Harry walked out of his last class of the day. His eyes cast over the corridor in front of him, alit on Draco and shifted away instantly. He turned left. "Harry?" Hermione asked concerned from the righthand side of the doorway.
"I'm okay 'Mione," he reassured. "I feel like taking a walk."
"Okay," she replied with a smile, following the rest of the lions heading toward the Tower the short way.
Harry tracked her for a few moments before he continued left, setting himself a more meandering route, the only destination in mind not to go near the Dungeons.
"Potter!" Draco called from behind him.
Harry flinched for a moment before he paused, and turned to face the blonde. He met the Slytherin's gaze for a moment, before he averted his gaze. "What?"
"Why do you keep doing that?" he demanded as he stalked the final distance to the brunet. Harry's brow scrunched. "You won't look at me," he insisted. Harry's gaze flew to his, before sliding sideways. "Stop doing that," the blonde demanded, gripping hold of his chin. Harry's gaze settled on the blonde's forehead. "I know what you're doing," he stated flatly, and the brunet's lips curved upward slightly. "At least tell me why." Harry licked his lips and remained silent. "Come on, be a Gryffindor and confess," he urged, his own lips curved upward in a smile.
Harry sighed and slipped free of the blonde's grasp. He stared unseeingly at the portraits on the walls. "Every time I look at you, I get a pain in my chest," he murmured. "Here," he spoke, laying his hand over his heart.
"I can think of a way to stop that," Draco remarked. As Harry turned to him in curiosity, Draco dipped his head and kissed the brunet softly. The lion returned the touch instantly.
He pulled back a moment later. "Um…?"
Draco chuckled softly. "The look on your face," he murmured, stroking the brunet's cheek gently. "So oblivious," he continued fondly, kissing the lion's forehead gently.
"Oh," he breathed. "Really?"
"You don't really think I'd be so low as to set you up to reject you, do you?"
Harry shook his head and tentatively wrapped his arms around the blonde's neck. "You want to date me?" he breathed.
"I want more than that," the blonde stated, wrapping his own arms around Harry's waist possessively. "But we can start with that." The lion smiled brightly and leant up, offering his mouth to the blonde in a kiss the snake gladly claimed.
