Chapter 3 Last Stand of the Knight

In the Ghost-Racer, we see Ghostmaker going to work after a day or two of downtime, which he was happy to relax with Diana, Bryce, and Candice at home but sadly crime doesn't rest, and Icon picks up a prison riot happening. He hopes to not be late for the Avengers meetings today and his special dates with his three girls tonight. No way he was going to be late for those and this might be simple for him to handle on his alone.

The prison riot was happening at Belle Reve which the guards can handle but some super-powered villains not so much and some rumors about old battle androids be locked down as well. And our hero called into action.

However, things never go to plan but the White Knight used to his edge and turn it around by causing a system-wide shut that restarted the system and activated the cells to keep the prisoners on lockdown until more officers can help out.

Ghostmaker would fall hard down in the lower levels hard and knock out for a short while until he woke up with hard pain and shook it off.

"Ah, never felt better...ahh...," Ghostmaker grunted as he pushed the rocks off of him and rubbed his head in pain, shaking from what happened and but his katanas away for now.

"Icon, Icon? Anyone on coms?" The White Knight asked, not getting a reply and can guess that the comm lines were damaged due to the hard landing.

"Damn, must have damaged the comm lines with the landing," Naruto thought before seeing the androids from before being set loose now and saw up top a few people but couldn't get a better look at them.

And our hero can tell he was outnumbered quite a bit.

"Annndddd...cue the ominous music," Ghostmaker spoke out loud as he watched the battle androids surrounding him from a level above him to ground level and the unknown shadowy figures.

"OK, everyone, back to your cells, and no harm will come to you," Ghostmaker offered, the first and last deal, knowing a fight will happen but wanted to do some peace offering.

The androids started to move towards the White Knight and getting close which caused the hero to draw out his twin swords.

"I said...back to your cells!" Ghostmaker ordered before seeing that option was out of the window as the battle androids came rushing towards him.

Ghostmaker easily dodged the first strike before swing his blades to slice the tin cans apart and was faster thanks to his training and agility. He sliced two droids' heads off before kicking one in the gut to send in crashing into three others behind him.

The White Knight put one sword away and draw out a special kunia, throwing it into a gas can. The kunia was covered in lightning which sparked the explosive to happened and blow up five to ten droids away, sending two towards the hero. which they crashed into four others behind the hero.

Ghostmaker sidestepped out of the way on time and did a wave bow to the droid as a send-off.

Ghostmaker would use a grappling hook and jumped onto the upper level to get the high ground. He grabbed five kunia before throwing a good number of droids in their heads, shocking them and destroying them upon impact. He then placed a trap boom to the area that the droids can rush him from the side before stabbing a droid that was foolish to come up to him.

Ghostmaker moved out of the way as the trapline went off, destroying ten of his enemies and moved back to ground level. He was grabbed from behind by a massive droid for heavy attacks and throw against a wall.

"Oh, that hurt," Ghostmaker commented before ducking another strike and jump down again on another lower level but used his sword to hold onto a metal object.

Ghostmaker looks down to see a good number of androids below him and the large metal object was unstable to fall on them which he cut the line and caused the whole to fall on top of droids.

"Sorry," Ghostmaker started before taking three droids down with his swords and punched one head clean off from its shoulders.

"Not sorry," He finished before bring out his other sword to keep the attack and see he was not done yet.

Ghostmaker would take on a good number of androids and saw he was outnumbered which he started gathering his magical energy for a special attack he can do. They are droids and get cut loose.

The White Knight started to run away, having the androids chase after him and the hero gathering lightning to dance around his body & swords for his attack to happen.

Ghostmaker jumped in the air, having his body covered in blue magical energy and lightning ready to unleash.

However, the knight was jumped in midair and tackled into the ground, dropping his swords. He tried to grab him but one of the droids came him by his cape and throw him back to the group in order to get the beating down.

Nearby, we see one of the shadowy figures move out and brought his pistol, aiming and waiting for the right time to strike.

Having enough of the beating, Ghostmaker's whole body glowed in pure blue energy as the lightning burst out and pushed the droids back, allowing the white knight to throw his blades at his attackers and end them.

Once things were calm down, Ghostmaker took a breath before grabbing his swords again and stealth back up.

"That's it. Now I am pissed," Ghostmaker said before being tackle again but this stopped he stabbed the droid in the forehead and rip the head off with all of his strength.

"Was that really...all you got?" Ghostmaker asked through his breath and worn out from battling a wave of enemies. He walked back to the middle of the floor and shook his head.

Then all of a sudden, the Ghostnet, to his Icon, was back on, which gave Ghostmaker a rush as he saw in his HUD and need to call for backup.

"A little help here buddy?" Ghost asked which caused Icon to get to work and Ghostnet activated, starting reaching out to the other Avengers.

However and before anyone could pick up, not anyone could, one of the figures open-fired, shooting a beam of energy towards the hero, snipping and hitting the helmet. This caused a powerful wave of energy to exploded and caused how our hero to lose more than strength. After the dust settles, Ghostmaker now had a crack in his helmet and weakly struggle to get up on his feet, only to see a few androids coming and a few rouges he knows very well.

The group had a certain rouge that broke the Bat, a cheetah theme villainess, a martian who hates humans, a metal man with a green glowing rock in his chest, a Scottish man with a pistol that some mirror in it, and a lantern with the color of pink.

Naruto was now seeing this was all set up for him, a trap, and his doom was here. He can feel it, his last fight within him and he sighed as he wasn't going to beg for mercy. He was going down with honor and fight on, as much as he can.

"Sorry, everyone...I will be a little late for the next meeting. Take care," Ghostmaker said as he used the last of his cape to form a hood, pulling it over his head/helmet and used all his strength he can to stand his ground, katanas drew and ready.

The man that broke the Bat, came out of the shadows as he grabbed the massive ball of chain and would use it to finish this.

Ghostmaker pointed his blades at his foe before dashing with all of his strength but it didn't matter as he was smashed hard by the ball of chain and slammed backward into the wall.

The twin swords thud as they hit the ground hard and the body of the knight falls forward hitting the ground as well, not moving and it was done.

Ghostmaker wasn't the only one.

Batman/Bruce was nowhere to be seen.

Martain Manhunter/J'onn is on fire, not by words. But really on fire and rushed to find water to put it out, if he can work.

Green Lantern/Hal is in despair and pain of losing the woman he loves, breaking his own very being.

Flash/Barry is running and trying to figure out to get rid of a bomb on his wrist.

Wonder Woman/Diana was fighting many cheetahs but not much and was losing a lot of strength, being drained somehow.

Superman/Clark was shoot.

The Avengers have met their Doom.
