Chapter 4 Problem Solved, Almost!
Legion of Doom HQ - Unknown Location
We see the group of villains, known as the Legion of Doom heading back to their base of operation which was located in the swaps. Somewhere in Africa or maybe South America was hard to tell due to the jungle.
The second in command or leader in the field that led the Legion on the mission to take the Avengers is the very man that broke the Bat & later Man to Ghost too. He was a tall man with a muscle built that he gained through his years in prison and was that of a trained warrior & skill fighter. He wore silver chest armor with green belts, a brown overcoat with lighter brown fur on the sides, black battle pants, black battle boots, and wore a familiar mask that has red eyes. This was Bane, one of Batman's and Ghostmaker's rogues.
The next member was about the same height as Bane but was actually a robot or cyborg, color in silver and black. His face was that of a skull with green eyes glowing. And good parts of his body were glowing green as well. All thanks to a special rock in his chest that not only powers himself but also able to fight the Man of Steel in a head-to-head fight. This was Metallo, one of Superman's rouges.
The next one was a scary-looking guy who is a Martian and brother to J'onn, sharing some of his looks and powers but has a hatred towards humans and those Martain that are different due to White Martians killing their kind. This was Ma'alefa'ak Jonzz or Malefic to avoid confusion and simplicity.
Another member who was using his mirror dimension gun for travel and was at the base, wore a green and yellow battle suit with grey on the upper parts of his suit. He wore a green helmet but the visor was actually a mirror and carried his pistol to use his mirror powers. This was Mirror Master, one of Flash's rogues.
The next member is one of two female members of the team. She was a mature woman that showed to be a hybrid between a human female and a cheetah, with golden fur that covers her entire body, showing her feminine figure that also had an animalistic air to it, with claws on both her feet and hands, long orange gorgeous hair, cat-like golden eyes and with a beautiful face that also had a ferocious side to it. For her attire we can see that she was dressed into a two-piece swimsuit like attire, being made from a tight, black material that hugged her developed and well-shaped figure perfectly, with a pair of black, fingerless gloves in her hands and with her cheetah tail coming out of her lower side. This was Cheetah, Wonder Woman's rouges, and someone that knows the White Knight a bit.
The last and another female member of the team who also knows the White Knight a bit. She was a young beautiful woman with long, gorgeous black hair, deep purple eyes that had a powerful glow to them, her body being snapped like that of a model.
Her attire was formed from a black and dark pink bodysuit, which was so tight that hugged her body perfectly, showing her body's beauty even more than before, her suit revealing almost her entire front side, with only her pretty developed breasts being covered by it, her belly and some of her chest area being uncovered, on her belly, we can also see a glowing, pink star-like symbol, the final piece of her suit was the pink crown-like headpiece places on her forehead. This was Star Sapphire, on or off rouge of Green Lantern.
Cheetah and Star Sapphire were seen behind the group for a reason as they walked to talk, not be heard by other members of the Legion of Doom.
"A shame on how things turn out for Ghost," Cheetah commented as she jumped from tree to tree for travel while Star Sapphire flew as she talks with the cheetah villainess.
"Indeed," Star Sapphire said, feeling a little uneasy about how things went down for Ghostmaker and she can tell that Cheetah felt the same way.
Why you may ask about this? Why let's start.
Ghostmaker had helped Cheetah with her current state as back then her animalistic instincts were a bit out of control and were becoming more animal than human. She would go into a berserker-like state of mind now but the White Knight saved her. He was able to create a serum that would allow her animalistic instincts to be under control and not allow her to go wild which she respected and trusted him on that ever since.
Ghostmaker had saved Star Sapphire outside of her lantern powers and all. The moment the Ghost saved her, shocked her, and grew more interested in him. Not knowing her sapphire powers was also reacting to the White Knight and they wished to see how their lantern host would react to the masked ghost.
They were feeling a bit uneasy due to the respect they had for the masked hero. He helped them in the past and even offered them a good number of chances to redeem themselves, even listen to their problems when he was on patrol a couple of times. Now it was too late for that from the looks and shared the same thought in mind.
"Guess we are stupid for not listening to you when we have the chance," The two thought to themselves and can easily tell that the other felt the same way.
Bane saw this from the corner of his eyes, the pair talking about Ghostmaker, and didn't mind it. He knows a good number of villains have hated or even some respect the masked hero for their own ways. Oh, he would love to fight to the White Knight and break him but one on one, one warrior to another. He putting the hero out like that was an act of mercy as there's no way he will allow another to take that away from him. Only he will break the Ghost as he did with the Bat but not likey now and the Legion had a celebration to go to as their leader is expecting them.
Later
Gotham - The Haunt
Somewhere in Gotham, we see in a high-tech secret base that only the White Knight of Gotham and allies knows of location. This high-tech base built within Gotham, which Naruto designed to top the original Bat-caves he saw from Earth 50 and this world. He called it 'The Haunt' and was a home away from home for him to those he cares about.
We see at the main computer two certain people in Naruto's life who a lot more than just friends and very close from their original world to where they are now. We see Bryce Wayne and Candice Kent suiting up as something has happened, something terrible, and the Avengers need their help which they are going to call Victor aka Cyborg as it seems he wasn't attacked.
Candice is a beautiful young woman with long, black hair that reached her waist, pure ocean-blue eyes, and a figure that could outmatch any other woman from the earth, along with a beautiful face, showing her pink limps.
For her attire she was dressed into a tight, black body-suit, with white boots, a long white cape that covered her neck and chest area, with an S-like symbol located in the middle of it, colored red and white, a white belt around her waist and also a pair of black gloves that also had two white lines on each one of her wrists. She is also known as Superwoman, the Woman of Tomorrow & Woman of Steel, formerly Lady Superwoman but is not known on that in this world.
Bryce is a young woman with an athletic body that showed both power and agility build into it, with long, pure dark hair as the night itself, being much smoother, a pair of deep blue eyes that were covered by a black, leather mask, which resembled the head of a bat, her eyes being covered by a pair of pure white eye sockets.
For her attire, she was dressed into a black, tight body-suit, with a pair of grey high-heels combat boots, a silver utility belt around her waist, and a pair of black gloves with two grey lines on each one of her wrists.
We can see that she also had a long, jagged, grey-colored cape that could cover her entire body, being tied around her neck and also chest area, where we can also see a silver, bat-like emblem in the middle of it. She is also known as Batwoman, one of the knights in Gotham and formerly known as Lady Batwoman on her world.
Bryce and Candice were on & off members, as a certain Bat but they have more reasons and want to keep an eye on things, behind the scenes.
"The whole Avengers have been attacked," Bryce said, typing and saw different screens on the main computer of the whole team being attacked, something wrong was going on.
"It seems like that. But why Victor is not attacked?" Candice asked, not seeing an image of Cyborg and soon became worried for Naruto as he hasn't come back from the prison riot on one screen showed.
"Don't worry, we will find him but first the mission. Victor comes in," Bryce said, typing com line and get in touch with the former football player.
"Yo Bats, what's up?" Victor asked.
"Where are you?" Bryce asked or rather demanded.
"Uhh at the mansion, waiting for everyone for our team meeting but no one is here. Why? Did something happened?" Victor asked, feeling a sense of concern and worried for his teammates/friends.
"Something did happen. The Avengers have been attacked," Bryce replied.
"WHAT!" Victor shouted in surprise and shock beyond belief that someone attacked the whole team without him noticing it. It was impossible.
"Yes but listen, Victor. We need you to help Wonder Woman, you should be close by. Use the mansion's teleporter and grab whatever you think you need to help out," Bryce ordered, taking command.
"Will do Bats. What about you and Sups?" Victor asked before leaving the main meeting room on his room and headed to the equipment room that Naruto builds for him to grab what he needs.
"I am going after Batman, Flash, and Green Lantern," Bryce replied.
"I will join up with you on helping Wonder Woman. Then we will go will J'onn, and Superman," Candice said.
"And Naruto?"
"We will all group up together to save Naruto as the whole prison was shut down and might be a trap."
"Sounds like a plan and meet you there Superwoman."
And with that two heroines got to work, handing out to save their teammates/friends.
With Batwoman
Bryce was able to help Bruce dig himself out of the grave that Bane buried him in by his parents and fix the mess the Avengers are in. They were able to help Barry on removing the bomb on his wrist by running through an iceberg and leave the said bomb behind which lowers the blast damage. Now they were in the Batplane aka Batwing and heading to save Hal from the trap that he set off.
The pair found Hal without his ring, holding his former love who was dead in his arms and failed.
"Hal? Hal, listen to me. However it looks, this wasn't your fault," Bruce said.
"Yes, Hal. Snap out of it," Bryce said, hoping Hal would listen but it's not working as much.
"Who's fault was it then? I was the one with the most powerful weapon in the universe. I was the one whose arrogance led to this girl's death," Hal said with his head down and was damaged by what happened, it was his fault. His fault that he didn't have control and his arrogance led to many people's death.
Bryce got down on one knee before slapping Hal right in the face, shocking him, and stunned him as he was just slapped.
"Yeah, you may have arrogance and can be sometimes a prideful one at that. But I know you, Hal. You are the kind that never gives and is willing to put aside your ego at times for others," Bryce said, getting her words to hit Hal to the core and that with another slap.
"Would you stop slapping me?" Hal asked as he rubbed his cheeks.
"No," Bryce simply said as she gets up and allowed Bruce's turn to show the truth.
"I know a lot of dead bodies and that is not one of them. She and everyone else are sophisticated androids," Bruce said, proving his point he ripped the head off of the android, showing to be a robot.
Hal was shock and everything was letting like a cloud was sent to him and tried to shake it off.
"This whole scene was created to convince that you made a mistake, you lost control," Bryce stated.
"You have been affected by the Scarecrow's fear gas the moment you walked in, Hal. Will is the strongest emotion for your ring work but the one weakness...," Bruce started.
"Is fear," Hal finished before getting up and his whole fear was washed away as the gas' effect wore off and he got himself back on track. He summoned his ring and got his suit back on within a flash of green light.
"How could this happen? How did you know of this?" Hal asked, being the main question on his mind and there's no way Star Sapphire can come up with this massive plan of attack to him.
Bruce was quiet, not sure to answer those questions right now.
Seeing he wasn't going to, Bryce spoke, "Everything will be explained once we get to the mansion and Watchtower. First, we need to save everyone else."
"Fine. Who's next?" Hal asked.
"Ghost," Bryce said as she used a grapple hook gun and left the cave area.
It wasn't over.
With Superwoman
Candice had it easy as she and Victor were able to save Diana from going into mental shock as something was affecting her and making her see Cheetah whoever she looks at. Lucky for them, they used a sonic wave gun that the cyborg had as one of the gadgets he took from the mansion.
They were able to save J'onn by giving him the antidote that the martian question on how Batman knows about it, almost like he plan but agree to put it aside as their friend, Clark was in danger as bullet close to his heart was the familiar green rock that weakness him and Candice.
By following Candice's medical treatment orders, Victor and J'onn were able to remove the bullet into a special container for the time being and healed the bullet wound.
Time Skip
Belle Reve
Naruto groaned in pain as he opens his eyes, seeing darkness before his helmet and systems came back on online. He started to hear something but couldn't make it out and then saw the whole picture before him. He felt someone was on him and acted on defense which he took a kunia but was stopped by someone grabbing his right hand and started to see as his HUD came back on.
The masked hero saw that Batwoman (Bryce) had activated his system and used her shock gloves to restart his heart. His eyes widen and felt a shocking rush within him.
"Br-," Naruto tried to say but was stopped by Bryce who put her pointer finger at his mask guard, to his lips area.
"Shhhh, relax. You are safe now," Bryce said.
"I know now but I am sorry for making you worried," Naruto said, not happy that he made others worried about him.
"It can't be helped and we all fall for a trap," Bryce said as she gets off and helped the white knight to his feet.
"Indeed," Naruto said as he cracked his neck before rolling his shoulders, cracking some bones back in place and healing started thanks to a large amount of magical energy within him.
"I promise to make it up to you, Candice, Diana," Naruto said, knowing how to worry they must have gone through.
"I will hold you up to that but first we need to get out of here and head to the Watchtower. We are going to have a big meeting and figure out who's behind this," Bryce said as the pair walked out.
"Agree...and when I find who's behind this...I am going to make them wish they weren't even born," Naruto said as he picked his swords up and stealth, his voice with venom and promised to get the mastermind behind this attack into a world of pain, tenfold.
And that's a promise.
