Chapter 2 Unknown World & New Reason
Uknown Planet (Sakaar)
On a planet known as Sakaar that almost decay and dead-like, desert for hundred miles with only a few towns but only one massive empire that rules with an iron fist and tyrannic rule. Most people agreed with the rule and that their emperor, the Red King is their savior for the world but a rare and good number believed to be someone else to save their dying world and bring the people out of the ashes.
We see a monk with grey skin and black tattoos marks on his body, wearing a black robe & clothing and carrying a bag for his traveling. This monk was once part of the Shadow Council before going into exile and it's a shame how his people willing wanted to follow a tyrannic and give up hope. His name is Archon, who many of his kind see him as a traitor and mocking of his own people but didn't care and hold on to hope for the true savior to come to Sakaar.
As Archon prayed for the true savior to come, but something happened and a great vox open, having a ship spinning out of control and surprising the monk. He decied to head to the crash site of the ship, maybe someone needs help and hurry too due to the Imperial Guards might come to take the person or more as their slaves. The more people that can help save this dying world, the better.
Archon walked to the crash site, seeing the ship smoke from the fire and was going nowhere. He had to hurry as this area belongs to the alien bug race that lives here and who's in the ship, needs to get out of here before the Imperial Guards or bugs show up.
However, before the monk could say a word or touch the ship, something happened. He saw black and white tendrils slashing the ship clean open and allowing the person to come out who calm down when seeing he was on an unknown planet. His tendrils then formed into s shape of wings and eyes glowing as he escaped the ship before seeing an alien monk before him.
Archon couldn't believe his eyes but was and believed that this strange man is the savior and bowed before him, sending a prayer to the great creator of giving Sakaar's savior at long last.
Markus had finally calmed down after trashing the ship's inner commands and somehow crash into a vox to later this new & strange planet. He broke out of the ship and soon met this mock with grey skin & black tattoos markings on his face bowing before him.
"Who are you?" Markus asked, having his wings formed back into his body and de-powered his monstrous form.
"I am, oh was a former member of the Shadow Council, now a traveling monk, Archon," Archon replied, raising up on his feet.
"I am Markus Reyes," Markus greeted, having his symbiote formed into clothes he wore and surprised the monk a bit,
"Interesting creature," Archon commented, being interested in the alien mud-like creature on this Markus.
"Thanks, I guess...," Markus said but stopped as his spider-sense felt some danger nearby.
Archon felt a shake in the ground, having a feeling that the bugs were close and means the Imperial Guards as well.
"We should be leaving, Markus Reyes. This area is heavy belongs to the Bugs and Imperial Guards would no doubt come here to capture you," Archon warned.
"True and just Markus, please," Markus agreed before the pair leave the crash site and traveled on the dirt road to leave the area.
The former shadow monk and symbiote hero traveled the dirt road which the monk was glad to hand the white-haired man a black cloak/hood to hide for the time being.
"Where are we?" Markus asked, not familiar with this planet from what other heroes talk about, being a new undiscovered planet that the Avengers or Guardians haven't come found.
"We are on Sakaar, a dying world and people trying to survive. Sadly, it hasn't gotten better but worse due to the Red Empire and its ruler ruling with an iron fist. The Red King claims himself as the savior of Sakaar but a false one as I and others see him has. Those that fought or spoken against him were exiled, enslaved, or killed. Many are afraid to fight back but many believed that the true savior," Archon explained.
Markus frowned and felt bad for the people on Sakaar. He thought about giving up when trashing the ship and being exiled but being here and how it was being treated. The corruption and tyrannical rule showed him that he shouldn't stop being what he is but keep going and not allow himself to fall into his exile. He may be exiled off his home and seen as a monster by a few but vowed to fix this corrupted, dying, and broken world.
"Is there a way to fix Sakaar and change it?" Markus asked, taking Archon by suprise and soon understanding by seeing the spark within the white-haired man's eyes. The spark of a warrior and want to change things for the better, a hero & warrior by heart.
"You would have shown people that the Red King is not the savior as many believed him to be, the corruption that grows unchecked, and how he is destroying the planet instead of saving it. Doing that shows the people the truth and the emperor loses his support from the people. The people are the key and once they believed the true savior has come, then Sakaar can be saved," Archon explained.
"I am not a savior or some god, Archon...I am just a hero and I will help this world, even if it isn't my own," Markus said which made the monk smile a bit and could tell that the young man was indeed the savior he believed to be, even he won't admit.
"Any ideas where I show start?" Markus asked.
"Hmm one, and is a risk. You must allow yourself to be captured as a slave and become the next gladiator," Archon replied.
"I get it. The gladiator area is where the king and all of Sakaar watches. If people see the truth and change, the Red King will lose his support and everything falls apart," Markus said, catching on and reminding him of a certain movie he watched back on earth where the gladiator's actions spark a rebellion against the man emperor. Funny how fate works out and plays out for him.
"Indeed," Archon said, seeing that Markus understands what he must do and everything. May not be easy and risky, but it would be worth it and can change things for the better here on Sakaar.
Markus hummed in thought and could tell that he had a lot of work to do which he might have to keep his counterpart a secret but something told him that won't happen and will need to use anything he can get.
