Chapter 3 Chase Me
We see it was heavily raining in Gotham, a storm was here and a big one for the time being as Kitsune chase after one of the cat thieves in Gotham. The brothers slite up in order to follow the cats. Bats for one cat and the Fox for the other cat.
Kitsune still saw Black Cat smiling at him before giving him a fake yawn in boredom. He narrowed his eyes and jumped to the other but slipped a bit and rolled on the ground due to water and rain making it hard to get grip on the ground.
Kitsune took a breath before looking at the amusing Black Cat looking at him.
"Your equipment is weighing you down," Black Cat remarked.
"Why are you running?" Kitsune asked.
"For Fun. You could use the little fun," Black Cat replied before she took off.
Kitsune raised an eyebrow at this Cat and followed after her. He had read about reports different reports and know the rumors surrounding the two cats sisters, Catwoman & Black Cat. And his brother was chasing after Catwoman and had an idea how that would go down. He also can tell that this cat was trained, very trained, and almost like him. Her skills and agility are no joke as it matches that of a cat.
Black Cat jumped on the upper part of the rooftop and waited for the Fox to come to her.
"You getting a little behind, handsome," Black Cat remarked.
Kitsune didn't answer at first as he was thinking and wonder why a few things, like her motive. Like why she and her sister were spotted as they mostly stay in the shadows and pull off a big heist. So why now he was able to find her and keep up with her? Unless...she wanted to be found.
Kitsune hummed in thought and the chase kept going as Black Cat started running again and jumped to another side of a large building, using her claws to grip onto the walls and climb upwards.
By using his web-shooters, Kitsune pulled himself onto the building up top and easily beat Black Cat to the top, waiting for her by the edge of the building.
"Give me your hand?" Kitsune asked, reaching his hand out to help the Cat.
"Nah," Black Cat said with a smirk before letting go to drive downwards and surprised the Fox to more as the said cat landed on her feet onto a moving train car that was passing by.
Black Cat looked up to see Dark Knight nowhere.
"Guess this is farewell, Fox," Catwoman said before noticing the rain had stopped and felt that fun was done after she got started but...
"Not quite Cat," Kitsune said, speaking behind the Cat and surprised her at his stealth ability to sneak behind her without her noticing or making a sound.
"Not bad handsome. Glad you didn't disappoint me," Black Cat smirked.
"Not a fan of disappointing people. Glad you not," Kitsune said.
"Keep it up and you earn something a bit more than games," Black Cat said, not losing her smirk and was close to the Fox now.
Kitsune wasn't sure what to do next but became more shocked as Catwoman kissed his cheek and jumped off the train to her stop which the caped hero followed behind her, not letting her get away and pulled her close to stop the chase.
Black Cat just smirked and said, "I got you just where I want you to be."
Kitsune didn't know what she meant by that until he saw pass her, a building with the name Falcone on it.
"Falcone," Kitsune growled.
"Wait until you see what's inside," Black Cat commented as she brought the Fox in to see large amounts of money inside.
Kitsune was impressive with the large amounts of money that the Roman had here and was hiding under everyone's noses.
"Surprise? Have you ever seen this amount of money?" Black Cat asked as leads on the upper platforms and look at the caped hero.
"Nope. This is dirty money," Kitsune informed as he took a bill and scan it, seeing it was indeed the mob's money, Falcone's for sure.
"True and you have a rat following you," Black Cat pointed out, seeing someone behind the pillars, someone that followed the Fox here, tacking device.
"He's with me. You can come out Dent," Kitsune said, having the DA, Harvey coming out from the shadows and yes he did follow the Fox with his own tracking device that the pair are using.
"Anyone follows us?" Kitsune asked.
"I could hardly follow us," Harvey replied pulling out the tracking device.
Kitsune reached into his kunai pouch, not his belt this time, pulling out a transmitter before shutting it off.
Harvey whistled looking at the large mountain of money.
"Falcone imports has been doing quite a business," He remarked.
"Yep, I'm impressed they managed to hide it as long as they did," Kitsune said watching as the DA walked up to the stack taking.
"You knew if we were any other men?" Harvey started but was cut off.
"Yeah, we take a huge cut of the take for ourselves and put it to good use. Or run away and retire on some sunny beach resort," Kitsune joked before becoming serious.
"But we're not..."
"No..yeah...of course," Harvey said putting the money back.
"So what now?" The DA asked.
"Hmm, if my brother was here...he would say we call Jim and have his men come and move this out as evidence. But some of them could be "those" kinds of cops and fill their pockets. Also, Falcone has plenty of top officials in his pockets," Kitsune explained.
"That's for sure," Harvey remarked.
"Then I guess it's gotta disappear," Kitsune said.
"Yeah but look at all this, it would take days," Harvey replied.
"Or a few minutes," Kitsune said.
Black Cat smirked jumping down walking up to the two before pulling a match from under her boot.
"Why are you trying to hurt Falcone?" Harvey asked.
"Why are you?" Black Cat smirked.
"It's not personal sweetheart, it's justice," Harvey said crossing his arms.
"Justice can be a personal sweetie." Black Cat said with narrowed eyes as Kitsune got between them.
"Okay, okay let's just ease back, no need to start a fight," Kitsune said looking over at the DA.
"Trust me I'm saving your life. She'll mess your face up far worst than her sister did Falcone," He whispered causing Harvey to gulp a bit and remembered that rumor on why Falcone has three claw marks on the side of his face, yeah no thank you.
"Give me a head start, I don't want to be caught anywhere near here," Black Cat said
"I don't know. Gordon says I'm supposed to work in the light," Dent said
"True, and me and brother work in the dark so...," Kitsune said as he held out his hand which Black Cat flicked the match into his hand before she started walking away.
"I owe you one Cat."
The white-haired burglar stopped in her tracks and said, "You owe me about a billion and five."
She smirked before sprinting and jumping out of the warehouse.
"I can't really be a lawyer and a criminal can I? I wanna win, but do I wanna win like this? I'm of two minds here," Harvey said
"So it's a coin flip?" Kitsune said pulling out his coin.
"Yeah, I guess it is," Harvey smirked.
"Heads we burn it down," Kitsune said.
"Okay," Harvey agreed as he was given and tossed the coin up, not knowing at the time, it was a double-headed coin and their action will burn a lot more than one building tonight.
