Yeah.
He casts a spell and gestures thawne to run into the portal which he created. He runs into it and finds himself in the star labs where he sees both flash and arrow working together to stop the aliens. He touches himself and relieves a sigh.
Barry: (on comms) Guys, if you have a plan then it would be the time to implement it.
Caitlin: Negative. We are still trying to figure out about their arrival in the first place.
Wells: Barry. I have a plan but it would be more dangerous.
Barry: (on comms) Anything would be perfect considering our situation here.
Wells: Then do exactly as I say.
He says the plan to him and barry discusses it with the others.
Wells: Trust me barry. It will work.
Barry: I trust you Dr. Wells.
As the scout ships landed on ground barry and the others leaves out their weapons and surrenders themselves to the soldiers. They took them to their ship and cisco records everything which barry sees through his suit.
Felicity: This better work.
Wells: Now everything relies upon barry and the others. God knows what would happen in the future.
Location: UNKNOWN...
A man in godly form takes out a book and opens a portal to earth-1.
Man: Atlast. The book of destiny showed me the right path to stop the anti monitor from being released.
He laughs...
